Nothing you can say will sway them. They are immune to facts and have no principles that transcend their loyalty to the Leader. It is the greatest irony, in part because they are unable to see it. These are the very people who voted hard for Trump because they were outraged by the duplicity and double-dealing of the Left, as for example the suppression by the latter of speech the Left didn’t like while pretending to defend the idea of free speech. Does it ring familiar? Not to the cultists who have, perhaps, huffed to much hopium.
But probably half of us who didn’t vote for what’s happening have had enough – add are no longer going along with “the plan” – at least insofar as it demands mindless, lock-step amen-shouting of anything the Orange Man says must be amen’d. We do not believe in Orange Jesus anymore. We want what he said he was going to do – as opposed to the opposite of that. If he continues to do the opposite, we’re done with him. Better to deal with an enemy outright than a false friend.
If this rift is not sewn back together – by Trump, who is the only one who can do that – the one-year-away midterms are likely to be as devastating to the Make America Great Again movement as the recent elections in Virginia, New Jersey and New York City portend they will be. It is whistling past the graveyard to argue – as some fools do – that what happened in New York City, New Jersey and Virginia was just the Left Gonna Left. While there is an element of truth to that, the lie is that’s all there was to it.
MAGA is in trouble – because of its leader, who is becoming a liability but seems not to understand this. On the other hand, perhaps he does. Perhaps it is all part of the plan.

In many New Age books I’ve read, many of them talk about the need for experiential life events that lead to personal transformation. It is no longer a question – as it was, for a long time, of choosing (sic) a slightly less-worse variant of statism; e.g., a “win” means we pay a slightly lowered tax rate, etc. Trump is dangerous – to us. To your kids’ future. The man is a pathological narcissist who will do anything to glorify his own sick perception of his magnificence; to advance his interests or those of the people who own him. Shapiro was the first guy I ran into who explained Zionism as a nationalist movement that rejected the religious aspects of Jewry. I hope more come around. I feel a lot right now the way I felt during the worst of “COVID” when I was almost the only person I knew who refused to “mask up” or play Sickness Kabuki.

Eric, if there’s one thing I learned very early-on, it’s that the majority will ALWAYS drink the Kool-Aid. The propaganda works on them. If something becomes blatantly obvious and it becomes apparent that they were the victims of lies, they will fall for the same lies next time, again. (They can stand on a stage admitting that masks and ‘social distancing’ were total ruses, and yet people still believe in it and comply)..
The crowd is always wrong; Always rushes to do the wrong thing; Always rebuffs the truth, and always casts rocks at YOU for not joining them or not ‘doing what you’re told”. You can be proven 100% right, but the very next day they will forget and throw rocks at you again for telling the truth.
If you ever think you can relax and find yourself agreeing with them, be very afraid, because it’s a sure sign you’ve landed on the wrong side. As long as they revile you and count you their enemy, you’re probably doing good.
We will always be in the tiniest minority. Not even a sizeable well-recognized minority. We are the outliers who see more clearly; who have resisted the indoctrination; Who manage to figure things out.
We stand alone. We stand proudly. We have no country. We occasionally come across a rare soul who may see a glimmer of light, and may question the narratives, and who may come to join us, but we will never affect the majority or even a tiny minority.
All we can do is to try and procure our own liberty to live our lives as freely as possible, and speak the truth; but there is no sense even worrying about the majority, or in thinking that we may convert them- as if they will somehow be swayed when they see that were right about something, or 100 things. Their traditions and religion of statism, and the endless propaganda are overwhelming, and we are but a grain of sand on the beach. They do not have the character nor the penchant for liberty that would cause them to join us. They are quite happy with their bread and circuses, and see US as a threat to those things, while imagining that those who pose the actual threat to them are their defenders.
Once you realize this, you can move on. A weight is removed from your shoulders. You stop hoping in the that in which there is no hope. It’s been this way throughout the history of humankind. It’s not going to change. It only gets worse.
Well said Arthur. What you said is how I see things and over the last decade or so it has made me realize that, as morbid and defeating as this sounds, but it’s made me realize that death is preferable to what the future has in store. I simply don’t see people banding together to defeat what needs defeated. I’ll hold out hope we do, as humans. But when all I want is a half-acre of land, a small garden, some peace and quiet, and a simple job to afford a few things from others and I can’t get even that? Psh.
I suppose I’m too agnostic to believe that God/Jesus will help us and deliver us from evil.
I’ve read that after a Roman general’s victory in war, a slave known as an auriga would ride in the chariot behind him, whispering “Memento Homo” or “Remember, you are only a man,” to remind the general of his mortality amidst the celebration of his triumph.
Sadly there appears to be no one performing the same role for the “Golden Golem of Greatness”. Perhaps he will grasp this fact soon but as he’s surrounded by sycophants and Israel firsters I doubt he ever will. Perhaps that is why when people of his own party demand he fulfill his campaign promises or see what’s actually going on he throws a hissy fit.
When MAGA falls apart, the Democratic Socialists (an oxymoron if there ever was one) will likely take over. And when that happens, we’ll look at the present mess as the good old days.

They’re going with Democratic Socialist because National Socialist was already taken. As H.L. Mencken said “Americans know what they want and they’ll get it good and hard”. Midterms will be “interesting” to be sure.

Or, it’ll just be More, in-your-face? …It’ll be the same as it has been: You don’t truly own sheet, you’re not at Liberty, and you have an overlord.
The situation between ‘ruled’ and ‘ruler’ will just be more clear. But, it’s always/mostly, been this way.
