Stormtroopers… sigh…

It’s become so routine to see battle-clad “hero” cops – indistinguishable from the “troops” – occupying American cities that most people hardly notice, much less care.

This – public nonchalance – ought however to greatly concern anyone not addled by high fructose corn syrup and a steady diet of Fox News.

The “troops” are fighting for freedom.dancing Clover

But not our freedom.

They are fighting to be free to treat us like indigs – i.e., indigenous population. The niggers (sand and otherwise) who are to be subdued, stomped, cuffed, caged, Tazered and ventilated as necessary to ensure obedience.

The evil roots of this this dark plant go back to The Chimp and his coterie of “shock and awe” thugs – Rummy, and Wolfie and Perle and The Dick. It was they who upended 2,000 years of Western civilization, who gave us torture as policy, who shat all over the idea that human individuals have any rights whatsoever when it impedes their flesh-rending lust for absolute domination.

The milquetoast puppet in the White House today is merely carried along by the inertia.

What this country has become is a function of what its people have become.

Supine, fearful, obedient – and most of all, amoral.

They want to feel “safe” – and don’t care who gets stomped.

It’s enough to make a man throw up.

If only there were more men.

  2. A lot of your body is an uncharted continent right within your own genetic information. 20 percent of genetic information in your nose is terra incognita. Your gut is 40 or 50 percent biological dark matter. There’s so much of you that hasn’t even begun to be classified yet.

If the planet were a democracy, viruses would win the popular vote. Though unknown a little over a hundred years ago, they are the forms of life that make up most of the genetic information on our planet. Those who would talk disparagingly about them, are merely part of the minor oppositional view, and not really all that important. A hundred years from now, people may marvel that we were perhaps completely unaware of a new class of life that were literally right under our noses all along.

But still, a great thought provoking article from the guy that made all the world’s central banks obsolete via PayPal, and then they cheated and forced him to sell to Ebay and revert to being just another schmuck.

  4. Interesting little thread here. What does MARKET say? isn’t that the libertarian gold standard, Tor?
I see lots of attempts to have market under some kind of tacit control – intellectual property, so to speak, all controlled through some kind of “coding,” some bit-theory DNA, maybe. It all seems so contrary to ideals of libertarianism.
Face it, the internet has indeed made the concept of intellectual property very difficult to enforce. What will people pay for content? Depends on the market, right? And, those with the gold make the rules. Funny, Warner Bros. doesn’t have any trouble paying for their movies, shit though they are.

    • This is just a belief, DR. But here goes:

The ones that could have the gold. Sometimes they obtain the gold, sometime they hold other things.

In a world leaning increasingly towards Aristocracy of Pull, and away from Aristocracy of Gold; I’d assert that’s it’s better stated: He with the Pull Makes the Rules.

Celebrity is pull. Attractiveness especially for females is pull. Demonstrable prowess for males is pull. Being high born, privately educated, in on the secret knowledge is pull. Being connected to the state is pull. Being strong and physically dominant is pull. Having an arsenal of weapons. Having a team of henchman. Having a city at your command either legally, or in an underworld way is pull.
Being renowned for your talent is pull. Knowing how to make things is pull. Knowing esoteric scientific procedures is pull.

Gold is just one of many forms of pull. Nationstates are able to print gold in effect, backing this fools gold with the promise of future plunder of their tax payers.

For some men, the greatest force of pull is biological. THe mother of your children has pull.

An attractive female in estrus or simulating same, literally pulls of a portion of the male anatomy towards her, she who pulls the boners gets the gold and many times has a soft power that trumps all else and has the greatest pull of all.

      • Tor, I just have to comment on one thing. When you say “Having a city at your command either legally, or in an underworld way is pull.” Just what does that mean? Really? What is “legal”? I’ve tried to figure this out my entire life. I understand “moral” but “legal” escapes me. Having been on both sides, as I understand it, I see nothing moral in either, necessarily, esp. from those who deem themselves “legal”. Those who have “morals” are often simply Free Market libertarians. In my experience, “underworld” is almost always much more “moral” than the “legal” side. “legal” is theft of almost anything and everything but underworld is nearly completely “free market” in most every way. Just my observation.

        • Rating:Mature

Underworld, said Humpty Dumpty in sly oozing British accent atop his St Floyd the Pink’s Sacred Wall, is whatever the hell I say it is.

Also rebalance all your hormones and throw in some implants and lipo till you look real proper lady-like all for 20 federal reserve menthol kools nice and legal-like. Week later you’ll be shacking up with a rough 18 year old trick named Jim up in Kodiak Alaska and he and your other workmates, no one need be the wiser.

Should your late twenties aged son meet his soul mate, a nice 17.5 year girl from his church. Or maybe a millionaire in his 50s wants a nice second filipino wife to keep around and drops a 1/2 million on her and flies her stateside in his Gulfstream and his wife reluctantly agrees cause she’s worn out and in her 60s and truly does love him, so fuck it.

And then have the wrong sort of clover lawraper witness either of the last two heinous illegalities. Well that’s going to require caging, many thousands of fed reserve menthol kools, and a long lifetime felony rapsheet and joblessness and being on a list until the day he dies.

Or look at the evil warmongering germans, italians, or japanese, who have some of the freest societies. Smartest populations. Highest levels of innovations and arts. Truly great breeds of folks.

But they were and might again be the bad guys. Because Britain made arrangements with its Sockpuppet Commonwealth of 800 nations to block their ports, cut off their oil, and impoverish and starve their people, but didn’t get caught. Theet ull lull theet ull leet that’s politics folks.

          • A brief riposte to your cynical babble, composed by pieces from H. L. Mencken’s own words. I claim credit only for stitching them together in logical order, the words are obviously NOT mine.

“The one permanent emotion of the inferior man is fear – fear of the unknown, the complex, the inexplicable. What he wants above everything else is safety.”
So “[t]he whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”
This means, “[t]he most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out… without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.”
Because “[a]n idealist is one who, on noticing that roses smell better than a cabbage, concludes that it will also make better soup.”
Which explains why, “[t]he worst government is often the most moral. One composed of cynics is often very tolerant and humane. But when fanatics are on top there is no limit to oppression.”
“It is inaccurate to say that I hate everything. I am strongly in favor of common sense, common honesty, and common decency. This makes me forever ineligible for public office.”
But, “[o]n some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”
And finally, as a result of all the preceding, “[e]very normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.”

And obviously, Tor, this scrawl wasn’t too complex, and I have time today. 😉 The way things are going, we must all get a good dose of Soma, “lie back, breathe the gas”… And melt back into blissful Matrix oblivion.
Or rage, rage, against the dying of the light…

  5. You guys are all right on the ball with the chimp being financial ground zero.

Somewhere around the first Gulf War the Aristocracy of Pull became the main course. And the Pursuit of Profit became just a side dish.

Probably because the whole thing was a smoke screen to start funneling trillions to offshore locations to fight this HUGE MAJOR WAR. The one that of course fizzled out, and could have probably been won by a single platoon of Zionist Israelis for a couple of million and some remainder merchandise Uncle Sam had laying around.

This was the real Cloward & Piven knock out blow that broke America, where fear and sentiment is brought to a high boil and everybody goes running off to the latest hooligasmic spectacle while everyone’s bank accounts are drained absolutely dry.

We’d been softened up earlier by the body blows of the Challenger Explosion killing the space dream, the murder of Princess Diana ending the UK Camelot. New Country in the jukebox empowering femnist chicks and metrosexuals to invade one’s favorite Honky Tonk dives.

Reagan Tax Code changes had already decimated the Midwest for nearly all small and midsized business owning families. Now all the financing dried up overnight as banks switched into war machine mode.

Clinton came in and it was over. Here’s a Mao Type Polymath genius on three illegal stimulants at once who started tweaking levers and policies and greasing everyone’s wheels for a last hurrah.

Everyone burned thru their last bit of seed corn to keep the party going. Then the Jaws of the Death Tax Trap started snapping shut on the millionaires and the concentrated wealth started hemorraghing off shore like a crimson tide you could see from space.

They just kept printing paper to cover all the real assets leaving. Now all the sudden the wealthy in other countries found they could buy premium American real estate and business for pennies on the dollar and they all did so.

So the bubble reinflates and its all still seems workable, though everyones deep in debt and strapped for cash now, but at least real estate and wall street paper is up, so they have still have paper wealth.

The Wolves of Wall Street descended, I remember if you had an American Express card and $100K you could park somewhere you could daytrade nonstop for no brokerage fees. Wheeeee!

Then the gov sued Microsoft for making a profit, and everything went completely south. The tech bubble popped. Even tech industries with no state side wealth had to bug out, lest they get pinched by the DOJ and the Aristocracy of Pull was now twice the size of the tiny free market Pursuers of Profits.

And everyone just sat around in their trucks listening to Limbaugh, cause damn, America was fucked. We could all see that now. A jollier fat Hitler with the message of truth but this time, not a call to action.

The rich already had everything in motion. They were scrambling to reduce or eliminate their American footprint. NAFTA was sucking all the jobs that couldn’t easily be offshored to the Canadian and Mexican border boomtowns.

Suddenly everything British was clearly better. And Cancun was the worlds biggest party and there was no money for US parties if you tried to throw one they stopped by and started an cash extraction procedure on you, how dare you afford to party.

Not long after Microsoft and Tech imploded, 9/11 happened. And now there was only the Aristocracy of Pull. Everything capitalism was a robot voice on a phone. Or a foreign customer service helper.

Waiting for a part to be deliver somewhere because noone in America did what you needed or built what you wanted anymore. Now it was dozens of Limbaugh clones, everyone just listened to news. Just like in Hitler days, when the krauts all sat there glued to their sets 24/7.

It was all wrong but noone understood why. That we had been picked clean, and all our imagined wealth was on paper. Once you subtracted the wealth from the debts there was only a few dozen trillion left.

All the gold and silver is in India China and in some tax haven no one’s sure where. There’s nothing here. Everythings on line. Places like Switzerland, France, and Japan extract everything we create their and distribute it to their citizens for free. Not even a crime for them.

They come here because their currency’s so strong, and come away appalled at what happened. Soon they’ll even repossess the feather in Yankee Doodle’s cap. It probably won’t be a big deal.

There’s still as much wealth as ever. But a lot of its virtual. Or electronic. Just so much cyberplasma, electrons, and wireless and wave transmissions and shit. Nothing is lost, we still have it all plus new stuff. But what we used to own outright, is now just a holographic version of it.

No one’s succeeding thru industrial innovation here. Just Aristocracy of Pull. Of facilitators of wealth extraction to the offshore jet set who still appreciate helping hands and fawning adorers and caretakers.

Or the new socialist freegan economy. Where everyone gets everything for free. No one pays anyone for anything. And we’re all deathly afraid to look behind the curtain and see the horrible truth behind what’s really going on. And what’s now walking down the corridor and about to arrive any day now.

It’s a disaster when looked at thru any of the usual metrics. To move forward, we’re going to have to redefine everything and decide from scratch how we want to proceed from here.

    • Tor, you summed it up nicely and completely. I remember doing grunt work in the oil field. Now, local guys are too fat and lazy to lit a shovel or pick so oil companies have to import Mexican labor, the only ones who still know how to handle a shovel. Give us a few more years though and there’ll be tiny, tiny backhoes that can reach and drop just the right amount of dirt or rock or dig out that tiny portion so a pipe, vessel, etc. can be laid properly. We’ll have really tiny power hammers so no picks will be needed and everyone will have screens to see what they’re doing since they won’t be able to see over their huge guts. It’s all so depressing.

I recently helped the boss dig some holes and set some pipe saddle supports for high pressure gas lines. I was just on the scene delivering rock and the boss was trying to get it done. A couple of young men actually pitched in, hard to believe, and did some of that grunt work. The 30 and 40 year olds were doing their best to avoid any physical labor and actually took turns, cause it hurt them so bad to continuously operate the single backhoe on the site, poor babies.

One of the young guys said he was going to be a trucker when he got his legal problems worked out. The other said nothing since he has no idea how His legal problems are going to go and he doesn’t have a great deal of ambition. And here is this other part of the equation, everybody with something hanging between their legs and a great deal who don’t have “legal” problems since every damned thing you can imagine is illegal. And legal problems are not just confined to the younger crowd either. Nearly everybody out there has some sort of legal problem. So what does the state do but make it more difficult for them to make a living, pay off whatever fines they owe or keep a DL so it’s a never-ending nightmare for everybody but the judicial and LEO bunch who are laughing all the way to the insolvent bank. Meanwhile, every incompetent lawyer in the land is over-run with clients. Not difficult to see where this is going.

      Well, I’m off for an MRI….sure hope it’s not a pass/fail thing.

      • Let me know if you want me to find the answer key on the internet, 8Southie!

Things aren’t going to change the way I want them too, I’m thinking. Maybe that’s OK.

You’ve got your religion about wanting to breathe. Eric’s got his religion about not freeloading on the internet, even tho it’s perfectly legal in Switzerland and lots of other places. The majority here has some kind of generalized religion about staying within a robotic protocol of decorum, even if it means nothing to you.

We’re all doomed because of our splintered religious differences.

Meanwhile the guys at the top are all in lockstep unison in their belief systems of religious sacrifices. Our lives being the things they think should be sacrificed on their altars.

First we need to find the way backward. Those like you that have all those old memories about the richness and possibility are leaving this fleeting pail all the time.

We need a secure encrypted archive of all the crucial knowhow and social philosophies and ways of cooperating with each other. Maybe even just a big old New World Talmud would do it.

Then to go forward we need a more technical and straightclear way of saying exactly what we mean. And no more chiming in on each other and wasting time about any of us being rude, disgusting, scary, crazy, antisocial and what have you.

We all know how high our regard is and how we really feel about each other here. But for now, a lot of what we write is going to get everybodies hackles into red faced agitation.

We’ll have to just pound a little harder on our keyboards, maybe get the old metal kind that can really take abuse so we can get thru it and learn and do the necessary spontaneous meeting of minds and giving birth to ideas when it needs doing.

May those who can soothe and maintain bridges and mend fences continue to do so as we unclusterfuck this mess.

Most important what other things might people pay Eric for, so we keep the meter in the green. Pay for components online plus a $ markup and have Eric assemble them and ship them to you. Maybe you’ve always wanted a Theremin or a Hexapod Robot.

How hard is it to build speed detectors at home. Or whatever else like receiving/transmitting radios and so much else for survival reasons. Surveillance. Alarms. Remote controllers. None of here need fancy exteriors or nameplates do we, just functionality.

I can’t help the way english works. I’m not critiquing anyone or trying to say my beliefs are worth believing either. I just know we used to be so much more just a 1/2 generation ago. Looking back several generations its even more diminutive.

Back to the subject of leeching content on the internet. (still not the same as stealing you neighbors chickens) More like holding up an Ipad 50 yards away from someone’s chicken, pressing a button and having a living 3D printed copy of the chicken born alive on your property and available for distribution to anyone in the world with the same Ipad app.

How will we deal with one button duplication tho? Terry Gilliams movie cost him $13 million. He started filming 1.75 years ago and he’s only made 1/2 million so far.

The site I got it from (yes for free) has 33 comments. So multiply that by 10 or 100 or whatever the ratio of traffic to comments usually is.

Johann in Zürich gets drunk, pays a few Euros, makes a copy and puts it on a storage site. Then puts the links to the stored file on the various pirate interface sites, and boom, he earns back his ticket price and then some.

Hundreds or thousands watch it throughout the world, and pay nothing to Gilliam for it. This is nice. This is naughty. I think we all have pretty solid convictions on this one way or another.

But what technically is to be done. It’s not illegal in Zürich to do this, so do you have goons patrolling the theater. Do you put up posters telling all the kids their blasphemous sinners and Jesus is angry at them. Do you try to get their goat the way a clover tries to get a speeder or drink and drivers goat.

Speeding and leeching are different. But not scientifically so. At least not yet, as we’ve only made political, ethical, moral, arguments for not doing this.
It’s of importance to discuss this. Reach a consensus for our phyle perhaps even.

But what’s most crucial, is a scientific approach for how do we cooperate with each other in a workable way from now on.

I would call people who object to making unpaid copies Laborists. They make a claim that Labor deserves to be paid.

Capitalism demands that you take tangible market actions to deal with things. Only trying to make non-Laborists feel bad about themselves is a losing strategy. Okay as a backup, but the crucial thing is to innovate to a new equilibrium where this doesn’t happen in the future with too much frequency.

Old school businessmen came to need lawyers. Body guards.

New school writers, moviemakers, song producers need tech IP guards. Tech theft mitigators. Ways to embed their creator’s DNA in every page, in every frame, in every soundwave capture.

Maybe it embeds pixels and code that includes ads that pay the content creator. And that these ads increase. And that the files degrade over time and repeated use. Or whatever.

Crucially it needs these innovators and Laborers to be market actors, not as something you’re forced to go to the state for. Nature has cuckoo birds. The internet has usurping cuckoo users.

There has to be a way. Perhaps our solving this, while statists stick with cages and robberies by revenue collectors will help us leapfrog and transcend the state. Or at the least, it might help some of our best earn a decent living creating new content for others.

Even Terry Gilliam with all his market power can’t make his money back on a fairly decent film? We have to do some triage to capitalism, and stat!

      • Tor, thanks for the offer. Even in my old age I’m one hell of a shooter…..and it doesn’t matter what I’m holding. So I’d ask you only one favor. The “next time” they come to call, give me a 15 minute warning and I’ll owe you forever….and forever won’t be long. I can take care of the rest even though everything I love will be destroyed but I can take just a little bit of something knowing I have made them pay the ultimate price too. For me, it ain’t about coming out on top or even coming out at all, it all boils down to giving more than I get. I can do that. My point is, can everybod…….., will everybody else do that? Don’t they understand what the end result will be? No, they don’t. They’ll find out too late and then eventually say “Shit, now I see what 8 was speaking of…..but it won’t happen again this way”. Yes, it will, unless you’re committed to the nth degree and pay attention to the same.

So many say they’ll stand and be counted regardless of the outcome. That’s a hard row to hoe, take it from a hoer. My life is over. I am a dead man walking. I know this, I accept this but I’ll never roll over for it. Even the wife says she’ll pass the ammunition. Poor CJ, he won’t ever know why, just like his predecessor, Buck…..and Buck took every round head on, never tried to turn, just took it all.

          • Hmmm….
            “Speak softly…..
            Carry a big stick….
And kill them all with explosives while they look at the big stick.”

Not quite the same, but it DOES have a wonderful ring to it! 😀

  6. It used to bother me to see these copsters in full battle rattle taking up space and generally making asses of themselves. Then I realized that it is simply part of the natural progression of a civilization in terminal decline where the enforcement of written law, applicable or not, takes precedence over keeping the peace through non-violent means. Those in presumed “authority” must do all that they can to make the Clovers FEEL safe for as long as they can. The fact that the copsters are far more likely to murder a Clover or innocent bystander by taking a combat mentality (us vs them, civilian vs “trooper”, etc.) to keeping the peace will not dawn on the majority of men until very late in the process. Sad, but that is the nature of man.

    • Agreed, FA.

For me, the question is not how to “save” the United State.

It is how to survive the inevitable disintegration of it – and how to go about rebuilding in the aftermath.

      • Eric:

That is exactly the question. How to survive and rebuild in the aftermath.

Self-reliance, viable free enterprises and tradable skills is my approach. Energy, beyond wood, is the weak link since I don’t have an oil well handy.

    • The Chimp is just one link in a long chain of frauds and conmen.

From my perspective, you need to go back to George Washington and his decision to call out the Army and local militia to use violence to enforce his whiskey “excise” tax on land that the U.S. government had no legitimate claim to. Had the “rebels” understood the scam that had been perpetuated on the public by him and his co-conspirators in 1787 they may have taken a different approach.

      • Agreed, FA.

But The Chimp poured gas on what had been a smoldering fire…. the flames illuminating for anyone with eyes to see that the police state is now brazenly in the open.

He literally said “Fuck you” to the Bill of Rights. And to us.
