How dare David do Buick dirty like that! Haha.. I mean, it’s a salient point. But still… I love all old GM products, and Buick is by far my favorite. I understand why they got the bad rep later in life, but Pontiac wasn’t much better with their plastic “sporty” cars.
In the old GM hierarchy, Buick should be put to rest after Pontiac and Olds. GM would have never let Cadillac go bc of the message it would send (look at them now, LOL – aside from the performance sedans, which is hard to even believe they still exist, they offer nothing of interest). And of course Chevrolet has 5000 different models and 99.8% of GM sales so it ain’t going nowhere. If they hadn’t wasted so much money on foibles like Saturn and Hummer amongst many others, perhaps all the old founders would still be around. It is truly sad times for auto enthusiasts. We are rolling the cart around yelling “bring out yer dead!”

Buick once made beautiful, elegant cars such as the Riviera of the ’60s and early ’70s as well as wonderful yachts such as the Electra 225. It’s sad what Buick is now.

I say shut it down. All of it. Send Congress home. No Congressional member should receive one cent of pay. Most of them don’t bother to show up for work half the time anyway. My guess is the Trump Administration wanted this, because eight Elephants chose not to show up to vote last week. What valid excuse did they have not to be at work? Hopefully, the next shoe to drop will be foreign aid. If the US Treasury isn’t transferring funds it is going to be pretty hard for Ukraine, Israel, and the other 190+ countries to receive American taxpayer dollars.
