  1. Meanwhile, Clowngov blunders on:

‘The odds of a government shutdown are rising after Democratic leaders on Tuesday swiftly rejected a 91-page stopgap funding proposal unveiled by Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and fellow House Republicans because it was put together with little Democratic input and doesn’t extend generous health care subsidies under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Democrats voted more than a dozen times to extend federal funding with short-term “clean” continuing resolutions (CRs) when former President Biden was president and they controlled the Senate, but now they’re drawing a hard line on what ordinarily would be a noncontroversial funding proposal.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) said Tuesday the political dynamics in Washington today are very different from March, when he and nine other Senate Democrats voted for a partisan House-passed funding bill despite strong misgivings. “It’s much different now,” Schumer said. “The Republicans are in a much weaker position now than they were then.”

Just think — a mere two weeks from now, the genocidal Leviathan on the Potomac could be shut down cold. 🙂

      • Does it also mean we don’t have to pay Septembers quarterly estimate? Services not rendered generally aren’t required to be paid for.

  2. While I don’t have a dog in this fight, nevertheless this is hilarious:

‘Today, I have the Great Honor of bringing a $15 Billion Dollar Defamation and Libel Lawsuit against the New York Times, one of the worst and most degenerate newspapers in the History of our Country, becoming a virtual “mouthpiece” for the Radical Left Democrat Party. I view it as the single largest illegal Campaign contribution, EVER. Their Endorsement of Kamala Harris was actually put dead center on the front page of The New York Times, something heretofore UNHEARD OF! The “Times” has engaged in a decade-long method of lying about your Favorite President (ME!), my family, business, the America First movement, MAGA and our Nation as a a whole. I am proud to hold this once-respected “rag” responsible.’ — Orange Bejeezus, slobbering on his keyboard

Actually, newspapers have been publishing editorial endorsements of political candidates since the days of Ben Franklin. “Donnie” doesn’t know this, since his only source of information is “TeeVee.”

Mutual Assured Destruction is the best possible outcome for America, as two steaming founts of ignorance and idiocy annihilate each other in a fiery ball of exploding horseshit.

Well, he don’t like young Charlie I know
He told me one night on his radio show
He’s got him a medal he ‘won’ in the war
It weighs five hundred pounds and it sleeps on his floor

He’s a drug store truck drivin’ man
He’s the head of the Zio Klux Klan
    When summer rolls around
He’ll be lucky if he’s not in town
