A lawsuit currently being heard in a federal court reveals how LA sheriff’s deputies assaulted a young black man who had done nothing wrong, tasering his genitals up to ten times, enough for the flesh to begin to cook.

Sheriff’s deputies allegedly tased a man in the groin ten times over a littering citation

Twenty-six-year-old Daniel Johnson is pursuing damages for excessive force, false arrest, violations of the Constitution and civil rights, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The lawsuit describes how the incident, which happened just over a year ago, came about because Johnson’s father dropped a cigarette on the street outside their home, prompting the deputies to issue a citation of $1000 for littering, plus eight hours of community service.

Johnson notes that his 58-year-old father has nerve damage in his hand, which was the cause of him dropping the cigarette. When Johnson challenged the cops on the hefty punishment, he says they threatened and then attacked him.

“Deputy Abdulfattah responded by belligerently threatening Mr. Johnson, telling him that ‘I can write you a ticket too if you want,’” according to the federal lawsuit.

“At this point, plaintiff’s mother, who had also come outside to see what was going on, told him to go back into the house.” the case states. “He was not being given a ticket, and neither of the officers said anything further to him, so Mr. Johnson turned away and began to walk back toward the house. As he walked away from the officers, Deputy Russell grabbed plaintiff from behind and tried to slam him against the police car.”

“When Mr. Johnson asked why he was assaulting him, Deputy Russell maintained his hold on plaintiff and then tried to slam him against a nearby concrete post. Mr. Johnson’s mother and father repeatedly asked the officers to ‘leave him alone’ because ‘he hasn’t done anything wrong.’ The officers refused.” the case notes.

Johnson, who is of small build and height, maintains that he did not threaten, resist or raise his voice to the officers at any point, and that the attack was unprovoked.

The complaint states that one of the officers put Johnson in a full nelson while the other punched his father full in the face. The first officer then “swept Mr. Johnson’s legs out from under him and tackled him to the ground, slamming plaintiff’s left shoulder into the sidewalk.”

Johnson, who says he was still not resisting at this point, says that the second officer, deputy Abdulfattah, then tased him in the groin repeatedly.

“Mr. Johnson could smell his flesh burning from the Tases and he was screaming in pain.” the document reads.

“Abdulfattah continued to intentionally shoot his Taser at plaintiff’s genitals every couple seconds. Mr. Johnson begged Abdulfattah to stop Tasing him. His mother and father repeatedly asked Abdulfattah to stop Tasing him. Deputy Abdulfattah did not stop.”

The complaint also claims that Abdulfattah has previously faced multiple complaints of excessive force. The case is ongoing.

  1. I just turned 19 yesterday. The fact that I’ll in all probability still be here in 40 years somewhat scares me. I’m hoping things do turn around, but I’m not confident.

    • Happy birthday, David!

Now you can be dragooned off to fight fer freedom. In another two, you’ll be able to legally have a beer!

    • Get a certificate so you can teach English abroad.
English teachers are still respected aborad, and you get foreign women, too. Nice time of life for that… 😉

      • Good advice Jean, my son taught English in Japan for three years; I actively encouraged him to stay and make a life for himself there, seeing how Amerika was devolving, but he came back last year after the Fukishima debacle and is currently temping, still unable to find a full time job since our masters want to keep us on the edge. I hope that blows up in their face soon, that whole generation (my son is 33) is barely getting by; as Eric said quoting Solzhenitsyn – if you ain’t got nothing, you goy nothing to lose.

        • 38 here.
I earn WELL above the average.
In debt for the woman’s medical.
Been through a rapid decline – lost my job, had been living WELL above my emans trying to deal with several things – and blew through everything I had left from my earnings, savings, inheritance.
          College (for an MBA, incomplete)
help woman deal with her depression
          Woman’s medical bills
Her daughter’s medical and dental bills
          Motorcycle payments
          her car payments
          bought a house

These days – I’m the one who earns. She WISHES she could find a job. (She’s taking action, too, but if there are no jobs to be had in the “unskilled labor” pool? SOL. Nice she has the luxury of quitting a job “on principle.”)
Anyway: Lost the job in Spring 2007; in Bankruptcy & foreclosure by August 2007. (she had a job at that time and busted her @$$ to keep food on the table, but… Limited earning potential in season unskilled labor of any sort. And any theme park, sales, secretarial role is essentially unskilled labor.)

The only things left to lose? The dog, the woman, and current employment. Two of those might go away on their own… But the dog would stick with me. 🙂
What’s to lose? My life? Has been going nowhere for over 7 years now. Only so many times you can play with a polished turd before you grow weary of playing with shit….

Better to travelt he world young and gain perspective (and maybe notches, depending on your personality). If nto incilned towards womanizing, you still have the allure of being exotic, and gain useful skills, and are ELSEWHERE from Police State USA.

          • Hi Jean,

I get all that. It’s been very tough here since everything went to shit back in ’08. The publishing world (my world) more or less imploded. No money in books anymore and it’s damn hard to just make ends meet selling articles as a freelancer. It used to be good money. Now everyone wants you to write for free (or nearly that) because the Internet has sucked all the profit out of magazines and newspapers. Dom and I have been working constantly (full-time) on EPautos and it has the potential to provide us with a living. But, it’s a hard dollar. The only saving grace is living low profile out in the country. We’d be in all kinds of trouble if we hadn’t moved out of high-cost Northern Virginia back in ’04….

    • Look up Roosh V, Roissy, and get out into the (rest of) the MAndrosphere. Travel now, you’ll find it’s a better (though not “safer”) life…

    • Get as much practical (non-academic) experience as you can in areas that interest you. Learn Mandarin. Both will serve you well in the next 40 years.

  2. Reading these incidents raises my blood pressure to heart attack levels; I wish a family member had come out with a shotgun and blown away deputy dipshit. The time has got to be coming when people finally get fed up enough to push back hard at these maggots; I’m getting old enough that I’d take a 12 gauge to take out at least one parasite before they ended me, I hope there are enough others who feel the same, there’s got to be more of us than there are costumed thugs.

      • Too true, but I have several double barrel shotguns passed down from my grandfather; they might even qualify as antiques but they are still in fine working order. I’d probably be lonely though, the sheeple here think it was fine that Watertown was invaded by a fascist army to (supposedly) catch a single “terrorist”. Any opinion to the contrary has them calling for the strait jacket. Does anyone get the irony that here in Boston, where our independence and (long gone) freedoms got started is now the leading edge of the fascist nanny state. Like I mentioned, glad I’m on the downhill side of life, I don’t see much chance of any of this being rolled back.

        • I see the irony, too, Mike.
The fascists here are as arrogant as John Adams ever was, only in the EXACT opposite direction.
Makes me want to align with the “enemy”, just to cull the mass of Clovers (Statists).

Makes me sick, to see myself this way.
