Israel is Silent

Curiously – perhaps not –  the war has resumed but only two parties appear involved, Iran and the United States. Israel is quiet, which is curious since the war began because Israel started it (Trump has publicly acknowledged this). Now it appears the war does not involve Israel at all.

Fascinating, as Mr. Spock says.

The truth, of course, is that this war between Iran and the United States is an example of let’s you and him fight – on behalf of Israel. To serve the interests of Israel is perhaps a more accurate way to put it. Does anyone ask why we are at war with Iran? This far-away country that didn’t attack us before we (along with Israel) attacked it? What’s that all about? America – more finely, Americans (as opposed to the interests that control America) – derive no benefit from being at war with Iran. But Israel does. It serves Israel’s interests to hammer the Iranians. Well, why is America hammering Iran for the sake of Israel? We are not supposed to ask such questions. It is “anti-Semitic” to ask such questions.

Oy vey, as they say.

Israel is quiet all of a sudden because Americans had been getting loud – about this strange and evil business of our country going to war on behalf of Israel. About Trump acting as if he were the president of Israel – an office he seems to aspire to – rather than the president of the United States. About paying $4 or more for gas because of Israel. Until about two weeks ago – just before Trump surrendered to the Iranians via the Memorandum of Agreement – public sentiment toward Israel and its culpability for starting this war and goading Trump into involving us in it had been souring like cottage cheese left in the sun too long. Something had to be done. The Israelis (and their agents in this country) are not stupid people.

A redirection was required. The war – now back on – is no longer a three-way war. It is – so it can be presented – a two-way war. As if it had always been a war between two parties. People forget because the interests want them to forget.

What happened was a pretend cessation of hostilities based on a pretended acceptance of Iran’s terms of surrender, most particularly the understanding that Iran is now the master of the Strait of Hormuz. It is right there in the Memorandum of Surrender Trump pretended to agree to without agreeing to it. He pretended to the American people that he had not agreed to it while pretending to the Iranians that he had. The American people were led to believe the Strait would be re-opened to all traffic, at the behest of the Orange MacArthur. The Iranians were led to believe the Orange MacArthur had agreed to their terms, so when those terms were violated, the Iranians did what you’d expect and responded with force. This became the excuse Trump needed to restart the war and – so he hoped – rouse the belligerence of the American volk in support of the war, which has been reframed as a war between Iran and the United States and – look! – the Iranians started it.

No doubt “Bibi” is getting a good laugh out of this.

But who will get the last laugh? Has anything changed, beyond the perception that this is a war between Iran and the United States? Put another way, does the United States – that is, Trump – think he can win the war that he’s lost so far? How, exactly? More bombing runs? It hasn’t much fazed the Iranians so far. Why would it faze them now? An estimated 10 million of them poured into the streets a few days ago to express their respect for the ayatollah murdered by Trump. It does not matter whether you respect the ayatollah. What matters is that 10 million Iranians do. Trump seems not to grasps this – and neither does “Bibi.”

There is also a time element at work – and time is running short. Trump doesn’t have a couple of months to bomb the Iranians back to the “peace” table. The word is the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is close to empty and if it’s not refilled soon, it is not unlikely that gas will soon cost a lot more than $4 per gallon, if gas is available at all. Trump could use domestic supply to provide for America’s needs but then the shock absorber for the rest of the world would be gone and then the impact of the war (and the closing of the Strait, again) will be felt worldwide, in the manner of a 1929-style crash.  Or worse.

All for the sake of the contumacious little country that has gone silent, for the moment.

  1. The war is not on them, the war is on you. Jews hate the West, Whites and Christianity and their using their monopoly on $ printing to make it a reality.

  2. Nobody is mentioning the decimation of ALL USA-run military bases in the middle east. Satellite images show massive but selective destruction on all fronts. From USA aircraft, ships and aircraft carriers, Iran has been “doing a number” on all of them. This was also the case with USA-supplied radar and weather-modification sites which when decimated, halted the multi-decade drought that Iran was suffering under.
If the USA public truly knew what was going on, there might be enough momentum to put a stop to it and redirect our firepower towards israel itself.
To Iran’s credit, they painted aircraft shapes on their tarmacs causing both israeli and USA bombs to strike nonexistent aircraft–a brilliant low-tech move that helped expend israel’s and the USA’s military bombs.
Unlike israel and its b!tch, the USA, Iran is a moral country which purposely avoids targeting civilians.
Foreign news sites unaligned with the USA and israel are but ways to get unfiltered real information…

  3. You might think Israel is quiet, just like you would think there was no US bombing of Iran or Epstein hearings in Congress if you looked at Drudge today. But here is an article from the Times of Israel:

7.16.26 “Israel steps up campaign to kill all 5,000 Oct. 7 terrorists; 1,200 were killed on the day, 1,500 so far since. Times of Israel analysis shows sharp increase, despite Gaza truce, in strikes targeting those who participated in the massacre or held and abused hostages; 300 more have been captured. Echoes of Munich 1972 ‘They are all marked for death wherever they are’ ”
    https://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-stepping-up-campaign-to-hunt-and-kill-every-oct-7-terrorist-despite-gaza-truce/

Even though Gaza has been bombed to rubble for almost THREE YEARS, 73,000 are killed, and 173,000 wounded, the filthy rotten racist zionist war criminals have only killed 3,000 of the people they claim to KNOW EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM WITH THEIR AERIAL SURVEILLANCE FLOCK CAMERAS [BUT WHEN THE FILTHY ROTTEN IDF HAD A VIDEO OF THE GANG RAPE OF A PALESTINIAN COULDN’T FIND HIM SO DROPPED CHARGES AGAINST THE ISRAELI GANG SODOMIZING ‘HEROES’ (THE MOST MORAL ARMY IN THE WORLD THAT USES GERMAN SHEPHERDS TO SODOMIZE “UNLAWFUL COMBATANTS” (INCLUDING WOMEN)).]

    (1) There’s a ceasefire, but Israel is still murdering Gazans (AI) “Israeli military operations and attacks have killed at least 1,122 (more than Israelis killed on 10/7) Palestinians in Gaza since the ceasefire agreement took effect. According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health and UN human rights investigators, the near-daily violations and strikes have also wounded more than 3,500 people.”
    (2) Israel according to TOI claims to know exactly who invaded Israel, but they have been indiscriminately murdering civilians and bombing everything–entire apartment building to kill one person (and his entire family) as Trump said about Israeli SOP in Lebanon.
    (3) Israel is not going to arrest and try them. If they know who they are let’s see the proof. Let’s see the tape of the war crime. Doesn’t Israel have to obey the law? TOI is a reputable newspaper.
    (4) Who are the rest of the people Israel has arrested during their 3 year terror campaign to genocide Gaza (many are being “detained without charge” like Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya–who has been starved and beaten almost to death)? AI: ” Israeli forces have conducted approximately 18,000 to 18,500 arrests in the West Bank and thousands more in the Gaza Strip since October 2023.” AI: “Israel currently holds approximately 3,600 detainees and prisoners from the Gaza Strip. This includes over 1,200 Gazans held under the “unlawful combatants law” without charge or trial, as well as individuals classified as criminal detainees or held in military-run camps outside the regular prison system.” So none of these people were involved in 10/7?

It just boggles the mind the mendacity and pure evil of Israel.

The other places Israel is busy are in the West Bank and Lebanon. Not sure if you have followed anything by Ro Khanna about his recent trip to the West Bank. Monitor the Israeli papers. Not a day goes by when there is not some Israeli crime either governmental or “settler” being committed. Reuters 7.14.26 “Israel allocates $434 million for 34 new West Bank settlements” (but meanwhile US taxpayers have to give these genocidal racist thieving bastards 3.4 BILLION a year to “defend themselves” — our Congress just voted for it again yesterday). USA Today 7.16.26 “OPINION Ro Khanna’s West Bank stunt was never about Palestinians” (he’s an anti-semite!!!); Al Jazeera 7.16.26 “Palestinians fight fires after settler attacks in the occupied West Bank” AP News 7.16.26 “Settler violence surges across the West Bank”

The Racist Zionist Freaks are also busy grabbing up land in Lebanon, destroying centuries old history in Tyre, and turning the Arab villages into “gaza” (new Israel joke: Gaza=Rubble). ME EYE 7.13.26 “At Beaufort Castle, the IDF’s 36th Division Prepares for Hezbollah’s Next Move With the IDF Dug in at Beaufort, Its Next Challenge Is Preventing Hezbollah from Returning to the Guerrilla Tactics That Once Drove Israel from Southern Lebanon” YNET 7.11.26 “IDF prepares for long stay in Lebanon as Hezbollah regroups under ceasefire; Despite an unusual wave of strikes in southern Lebanon, Israeli defense officials say no pullback order has been issued; the IDF is preparing for a prolonged deployment while Hezbollah is believed to be using the ceasefire to regroup and replenish weapons”

Of course, the racist zionist war criminal freaks are busy in the U.S. and throughout the world too. VP Vance is accusing them of trying to sabotage the “peace deal” — as if he isn’t in it right up to his neck with them. Meddling in our elections etc. Just re-established relations with Colombia (after getting their pro-Palestine president defeated (just like Maduro)). AI: “The progressive, pro-Palestinian candidate Iván Cepeda was defeated by conservative outsider Abelardo de la Espriella in the Colombian presidential runoff election. De la Espriella won with approximately 49.7% of the vote compared to Cepeda’s 48.7%, securing a narrow victory and paving the way for a sharp political shift.”

    • 7.17.26 DRUDGE “NYPOST: Sen. Gallego had sexual relationships with two staffers…” AI: “Senator Ruben Gallego’s stance on Israel has evolved from a previously staunch pro-Israel moderate position to one of increasing opposition. While he supports defensive systems like the Iron Dome, he opposes U.S. funding for offensive weapons and leads efforts to sanction Israeli settlers for human rights violations in the West Bank.”

[On 7/15/26 Breaking Point program Massie mentioned the AI “Throuple” ad that pervert ME FIRST AIPAC Jews Singer and Adelson flooded his district with: (AI) “The AI-generated “throuple” ad targeting Rep. Thomas Massie was paid for by MAGA KY (also known as MAGA Kentucky), a pro-Trump super PAC.The ad was an attack during the highly contested Kentucky Republican primary. It featured AI-generated deepfakes—such as faked CCTV footage and images—to falsely depict Massie holding hands and dining with Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar.”]

YNET 7.17.26 Foreign Ministry: Colombia to withdraw its involvement in case against Israel at International Court. The office of Colombia’s President-elect Abelardo de la Espriella announced that the country will withdraw its intervention in the case against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. This was announced by the Foreign Ministry, after Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met with Colombia’s Foreign Minister-designate Omar Bula Escobar. The office’s statement said that ‘Colombia will return to a responsible position in the international arena and will withdraw its involvement in the case filed by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.’

  4. “What happened was a pretend cessation of hostilities.”

How do know this “war” isn’t a case of pretend hostilities? The crude oil market seems remarkably unperturbed given the sensational nature of yesterday’s Financial Times headline: “Oil traders warn market is close to running on empty as Hormuz shuts again.”

Not so unperturbed are U.S. retail gasoline prices which, as Eric correctly predicted, are headed back to $4. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this war is a fake cover story to help the PTBs to keep the inflationary screws tight on middle-class America.

    • Real possibility. I trust only a fraction of the “news”. Like gas prices, for example. Granted, I have not traveled further than about 50 miles from home in the last week or two, but we are now $3.12 credit.

  5. I’ve read several articles recently warning that the SPR is in danger of collapsing if much more oil is drawn out, plus most other storage facilities are also close to empty. Supposedly the USSA produces enough oil to make gasoline, but it’s the wrong type of crude for diesel and jet fuel. Let’s see what kind of disaster that brings to the cost of delivering just about everything, if there’s even enough available.

    • That’s largely true, Mike. But both Canadian Athabasca oil and Venezeulan oil are great for the heavier products like Jet A, diesel and heating oil. While Keystone II is dead, probably forever, Trump has managed to undo much of the damage Biden did, and even negotiated a higher purchase agreement, and Keystone is flowing almost wide open now. Plus whatever is coming in from Venezuela. It’s enough that the futures traders are content with the heavy crude situation, anyway.

      • Or it could be that the Jews control the stock market and are intervening to keep prices low along with the gulf states and UK; it could also be Bessant, under Trump’s orders, is using the Treasury Dept to do this (God forbid)–or it could be Trump has just threatened them like he did the gas companies.

Gas Prices could be reflecting that “President Donald Trump recently threatened the oil and gas industry with a Department of Justice investigation and “big problems” for alleged price gouging. He demanded retailers drop gas prices to a national target of around $2.50 a gallon, arguing they were unfairly keeping pump prices high as crude costs fell.”

“Trump accuses oil companies of gas price ‘gouging,’ calls for DOJ probe…Asked for comment, a DOJ spokesperson said, “The price of fuel is not only a national security issue, it impacts the wallet of every American. We will always commit to ensuring affordability in this nation.””
        https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-gas-price-gouging-oil-iran-war-hormuz-doj-rcna351522

Unfortunately, like in the USSR, that only works until it doesn’t!

        • How would that work? Manipulating the stock market means giving your money to the people on the other side of the trade to hide the real numbers. Do you really believe Jews are forking over hundreds of billions? Trillions by the time this is all over? Bessent, maybe, I guess, though those kinds of numbers are going to be hard to hide. Specifically which accounts would Bessent be stealing from? Offhand, the only ones big enough are military, SS and CMS. Do you have any evidence of that happening?

  6. I call bullshit.

I haven’t been to the middle east to actually see what is going on for myself, but what I DO KNOW for a FACT is that modern humans are serial lairs. Period.

SO MANY lies have been and continue to be broadcasted by the news, govt, corporations and quite frankly regular people we unfortunately have to deal with in daily life.

Yet we STILL listen, pay attention and react to what they say?? What??

Lying is like a second language here in America.. and seems much of the modern world.

Why would any honest person believe ANYTHING the criminals in power broadcast?????

Seriously, I would like to know the answer.

Common sense demands this is ALL THEATER.. whether there’s a nugget of truth in any of these fables.. or not.

The oldest saying I know is ‘Believe none of what you here and only half of what you see’

But I suppose maybe this tried and true advice just isn’t valid anymore.

    Just my 2 cents

    • You raise a point that I think of all the time now. Is all of this just theatre? I often wonder if Putin is in on the Ukraine war along with the west. Is Russia and the west in collusion just for the grift? The longer it goes on, the more I think so.

      • The ‘covid’ response was very telling.

Who lined up quickly and publicly to force masks and dangerous injections on their huge hapless populations???

Who immediately excepted their enemies narrative hook line and sinker???

Why it was Russia and Iran..

Jeez, almost doesn’t make sense does it?

  7. My guess is the war will enter the “mowing the lawn” stage. Go in and bomb all the shore facilities like radar, swift boat anchorages, oil loading facilities, launchers, etc., then back off and let them rebuild until they start being assholes again. Because of course that’s what they are going to do. Rather than do what’s good for the people, they will do what’s good for their end times eschatology.

Because at core, Iran is just that terrible neighbor that everyone hates. But unlike that neighbor, where you finally sell and move somewhere else, you don’t really have the option to sell and move to a different planet.

    • So basically, Operation Linebacker III? I’m sure it will work this time.

This is one of the oddest wars in my lifetime. Nobody seems to know anything about what is going on, and the press basically is an arm of the government. There is no reporting on whatever happened with the supposed downed pilot.

I’m just a little surprised at the kind of tepid response of the Iranians right now. I know they have hit our bases in the region and caused damage, but I thought at some point they would have at least tried to attack or take out a US Naval vessel. Do they not have the capability? Have they tried and failed? Or are they afraid of the consequences? One can only imagine the response of the Orange one if that happened.

      • “Do they not have the capability? Have they tried and failed? Or are they afraid of the consequences?”

Any/all. My guess is all. Same as why they’ve stopped attacking Israel. They have shot most of their wad, and don’t have the ability to retaliate against the promised overwhelmingly disproportionate Israeli response. Just target the weakling GCC.

    • Well, this brings up an interesting question, Steve. Iran is not really a “neighbor.” In any case it is up to Congress to declare war, not up to Bibi and Trump.

However, the government also has the authority to protect American shipping in international waters, too. Again, this is listed as a power of Congress in Article I.

Jefferson prosecuted the Barbary Wars under this clause without an official declaration to protect American ships in the Mediterranean. The Marines hit Arab ports, but they did not bomb the Arabs indefinitely nor attempt to conquer Arab lands.

Ultimately, the question is, is this an unconstitutional war, or a constitutional defense of U.S. shipping?

      • It’s an awkward situation, all right. The US has agreements and even some treaties promising to defend other states. That was the precondition for those bases, after all.

I don’t think you can leave them swinging in the breeze.

  8. ‘Fetterman’ is Silent Vocal

‘Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) warned on Wednesday that if Democrats completely turn their backs on U.S. support for Israel, that would cross a red line that could push him out of the party.

“If our party ever becomes — and just makes it official — the anti-Israel party, that’s when I would leave because that’s been a moral clarity for me,” he said.

‘Fetterman’ said he “can’t understand why the Democratic Party” — which shares an array of values [sic, LOL] with Israel as an important democracy in the Middle East — would turn against a long-standing ally [sic].’

    https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5970730-john-fetterman-democratic-party-israel/

How soon can we save ourselves $3.8 billion a year, while ditching ‘Fetterman’ — a total win-win for actual Americans?

What values does the D-party share with Israel — treating minorities as second-class citizens, like Israel’s 60-plus apartheid laws do?

As the party which claims to represent ethnic minorities in the US, the D-party is finding it terribly awkward to continue helping little Shitrahell crush and murder its own minorities.

Israel is our Hakeem Jeffries’ misfortune. 🙂

  9. There’s a lot of strange silence here: Russia and China say very little and do nothing. The countries supposedly being bombed back by Iran – Bahrain, Jordan, KSA, Kuwait, all silent. The Democrat party, including the noise makers. ABCNNBCBS and all rest of the American press, who normally have a six foot erection for our military adventures, all pretend this is no big deal, and ignore war crimes being committed in real time. Euroweenies have nothing to say. All we get is the Trumpsteinmanberg’s vacuous threats on Truth, and centcom’s (what focus group came up with that tough sounding name?) grainy black and white bomb cloud videos. All of this, weird.

    • The silence of Russia and China is indeed strange on the surface, but it must be noted that the leadership of of these countries are well aware of the basic reality that the US (1) possesses a shitload of nuclear weapons, and (2) is governed by deranged screaming toddlers with no morals or critical thinking whatsoever.

Dealing with such madness requires some measure of restraint, but both countries have means of retaliation that do not involve actually getting into war. If there is any truth that Miss Lindsey died in Kiev (not using the stupid new name) whether by drone strike or perhaps poisoning the Putin will have subtly sent out a major warning quietly. As for China, all they have to do is massively dump their holdings of US Treasuries, which is their ace in the hole they can unleash at any time.

The US is doing such a perfect job of destroying itself they may not need to do anything at all.

  10. I suspect a tipping point has been reached with respect to American support for Israel.

A lot of it is simple demographics: America’s Jewish population is stagnant or shrinking, and its Muslim population is growing such that by 2030, Islam will beat Judaism as America’s largest non-Christian faith.

Furthermore, among Christians, support for Israel is shrinking for many reasons, among them a declining Evangelical population and a growing population of Catholics due to Hispanic immigration and younger people embracing Catholicism, as well as Orthodoxy. Catholicism and Orthodoxy are much less focused on millennarian dispensationalism (the whole Armageddon thing) than Evangelicalism.

Which brings me to this: If there is an apocalyptic war in the Middle East and the Messiah/Christ/Mahdi/12th imam DOES NOT return, then what?

  11. Today, blogger ‘b’ at Moon of Alabama lists four recent pronouncements from US CENTCOM, ragging on the Iranians for attacking commercial shipping. Then the kicker:

‘TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. forces enforced naval blockade measures against Iran, July 15, by disabling an unladen oil tanker attempting to sail toward an Iranian port in the Arabian Gulf.’

    https://tinyurl.com/46faw466

This is sociopathic yankee hypocrisy writ large, in blazing neon letters. It is also piracy, one of three federal crimes cited in the freaking constitution.

I will duly write to my Congress Clowns, demanding Hegseth’s impeachment. He is not merely a statutory, but a constitutional criminal, shitting on the very fabric of our republic.

    • So long as they are “effective”, blockades are legal. Which is why the US blockade was of all Iranian ports, and was supposedly effective in terms of number of vessels going to or from Iran running the blockade.

So if Iran wants to be at war with, say, Kuwait, it is perfectly legal for them to blockade them. But they can’t pick and choose. They have to interdict all or none. They can’t let the ones that pay the toll go through.

      • Funny how you always miss the point, Steve. JimH didn’t mention blockade, but “pronouncements from US CENTCOM, ragging on the Iranians for attacking commercial shipping.” THEN the US attacked a commercial ship [just like pedophile sodomite raping Epstein blackmailed filth Traitor Trump has Rubio and Walz whine about the illegality of Iran collecting tolls in “international waters” (which strait of hormuz definitely is not, i.e. the US is lying) and then PSREBFTT announces he is going to collect 20% tolls (when Iran first announced intention to collect tolls with Oman, Trump said, “no no, not Oman, collect tolls with the U.S.!)).

It could PSREBFTT is purposely provoking Iran to attack ships in the gulf and may be why U.S. is now disabling ships: to further PSREBFTT and his criminal Meyer Lansky Kushner Witkoff Netanyahu Stern gang’s desire to control the world via oil. They’ve got their Jew terrorist Zelensky destroying Russia’s tankers and oil infrastructure:

7.14.26. “Ukraine says more than 116 Russia vessels hit in Sea of Azov. Ukraine claims that forces have struck 116 vessels over the past nine days in the Sea of Azov in operations targeting Russian shipping….Ukraine has ramped up its drone-producing capability and has increasingly targeted Russia’s energy infrastructure, including oil refineries, causing disruption to Russia’s production means while bringing the war home to Russians.”
        https://www.dw.com/en/ukraine-drone-attacks-azov-sea-ships-russia/a-77949717

        • Whether JimH said “blockade” or not does not change the rules for firing on commercial shipping.

Nor does your silly argument. Trump has rather scrupulously distinguished the US blockade from Iran’s non-blockade, which is the real point in terms of the laws of warfare.

          • Steve: the only thing scrupulous about Trump is his not complying with anything he says or signs (he shares the trait with your favorite colony, Israel. MQ was posting jokes about Russia: the new joke is an “Israeli ceasefire” up there with “dutch treat,” “Indian giver” etc.).

(AI) “Article 5 of the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) stipulates that Iran will facilitate the safe, toll-free passage of commercial vessels for 60 days, while conducting dialog with Oman and other Gulf states to define the strait’s future administration.” Liar Trump refused to comply with the MOU he signed and decided the US would control passage. He was just trying to get the war going again so Israel can have another month to take over Gaza and Lebanon. Now LG’s memorial service has been postponed for a month, they got 30 more days. Just like Trump gave Jerusalem to Israel (which is supposed to be an international city belonging to all faiths); and Syria; and Gaza and the West Bank now they have South Lebanon and U.S. is spending its treasure, its military stockpiles (while you Jews stockpile food for yourselves); American lives and honor.

Not only with Article 5, but Article 1: “Article One of the June 2026 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U.S. and Iran declares the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon. It also commits both sides and their allies not to initiate future wars, to refrain from threats or the use of force, and to ensure the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon.” [Hardly was the ink dry then Rubio is signing another agreement between Lebanon and Israel. Israel announced it has no intention of withdrawing from Lebanon and has the Israeli flag flying atop Beaufort Castle, Lebanon.]

“Article 11 of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the United States and Iran dictates the release of $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds.” UP FRONT. Nope, Trump ain’t done that either.

“Paragraph 1 of the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dictates that both nations refrain from the threat or use of force against each other. This section mandates the termination of military operations and legally binds both parties not to initiate any future wars or military operations” How many times has Trump threatened Iran since the MOU was signed?

P.S. What laws of warfare are you talking about? The laws Trump violated in attacking Iran, in murdering their leaders/governments, in bombing civilian infrastructure, in threatening to obliterate the country and even more civilian infrastructure, in threatening to steal all their oil, in declaring the U.S. has any say at all over what happens in the Strait of Hormuz which are the territorial waters of Iran and Oman? Trump is murdering people on the high seas (defending the drug trade for the CIA/Mossad/Meyer Lansky/Stern gang), he’s murdering people in Cuba and Gaza and he’s murdering people in Iraq and Iran. He’s also murdering Americans but scum like you could not care less as long as the western colony of Israel (the West gave up all their colonies and established Israel only to go bankrupt over it) is happy (but this will end up destroying Israel as well since all the Arabs need to do is start walking and I encourage them to do so).

            • Probably a useless exercise on my part, but, the MoU had already been broken. Probably because Trump never intended it to end hostilities, but rather to be able to pin the blame on Iran.

Re: what rules of warfare I’m talking about, the ones JimH was talking about. Y’know, the topic. Attacking commercial shipping, and, as I reread his post, noticed he even used the “b” word.

Guess I should have reread it earlier rather than take your word for it. You have a habit of making up shit.

              • The comment was about attacking commercial shipping and I notice you haven’t said a word about Zelensky attacking Russian shipping or US and it’s NATO allies seizing Russian shipping.

You have not said a word about Trump embargoing oil to Cuba either.

Or blowing up boats on the high seas because US alleges they are drug boats.

It was not legal to go into Venezuela and arrest Maduro.

It is not legal to seize Greenland.

Trump is a deranged criminal who forbids others to do what he himself does.

You are also peddling (Ju)lies that Iran can’t destroy Israel. Have you been to Israel since February 28? The people lived in bomb shelters for 40 days and it’s a prison offense to circulate pictures of the bomb damage. Israel has no chance against Iran even with nuclear weapons.

                • You are right. From context, it’s intuitively obvious to the casual observer of the meanest intelligence that JimH was not talking about any of the rest of that, and I am not the type to go off-topic.

I honestly don’t know enough about the rest of those to comment intelligently, though I can frame the relevant questions, and maybe you know and can fill in the blanks. Was Trump’s blockade against Cuba universal and effective, as in was he stopping ALL oil tankers, no matter which flag? If so, that would likely be a legal blockade.

Belligerent-flagged vessels are categorically different than neutral country-flagged vessels with regards to rules of war. Ukraine striking Russian vessels, probably OK, possibly even if they were hauling humanitarian supplies. Iran striking a Cyprus-flagged vessel? Different matter entirely. Unless it is at a state of war with Cyprus.

  12. I’m surprised things aren’t worse, to be honest. The typical American remains insouciant as long as he as porn and sportsball. Half the country approves of bombing ragheads and thinks Israel is “our greatest ally.” $4 gas is a minor inconvenience. There are no gas lines. I’m surprised the global economy hasn’t crashed yet. I’m surprised that Iran hasn’t really hit back against ZOG. I’m surprised that the Democrats are largely onboard with the unconstitutional war declared by President Bibi. Their opposition is mostly token. They are not marching in the streets like they did back in Jan. 2017 — when Trump was still publicly proclaiming “no new wars.” I’m surprised the media isn’t trying to torch Trump every chance they get like they did in his first term.

It’s all rigged by the Israel Lobby and sustained by the debt. It can’t go on forever… but when does it end?

    • Hi X,

Indeed. You raise the pertinent question: When does it end? My estimation is soon. I say that because I expect the war to go very badly, soon and when it does, it won’t be just gas that gets expensive. Necessities are already exorbitantly expensive. Food is becoming unaffordable. $50 buys next to nothing when a pack of butter costs $5 and a dozen eggs $6 and then you need to find $50 to fill your vehicle’s tank. Then the mail comes and you’ve got a $200 power bill on top of the $2,000 property tax bill and that’s right now. Imagine these things costing 50 percent more. Then sportsball and porn won’t be enough, I suspect.

      • FWIW, I looked at my new OJ container this morning, 46 oz now, last one was 52 oz, same price (11% shrinkflation).

        • Orange juice was sold in 64 oz containers not long ago. I suspect the 46 oz figure is a psy-op; maybe when people see the 4 and the 6 they’ll think 64?

          • One store I go to still sells 1 gallon of Tropicana for $12.99. If you work out what I paid for 46 oz (4.99) it’s over $14 a gallon. There has been discounting on the smaller sizes to play within those parameters but, whoa. That gallon was $9.99 two years ago and $7.99 5 years ago.

I also noticed there is less pure juice of any kind and more “mixers” and “mocktails” by the same brands. In other words, water, artificial flavors, colors, and HFCS or sugar, at a price point noticeably below the real juices for the same size.

Some folks will say don’t drink fruit juice because sugar but I swear by a minimum hit of Vitamin C every morning and, knock on wood, I’m pretty healthy.

            • I don’t get the whole “don’t drink fruit juice” thing as most of us grew up with those frozen concentrated orange juice cans and there were very few obese people in the 70s/80s. It is the HFCS that has been added that makes most beverages out there undrinkable. You could even have the occasional Coke (in a 12 oz can or bottle) without any ill effect back then.

Notice how the move in the beer section towards dominance by vile “alcopops”. Sickly sweet and loaded with HFCS like everything else.

              • You also never hear a peep from the earth firsters about the noticeable increase in the trash stream from selling all that packaging filled with water and air.

      • A dozen eggs $6? $1.47 here, day before yesterday. 18 organic cage-free brown eggs $3.83. $4 is about what we pay for 2# of Amish roll butter.

But whatever. Didn’t you notice core CPI went negative for the first time since Trump’s first term? At long last, it’s looking like the “money printer go brrrr” from Covid and Bidet has about run its course.

        • In the U.S., a 1 lb box of Land O Lakes butter (four sticks) usually costs between \(\$4.40\) and \(\$7.00\). Prices average about \(\$5.50\) nationwide. This breaks down to around \(\$0.35\) to \(\$0.44\) per ounce.Prices change based on where you shop and where you live. Stores like Walmart often have lower prices. Fancy grocery stores or local corner stores charge more. For example, a 16 oz pack at Walmart costs around \(\$4.46\), while the same item at Mariano’s or QFC is closer to \(\$6.49\) to \(\$6.79\).

          Giant – Store Brand $7.79

          ALDI’s: $3.09/store brand

Satan Trump’s CPI is a lie (like everything else about him):
“grocery prices have continued to go up in 2026, though the pace of inflation has slowed down to a historic average of about 3% year-over-year. Because prices are not dropping, consumers are still paying significantly elevated baseline costs.Tracking data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) indicates the following details:Overall Increase: Supermarket and grocery store prices (food-at-home) are hovering at around a 3% annual increase, while restaurant dining costs (food-away-from-home) are climbing at a slightly faster 3.5% rate.

“Biggest Price Spikes: You will notice much higher price jumps for specific categories. Beef, sugar and sweets, fresh vegetables (like tomatoes), and non-alcoholic beverages have seen above-average inflation.

“Shrinkflation: In addition to outright price increases, hidden inflation remains common, with a notable portion of packaged food items undergoing “shrinkflation” (reduced package sizes for the same price)”

          • LoL is $4.46 per pound here, or $3.06 for the generic. But like I said, we buy from the Amish.

Yes, CPI has always been gamed. It’s why I don’t pay very much attention to it. But using the same exact guidelines, Biden’s core inflation was at least twice that, and there was nowhere near the squacking.

The biggest issue with CPI is substitution. (Shrinkflation does not change the per ounce inflation rate.) People who make do with burger instead of steak, or veggies instead of pizza is reflected in a lower CPI than it would have otherwise been.

A few months ago, I mentioned that I bought a freezer full of meat (mostly pork and poultry) on a dip in the price. Turns out it was not the bottom, so I’ve been buying to keep them topped up on the expectation that sometime they will start going back up.

            • Maybe you have a generator. Without electricity frozen meat will do you no good. Better build a smoke house–maybe the Amish supply you. Or better yet, let’s just stop spending $2 TRILLION IN ONE YEAR to fight wars for Israel that screw the rest of us (not just the American people but the entire world)!

              • What are you talking about? Why would I need a generator?

But thanks for the concern. Yes, I have a wood gas setup with a turbine generator, so it is quiet enough not to be able to hear from the road.

              • Dude, eggs are free where I’m at. The chickens, like, just lay ‘em in my hands when I walk into the coop over to the house next door here in Amish country. Plus, Biden’s money printing has “run its course”, dont’cha know? Prices are gonna drop like a rock as soon as Iran’s bridges and power plants are bombed back to the Stone Age. Maybe yo-yo a bit. Or somethin’. /s

                • Hi Funk,

Yeah. I wish I knew where Steve is shopping! In my area, you can sometimes find the worst quality/battery-hen eggs for around $4 a dozen. Eggs you might actually want to eat cost around $6 per dozen. Best deal I have been able to find on butter (real butter, not “butter” augmented with seed oils) is about $5 per pack. Even peanut butter is getting to be a rich man’s food.

                  • AI: “Nationwide, a dozen large Grade A eggs average about $2.15 to $2.60. Standard 12-count eggs typically cost $1.50 to $2.00 at budget stores, while specialty options (organic or pasture-raised) range from $4.00 to $6.00+ per dozen.

Pity the people in low income housing or in apartment complexes in poorer areas. (AI) “Groceries are often effectively higher near low-income people because many lower-income neighborhoods lack full-service supermarkets and force shoppers to rely on smaller format stores, where prices for staples can be up to 30% to 50% higher. This dynamic—often referred to as living in a “food desert”—means low-income households disproportionately rely on convenience stores, gas stations, or dollar stores that have higher markups, less variety, and smaller package sizes. By contrast, larger supermarkets in suburban or wealthier areas typically offer bulk discounts and lower base prices.Interestingly, despite paying higher prices per unit at these localized stores, overall food budgets for low-income households usually remain lower in total dollars because they are forced to make more economical food choices and buy lower-quality items.”

People wonder why the poor are obese and get asthma it’s because they buy their groceries at the dollar store–or the one “full service” store near them that jacks up all the prices.

                  • Food is my medicine so I don’t hedonically adjust my intake to save a buck. The chocolate ration “increases”, shrinkflation and the fugazy-ification of everything gets tiresome. Oh, and the gaslighting by the OF partisans, too.

                    • Hi Funk,

I share that ideal – about food being medicine. But I am now at the point that I have to start adding some Goy Slop to my diet because I am no longer able to afford buying just the god stuff. I’ve stopped buying Kerry Gold butter, for instance. The stuff is close to $7 for a pack. I just bought some no-name peanut butter, too – because I can’t abide paying $6 for a bottle that cost $1.50 within my memory.

I hope I live to see the day when the people responsible for this are strung up along the side of the road.

        • Why I love Thomas Massie and why he reminds me of Thomas Jefferson: “A chicken-tractor is a mobile pen with no bottom that allows chickens to be raised on pasture without being eaten by predators. I invented an automated one that runs on sunlight and stores rainwater.
It’s powered by a solar panel & capacitors, so I call it the Clucks Capacitor!”
[not sure if it is possible/would make sense for EP to get own chickens]

He has done a lot in congress to try get deregulation for beef and dairy. (AI) “Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) is a cattle farmer and vocal advocate for food freedom who champions legislation to deregulate the processing and sale of beef and dairy. He introduced the PRIME Act to permit states to legalize the sale of custom-slaughtered meat and the Interstate Milk Freedom Act to protect raw dairy sales.”

      • Life in the Soviet of Washington:

$6.60 for pure 92 gas (the Harley gets this)

Near $5.00 for everyday 10% alcohol 87 for the Jeep. So, a 3/4 tanks worth is $75 or so.

Here in Central WA, a supplier for the daughter’s shop in town is now on a 2 week delivery schedule instead of every week.

The ripple effects of expensive fuel are just getting started. Check YouTube “Palouse wheat harvest” those videos of miles of wheat to be harvested then what happens this Fall when diesel goes short supply and what is available is a king’s ransom per gallon.

    • The war will continue indefinitely. Lots of elites are making money from arms and expensive oil/gas, morality be damned. Until the downside exceeds the upside for them, it will go on.

    • It doesn’t end.

As Julian Assange pointed out, the wars aren’t meant to be won or lost, they’re meant to be continuous. They’re about washing money out of the tax base of western populations to build the wealth of international corporate elites. We lost in Afghanistan, but $2.3 trillion in costs didn’t go nowhere. Where did that money go? We may or may not lose in Ukraine and Iran, but how much peasant labor financed those wars, and who ended up with the cash?

And after Iran and Ukraine, who’s next? Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Turkey, China – endless possibilities for the Empire. It goes on as long as we can be forced to pay for it.

  13. ‘Israel’s Transportation Minister placed a limit on how many of these jets can land at Ben Gurion Airport. The move comes despite an increase in fighting between the U.S. and Iran.

“Hundreds of thousands of plane tickets were bought by Israelis to fly and enjoy their summer vacation,” Miri Regev said earlier on Tuesday. “We promised that we will enable commercial flights and we will not cancel a single ticket because of American goyim refueling planes.”

Ahhh, the familiar knife in the back from our Israeli fake friends!

Why did the Israeli scorpion sting the American frog dutifully ferrying it across the river? Because that’s its perfidious nature.

    Death to the IDF.

  14. ‘Public sentiment toward Israel and its culpability for starting this war … had been souring.’ — eric

Even in Clowngress — the last crew on earth to get a clue about anything — yesterday 104 members supported Rep Thomas Massie’s amendment to the State Department appropriation bill, to stop handing $3.3 billion a year of military aid to little Shitrahell.

Israel has gone possum to play us, as always. After all, as the power behind US ‘elections,’ Israel understands that now is not the time to escalate further against Americans already victimized by four-dollah gas, thanks to Israel’s stupid, evil war.

    Death to the IDF.
