Terror is terror. The Nazis were as ruthless to the populations they terrorized (which included occupied countries) as the Soviet communists. At best, the older generations might just *almost* be able get there, and then only on a good day…it’s too painful for them to go any farther.

I don’t think most schoolboys know this stuff anymore unless they are millennial or older, or are recently from Europe. Partly because of boomer parents and greatest generation grandparents. I’ve spoken with a number of gen z born here of central/ southern American origin and most are clueless as to what happened in Europe 80 years ago or the lessons learned of human nature and power. Hate to be pedantic here, but “every schoolboy” knows fuck-all about World War II and about history in general. If you were to talk to actual schoolboys you’d find that they have no idea when WWII took place or who fought in it. Ditto for the Civil War and Vietnam.

In 1919 the Jews Kurt Eisner and Ernst Tollner declared a Soviet Republic in Bavaria. That same year the Jew Bela Kun declared a Soviet Republic in Hungary. In 1920 Rosa Luxemburg, a Jewess, along with the communist party of Germany, tried to overthrow the government in Berlin.

Most importantly, in 1920, the Jew Leon Trotsky, commander of the Red Army, conquered Ukraine and marched into the newly-created Poland. The Poles were in headlong retreat before the communist forces, and Trotsky was only defeated in a last-ditch effort by Pilsudski in the Battle of Warsaw. Had Pilsudski lost, Trotsky would have marched right into Germany unopposed and conquered it in the name of Soviet communism.

One need not agree with everything that Chancellor Hitler and his NSDAP stood for to understand that these are the true facts — facts that not just schoolboys, but 99% of Americans including educators and historians, either do not know or deliberately omit.

My brother just retired as a History and Economics teacher in High School. I often challenged him to have at least one class on the Soviet Union and Mao’s China. Communism was as big or bigger event than WW2 to which 100mm went either directly to their deaths or after extracting some labor from them died in ice cold gulags. Although as libertarian as I am, my brother had a curriculum dictated to him to which he taught as best he could with some flexibility of debate to be introduced.
