Here’s the audio of last week’s chat with Bill Meyer over at KMED Radio in Oregon. We had to work around a delay caused by my forgetting about a Dental Quack appointment I had!

  1. One of my favorite old TV shows is The Beverly Hillbillies. For those who’ve never seen the show before, Jed Clampett was a hillbilly who lived in a cabin out in the woods, along with his family. became a millionaire upon striking oil out in the woods, but even though he and his family became quite wealthy overnight and moved to Beverly Hills, CA, their ways largely stayed the same. The bank that stored their money had a money hungry president named Milburn Drysdale. Drysdale’s wife often looked down on the Clampetts, calling them pejorative names like “Dreadful Hillbillies”.
