Here’s a quick look at some of the good things about the ’25 Mazda CX50 I’m test-driving this week. Amazingly, there are some. Meanwhile – as an aside – the VW ID Buzz EVÂ I was supposed to get this week didn’t get sent because of a “glitch.” I can remember when brand-new vehicles worked. But then, that was before they became devices!

An interesting follow up would be a review of the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross, which rolls out of the same factory in Alabama as the CX-50.
For decades the Japanese were famous for being copy cats, the same way China is today.
This Mazda CX-50 looks like it could have come straight out of BMW about 5 years ago, perhaps the X1, right down to the toaster style LCD display in the dashboard. The Mazda CX70/90 even have 3.0 liter straight six diesels and gas powered ICE engines that are clearly copies of BMW. I would also bet that the Mazda automatic is not up to the same smoothness and quick shifts of the ZF 8HP in the BMW.
I am pretty confident that if one were to look closer we would find that many of the materials of the Mazda are not quite up to BMW standards, that the engine isn’t as smooth, the handling isn’t quite as good, and that the overall quality is not up to BMW standards. Recent statistics shows Mazda has almost twice the recalls as BMW.

I find it unfortunate that BMW has abandoned analog gauges for color LCD bling, but there are certain advantages to an LCD in the drivers instrument cluster, such as Navi and other board computer functions such as outside temperature, speed limit info, cruise control info, time to destination, miles left on tank, etc.
Starting about 2015 the Jews restarted their post WW2 Morgentau plan for the destruction of the German race and the civilization they created. This started with their war on diesel, then continued with their war on nuclear power and more recently manifested itself when they sent their gollum army (the US) to blow up Nordstream.
In any case, Jews have made great progress in the destruction of the German work ethic, talent for mechanical engineering, and their love of fine ICE automobiles.
What we can see here is that Mazda is picking at the carcass of what once was the worlds leading automobile manufacturing country. At one point Mazda was a highly innovative company which had perfected the wankel engine. Now they just try to copy BMW with cheaper materials and more Chinese components.
