  1. Unlike Mike in Boston and Swamprat, although Trump is a weeping pustule on the ass of our country, he’s the natural progression to which we’ve been heading since the Articles of Confederation were trashed and replaced by Hamilton’s Revenge, aka the Constitution.

    I wish I had the answer but, so long as you have an institution, GovCo, that is a perfect instrument for sociopaths, authoritarians and tyrants this is what you get.

  2. July 4th is a national day of mourning as far as I’m concerned, maybe crack open a beer and reflect upon everything we’ve lost in my 78 years here. The only thing worth celebrating will be when Treasonous Trump exits the living, preferably by hanging for treason, but even that is too much to hope for.

  3. it’s quite interesting that no one is really even talking about the “democracy” being 250 years old.

    Trump has ruined any sense of national unity and purpose. Many presidents have, but this guy is particularly egregous.
