CLOVER, SC — A senior citizen was shot during a traffic stop when a police officer stopped him for expired tags and mistook his walking stick for a gun.

The incident occurred on the evening of February 25th, 2014. As 70-year-old Bobby Dean Canipe drove down Highway 321 with a female friend, he was pulled over by a young deputy for having an expired license plate. The two were driving through South Carolina on a return trip from Florida back to North Carolina. The pair had watched the Datona 500 together.

Mr. Canipe, a veteran of the Vietnam War, stopped his truck when signaled. Without being prompted, he then proceeded to step out of his pickup truck to see what the problem might be.

Lacking the strength to walk properly, Mr. Canipe then reached into his truck to pick up his walking stick, as he had done countless times before. But this time was different. Canipe was in the presence of a police officer.

“Sir… Sir… Woah, woah!!” the deputy yelped. He opened fire on the man, firing multiple rounds toward the truck.

Mr. Canipe slumped against the truck. “Drop the gun!” the deputy shrieked. When the septuagenarian doubled over, wobbling on his cane, the deputy realized what he had done. He rushes in to help.

“I’m disabled and I was trying to get my cane out,” Canipe explained, as his female friend becomes frantic.

“That’s all I ask I ask of you Lord, is please help him and take care of him Lord,” the woman is heard saying on the video. “We were just innocent people going home. There wasn’t a thing wrong with us.”

Hero’s/Safety Pastor’s Comments. The driver has nobody to blame but himself… If a subject immediately exits his vehicle, ignores verbal commands, retrieves a long, dark, cylindrical item from his truck bed and points it “barrel-first” at you, are you going to just sit there and wait for him to kill you??? The best thing we can do is pray for both families… What most ppl outside of the warrior professions don’t know is that once we (humans) perceive a threat to our wellbeing our logical mind takes a mini vacation and we use exclusively our doggy brain until the threat is gone… I had this exact same situation happen to me! The only reason I didn’t put a half pound more pressure on the trigger is because (1) the elderly man was moving a little more slowly, and (2) the elderly man I stopped didn’t face me with his cane… SC should just pay all medical bills and compensate Mr.Canipe… I hope this results in a learning experience for citizens…

    To Whom It May Concern:

What God was that crying safety pastor/hero swearing to? Whatever God it may be. Fuck that God. Fuck his Creation. Fuck all who would willing render anything to that God. And fuck all who happily render anything unto Caesar.

What kind of @$$hold God commands people to pay for @$$holes to pull them over on the road in the first place?

If that’s the kind of world you support. Why not use patrol drones instead. Drones with public cams. Then there need be no fear. As long no one violates any of your God’s commandments, you’ll all be safer with a sky full of patrol bots. That’s today’s good word anyway, as best I can understand and convey your mentality.

Fuck your God. Fuck your one world United Nations Church. Fuck your one world sacred gospel of pulling people over on the road in any nation for any reason. Fuck your church. Fuck your steeple. Fuck your people. You fucking fuckers.

  3. Well obviously the old coot didn’t have enough sense not to commit the crime of not staying in his vehicle on a public road. I’m pretty sure it’s a felony to get out of your vehicle to see what’s wrong when the police stop you nowadays. It’s probably even a capital crime by now; something like premeditated attempted potential for threatening of occifer safety and possession of a walking assistance device with intent to ambulate. Heck, the old coot had it coming didn’t he, clover?

    • Hi Boothe,

This is one thing that’s completely changed over the past 20 or so years. I recall when I was in college in the ’80s routinely getting out of my car after being pulled over and walking over to the cop car to discuss the stop. This was SOP – in those days – and I did it blithely, because (in those days) you could do this without risking your life or even a beating.

Cops have become hair-trigger pussies who see “threats” at every turn – and rather than man up and wait for an actual threat to manifest before gunning someone down, gun harmless people down and screech “officer safety!” In this particular case, the “hero” could clearly see the guy he pulled over was a wobbly old man. How likely is it that a wobbly old (and white) man is going to draw a gun on a cop over a minor traffic stop? And how does a walking stick in any way resemble a shotgun? Is the “hero” blind – or just looking for an excuse to execute someone under color of law?

Aren’t “heroes” and “warriors” (the newest loathsome term they seem to like) supposed to be fearless? And willing to risk their lives for the sake of innocents?

      • Dear Eric,

The “better safe than sorry” policy (at the expense of our lives) is sheer insanity.

Leave aside the fact that they are murdering us in cold blood for the moment. The fact is, it won’t even do what the LEOs hope it will do, i.e., “ensure officer safety.”

The more the LEOs attempt to “ensure officer safety” by sacrificing our lives as if they were worth nothing, the more civilians will start doing the same to them in order to ensure “civilian safety.”

And as Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu learned the hard way, there are more of us than there are of them.

        • From Boondock Saints:
          And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.

Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.

So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti. [In name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.]

Key scene: Il Duce is THE assassin / killer. Yakavetta hired him to deal with a “problem” caused by Conner and Murphy.

[Fire alarm goes off, all three cock their weapons, II Duce jumps behind Yakavetta and puts his shotgun to his head. Conner and Murphy jump onto tables]
Connor: Now you will receive us.
Murphy: We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
Connor: We do not want your tired and sick.
Murphy: It is your corrupt we claim.
Connor: It is your evil that will be sought by us.
Murphy: With every breath we shall hunt them down.
Connor: Each day, we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.
Murphy: Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal, these are principles that every man of every faith can embrace.
Connor: These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
Murphy: There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.
Connor: For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three. And on that day, you will reap it.
Murphy: And we will send you to whatever god you wish.
[Murphy and Conner join II Duce behind Yakavetta]
Connor, Murphy, Il Duce: And shepherds we shall be, For thee my lord for thee. Power has descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
          Il Duce: In nomine Patri
          Connor: Et Fili
          Murphy: Spiritus Sancti
          <i?[they execute Yakavetta]

Il Duce, BTW, is Connor and Murphy's Father….

          ////
Hope no one minds the religious overtones: “attending” evil is something people are called to, pretty much across all faiths.
We’ve simply been wussified and collectivized so much, we’ve forgotten what is and is not EVIL, that there IS a line that must not be crossed – and that good men CAN do despicable things, yet remain good men.

Anyone else heard, “Coward of the County?”

  4. Clover, South Carolina. I drove thru there all the time on the way to York and Rock Hill, SC. Egads. It never dawned on me before.

Can you imagine having to live in a town of the Clovers, by the Clovers, for the Clovers?

King Lincoln addresses the Clover thrall and praises eternal government at Gettysburg:

Lincoln got the idea of Government of the people by the people for the people from Wycliffe and his declaration that the people should read his [bogus collectivist] bible translation in their own language.
    – – – –

John Wyclyffe quote upon completion of the first translation of the bible into Clover-Peasant-Babble lingo known as English:

“This Bible is for the government of the people, by the people and for the people.”

    • The Gettysburg Address was hallucinatory. Government “of the people, for the people and by the people”? Wasn’t that what the Southern people wanted – i.e., to govern themselves, or at least, to be governed by others like themselves – and were forcibly denied?

      Nauseating yankee-speak.

Of a piece with “bringing freedom” to the world.

      • Benevolent and Hallucinatory. That’s the world I was raised in. It was never aggressive Yankee style hallucinations you tried to forcibly impose on others.

It was the Yankees who contrived the “Southerners” in the first place. Without imagined northern treachery and deceptionism, such an animal would never have been born.

In the Upper Great Lakes of yesteryear one just kind of sussed out what the fantasies of the day were, and then commenced with the tall tales and the dreamspeak.

In the hallways there was “freckle by the eye” girl. Every time she touched already enlarged freckle, it doubled in size, eventually it was bigger than she was and began to terrorize us all.

The worst of us was designating one girl as so fat, we pretended there were earthquakes at her every step. The lanky skinny kid who was made to contort himself into letters of the alphabet on command. The early developed girl who breasts were relentlessly grabbed. No class concepts, except by sex and age of course.

Jumping off the swingset at apogee and seeing who could launch the farthest. Then cheating by pretending to roll further and further across the schoolyard.

AfterschooI, there were hours of conversations with my best friend. I had BIgfoot in my underground bunker, he had Abominable Snowman in his lair. Each of us topping the other’s escapades in intricate detail.

In the US, it is the Yankee NE that is the powerful home counties of England. And local office of world dominant London-English Banking.

Great lakes and Midwest are like irrelevant Wales. The South is like the oppressed Scotland and genocided Ireland of Great Britain. The upper far west is Canada. The lower far west is Australia.

      • Lincoln made up “Government of the people, by the people and for the people” from whole cloth. The Founding Fathers’ point of view was “A government of laws, not of men.” That way you knew what to expect. And when they said “laws” they meant principles like non-agression, not “malum prohibitum” laws where something is wrong ONLY because some gunverment says so.
