  1. I have this theory that most people live inside a bubble of “negative knowledge”. What they fervently believe to be true (or the absolute truth) is actually fiction. Taking myself as an example, I was raised in a strict Catholic family, forced to attend Catholic school for 12 (long) years – and I was taught all of that Christian information – which I later determined to be all totally false. No such thing as heaven, hell, Jesus, salvation, sin, etc. That information is all false, I have determined it to be false by careful study and reading books like “Caesar’s Messiah” by Atwill.

This really makes me wonder about my society, it appears to me nearly everyone is mentally ill and their brains full of false information.

Society had attempted to pull the wool over my eyes by indoctrinating me into a pro-state religious cult. Everything I was being taught was an attempt to make me an obedient worker slave. Instead of being that, I decided to be a Libertarian minded person, having read many Libertarian authors who convinced me that freedom was better than slavery. I do not like tax slavery, thus I do not believe in God or any duty to pay taxes or bend a knee to authority.

Anyways, where I am going with this logic diagram, is that people have negative knowledge about the central bank, and what it is really doing to us. The Fed is enslaving us with permanent inflation. (Orange man, BTW, is an inflationist, he is currently publically disembowling Jerome Powell for not lowering interest rates fast enough. Orange man wants more inflation to make his outrageous deficit spending to go away. Orange man, like the selected POTUSes before him, are all deficit spenders, they all lack fiscal discipline.)

In the interest rate chart I originally presented (below) show a “giant megaphone pattern in long bond yields. When the Fed was first created (1913), it inflated the money supply creating a huge artificial boom that became the Roaring Twenties. The new money and inflation made the stock market go way up and then it crashed. The boom was followed by a bust and the statist Jew politicians used the crisis – that they themselves created – to rob us of our gold.

FDR made owning gold illegal. That allowed the Fed to inflate even more than the first time. With WW2 and inflation, we had a huge multi-decade boom. Home prices went from $2,000 to $200,000 and up. In order to afford these inflated home prices, everyone got a 30 year mortgage.

Interest rates have gone unstable since the Fed was created. Rates went up initially, then the Great Depression sent rates to new lows. The next wave of inflation sent rates higher and higher until they went to record highs in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, click on ALL data to see it in this FRED chart:

    https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/DGS10/

Interest rates went to an all time high in 1980, then they fell to an all time low in 2020. Because of negative knowledge about the Fed and the psychological condition called Normalcy Bias, people think the situation is AOK and normal. It is not normal and not ok, the Fed system is unstable and oscillating in greater amplitudal waves as it self destructs.

The real situation is even greater instability than the 1920’s boom and 1930s bust. The current “everything bubble” unwind could put us into an even greater depression. With BRICS coming on line, Orange Turd the “peace candidate” is taking us into WW3 to save the evil Rothschild exploitive banking system. It is obvious mad man Trump’s policies are leading us to self destruction – interest rates are now marching higher – and go easily go to higher highs than the 1980s.

  2. Apparently, hell can freeze over.

Bessent Blasts the Fed for QE, its “Perverse Incentives” for Fiscal “Irresponsibility,” “Wealth Effect” Policies, “Class and Generational Disparities,” Failure on Inflation… Oh I So Agree

“This harmful cycle concentrated national wealth among those who already owned assets”: Bessent.
By Wolf Richter for WOLF STREET.

Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent came out today with an essay in the WSJ that blasted the Fed for its “extraordinary” and “nonstandard” monetary policies since 2008, such as QE; its “pursuit of the Wealth Effect”; its interventions that became a “de facto backstop for asset owners,” thereby concentrating “national wealth among those who already owned assets.” He blasted the Fed as bank regulator, citing the SVB collapse. He skewered the Fed for having caused home prices to soar, while “younger and less affluent households, shut out of ownership and hit hardest by inflation, missed out on appreciation.”

like we said a million times over, QE was how the 1% robbed the 99%

Charles Hugh Smith wrote about this for at least a decade

  3. Other Trump-related stuff:

‘U.S. immigration officials had raided the construction site of a major Hyundai-LG plant in Georgia on Thursday, arresting hundreds of South Korean citizens.

‘U.S. officials said they had arrested 475 people during the raid, in Ellabell, Ga., because they were in the country illegally or working unlawfully. Most of them were South Korean nationals who had been sent to help finish building an electric-car battery factory. Most were subcontractors working for the carmaker Hyundai and the battery maker LG Energy Solution, South Korean companies that share ownership of the plant.

‘When they were arrested, the LG employees were on business trips with various visas or under a visa waiver program to provide technical guidance for building the battery factory.’ — NYT

Years ago, I was a consultant on a similar set-up on a pier in Brooklyn. A Japanese industrial company brought in dozens of Japanese as so-called technical advisors. But they were just ordinary laborers, working on the production line. Later, the company replaced the Japanese with local Koreans hired through a labor broker.

Two main reasons, from the foreign company’s point of view: 1. American workers are lazy. 2. Japanese and Korean workers are impervious to union organizers. When approached to sign a union card, they are instructed to say ‘No Engrish.’

And the game goes on …
