I agree with everything Eric says about Elon Musk, but right now Musk is the only adult in the room condemning Trump’s big beautiful deficit increasing budget. How much longer can Elon tolerate Trump? I predict Elon to jump ship along with many others just like Trump’s first term.

It is hard to know what to make of Trump. Is he merely a bloviating con man who knows how to tell (some) people what they desperately want to hear? Or is he a willfully destructive and thus evil Golem who was installed to put the final nail in the coffin of what was once generally understood to be “America”? The more time passes, the more I am inclined to believe the latter.
