Here Comes the President . . .

The President of the United States, Benjamin Netanyahu, arrives in town this week to “confer” with his viceroy, Donald Trump. That is, to give him his orders. Everyone understands the nature of the relationship, especially those who refuse to acknowledge it.

The real president of the United States instructed his viceroy to start this war and now he is back (again) to instruct him to expand it, probably. Iran stubbornly refuses to accept defeat since it has won – so far – by not losing. The serial bombing hasn’t resulted in the displacement of the Iranian government or the return in triumph and rose pedals of the old Shah’s son, who would serve as another of Netanyahu’s viceroys. Nor has it opened the Strait. The one that was open before Trump acted on the orders of his president that’s been closed by the understandably irritated Iranians.

Trump says he wants a return to the status quo ante – that is, for the Strait to be open, as it was before it was closed in retaliation for starting this stupid, evil war. It’d be hilarious were it not so consequential. Billions have been lost – and at least 18 Americans killed as well as hundreds now admitted to have been injured (and many times more Iranians killed and injured; it is a measure of the psychosis of the United States that the people killed and injured by the United States in a war of choice are given next to no thought, as if they were just “statistics,” as Stalin regarded the people he had killed). And Trump wants the return of the pre-war status quo ante.

More such may be coming in the wake of the president’s arrival in Washington. Obviously, he is here to give his viceroy new instructions. These instructions will not be to admit (privately) that the war is lost and thus it’s time to cut losses before the losses become such that we lose everything – though that may be the true ultimate purpose of this stupid, evil war. The imbecility of it strongly argues that it could be. Trump is, after all, both viceroy and Golem – of interests that see the United States as a drying up milch cow whose time at the milking stall is just about over. And what happens to old, dried-up milk cows? They get sent to the cat food factory.

Anyhow, the president and his viceroy are almost certainly discussing the other options they still have to “win” this war. One is the sending of American cannon fodder to Iran. This cannon fodder will, of course, not include the likes of Ben Shapiro or Barron Trump. Col. Doug MacGregor – who is experienced in these matters – thinks it would be an imbecility almost beyond imagining to attempt to sic American ground troops on the Iranians, because (among other things) getting them anywhere near Iran in numbers adequate to do the job would be effectively impossible given Iran has the means to prevent their assembling for an invasion anywhere near Iran. Never mind the support logistics that would be necessary. Never mind the political fallout that will hit like a dirty bomb if American flag-draped coffins begin coming back to America in the hundred or thousands, no matter how loudly or often they play the Lee Greenwood song.

The president and his viceroy may want Americans to fight for Israel but few Americans are interested in fighting for Israel. Much less dying for it.

So that option is probably out. That implies the other option is likely to be the one chosen. Col. MacGregor says “the path” to the use of nuclear weapons has already been laid down. The president and his viceroy have framed Iran possessing nuclear weapons as constituting an existential threat – which is a silly as it is psychotic given the existential threat the United States and Israel represent to not just Iran but to the whole goddamned world. At any rate, if it is accepted that Iran possessing even a single nuclear weapon (even as a deterrent to the thousands of nuclear weapons possessed by the United States and Israel) constitutes an existential threat, then use of nuclear weapons to neutralize that “threat” can be justifed.

No doubt that is the gist of the conversation – if you want to call it that – taking place right now between the president and his viceroy.

  4. I have an idea how Trump is going to be removed from office – Trump’s low approval rating will get much lower – when the stock market eventually tops out and crashes. The crashing stock market along with high fuel prices may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

    At some point, no sane person is going to approve of Trump. The course Trump is on is a total fail. Trump is in bed with very bad people. There is no cause for optimism.

          A few months back, I took one of those DNA/geneology tests because the subject interests me. The “map” of my genetic ancestors lies entirely within Western Europe. I apparently have zero “semitic” (e.g., Arabic, Levantine) DNA – so how could it be that I and others of exclusively Western European DNA are descended from people who lived in the Levant two thousand years ago?

                • Well, Adi, to be perfectly honest in kindergarten (1983) the county Sheriff’s Department lined us up like we were five year old criminals and fingerprinted us at the Nurse’s Station. They said it was done in case someone kidnapped us they could find us.

          English has MANY words that descend from Arabic. Algebra. Alcohol. Zero. And a litany of other words.

                • Ok, so, all of that is correct. However, none of that really has anything to do with the origin of the white race. I want you to think about the age of the languages, though. Germanic is at most 2,500 years old. HEBREW IS 3,000 YEARS OLD. There are MANY German words that come from Hebrew, often filtered through Yiddish.

      Shapiro is one of those “conservatives” who reframed “conservatism” as putting Israel First. This began during the Cold War, when the first generation of these people – figures such as Norman Podhoretz – presented Israel as Our Greatest Ally against the Soviet Union and its proxies. The ‘Netanyahu controls America’ perspective is popular and has great appeal (and there’s almost certainly some truth to it), but when considering the attack on Iran along with attacks on other nations, such as Venezuela, Iraq (both of whose oil and oil revenue now flows to the US) and of course Russia, the plot starts to look an awful lot like an Empire’s effort to control world-wide oil, gas and energy flows. For the benefit of ordinary working Americans, of course.

  14. The last time the US was not in some type of military involvement was under the Presidency of Calvin Coolidge…a hundred years ago. For some strange reason this country believes we have some type of anointment to invade other countries, steal their resources and the lives of our youth. The citizens of the USSA have been pushed around, laughed at, and forced to jump as our Constitutional rights are decimated daily over the last century.       • Trump’s sons will never ‘serve’ in any meaningful sense of the word (that is, risking life and limb personally). But consider: if you could, wouldn’t you do the same for your own sons? I don’t consider that reprehensible; it’s natural for dads to protect their families and children.

        The real crime is starting these wars in the first place, for which Trump should be hung by the neck until dead, along with a significant number of other presidents and other high officials. If the Constitution was truly the brilliant document it is purported to be, it would have provided clear and actionable mechanisms for such to occur.

Why is the U.S. fighting a GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR? It seems to me we could have saved $9 TRILLION and thousands of American lives by just telling Israel to get the hell out of Gaza, Jerusalem, Syria and the West Bank.

      In fact, it goes back to 1963 when JFK, the last American president not beholden to Jew money and blackmail, demanded Israel do something about the Palestinian refugees, comply with US law re: registering as a foreign agent before lobbying congress and comply with international law regarding inspection of nuclear facilities.

      Had U.S. forced Israel to withdraw from Sinai, Syria Gaza, Jerusalem and the West Bank in 1967 how many lives and how much treasure would have been saved?

      Had U.S. recognized a Palestinian State and made any further aid to Israel contingent upon Israel recognizing and maintaining good relations with said Palestinian state, how different would our history be? Would there have been a 1973 war, an oil crisis, the petro dollar? Would 3000 Americans be dead because of 911? Would our country be $39 TRILLION in debt with a debt service of over $1 trillion? Would we have a blackmailed Epstein pedophile puppet of Israel demanding a $2 trillion WAR budget after campaigning that he would end all the forever wars?

      Under JFK the US airlifted supplies to Berlin to keep it free. Under Biden and Trump we daily for 2.5 years airlifted (supplemented by navy shipments) military supplies to Israel to bomb an area 25 x 12 miles containing 2.1 million people into rubble.
