A couple of observations about the shooting up in DeeCee:Frog March picture

First, the obvious: Shootings seem to be attracted to “gun-free” zones. Places where it is illegal for the average person to possess a gun, especially a concealed gun. And thus, much easier for an armed psychopath to shoot many of them without worrying much about them firing back.

Where I live in rural SW Virginia, it is a good bet that in any public setting (other than the “gun free” zone that is the court house and other gunvernment buildings, where only gunvernment officials are permitted the right to defend themselves) at least every third person in your vicinity is probably carrying concealed – and is well versed in the use of firearms. Coincidentally, there are rarely (never?) mass shooting in such gun-abundant zones.

Is there, perhaps, a conclusion to be drawn?

Next up, what is it it with the Hands Up! (or is it I Surrender!) pose of  the mere mundanes cattle chuting their way out of the “area” (as the legions of the Heimatsicherheitsdeinst love to style it)? We’ve seen it a lot lately – today, up in Dee Cee. Grown men (women, too) cringing like felons being escorted under armed guard from one cell block to another. Hmmmm. . .

What if they kept their hands at their sides? Would they be shot for this?  Would it be characterized as “resisting”?

Me? I’d rather have my Sig at my side than my hands up in the air.

Meanwhile, the Dear Leader postures and preens…

  1. Let’s not overlook the central theme of the whole situation either. The beltway boys are getting way too much scrutiny into just how badly they want to start a war in Syria.

Solution? Activate another windup toy for a handy distraction and… OMG!!! LOOK OVER THERE! LOOK OVER THERE! LOOK OVER THERE!!

At least the Clinton sandwich on Bush bread had some variety in their distractions. These clowns, on the other hand, are starting to resemble a gigantic bloodthirsty broken record.

    • @Ferret While on the topic of Syria. Life is truly stranger than fiction. Video of Crazy Uncle Joe Biden screaming that if Romney is elected he will start a war with Syria. We are so doomed.

        • You remember Uncle Joe? He was the one afraid to cut the cake. Who wants to tell poor Aunt Sarah?
Joe’s run us off to fire lake. Who wants to take that long shot gamble? Who’s gonna do it? Oh lord is armageddon here at last?!!

  2. Pardon me for adding one more bit.

…Then haven’t they “aggressed upon us” already?

    …Que, Jean.

I mean, tell me how it isn’t so?

…Or are we back to the bully trying to make us make the first – visible – swing That The Teacher Sees?
This is fucking crazy. No wonder the sheeple don’t want to look up.

    • Downshift, some look up, have to to see who’s spraying you A Ballinger, Tx. man was recently sent to federal prison for shooting a spray plane that was spraying known carcinogous chemicals that also cause death any number of ways. He felt he was being aggressed against. The courts felt otherwise. What happened to the illegal sprayer? Nothing except he got paid and probably successfully sued the guy who shot his plane. My neighbor had his very large, probably 2 acre garden sprayed with 2.4 D. He complained to the state and was treated like a criminal. He finally got $3,000 out of that garden, a virtual slap in the face. He was off working….luckily….since if he’d been there, one more plane would have been shot, maybe down. Moral of the story: If you shoot a plane, make sure it goes down and never admit you shot it. Justus has never existed in the days of central govt. but it’s gotten much worse.

    • I’d point out that that is ALWAYS their way of looking at it. If they have their feet on our neck and we’re flailing and touch them – WE will be the aggressor.

See, normal people don’t see things that way – we must accept that these cretins are NOT normal, nor are the human.
Be the exorcist, not “Chris McNeil”.

We are being aggressed against, even if all my theorizing is purely deluded thought. The COURT CASES are the proof – as EightSouthMan notes below (above?), and also as noted on copblock, and here, and DailySheeple – At what point will people realize & accept, it is the SAME as the bully at school: The teacher IS IN ON IT. The courts are part of the problem; the press is part of the problem; the bully is painting us as the attacker every day.

As we’re noting, they never will. “…mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” True in 1776, true today: most people are followers. Not Alphas. Further, that Beta follower mentality has been inculcated in men for generations, and with Women’s Lib, it was a double-down phenomena – to the point that now, boys are drugged so they pay attention to the inane chatter of the dried-up childless harpies teaching class.

“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

“Gods of the Copybook headings” : “Better the devil you know.” Men will suffer rather than challenge, risk, change.

We will ALWAYS be see as “swinging first”, no matter how or why.

George III believed we were swinging first. The Aristocrats of France believed the peasants were swinging first. The bolsheviks believed the Czar swung first, and the Czar believed the bolsheviks had.

This is another reason why we cannot seek or claim “Moral High Ground.” (Literally; in terms of propaganda, of COURSE we do.)
There IS no Moral High Ground. THEY believe they have the right to take from us what they wish – life, liberty, arms, property, all our income! (Supreme Court decided that Congress could tax us at 100% if they wanted, it’s LEGAL.)

No room for Ivory Tower limp-wristed intellectuals here: this is going to get dirty. Don’t want it, move away. ‘Cause it’s coming, and gaining speed and momentum, and we don’t want to be here when it arrives.

      • Jean, as you mention, feminism is front and center under the guise of women’s lib. It’s now been established the CIA invested plenty into pushing that agenda, to deligitimize man, demasculinize them and make them more pliable. When I became a man back in the sixties, we didn’t just kowtow to cops. A smart-ass cop was liable to get his ass handed to him, seen it many times. My father was a firm believe in the NAP but I saw him make a cop look like the fool he was more than once in my life. He could cut a guy up into little pieces with words and send him slithering back to his hole.

        • These days, at the first sign of anything beyond anject grovelling, piggy would likely kill your dad and claim he was adfraid for his life.

Sounds a little like the Boston Massacre… Without the oversight.

Bob Seegar – “Hands In The Air”

I’ve seen two time losers running everywhere
Shouting and screamin’, “I was never there!”
With their hands in the air
    Hands in the air

I’ve seen bad news messengers avoiding kings
    Cheating spouses twisting their rings
With their hands in the air
Oooh, got their hands in the air
As guilty as the wind out on the sea
Affecting who we are and who we’ll be

    There’s a desperation, a real despair
Even the good people are starting to declare
I’ve got my hands in the air
Ah my hands are in the air

    They’re surrendering, they’re giving in
They’ll do anything not to go through this again
They’ve got their hands in the air
Ooh, their hands in the air

And they’re sinking in the quicksand like a stone
Broken to the marrow of the bone, oh

The dealers are dividing up their tips
The gamblers, they’re all cashin’ in their chips

There’s a man in the middle of a parking lot
Wondering which way he should go
There’s a star on the horizon
    Sinking low, low

All you death wish addicts, you corrupters of truth
You killers of the spirit, you marauders of youth
Get your hands in the air
I want to see your hands in the air

If you’re selling these lies, these impossible dreams
You can keep on washin’ but you’ll never get clean
Get your hands in the air
Let me see your hands in the air

    • I’m not exactly a fan of country, but that… That was something relevant.

      “bad news messengers avoiding kings”

      WHoa boy! Ain’t that us?

More relevance I can relate to:

That was me on the front of the barge!

… Oh wait, she’s one of those 1960’s moral relativists/Ayn Rand objectivists.

      How depressing.

      Anyway….

      I DID THAT YOU FUCKERS!
      Life risking shit that is.

I did the farming shit too, so fuck off if you see me as just a typing no-good-for-nothing basement dweller. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that, imho,)

And, no, I DON”T live in a mobile home.
Although; that ain’t a bad plan. Minus the drinking beer from a can.

          Maybe.

…Or maybe, he’s too much just like us?

          I think so.

{Insert story about the Florida girl talking about how her Daddy taught her how to make Moonshine, and differentiate between that, and poison, here, X.} Oops, there’s no video. It was just verbal, whatchyacall it? I forget what ‘they’ call it.

          • One last bit: That barge Bocefous was on was a small Tiny boat.
            Tiny!
The shit I rode was four times as long, and two times as wide, and the waves were five times as high. It made for a very bouncy ride!

I worked with a guy that looked just like Bocefous, and acted like it too.
He was the real deal. (Only, no guitar, just lots of funny jokes).

He told me the thing he liked about me was I jumped right into things, not like the others who stood around and watched.

Busting up the cables and ropes that held those barges together was no easy task. Let me tell you.

The sunsets and sunrises weren’t bad though.

…Just thought I’d say that, so, you know, it wasn’t boring.

Cables, barges, and women in dresses and strappy sandals.
Ha@! The only thing missing is a flopping catfish.

After that, It felt good to get into my car and drive home.

  4. Lupica: Morbid find suggests murder-obsessed gunman Adam Lanza plotted Newtown, Conn.’s Sandy Hook massacre for years
    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/lupica-lanza-plotted-massacre-years-article-1.1291408

What investigators found was a chilling spreadsheet 7 feet long and 4 feet wide that required a special printer, a document that contained Lanza’s obsessive, extensive research — in nine-point font — about mass murders of the past, and even attempted murders.

But it wasn’t just a spreadsheet. It was a score sheet.

“They don’t believe this was just a spreadsheet. They believe it was a score sheet,” he continued. “This was the work of a video gamer, and that it was his intent to put his own name at the very top of that list. They believe that he picked an elementary school because he felt it was a point of least resistance, where he could rack up the greatest number of kills. That’s what (the Connecticut police) believe.”

    • ” Morbid find suggests murder-obsessed gunman Adam Lanza plotted Newtown, Conn.’s Sandy Hook massacre for years”

Bullshit. Apparently, the NYDN still hadn’t given up (in March) on trying to push the falsehood that there had been a massacre of schoolkids in a long closed school in CT. This Lupica asshole is a delusional liar. “Murder obsessed gunman”, my ass.

      • Ed, I’m not sure what you’re saying here. Do you suggest Lanza wasn’t a murder obsessed gunman? Lupica is lying about what? Just trying to understand what you’re saying.

        • I’m saying that there was most likely never any massacre at all. If there was, there’s no convincing evidence that would indicate that Lanza was involved in any way other than having his dead body dragged there by his killers.

Lupica is passing on some kind of invented bullshit in an attempt to interest someone in the idea that there is any indication whatsoever that this poor, murdered guy, Adam Lanza, was some sort of nutjob mass murderer. The whole official story is so fucking ludicrous that I’m surprised anyone has bought it.

          • Yes, Ed is right Eightsouthman. There are way too many disturbing discrepancies in the official story, the father of an allegedly slain child seen on camera laughing and then going into character when they started “officially” filming, a woman who is supposedly a Sandy Hook parent that looks suspiciously like James Holmes’ attorney out in Aurora, CO. As Jon Rappaport points out, there always seem to be reports of additional shooters in these cases, but the official report ends up “Lone nut; open and shut case.” Remember the OKC bombing? Way too many discrepancies there as well (John Does 1 & 2, seismographs recording multiple events, cutting charge sheared columns, Andreas Strasmeir, Carol Elizabeth Howe, etc.). How about Waco? They went in to “save the children” and burned them to death. More and more of us don’t buy the official BS anymore. They burn the Reichstag periodically in an effort to stir up the masses, but it isn’t working too well. Time for a major EMP event to shut down the Internet so they can finish off what’s left of the republic and our rights with it I guess

          • Well, it was all too contrived from the very start. Obfuscation was the order of the day up till they “sealed” the records and made the entire clusterfuck secret, a sure indication of a coverup. Sorry, I was just thinking of the MMS story….never mind.

          • Boothe and 8, the Boston Marathon hoax has been examined closely here:

            http://www.davesweb.cnchost.com/index.html

The still photos from the scene really reveal just what a lame hoax the whole thing was, with the fake blood, the ridiculous looking fake injuries and views of the crisis actors running around uninjured and getting into position for their photo ops.

Check out the series of posts there titled “the curious case of the man who could only sit down.” You’ll probably never believe another word you hear on TV.

          • Ed, cnchost was offline to due to exceeding bandwidth allocation but I saw those photos long ago. Another ludicrous bunch of photos and video. I just went outside and checked, yep, horseshit for sure. You’d have had to have one of the “pressure cookers” strapped to your leg to blow it off and that guy certainly wasn’t injured. Sure, tell me he’s bopping along with a blown off leg and not stunned to the point of being null and void. Besides, the bloody stump was covered with a pant leg, no ripped off pant or injury to the chair or anything else. Yep, more horseshit.

          • 8, since I don’t watch TV or listen to radio, this latest “mass shooting” hoax passed without my notice. It’s another fable that I’ll simply assume never happened. Maybe someone was shot, who knows? Why should I care, anyway?

As far as I know, this kind of shit happens only on TV, is explained first on TV and only affects people who watch TV. I don’t watch TV because TV doesn’t interest me. Therefore, when some TV addict I don’t know starts telling me about it without my asking them to, while I’m out somewhere minding my own business, it makes me (as Ron White says) “3rd Generation Don’t Give A Fuck”. 😉

          • Ed, I guess that leaves us all out of the loop. No tv, no radio(what for?), just internet. We can look at radar, figure out where the tornado will drop us. I even remember the last thing I heard on the radio. “Come to the Scurry Coliseum Saturday Night for Mel Tillis….Live!! No shit, he’s still alive? Bet he still can’t sing.

          • Ed, you are just not a properly socialized lab rat. I’ll bet you don’t even have an Obama notification device (aka: smartphone) do you comrade?

  5. Dear Eric,

Right. An extreme example was Kennesaw, Georgia.

    Wiki:

    Gun law

The town is noted for its unusual gun legislation. In 1982 the city passed an ordinance [Sec 34-21][17]

    (a) In order to provide for the emergency management of the city, and further in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants, every head of household residing in the city limits is required to maintain a firearm, together with ammunition therefore.
    (b) Exempt from the effect of this section are those heads of households who suffer a physical or mental disability which would prohibit them from using such a firearm. Further exempt from the effect of this section are those heads of households who are paupers or who conscientiously oppose maintaining firearms as a result of beliefs or religious doctrine, or persons convicted of a felony.

Gun rights activist David Kopel has claimed that there is evidence that this gun law has reduced the incident rate of home burglaries citing that in the first year, home burglaries dropped from 65 before the ordinance, down to 26 in 1983, and to 11 in 1984.[18] Another report observed a noticeable reduction in burglary from 1981, the year before the ordinance was passed, to 1999. A 2001 media report stated that Kennesaw’s crime rates continued to decline and were well below the national average, making citizens feel safer and more secure.[19]

The city’s website claims the city has the lowest crime rate in Cobb county.[23]

No libertarian would ever require gun ownership of course. That is also a violation of rights and freedom. But taken in isolation, this real world experiment does confirm: “More guns, less crime”.

    • Bevin – Check the ordinance out carefully; if you have religious convictions or merely undefined “beliefs” that prevent you from owning a weapon you are exempt, therefore making it purely voluntary. The irony of it is that clover, being all about “the law” might miss that and be forced to become part of the solution rather than part of the problem. Now let’s contrast Kennesaw’s crime rate with gun banning Morton Grove, Illinois…let’s just say it ain’t pretty.

      • Dear Boothe,

Since I quoted it, you can rest assured that I read it.

I agree. That clause was not that bad, within the context of contemporary Minarchism. It is more enlightened than one would normally expect in this ever more statist tyranny we live under.

I have no quarrel with you on that.

I was merely covering my ass against purist natural rights objections. I.e., Strictly speaking, no one has the right to dictate law to anyone else.

As a purist myself, I am acutely aware of less obvious rights violations.

    • Morning, Bevin!

      Indeed.

I’m pretty sure this is an axiomatic relationship (more guns, less crime). I know of no community in which ordinary people are not denied their right to armed self-defense that has a high rate of violent crime. And, the reverse.

Some gun grabbers will reference the UK or Australia – touting the reduction in murders with guns. But they sedulously shove under the rug the massive increase in violent assaults, home invasions and so on. In many cases, such incidents damage the victims’ peace of mind for life. True, they’re still alive. But in a very real and meaningful way, their lives have been destroyed.

This aspect is not much touched upon. I mean, the diminution of our lives; the way people – good people, the victims of criminal violence – are rendered essentially helpless and so, demoralized, in the face of violence.

Gun grabbing emasculates average people – while “masculinizing” the state.

      • Dear Eric,

Exactly right. All sorts of negative consequences follow “gun bans.”

To wit: Suppose the “gun ban” is only effective against the sheeple, aka “law-abiding citizens.”

Result? When guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have guns. Both the outlaws in and out of gubmint. The Mere Mundane is up shit creek without a paddle.

This happened on Taiwan. A high profile case highlighted this injustice:
        http://thechinadesk.blogspot.tw/2007/05/one-man-one-gun.html

To wit: Suppose the “gun ban” is effective, even against outlaws.

Result? Mere Mundanes who are physically handicapped, the very elderly, women, young adults, or anyone merely physically weaker, is left at the mercy of physically stronger hardened criminals, who lifted weights while in prison, increasing their predatory edge.

To wit: The “gun ban” establishes or reinforces a political and psychological premise. Namely that it is “normal” for only the anointed to have guns. The police and the military. Mere Mundanes? Don’t make me laugh!

Result? The sheeple mindset, if not already prevalent, is reinforced, to the detriment of long term liberty.

        • Morning, Bevin!

Yup – and, interesting footnote to the latest affair:

It occurred on the premises of a military facility. Yet even “the troops” are not permitted firearms for self-defense!

It’d be hilarious were it not so tragic.

Several thousand people – probably hundreds of them trained to shoot accurately – rendered helpless by one guy with a shotgun.

          • It’s not the first time, either – last one happened on a base in New Jersey. The tag line was that it was a WOMAN cop who brought him down – also a lie.
Nidal Hassan, IIRC. A KNOWN PROBLEM per his jacket. Also Muslim, BTW. Funny how his case has disappeared from the news…

BTW, it wasn’t he woman cop who shot Nidal, but her partner – a man.
And none of the military on the base were armed, because we can’t trust our attack dogs unless they’re pointed at an enemy.

            Where wealth accumulates, men decay.
We should hurry the process for the worthless.

          • Dead on Eric. I immediately commented to my wife that not only did this occur in the gun free crime zone of the District of Criminals, it happened on a military base within the DC enclave. It was on a double gun free crime zone! Where was the Shore Patrol? This is a military base. Where were the armed responders? Why were there civilian cops all over the place and not armed military members defending this base? Back when I was in Uncle Sam’s Airplane Club (late 70’s to early 80’s), if you did something stupid like this on base, you’d have been staring down the barrels of multiple M-16s in the hands of the USAF Security Police and I mean right now. Heck, they even shot a big Eastern Diamondback right in the base housing playground. And the SPs were the first guys on scene before we deployed to an old army camp out in New Mexico. There was nice big pile of Coyotes and rattlesnakes out there they’d “cleaned up” before we arrived. We had plenty of armed responders and these guys were shooters. As my wife pointed out, a lot of the cops that responded and were shown on video were just standing around chewing the fat or walking around in circles. I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to know what’s really going on here.

          • eric, I got an e right off yesterday morning putting this entire thing off on BC. Yep, it seems, per the e, that BC disarmed the entire military in 1993 after taking office. I had to call them out on that since it was so much horseshit, as if anything BC did still exists if TPTB don’t want it and that includes the military making their own rules. Let’s put things into some real perspective. If the top brass weren’t scared of the grunt, this wouldn’t be the policy. The military is nothing but a top down assortment of mini-tyrants, all doing everything they can for THEMSELVES.

          • They are ALL politicians, not just the Pols – the military brass is ALL pols now.
Fragging will soon be back in style, a la Vietnam.

And I wanted to enlist once upon a time… 😛
Now I’d help conceal the bodies.

  6. That’s the ubiquitous position assumed by “innocent civilians” as portrayed in the stinking morass of crime-and-punishment shows on the idiot box. They’re just doing as they’ve been trained.

On a side note, who else is expecting to see the pols in Mordor-on-the-Potomac try to rev up the ban-wagon again? After all, there’s another crisis they won’t want to go to waste. I’m not sure which children they can insist people think about though, given the circumstances.
