Understandably…

Mitt Romney won 25.19 percent of the vote in Iowa in 2008 – and lost that contest by 9 points.

Since then, Mitt Romney spent millions of dollars. He got better at debating. He annihilated Rick Perry. The SuperPAC aligned to Romney took out a surging Newt Gingrich with negative ads. And Romney focused his energy on attacking Barack Obama.

All that got him was 25 percent of the vote. Almost exactly the 2008 result he had in Iowa. He lost the nomination then. This isn’t exactly the start to 2012 Team Romney was expecting.

75 percent of Republican Caucus-goers want someone that isn’t Mitt Romney – a result that reflects polls nationwide…..

    • Yup!

What depresses me most, though, is how hostile to liberty most Americans are. Especially Republicans. The vote tally in favor of Romney being Exhibit A. We’re going to end up with him or Newtie (or maybe Romney and Newtie) which means we might as well vote for Obama, for all the “change” it will bring.

      • Eric,

Looking back at your comment, your comment was very prophetic.
BHO won 2012 with the years that followed.

Although I do not expect much of current president-elect, I hope the next 4 years are better. (hard to be worse, but the people in government have been trending worse than before for as long as I can remember.)
