Marjorie Taylor Greene has suddenly decided to leave Congress – just days after being called a “traitor” by the president she supported relentlessly for the past several years. Including the years after the election that was engineered to replace him.
She perhaps thought it might do some good to see him re-elected.
She has changed her mind – along with probably half (maybe more) of the people who voted for Trump and got something else. Well, who let themselves believe they were going to get something else. Who put out of their minds his atrocious enabling of the pushing of drugs on Americans – which he continues to insist “saved millions of lives.”
People didn’t vote for Trump personally. They voted for an America First national policy, which is what Trump promised but has repudiated – for the sake of Greater Israel. Did you know that Trump has appointed a Zionist rabbi – Yehuda Kaploun – to be America’s Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism?
Americans who voted for Trump wanted an end to the wars that are egged on by the Deep State and financed by Americans’ tax dollars. The war in Ukraine continues – largely because Trump has kept the IV of military aid flowing. The atrocity – mass murder, literally – in Gaza continues, approved by Trump – who could act to end it but doesn’t because doing that might offend Miriam Adelson and The Lobby. Trump may himself be more than just the usual cynical poll who takes dirty money in return for dirty deeds. He may actually believe in the rightness of what he’s doing for the sake of Greater Israel. In which case he is even more dangerous than the usual corrupt pol whose favors are available to the highest bidder.
I think I know why Marjorie Taylor Greene resigned. She is leaving Congress partially because she is disgusted by Trump and the clear futility of Voting Harder. Trump won a resounding victory just one year ago; he entered office with both houses at least nominally under the control of his party – but far more importantly, with the kinetic energy of a mandate from the electorate.
Does anyone remember the energy of the first few weeks? When Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency publicly began to gut USAID and threatened that was just the beginning?

Whatever happened to Trump’s entire agenda? It has been replaced with a new one: Delusional Tweets about how inflation is under control and he has ended so many wars that how could anyone be upset with him? Obamacare has been made even worse than it was. Federal goons are snatching people off the street and throwing them into unmarked minivans and some of the less addled among us see this as normalizing the kind of “action” that one used to have to go to Paraguay under Stroessner or Argentina under Peron to see. Instead of more freedom we’re getting more surveillance and REAL ID. Also the largest tax increase in decades, which Trump styles tariffs – as if that makes them cost Americans less. He offers to counterbalance these taxes by sending out $2,000 checks sometime next year – by which time $2,000 will probably have the buying power of what $1,000 has right now.
Maybe less.
MJT senses the poo hitting the fan and has wisely – and nobly – elected to get out of the way. Can anyone recall the last time an elected politician resigned on account of principle? MJT seems to have decided not to become part of the problem by pretending it can be fixed by Voting Harder Next Time. She has had a moment of clarity. She realizes it cannot be fixed so why bother. Exactly so.
You cannot polish a turd.
The turd must be flushed. This includes Trump, who has proved to be just that. It does not matter whether he is in the “files” because even if he is not, few will ever believe he wasn’t. Nothing he does now will change that. He is ruined, politically. It happened at Warp Speed, too.
And things are speeding up.
MJT wants more than just out. She wants out of the way. By leaving Congress now – and for the reasons she has stated – she will avoid the guilt by association that is going to be hung around the neck of everyone who continues to pretend all is well and that Trump isn’t going to destroy the nationalist-populist movement.
There is a historic remembrance worth remembering at this moment. Do you remember Carl Gustav Mannerheim? He was the leader of the Finns during World War II. Under his leadership, the Finns managed to hold back the Red Tide – Stalin’s armies – when they tried to invade Finland. Mannerheim allied himself with Germany but did not link Finland’s fate with Hitler’s. When it was clear to anyone not in the grip of sieg heiling delusion that Germany was going to lose the war – and lose everything – because of Hitler’s refusal to deal with reality, Mannerheim eased Finland out of harm’s way.
America can be Great Again.
But it will take Americans doing what they must to make it great again. MJT has just done something like that.

I think the more likely explanation is she sees the incoming bankruptcy and reorganization. Who better to run the bankruptcy than a man who’s been through it a time or two? You will have nothing between the bail-ins and the pledge you made to contribute everything you own to the cause. (Read the fine print. It’s why they can make you put plates on your/their car, and have to pay property tax for your/their house.)

One aspect of the MTG resignation that almost everyone has seemed to miss is her popularity. Once out of the clutches of congress, she could (and should) establish her own social media outlet on the same basis as Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens. She would get a wide audience, being able to speak freely without having to worry about political campaigns or other actions that restrict her actions.
MTG could be a very effective anti-israel “mouthpiece”, something that (((they))) would have a problem controlling.
Unencumbered by reelection or other political shenanigans and stunts, in her last days in congress, she could do some real damage on the floor of congress.

But in Congress, one’s odds are much better at 1 out of 435. At times, even one vote can be difference from some shit legislation passing and failing. And that type of thing infuriates Tangelo and his handlers.

All too often, I’m told in one way or another that I must, if I vote, vote for one of two stooges. So a vote for anyone else is saying “fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me”. Now, of course, I’ve always looked for a better candidate, rather than just “other”. Whether it be an independent, a Libertarian or other third party, most of my votes have gone as a voice of dissent, or if I were somehow victorious, a vote for liberty, or the increase thereof.
But the best votes are on propositions and the like…
No matter. If “no confidence” is ever on the ballot, that sounds good to me. I’ve often wanted a “none of the above”, as Worker72a has said. But the the truth is that your “no confidence” vote of silence is just regarded as “complacent consent” to the Powers. Voting to me is just a rather easy method of saying things are broken. I believe most people don’t vote not because they have a problem with “the system”. Usually they are just lazy and have no convictions. Being silent, you’re lumped in with them.
But it’s okay. Don’t think I don’t understand. I didn’t vote last time. The county said they didn’t recognize my address, being rural and off-grid. My thoughts were “No address, eh?! And so I’ve introduced multiple amendments to strip that funding out. Uh specifically to defund

defunding all foreign aid and all foreign funding for all foreign countries. So, I’ve introduced two amendments. Uh, one to get the $500 million out of the NDAA. $15 million. Um, this one is $55 million for Israel’s counter drone program and
another $70 million for anti- uh tunnel cooperation. Um, so it’s just important. We’re $37 trillion in debt. uh we shouldn’t be funding foreign countries uh basically because America’s broke and we really need to get focused on our on our own country and our own people’s

Huckabee has been on my sh** list for years – he let an animal out of Arkansas prison that came up here to WA and murdered four cops as they sat eating breakfast in a cafe. In my book an act of mercy is not a reason to crap all over Huckabee. He gave the guy a second chance at life, and the guy proceeded to squander it. That was a choice, and that’s on him not on Huckabee. How the heck was the governor supposed to know he would do that? It’s a possibility any time you pardon anyone, are we supposed to stop doing pardons altogether? (I say no…) I guarantee you he’s not gonna be getting any more clemency after that one.

They’re coached in prison how to fool psychologists / psychiatrists, there was a PBS show on this back in the ‘80s. Huckabee with his twisted Christian belief system (see also Israel ass kisser) was an easy mark. The released animal had a lengthy criminal history never should have been released. He proceeded to rape once here in WA, this wasn’t “squander” it was continuation of prior sick behavior finally resulting in the four deaths.

While I applaud her for working with Massie and pushing The Epstein files out into the open (although we will never see them) am I the only one who thinks she was threatened? That said, I am inclined to take her statement at face value in view of her prior strident and uncompromising stand for Trump and MAGA generally. I would not take her statement that she “didn’t want to put her district through a primary” at face value. That’s just bullshit. Primary elections happen all the time.
I think there’s one of two possibilities: first, CIA/NSA/FBI/Mossad put her under the microscope. If they want to, they can find out every text she ever sent, every phone call, every keystroke, and every sex position she’s ever done it in. The FBI has done this for decades… have a meeting where they say “Congressman, there are rumors that you slept with ___, we of course think that’s completely false (wink, wink) but we just wanted you to be aware of these false allegations, (cough, cough).”
The second possibility is that she just doesn’t want to be a pariah. Congress is the ultimate chummy, insider, gladhanding, go-along-to-get-along country club. There are almost no real votes, every vote is rigged by the party leadership after the members have been whipped. Every speech is just theater, there’s no real debate. The partisan bickering is just for show. It’s ALL fake and ghey. Congress attracts yes-men who want the approval and affirmation of their peers. The nail that sticks up gets hammered down, like Jim Traficant.
This is especially true of women. They want to be the center of attention, but not for negative reasons. Women do not typically want to be pariahs or martyrs for principle or alone out in left field, they are herd animals far more than men are. Very possibly it could be the fact that MTG is getting out because her “I’m-blonde-pro-MAGA-look-at-me” shtick is over.
She is of course correct in many of her criticisms, but in Congress being right instead of going along with the lemmings is actually a detriment.

If they follow the law Massie did get language that requires all redactions to be explained.

In theory there will be mountains of pages with all the names redacted but a companion document that lists all the names somewhere in those pages.
To comply with classification laws the reader can’t know a crime at an individual level but it’s sort of worse because every crime listed could be anyone on the list. What may happen is the least worst offenders will have to say publicly that yeah I was on the island or a dinner party but it was not me with the kids. So you start narrowing down the inner circle by attrition.
Such a Massie list could then be more damaging by inference. The mainstream media won’t do the linking but once the information is out there you could very well see lots of those in farther out orbits come clean just so they are not assumed to be the inner circle.
I kind of think that could the real leverage point, especially if someone has corroborating time and place data that show who’s who in the redactions.
The phrase about protecting national security makes me skeptical that we’ll ever see the Epstein files. That one phrase allows for so much mischief.

I think she got an offer she couldn’t refuse. She did mention death threats made against her and her family. I could tell someone who made a threat against me to bring it on, but if they threatened to kidnap and torture your kids or grandkids that’s a game changer. We know that these psychopaths are capable of doing that and probably would enjoy it, just read some of the reports leaking out of the torture of prisoners in Israhell.

Marjorie Taylor Green’s district in Georgia has grown increasingly dependent on the EV grift in recent years, particularly subsidies tied to the new Rivian plant which will ostensibly open in the near future east of Atlanta.
Green’s district does not cover the plant, but her district office is in Dalton, where many suppliers have set up operations as the traditional industries of furniture and carpet manufacturing have waned and government incentives poured in to save the area’s aconomy.

I gave up categorizing between “good” jews and “bad” jews many decades ago, even before the assassination of JFK. Yes, there are truly “good” jews out there (Ron Unz, Norman Finkelstein among others) but are too few in number to make a difference.
