Here’s the latest reader question, along with my reply!

Krishna asks: I am a reader of your blog and have participated by asking questions, to which you have graciously replied. That being said, I am now a first-time car buyer, and I started looking at your web site for help, tips, and other advice. I will be moving to Fort Collins, Colorado very shortly. With all that being said, are there any tips/advice you’d be able to offer me? Any dangers that I should be aware of in order to avoid? At your earliest convenience, please let me know what you can.

My reply: I wrote a little book about two years ago – Don’t Get Taken for a Ride! – which addresses the main things. It’s available for free; people used to be able to download it directly from the main page but then the site got hacked and that feature got lost. However, if you or anyone else sends me an email requesting a copy, I will send you a copy!

  1. If you’re moving to Ft. Collins you must be so well set up financially you can buy anything you like. If you aren’t wealthy, you’ll be poor soon enough. I’m sure they wouldn’t even let me in Macy’s.
