It Began With Nixon

What’s going on right now began with Nixon.

Unloved by the people who actually run (as opposed to fronting) the federal government, Nixon was removed from office by one of them, with assistance from many others. The man was Mark Felt, better-known by his alias, “Deep Throat.” He was deputy assistant director of the FBI and passed over by Nixon for the top spot. For this – and not for anything else that merited it – Nixon had to pay.

Not for creating arguably one of the most pernicious federal “agencies” – as the tentacles of the federal apparat are styled. The one he added being the Environmental Protection Agency, which stopped protecting the environment about 30 years ago and since that time has been using that excuse to protect itself and its power to “regulate” – i.e., effectively dictate – which kinds of vehicles Americans will be allowed to buy and how much it’s going to cost them.

Not for setting in motion the transition of the medical profession into the “health care” industry – via Health Maintenance Organizations. Which never “maintained” anyone’s “health” but did vastly enrich the “health care” industry at the expense of countless millions of people’s health. As well as at their expense, on top of that. Instead of paying to see the doctor, people now pay for coverage. You can thank Nixon for that.

His inheritors simply made it mandatory.

Nixon also went to China – as if legitimizing and colluding with the mass-murdering Communists who controlled that country was a good thing for the people of this country. You can see the results for yourself – at Wal Mart.

And everywhere else.

Nixon was able to “open the door” – as it was styled, favorably – because Nixon was portrayed as anti-Communist and “tough.” This shut up anti-Communist conservatives – who would have been much harder to silence if, say, it had been a “liberal” who went to China. Just as conservatives in our time have been silent for the most part about the Orange Man’s “warp speeding” of those “beautiful” drugs that were never vaccines into pre-arranged existence (no new drug gets developed from scratch in a matter of mere months).

There is also the business of de-coupling the dollar from any connection to gold – thereby eviscerating the value of the dollar, which has become nearly worthless relative to what it was worth before Nixon. It is no accident that since Nixon, the cost of living has gone ballistic – in tandem with the devaluation of the buying power of the now-entirely-fiat dollar corrupted by Tricky Dick into a mere piece of paper and worth not much more than that.

Nixon, in simple terms, deserved the opprobrium he’s been draped with. He was a crook – and worse than that. Crooks, after all, generally only take money under false pretenses. Nixon took something much more valuable than money from the American people. He took away much of what what was once America.

But that is not why he was ignominiously obliged to resign his office in 1974.

Nixon was ousted by an internal coupe engineered by federal apparatchiks such as Mark Felt, who fed scurrilous information to a pair of useful idiot stenographers working for The Washington Post, the American iteration of Pravda. They revealed in a series of articles that Nixon lied.

Oh, the humanity!

As if Nixon – as if any politician, ever – told the truth.

And the lies he told were to “cover up” routine election shenanigans undertaken by underlings on his behalf prior to the 1972 presidential election, which Nixon won easily. There was the famous break-in at the Watergate Hotel, where the underlings rifled through the desks of Democrat Party offices. As if such things were never done before by the underlings of both parties.

But it served as the means for getting Nixon, who – like the Orange Man – was useful to the people who actually run the government but had outlived his usefulness. Or had annoyed the wrong people, which amounts to the same thing. So, they got Nixon – on a technicality. Not for anything substantive, such as his creation of a Golem-like federal “agency” that has no plausible constitutional legitimacy. Not for “opening the door” – to America – for Communist China.

Not for turning medicine into a money-grubbing cartel that now owns the government, having acquired the money to pay for it.

Not for doing to the value of the dollar what was done to the value of the Deutschmark in Weimar-era Germany and probably assuring a similar fate will shortly befall this country.

Those crimes being the ones we’re not supposed to notice.

Similarly, Orange Man has never been charged with the crimes he committed while in office, including but not limited to the “warp speeding” of those “beautiful” drugs subsequently pushed on millions of people, many of whom were effectively forced to take them – in particular, those in the military, whom Orange Man pretends to love so very much.

Instead, he has been pursued with Inspector Javert-like relentlessness over nonsense such as “defaming” a woman who publicly claimed (but never proved) she was sexually assaulted by the Orange Man some 30 years ago. And for overstating the value of his holdings, but “defrauding” no one.

Not because he defrauded the American people.

It’s all for sure, in other words. And it all began a long time ago.

  1. All jew controlled meat puppets except JFK and look what they did to that poor bastard. We are in dire straits and voting ain’t gonna change a fuckin thing.

  2. LONG Before Nixon, Lincoln started the decimation of our Constitution. Wilson increased the decline. Roosevelt accelerated the decline. Nixon was a victim of the one-world-government-promoters who are now ready to end our Constitutional Republic and take CONTROL!

    • Hi Capt Mack,

You’re right about Lincoln and Wilson, of course. But Nixon was no victim, though he liked to play the part. He victimized us – as Republicans have a habit of doing. The Left (“Democrats”) does the same, of course. But the Left doesn’t pretend to be “conservative.”

      Whatever that means!

  3. Former policeman, Gary Waterman, exposes a huge government fraud …

illegal practices at Company House…a huge web of limited companies used for fraud…. and fraud in the company registration process, fraud involving tax collection and tax uses, tax money disappearing into offshore accounts, fraud in the swift system, connections to Epstein, crooked politicians, etc…..

  4. A major beef i had with Nixon was the 55 mph speed limit. He was definnitely a true believer in it.

A long time ago, when doing research on the 55 mph speed limit at the Fort Worth public library, i ran across some trade periodical that mentioned Nixons transportation secretary John Volpe suggesting that we needed to cut highway speed limits to 55 mph to reduce fatalities and insurance premiums as well as to discourage driving. I tried to copy it but it was on microfiche. I had trouble operating the machine. That was all suggested in the fall of 71 or 72 as i remember. I know it was well before the oil embargo.

In the late spring of 73, Nixons administration was urging states to cut speed limits back to save gas as the country was beginning to experience spot gas shortages likely due to the ongoing price controls. Gas prices hit an all time high of 40 cents a gallon in some areas.

1973 was a long hot summer and things were about to get worse. Fortunately, we were able to enjoy that last few months of freedom before the arabs shut off the go juice and Nixon cut the fun.

  5. In reality, it all started with G. Washington. He decided a few Pennsylvania farmers had it too easy. They could not be allowed to turn their corn into something to drink, and not pay taxes on the product. They decided he could go pound sand. But he pounded them instead.

  6. I despised Nixon at the time, but, as young and and lacking in knowledge as I was at the time, I felt that Republicans were wrong to force him out of office because of the precedent it set over relatively insignificant wrongdoing. As I look back now, it seems to me that a number Republicans may have regarded him with disdain the same way a lot of Republicans regard President Trump. Luckily for President Trump, his detractors seemed to think it was political suicide to vote him out of office through impeachment. If Nixon had made them conduct a trial, Trump may have never had to endure the outrageous assaults from Democrats, and Nixon may have survived.

  7. One more thing. Nixon cleverly took a lot of the air out of the Viet Nam anti-war movement by instituting the draft lottery in 1969. Men who got a “good” number stopped going to demonstrations – although there were enough of them to shut down the universities when Nixon bombed Cambodia and the National Guard shot Kent State students.

  8. Yet, as horrible and insane as it sounds, I would likely prefer putting Nixon in place of anyone we have had since. An exception might be Reagan, who was a disappointment to me. I guess I cussed him out more than I cussed out Johnson. I guess I might give him a nod over Nixon only because his heart, if not his actions, were in the right place.

(For you geezers out there, I drove Frank Reynolds in the Secret Service motorcade when Reagan was in the 1976 primary. A most interesting experience. Pretty much like lap 1 of a NASCAR race. SS comment: “No more than 5′ between cars, no matter how fast we are driving.” Reynold’s comment: “You know that if something happens, I am counting on you to get me there.”)

  9. You didn’t mention that Nixon and his Agriculture Secretary Earl Butz were responsible for much of the cheap, plastic food in American supermarkets today.

  10. I’m afraid you’re wrong: it all began with JFK. The CIA and FBI took out both JFK AND Nixon; they just obliterated Nixon a little more diplomatically. If they’d assassinated him, too, it would have been a little too obvious. You may notice they ousted Agnew as well, and replaced both with un-elected officials. (Gerald Ford was on the Warren Commission cover-up.)

You can see it all here. It’s one of the best things on the Internet. Groubert wrote the screenplay for Oliver Stone and has been in close contact with everyone who’s ever seriously contributed to JFK assassination research:

  11. All I have to say is I want *half* the drugs they gave Bite-me on Thursdays state of disunion address. I’d love to get high and scream at the Marxists to their faces how they destroyed this country then howl at the moon for another hour before going to bed and never remembering what I did.

  12. Hunter Thompson and his thoughts on Richard Nixon, Hunter used both barrels, gave Nixon the heave-ho.

“If the right people had been in charge of Nixon’s funeral, his casket would have been launched into one of those open-sewage canals that empty into the ocean just south of Los Angeles. He was a swine of a man and a jabbering dupe of a president.”

  13. I was 9 years old during the Nixon impeachment farce. At that time, while I knew little of how the world really works, I knew it didn’t make any sense. I already knew that government did whatever it wants. I already knew that there were real crimes that somehow didn’t matter for people in government. Despite the never-ending pearl clutching and couch fainting at the time, I just knew the whole thing was a crock of shit. And I also knew that I didn’t really like Nixon either, so I didn’t care. But I didn’t know the real shit that he had perpetrated, I was just too young, and nobody pointed it out back then.

But the case of Nixon has always been an example for me to measure the ongoing farce of our federal government since that time. By the time we got to Trump, I tried to point out to the Trump worshippers:

    – anything he does that benefits the establishment, they will not give him credit for (and will likely be to our detriment)
    – any real evil (like Clinton, like Bush, like Obama) that he perpetrates will never come into the equation
    – every single thing that they bitterly complain about will be farcical and inconsequential to our lives or the direction of the government
    – the direction of the government will not have any meaningful change if any at all

Trump worshippers didn’t want to hear that then and they certainly don’t want to come to terms with what they mother fucker has done to us and will likely bring in a second term. How people are so fucking retarded, I just can’t wrap my head around.

But having subscribed and read countless very smart dissenting voices on substack, I’m starting to understand that a great deal of what looks like “not right in the head” or “can’t get right” from people these days is actually the result of vaccine injury. And those are primarily the “safe” and traditional vaccines that are actually vaccines not gene therapy.

That’s as “safe” as the medical establishment has ever been and that alone has been destroying the minds of people in this country. This is why people are fucking retarded “on the spectrum”, gender confused, establishment loving lunatics and/or hopelessly manic “patriots” thinking it’s all gonna get fixed by the right guy.

    Aka… an open air assylum.

  14. Don’t forget Nixon’s (in)famous quote “if the president does it, it’s not illegal”. Set the precedent for every wannabe dictator in government, everywhere.

    • “if the president does it, it’s not illegal.”

So one fine day, Orange Man decided to assassinate Qasem Soleimani, a senior military commander of a major Asian power with which the US was not at war. (But Israel hates them, so that’s pretty much dispositive for the Goy-Groveling Golden Golem of Gratuitousness, a/k/a Mr 5G.)

Subsequently an arrest warrant for Trump was issued by an Iraqi court, on a capital charge of premeditated murder. Soleimani was killed in Baghdad after arriving on a regular commercial flight.

Agnès Callamard, UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, concluded that the killing sets an alarming precedent — it was the first targeted drone killing of a senior foreign government official on the territory of a third country.

With the proliferation of drone technology, it is imbecilic to think there won’t be lethal payback against Americans, here and abroad, for Trump’s brazen crime. But the Orange Anal Orifice still beats his bloated man boobs and runs his fool mouth about it. Karma will take care of him some day. 🙂

      • He didn’t sit by and facilitate TWO separate WARS during his presidency nor did he authorize a full scale military invasion of the United States by FOREIGN TERRORISTS as has FJB The drooling derelict!

  15. Nice post Eric. Pretty well covers a chunk of the treasonous bullshit from 1972 on. Nixon saved my ass, and many others, from having to return to Viet Nam from my Osaka Japan hospital break. For that I thank him.

The coup of 1787 by the ‘founders’ led to the States voting away their sovereignty to an inept government controlled by bankers. This inept government bought out by the Northern industrialists passing a killer tariff caused the South to succeed started the war between the States. The 14th amendment illegally ratified due to the Confederate States not yet officially returned to the Union. Thus the federal citizen was born. Persons no longer considered a citizen of the State they were born in.

Causing monetary problems during the last half of the 19th century brought in the Central Bank and the Federal Reserve Note which immediately began to devalue.
To finish off the States hold on Power in the Senate, the 17th amendment was illegally ratified making the Senate nothing more than highfalutant representatives. Then the 16th amendment illegally ratified that made citizens tax slaves. All this in a period of one year.
Lied us into the Spanish American war, WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Serbia, Stealing everything not tied down from Syria.
Today we assist in the genocide of a People that never did anything to us calling them terrorists when they in fact are fighting for their homeland that was robbed from them in 1948. By our own conventions the Palestinians have a right to fight the occupying powers.
Then spending billions, in money and hardware assisting Nazis in Ukraine fighting Russia in order to destabilize Russia in an attempt to steal their resources like we do in Syria.
Our money is worthless,,, our economy is in tatters,,, in debt up to our eyeballs,,, a nation over running of sexual deviants,,, mutilating children,,, allowing and paying millions of illegals money extorted from real citizens having to pay for their replacements with a freshly hired 87,000 IRS agents to ensure they pay.
Soon the illegals will be offered up citizenship to join the federal military to fight….. us. Some idiot in clowngress has already submitted the bill.

    • ken: Soon the illegals will be offered up citizenship to join the federal military to fight….. us. Some idiot in clowngress has already submitted the bill.

Who better to kill off the people who were here before the “migration”?

        • When the slave owner control group invaded Europe and genocided and enslaved the white tribes there…they brought along their own slaves to do the killing….then they went to the Americas later on and did the same thing there…genociding the tribes living there….

Now it looks like slave owner control group…is bringing new slaves (cheaper more compliant ones), to replace the existing slaves…..in the Americas, Europe, etc….

What does white boy do?….change color and join Islam?……..

White man has been a slave longer then anyone, but gets blamed for everything wrong in the world….the scapegoat….

  16. All of us are criminals now. I know in my heart its not true as I don’t rape, murder, or steal. The EPA however would have a different idea about me if they know what went into my organic garden. Of course when I take herbs, and veggies to people, or to the famers market I cant say “organic.” That title is reserved for someone willing to pay 10grand to be certified. And they’ll enforce their monopoly to determine what “Organic’ is with a swat team, if you make them mad.

Its funny the things GovCo cares about and what they don’t. We now live in a clownish world where memes and internet comments are fact checked and ballots are given a pass.

    • Hi Norman,

The Biden Thing made clear the other night who he thinks are criminals or enemies, in addition to who he or his regime have effectively already deemed “Enemies of the State”. Here’s a partial list of them, in no particular order……

      1) The unvaxxed. Biden even threatened people who refused to be guinea pigs for Big Pharma. Remember his threat in 2021 that the unvaxxed “faced a winter of severe illness and death”? That never happened. Instead, Ironically since then, it seemed to be the vaxxed who faced that “Winter of severe illness and death”.
      2) People who are Christians.
      3) The Supreme Court justices who (correctly) overturned Roe v Wade and returned that issue to the states.
      4) People who drive a gas vehicle instead of an EV.
      5) Journalists such as Julian Assange who’ve exposed crimes committed by the U.S. government.
      6) People who voted for Trump.
      7) People who are supporting someone OTHER than Joe Biden, be it RFK Jr, Cornel West, Jill Stein, Vermin Supreme (there’s actually a Presidential candidate with that name), or are UNCOMMITTED.
      8) People who questioned the 2020 election and/ or went to the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.
      9) People who questioned draconian COVID measures such as lockdowns, mask mandates, COVID jab mandates, COVID jabs, etc.
      10) People who don’t buy his endless bull crap on various issues including war, Bidenomics, EVs, demoooooocracy, etc.
      11) Doctors who advocated inexpensive drugs as treatments for COVID instead of the “vaccines”.
      12) People who question the climate change narrative.
      13) People who exposed the various sinister agendas by the Biden regime and the WEF puppets in the regime.
      14) Parents attending schoolboard meetings to protest crap being taught to their children.
      15) Small farms. One example of that would be that Amish farmer in Pennsylvania.
      16) Parents who oppose the transgenderism push targeting their children.

      I’m sure there are others.

      • Anyone who loves freedom, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, God, human decency, morals, justice, American Sovereignty, borders, transparency, justice, science, and the Second Amendment.

        • Ed,

Yep, you’re right. The Biden Thing considers them “Enemies of the State” too, along with people who support medical freedom, e.g. the right to decide what experimental pharma products one takes instead of the government deciding that for them.

      • That is a pretty extensive list John. Staying out of trouble never used to be hard. Deciding which ‘crimes’ rate the highest, is probably going to become a valuable skill.

I sometimes contemplate the billions of fed bucks wasted, trying to indoctrinate me and wash my brain. All the $$$ in the world and they still failed to convince me and a few million others like me to embrace their stupid BS.

        • Hi Norman,

That list may be extensive, but when you consider the fact that the Biden Thing blatantly saw fit to go after seemingly ANYONE who refused to comply with nonsensical government diktats, challenged them or their narratives, etc., it became obvious that the Biden regime considers over half of its own citizens “Enemies of the State”/ “Domestic terrorists”.

      • Hi Plato,

Indeed. But I think we ought to use sex rather than “gender,” which is an oilily fungible term used by the Left to make biological sex fungible (in terms of how they feel about it).

  17. Nixon’s signature is on the moon. Setting aside any questions about the authenticity of the Apollo program of course.

What was Nixon’s role in NASA? What about the Apollo program? He inherited Apollo from Johnson, who inherited it from Kennedy, who noticed a little backwater research agency that was created during the Eisenhower administration and realized it was a fantastic tool for patriotism.

What about closing the gold window? Surely the creation of the Fed wasn’t on his shoulders. Nor was the precedent of the arbitrary valuation of a dollar, from $20/oz of gold to $35/oz during FDR’s reign of terror. And FDRs confiscation of freely circulating gold meant there was no check on paper currency.

Nixon was hated in DC. Remember his concession speech in the 1962 CA governor’s race. He didn’t have loyal people around him (remember the Nixon/Kennedy debate? When they didn’t bother to coach him on how television works? Or get him in proper makeup?) Do you think for a second anyone might have thought to not let him twist in the wind?

I’m certain Nixon wasn’t a great president. But I’d say he’s more a fall guy than anything else. The country squandered the peace dividend by rolling right into an unnecessary Cold War and empire building. Remember the Pentagon was sold to the public as a veteran’s hospital “when the war ended” but they didn’t bother to say which one.

History is repeating itself. The Cold War ended in 1989, and once again, we didn’t get a peace dividend. We still have too large a military, too large a surveillance state, and too much bureaucracy. Like a morbidly obese couch wife, it’s creaking under its own weight. Maybe the leviathan’s knees will hold out a little longer, if she keeps using her walker, but without a complete change of attitude the prognosis isn’t good.

Like Nixon, Trump makes a great excuse for the wheels to fall off. He’s not liked, he’s not politically savvy and he believes he’s a good judge of character. Best of all, he’s a true believer in optimism. Not an optimist per se, but that through his ability and charisma anything is possible. And he’s not wrong, but also blind to the fact that he’s serving a purpose. Those problems have been festering for decades (and in some cases, over a century), but we’ll all act like they just came out of the blue.

The bigger problem is who’s next after Trump? Will it be another Reagan? (I don’t count Carter because he just happened to come along at the right time) Will it be a real tyrant? How will the institutionalized bureaucracy react this time? Why do so many Cassandras continue to point to 2030 as a key date for catastrophe?

  18. The Republic is Dead…back to an absolute monarchy….The new Caliphate….

A new law was passed in France….Article 49.3…king Macron can now pass laws without any other approval….an absolute monarchy… which G7 country is next?

This is why the French slaves are angry, demonstrating…they were proud of their revolution…

King Charles the 3rd wants to go back to an absolute monarchy too….then his power won’t be blocked by a prime minister and parliament….

A lot of presidents and prime ministers are ruling like they are kings already….jamming through laws, acts. mandates, etc…on their own with no debate…..this is probably their preferred system….

      • “Muslim population… making up almost 15 per cent of the total population.”….of Frankfurt….

The American Civil War buffs always remind us of the 3.5% rule. …..
“The 3.5% rule posits that no government can stand up to that share of the population mobilizing against it.”

Can 3.5% of the slaves worldwide… 280 million… rise up against the slave owners?….

    • That is so true, and I’ve mentioned as much to people. Again, this is something that people just don’t want to believe. “Oh, we’re a representative democracy!” they will shout. Bullshit.

We vote for the lords and monarchs which they screen and vet. And even then, the elections which have always had all manner of fraud and manipulation have now degenerated into absolute and complete farce.

The monarch that gets installed in the farcical “executive branch” goes about issuing decrees and violating every principle of representative government. That is so obvious, even if people want to convince themselves that elections are real, how do they get around that?

People even say it directly; they talk about how their new guy, that’s gonna fix everything, is going to install policies and make laws. They know it’s by decree or diktat and they just don’t care.

People say that you get the government that you deserve. No you fucken don’t! You get the government that they insist on installing. Period. What you get the illusion of meaningful participation and nothing more.

Even if the “you get what you vote for” were true, do the millions in the minority, that didn’t vote for it, do they “deserve” what the mob has imposed upon them?! Democracy is a farce! It’s a monarchy in disguise.

    • King Charles the 3rd wants to go back to an absolute monarchy too….then his power won’t be blocked by a prime minister and parliament….king Charles’ royal control group bloodlines…way back…include Muslims….

  19. It began in 1860 with Lincoln, the mass murderer and war criminal who enslaved the entire country while pretending to release slaves.
It continued in 1913 with the corrupt con-gress bought by the banking cartel to create the “Federal Reserve Bank” that allowed the banking cartel to create money from nothing to enrich themselves and steal from everyone else. That same corrupt con-gress also created the 16th amendment under orders from the banking cartel to enslave every productive American to the state and to provide collateral (that’s you) for the Federal Reserve to create endless credit for the fedgov to fight foreign wars against the wishes of the American people.

    • Lincoln was continuing the tradition of imperialism embodied since the Mexican war where we decided it was ok to go to war to get land. Can’t be an empire if we lose 2/3 of the “US”.

Lincoln really did set the wheels of empire into high gear though.

I say the real insurrection occurred with the 17th amendment when the feds cut the states out of the process completely. Since then, the concentration of power and control has been almost complete.

1913 was a very bad year.

  20. Beavers gonna build dams.
    Birds gonna fly.
Political people/voters gonna murder, steal and vandalize.

    These are all just natural.

  21. Got Bitcoin? ,,,And somewhere to go outside the parasitic USA insane asylum?

Pro Tip: Working for a living in a Socialist/Idiocracy society is for the greatest fools. There are two classes in a socialist society…Working fools and nasty parasites. Don’t waste your life, be the parasite!

  22. Eric,

Here are some additions to the Nixon story. One, he signed the bill bringing OSHA into existence. The Dems also went after Nixon because he helped bring down commie spy Alger Hiss; he was also paid back for that, don’t forget.

  23. The EPA has become a corrupt government agency like so many other alphabet soup government agencies over the past several years if not more. They’ll go after gas vehicles, gas stoves, small farmers, and anything else that government doesn’t want people to have, but practically IGNORE or LIE about REAL environmental problems like the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio last year, which government or corporate types then released harmful chemicals from that train into the air and poisoned their water, or the water issues in Flint, Michigan years ago. And where was the EPA on the Lahaina fire in Hawaii last summer? That story, like the East Palestine and Flint stories, appears to have been memory holed by the establishment and establishment media.

Also, for years people on “The Left” bleated about corporate capture of government, and it wasn’t until 2020 that I realized that was actually a thing. But after Joe Biden got into office in 2021, those same people who screeched about corporate capture of government agencies started acting like it’s perfectly fine.

    • As the environment was “cleaned up” the agency wonks needed to come up with more pollution to make sure they still had a job. Like cleaning up your room after letting it go for a while, it might take you an afternoon to bring it back to spick and span. But once everything is back to normal it only takes a few minutes or seconds to maintain that level of cleanliness. The EPA could easily have shrunk itself into a “maintenance mode” size after the big spills were cleaned up, but that would have meant a loss of jobs, and can’t have that!

Worse, for years the mess wasn’t even cleaned up. All the Superfund sites spent years in litigation before cleanup, and I’m fairly certain a large number are still waiting (I tried to check, but looks like the web service is offline…).

But like the Pentagon and all the cold warriors, they needed a permanent enemy. One that was a hair trigger away from destroying all life, and could easily outgun the agency. A justification for all those employees. So they came up with old Sol, and the dread gas CO2. Talk about a forever war!

      • Hi RK,

My late 1990s truck is “cleaner” than any EV out there on the road, given what we KNOW about them. Every time I had to take it to the local Oregon DEQ (Department of Environmental Quality) station for an emissions test to renew registration, it passed the test. I once had a neighbor whose 1999 Ford Taurus FAILED that test because of some computer issue in his car, NOT because the car itself was “dirty”. I can only imagine what kind of emissions tests EVs here have to pass (if any), as the state has decreed that sales of new gas powered vehicles are to be BANNED by 20__, and if people aren’t allowed to buy new gas vehicles, wouldn’t that result in workers at local DEQ stations losing their jobs? Oh wait, bureaucrats at the state DEQ office will probably make new emissions tests for EVs instead of laying off government employees.

  24. To “accuse” a politician of criminal acts is equivalent to accusing a mosquito of biting. It’s the nature of the beast. They are all guilty of it. There’s a reason I typically name them Psychopaths In Charge. They’re insanely criminal.

    • “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime”

Takes one to know one. Politicians are always walking the fine line between Bacchic excess that comes with the ring of power and the Vestian persona that gets them the votes back home.

Thing is, everyone knows they’re voting for crooks (or at least they used to). But they have their “issues” that they won’t budge on no matter what, and that guy they voted for said they have the same issue. Or that their party puts a paragraph into their “platform” about the issue, because the other side put a paragraph stating the opposite in theirs. No one ever considers that issues change, attitudes change, even fundamentals can change, especially with technological improvement.

      • Well sure but, even if we had meaningful participation in the operation of government (beyond the farcical “elections”), the vaccine addled minds of the population cannot even see how they’ve been manipulated into their positions on these “issues”.

And further, it’s of little surprise, that they can’t be reasoned out of those positions or into anything that would truly benefit themselves (let alone the country or the world).

  25. When you consider what Felt did it becomes obvious he was the wrong choice to head the FIB. Of course whoever was appointed probably wasn’t much better.

As for what they “got” Nixon and Trump for how is that any different than what they got Capone or Gotti for? If you can’t get someone for a real crime get them for tax “crimes”.
