  1. He’s on paid administrative leave.

I might consider voluntarily paying a portion of taxes to place all law enforcement officers on paid administrative leave.

  2. What a bunch of disgusting zombies on every side of this story. I honestly don’t care about a single one of any of them. Go eat a bag of dicks, cage keepers, and cage cuck fan boys, or don’t. Makes no difference to me.

You’re only dealt so many hands in life, and your best bet, is to make the most of every deal, whatever cards you have to play with.

    • Every cop is a criminal (apologies to Keith Richards). By definition. Every single cop abuses innocent people as a matter of routine; it is their job.

They will retort that the people they abuse (whom they do not believe they’ve abused) broke the law.

      True enough, perhaps.

But that fact (the breaking of laws) says nothing about harms caused – and so, is a non sequitur and an evasion.

“The law” does not automatically confer moral sanction. It is just an edict, a legalism.

If you harm innocent people (innocent being defined as people who’ve not hurt you or anyone else by their actions) then you are morally guilty.

A criminal – in the proper sense of the term.

Scandinavian police might deserve their assigned titles. Besides isn’t a great deal of their economy planned, such that police workers aren’t any different than construction workers or anyone else.
