Crude oil was up to $82.30 per barrel as of yesterday morning, which means that the cost of crude oil was up by about 10 percent since the beginning of Operation Epic Fury – the decision to attack Iran and start a general war in the Middle East on behalf of the Rothschild’s colony in the Middle East – less than a week ago.
As of this morning – Friday, a full week on – it is now about $84 per barrel.
At this rate, crude oil will be $100 per barrel by the end of next week and maybe sooner if the Iranians manage to successfully close the Strait of Hormuz and keep it closed. The War Tax is now about 20-30 cents per gallon, depending on where you live. It is likely to be 40-50 cents by next week.
How about a dollar by April? For most people, that’ll amount to about $15-$20 extra per tankful, once a week.

Perhaps the better question is – how much can you afford to pay to support this war?
If the cost of gasoline – tied directly to the cost of oil – goes up to $5 per gallon, which is a very real possibility and could prove to be a best-case scenario, it will probably cost $70 to fill up the tank of a typical crossover that has a 15 gallon tank by the time we get to April. It will cost more than $100 to fill up the tank of a full-size truck or SUV.
It will cost more than just that, too – because it’s not just the cost of gas. The War Tax will be added to the cost of everything else, on top of that. Food, for instance – which relies on gas (and diesel) trucking to get to the store. Trump was saying, just a week before he decided to start this war, that prices were coming down. Well, thanks to this war, they are going back up. Americans who voted for Trump thought they were voting for relief from Biden-era inflation. Instead, they got Trump-era taxation. It amounts to the same thing, with the only difference being Biden didn’t start a major war.
Trump’s secretary of war is now saying the war could go on for eight weeks or even longer. Trump himself says forever.
It probably won’t – because most Americans cannot take paying $100 for a tank of gas once a week and probably the same for a plastic bag of groceries ($100 bought two plastic bags until just before the war; we may look back fondly on that in a couple weeks from now).
Addendum: An American Marine just had his arm broken for saying Americans don’t want this war.
But we’re at war, nonetheless.
Why?
Whose interests are served? Certainly not those of Americans – who’ve been put last again by the man who promised he’d put them first. Why? One word carries with it explanatory power.

The highway account should be zero. The only reason to have it carry a balance is if they want to steal that money for some other purpose. Currently, things like electric buses and other mass transit boondoggles, bike paths, electric vehicle chargers, etc. There’s no good reason to have highway maintenance and construction be anything more than cash flow.
I don’t see gas prices as being all that big of a deal — yet. It’s gone up about 20 cents since the unprovoked sneak attack on Tehran, but it was going up already before that. Total increase in the past month has been about 35 cents. I’ve seen fluctuations like that many times over the past few years, unrelated to any war.
If there is any indication that this war has nothing to do with any of us and we are merely spectators to what our imperial masters are doing, it is the fact that the chief effect is a few cents more at the pump. No American cities have been hit, no one has been drafted, the power is still on, and the Africans are still playing sportsball on the telescreen. Aside from the evening network news, the media isn’t even covering it all that much and there seems to be little to no opposition, even from the congressional Democrats (because the Jew Schumer wants this war just as much as Trump and Bibi).

Now, that may change, or it may not.
