The Clover discussion triggered a memory from only 3 days ago! To set the scene, we are in WA state where every single town / city / street anywhere near homes, businesses, life in general is now lowered to 25 MPH and people frequently drive under that by a few per. We live out by the countryside where most roads etc (thank Christ) are higher limits and people tend to drive faster on the whole.
My wife and I are out driving back from a car show when I clock this weird situation unfolding in front of us a ways, a big truck in front of a small SUV and they are acting erratically. I figure maybe its friends or kids goofing and then when we get closer they are approaching a stop sign and the truck (I now see it’s a circa 2000 Dodge Ram Cummins, kinda lifted) driving super slow brake checks this SUV which is riding fast and close. We are like WTF as truck guy throws it in park and jumps out, the SUV reverses a little, my wife is like get back away from these nuts.
Truck guy is youngish and comes out all bowed up and ready to throw down, the SUV driver appears elderly and possibly a bit nuts (my first thought is foreigner who usually know how to drive fast which I appreciate). I’m thinking THIS IS A REVERSE CLOVER. Never have I seen this, but this dude is yelling “twenty five!” and is ready to go to jail bc the SUV dared to drive over the limit. Now granted, the guy probably lives right along this road and gets pissed people drive fast near his house, that happens. But his small child is in the truck seeing this and not only did I not see a deputy badge on his person, no one acted dangerous that I can see. The SUV (as far as I know) did not run over a crowd and keep going.
I’ve never witnessed such an abomination. And to top it off, this deputy truck bro probably drives way over the limit all the time and rolls coal I am certain. To act like this in front of a toddler bc it’s “your” neighborhood and you are affronted at the audacity of someone to drive 30 MPH in a 25 (crazy), is just wild. I couldn’t believe it. Add to that, we saw the same SUV several miles down the road near our house and they missed a turn and pulled a wild u-turn in the middle of a 55 MPH highway to go back. I was like OK then! Lol

Yup; it’s crazy out there. Because it’s crazy out there. So many people are extremely pissed off – about everything. What might have resulted in a birdie being flipped 20 years ago is now cause for a beatdown or shoot-out. I do everything I can to steer clear of this sort of craziness and recommend the same to everyone.
Today the New York Slimes describes the woes of the German auto industry, already well known at EP Autos readers. It ends with this hilarious anecdote:
‘The Germans still excel in at least one area: lavish marketing events. The party in Stuttgart celebrating Mercedes’s 140th birthday culminated in the unveiling of the S-Class sedan, which is made in Germany.
‘The car debuted in a livestreamed show featuring laser lights, drone cameras, a digital John Lennon and the real-life Roger Federer. It comes with an A.I.-powered screen the size of a small windshield, a glowing hood ornament and heated seatbelts.
‘But the seatbelts became a sort of national joke in German media, mocked as an example of how Mercedes is falling behind on the whiz-bang innovations the Chinese have become so good at.
“These German companies will survive,” said Tom Narayan, lead autos analyst at RBC Capital Markets. “But they will likely be smaller companies than they are today.”

Just six months ago I would readily have supported Andy Biggs, a past chair of the House Freedom Caucus, over the incumbent socialist Democrat, Katie Hobbs. But shortly after Traitor Trump gratuitously attacked Iran on Feb. 28, Andy Biggs tweeted that he was fine with the war. Rah, rah!
Since then, Andy Biggs (like most Repugniclowns) voted against multiple War Powers Act resolutions to withdraw US forces. That’s an absolute red line for me.
Never, never will I support a treasonous foreign agent who sends Americans to war for Israel. Consequently, I won’t lift a finger to help Andy Biggs. I may even vandalize some of his campaign signs with Magen Davids and swastikas.
No public office for treasonous zionazis!
