OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A deaf driver was beaten by police on the side of the highway when he was unable to understand and comply with their verbal commands.

Pearl Pearson, 64, was stopped by Oklahoma Highway Patrol after he allegedly left the scene of a minor accident on January 3rd, 2014.

A website set up on behalf of Pearson explains the events.

“Pearl pulled over and rolled down his window, expecting an officer to ask for [his] identification,” the website states. “An officer struck him in the face before Pearl had the chance to do anything. As you can see, he was struck multiple times.”

Pearson suffers from diabetes and is hearing impaired. His driver’s side door has a placard that reads, “Driver is deaf,” as does his driver’s license.

An affidavit claims that he refused to comply with repeated orders from police to display his hands, and that he resisted arrest. A seven minute altercation took place, according to KFOR-4 News.

The website in Pearson’s name states that he does not know why he was struck. His own own son and son-in-law are police officers. “He respects law enforcement and knows how to respond when pulled over,” the website states. “There is no reason for someone like Pearl to be hurt like this by those who are meant to protect and serve.”

      Burr is especially excellent.

Americans deny their own criminality, Americans refuse to admit their crimes, and instead project their criminality on to other people. A standard feature of American society is projecting criminality onto non-white and non-western people.

The military industrial complex is a complex that needs a chronic enemy because that complex has become vital to American economic stability. The nation literally has to stay in permanent war-mode. The system is literally forced to demonize other people and to criminalize other people as a basis for maintaining it’s own economic, social system.

Nations do not have permanent friends; they have permanent interests. When nations try to maintain their so-called internal coherence, they will make or break outsiders as a means of doing so. America as of late, has ceased to make and is only engaged in break.

    • This is an astute insight, Tor – that the USSA literally must demonize “enemies” in order to maintain the “defense” system, which has become critical to the stability of the American economy.

I mean, other than fuuuuuhhhhhhhhtttball (and athletic spectacles generally), celebrity/entertainment and Internet porn what does America make anymore?

It makes weapons. And supplies them to itself and to buyers the world over.

Just closing down a few bases is enough to cripple congressional districts (which is why it rarely happens). Imagine if the “defense” budget were cut in half, or even by a third.

The economy would probably implode the next day.

As Gore Vidal once put it, we have perpetual war for perpetual peace.

      There’s no way out.

Children who reach the age of eighteen with their entire skills set composed on Nintendo and eating Doritos have been neglected. Their parents neglected to give them the character traits necessary to live successfully…
Most of the things we buy are wants. And we call them needs, but they’re wants… We’ve really got to stop looking to Washington to fix our problems. It obviously doesn’t have the ability to do that… You can’t be in debt and win. It doesn’t work…We buy things we don’t need with money we don’t have to impress people we don’t like…If you will live like no one else, later you can live like no one else…Act your wage…You must gain control over your money or the lack of it will forever control you…For your own good, for the good of your family and your future, grow a backbone. When something is wrong, stand up and say it is wrong, and don’t back down…A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went… What you don’t know can kill you…Stupid is not illegal…The goal is to not be normal, because normal is broke… Great spirits often encounter violent opposition from weak minds…

    • Tor – As usual you spread great insight. Yeshua called it the narrow path and there are very few on it. Most folks take the 8 lane highway and when the jam up occurs, there they are wishing they’d brought some water and they’re crapping on the side of the highway next their land locked car with everyone else watching. Normal is just fine until the SHTF; after that those who scrimped, saved and sacrificed to prepare won’t look so stupid, will they? Everyone forgets that when the crash of 29 occurred, the folks that had been “speculating” didn’t a have dime in the bank, but the bank still expected…no…demanded that mortgage payment. This current crop of ass-hats doesn’t believe it can happen to them. As you point out, stupid is not illegal and neither is ignorant. Based on what we’ve seen happen time after time down through the ages, I have to ask; what make this generation think they’re so special?

      • Rubens painted a picture of what the great and powerful few do to their own in times of SHTF. What they’ll do us weak masses of others, is of course far worse.

It is also a picture of a judge in Milwaukee County or any other children’s court, within his chambers, or at home, when his robe is off. American law is cannibalistic in the extreme. It is literally fed and kept alive by eating its own and especially your babies.

Sadly, it is remains also a picture of the top clergy and high officials of Rome even after it’s official conversion to Christianity and claims of fealty to Yeshua. The history of Christian institutions is no different than the secular ones. They too will eat your babies. They may say a blessing, and do it in a more elaborate way, but the end result is the same.

Is that big screen TV or new car really worth being in debt to such monsters?

      • It’s interesting, isn’t it?

Akin to the “stages” of accepting a terminal diagnosis.

It can’t happen to me – followed by rage/resentment, then depression and finally, acceptance.

The American mindset – culturally affirmed at every turn – is that living beyond one’s means is good and normal; that debt is part of life, so don’t worry. Even many of the founding fathers were mired in debt, notwithstanding their vast holdings.

Few took Franklin’s advice about neither a borrower nor a lender be. Franklin himself was financially independent by his 40s and from that point on lived on his accumulated resources, spending his time in pursuit of the things that interested him, such as his science experiments.

It amazes that so few people realize how much less arduous and stressful their lives would be if they lived below their means, saved seriously and worked hard for about the first 20 years of their adult lives. Do that and it ought to be possible to buy outright a small but comfortable home and from that point on – provided you don’t live extravagantly – you can live on relatively little money, which means you can work at a job you like, even if it doesn’t pay very much.

But people want their 3,500 sq. ft. McMansions and a pair of brand-new SUVs….

        • @Eric- You have to hand it to Madison Ave., they pulled it off masterfully over the past 50 years and then left with the loot. And now the young are told to blame the old for conditions they are living under, but few have the insight you just laid out.

        • Except savings is punished. The prudent are punished in many ways through market manipulations and taxes.

One doesn’t have to be spending consumer to be stuck on the treadmill. The system is designed to punish the prudent. Eventually even the prudent just realize that if they are going to be on the treadmill anyway they might as well live better.

After all when someone who has the McMansion and the pair of new luxury SUVs loses his job it’s bad luck. The prudent must chip in to help him. To endure some pain… it’s for the children. Never mind the prudent guy lives in an old house or condo so he could have savings to make it ok if he lost his job. Never mind the sacrifices made to have reserves. The prudent guy is ‘lucky’ and thus should contribute more to the collective.

          The society has become perverse.

      • In 1929 the speculators, often the banks themselves, not only demanded the mortgage payments but took the deposits. Savers lost everything. Didn’t matter that they had enough money in deposits to pay off the note, or at least make payments for the next year, the deposits were stolen and the payment was still due.

In fact the banks would ‘call’ the mortgage demanding the entire outstanding balance. They had margins to cover. Today they use different means to the same ends, but they might get overt again.

Savings are needed in case of job/income loss, but the first thing the politicians, the bankers, and our neighbors do in a financial crisis is to attack the savers. For getting on 90 years now it’s our fault the economy tanked. It’s our fault for hoarding. It’s are fault for building capital and not partying.

From the media to academics the saver is a villain to be punished. To be stolen from. Either because he’s lucky or because he’s bad. Or even because in times of crisis we are to “share”.

Never mind nobody shared a dime of the profits in the boom with the prudent saver. Nobody said, saver, here’s a Maserati for your troubles…. but they’ll steal two Maserati’s worth of saved capital in the bust from the saver and consider it “fair”. It’s what the people demand. They demand sharing when times bad, but they don’t share a dime with the saver when times are good… they spend it all on themselves.

  3. But gee, Tor, you can’t go postin’ wherever you want, ’cause that would be Anarchy! What’s any of this got to do with a deaf sixty year old with the diabeetus anyway?

A Society on the Brink of Anarchy – Josie the Outlaw

Most people would be terrified at the thought that their world might soon transform into a state of complete “anarchy.” However, in one sense that is precisely what humanity needs.

To many, the term “anarchy” implies violent chaos and bloody mayhem, and a complete breakdown of organized society– a situation no decent person wants. What the word literally means, however, is “rule by no one,” a society without any ruling class. And while people are right to believe that authoritarian “law and order” is the opposite of “anarchy,” they are wrong to put their faith in the former, or to fear the latter. In fact, those events which best epitomize the negative meaning of “anarchy”–chaos, death and destruction–have always been the direct result of government. Yet many people still fear freedom more than they fear government.

More and more people are now coming to realize that what society really needs is not a new flavor of authoritarian domination, but a complete absence of political power (which should not be confused with a lack of cooperation or organization). Whether “left” or “right,” government is never about getting along or cooperating; it is about one group of people forcibly extorting and controlling everyone else. This is why government, by its very nature, is fundamentally incompatible with peaceful coexistence, is never moral or legitimate, and never leads to peace or justice.

To improve the world, people need to let go of the statist mythology they were taught, and embrace instead some very basic principles: VOLUNTARYISM is the belief that all human interaction should be voluntary, free from fraud, coercion or violence; THE NON-AGGRESSION PRINCIPLE states that it is wrong to initiate violence against another, and that physical force is justified only when used to defend against aggression; SELF-OWNERSHIP means that every individual owns himself, and therefore owns the results of his time and effort.

These ideas are so simple and obvious that the average person, when he hears them described, imagines that he already agrees with them. However, most people–at least at first–fail to realize that such concepts completely rule out the possibility of government of any kind.

Only a STATELESS SOCIETY is at all logically or morally compatible with non-aggression, self- ownership, and voluntaryism, because government, by its very nature, is always coercive and violent, and–to one degree or another, in one way or another–always infringes upon the self- ownership of the individual. (Those who say they want a “government” which only protects individual rights fail to realize that any purely defensive organization would not be “government,” since it would have no power to tax or legislate, would have no monopoly, and would have no special power or authority.)

People are so accustomed to hearing “master plans” from politicians that they often have a hard time imagining actual freedom–a society that doesn’t try to create a one-size-fits-all agenda for everyone, where instead, people can organize and cooperate in a million different ways. In other words, ANARCHY.

To achieve such a society does not require any election, revolution, or political movement. It simply requires the people understanding and embracing the ideas of self-ownership and non-aggression, and letting go of the insane idea that civilization requires each individual to abandon his own free will and conscience in favor of blind obedience to a centralized ruling authority. When that lie dies, perpetual war and oppression will die with it.

As more and more people awaken to this truth, the power of the beast known as “government” diminishes, and the power of humanity grows. In a very real sense, the world really is on the brink of “anarchy”: a society of free, equal, peaceful human beings.

The age of statism and authoritarianism–and all the pain, injustice, suffering and death it has brought with it–is nearing its end. The age of peaceful coexistence, and a truly free and voluntary society, is about to begin. Whether you will be one of those helping to make this change happen, or one of those resisting it, is up to you.

  4. Oklahoma Troopers, Kelton “Montel” Hayes and Eric Foster, Suspended With Pay For Beating Deaf Man After Man Refused To Comply With Verbal Commands

The rookie troopers just graduated last summer with the 61st Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy.

Less than 6 months out of the academy, these troopers are on paid vacation for beating a deaf man to a pulp.

The 64 year old deaf man left the scene of a minor accident so he was called in. When troopers caught up with the senior citizen they yelled verbal commands at the man to show his hands. The man did not and was instantly beaten by Oklahoma Highway Patrol for 7 minutes. The 64 yr old man was accused of resisting and failing to comply with the troopers’ commands.

One neighbor said the troopers went too far.

“ that is over the top,” Sacia Law said. “It’s completely unacceptable. Seven minutes of just basically beating someone?”

An Olathe, Kansas man was killed by an off duty police officer working security at a concert in Oklahoma City, officials say. Two off duty police officers were patrolling the parking lot when they found a sleeping man inside his vehicle. Officials say the off duty officers noticed Billy Simms Jr. had a pistol in his waistband.

The officers immediately drew their weapons on the sleeping man. A witness says the officers woke Simms Jr. up by yelling “Freeze!” After Simms Jr. had been awakened by the armed men pointing guns in his face, Simms Jr. replied “F**k you!”. At that moment off duty Oklahoma City officer, Paul Galyon fired eight rounds into Simms Jr.’s body, killing him instantly.

Oklahoma is an open carry state so officers would need probable cause to draw their weapons on any individual carrying a weapon. The other off duty officer did not discharge his weapon at the scene. Officer Paul Galyon is currently on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the internal and criminal investigations.

Officer-organized fight at a Tulsa halfway house
    http://newsok.com/video-of-alleged-officer-organized-oklahoma-inmate-fight-surfaces/article/3924369

This is footage of an officer-organized fight at a halfway house the state Corrections Department is in the process of shutting down.

The fight takes place at the Avalon Correctional Center in Tulsa.
It is alleged that not only did guards facilitate the altercations, the center’s administrator, Donnie Coffman, was involved as well.

“… I have inmates who have reported that they were ordered by Coffman to assault other inmates,” Bullock said, adding that no action was taken by halfway house administrators when inmates complained fights were about to take place.
