Peace for Two Weeks

75
1945

The British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain became a kind of archetype of naivety when he proclaimed “peace in our time” with what was then the Greater German Reich – because time soon ran out. It appears the same has happened – sooner – in our time. The United States is back to bombing Iran; Trump says the Memorandum of Agreement signed just a few weeks ago is now “over.”

Well, it never really was.

The MOE was a victory for the Iranians. More specifically, it was an admission of defeat by the United States – which agreed to all of Iran’s terms. These included continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, a fact Trump has tried to efface by talking up that the Strait is (well, was) open again. That part was true. It is also true that Iranians never agreed to surrender control over the Strait or cease charging a kind of toll for passage.

The big question now – one of them – at any rate – is whether Iran will resume attacks on Israel. Odds are it will – because not attacking Israel would be (from the Iranian point-of-view) something like the Russians not attacking NATO countries that continue to aid and abet the regime in Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeev. It is remarkable that – so far – the Russians have abstained from leveling NATO headquarters in Brussels. How much longer they will abstain remains to be seen. Same goes for the Iranians. After all, it is not primarily the United States that is the enemy of Iran. The United States is merely a kind of lumbering Golem acting on behalf of Israel.

Trump says – about the Iranians – “I don’t want to deal with them anymore. They’re scum. They’re sick people. There’s something wrong with them. They’re cuckoo. As far as I’m concerned, it’s over.”

Well, same back at you say the Iranians – probably.

It was “cuckoo” to start this war in the first place as there was no good reason to start it. Having started it – and not won it – it is not surprising Trump doesn’t want to “deal with them anymore.” He never did want to deal – he wanted to dominate and destroy – and the Iranians know that, too. They are not, after all, stupid people. Trump no doubt assumed they were. He assumes everyone is. Because he considers everyone else a sucker. It is the art of his dealings.

Trump also assumed he could “regime change” them after a few days – perhaps a couple of weeks – of shock-and-awe bombardment. That assumption proved erroneous. It must be galling for Trump, who more than anything else cannot abide being seen as a loser.

Well, he is – because he has.

“Sick people”? Was it the Iranians who deliberately attacked (and double tapped) a girls’ school, killing more than 100 girls? That’s pretty actually sick by any sane measure. “There’s something wrong with them”? For not rolling over and accepting the attempted regime-changing of their country?

For hitting back?

Now the worry is what Trump will do next. The war is no more popular now than it was a couple of weeks ago. Americans are not interested in paying even $3 for a gallon of gas for the sake of regime-changing Iran. Gas is apt to head back to $4 per gallon now – and possibly higher. Worse, a couple of weeks of peace has not been enough time to get the world’s supply of crude oil back to where it was – or even close. This is an important thing to understand because it is probably true that Trump paused the war a couple of weeks ago because it finally got through his thick skull that reserves – which were propping up the supply – were on the verge of running out. When they do, $4 per gallon gas will seem cheap. Assuming there is gas available to buy.

The Iranians know this also. It is the leverage they have over Trump. They can gimp the world economy and by doing that, gimp Trump. So what will Trump do about it? What can he do about it?

Will more shock and awe work? It hasn’t so far.  What makes anyone think it will work again? Bombing Harder has become something like Voting Harder. This leaves Trump in a No Way Out situation. Unless he accepts Iranian control over the Strait, which is about as likely as Trump accepting that his hair is no longer golden blonde.

The only thing I can see that would change the paradigm would be a “new Pearl Harbor,” in the words of the Partnership for a New American Century, which was really all about a new Israeli century. Is it time to pin the tail on the Iranian donkey? To summon War Fever that isn’t exactly roiling right now? It worked on that September morning a quarter century ago.

We may soon see whether it will work again, in our time.

  1. Covid was the tell that, but for a handful of small African countries, the whole world is under one rule. Y’all pin it all on Jews, because you’re fucking retards, or fucking dishonest. If truth matters to any of you, please for the love of God stop scapegoating and regurgitating mainstream talking points. This site doesn’t have to be Stormfront for gearheads, but that’s exactly what it is. Eric, you’re more responsible than anyone for it – You deserve to live in Virginia.

    • Max,

You toss out imprecations but don’t address facts. Why is it that there’s no “anti-Switizerism” (to coin a neologism)? Switzerland is a small country, like Israel. But – unlike Israel – Switzerland does not seek to become Greater Switzerland. It does not send Swiss “settlers” to encroach upon other people’s land. It does not send its army to attack neighboring countries. Switzerland is a multi-ethnic actual democracy in which every Swiss has equal political and legal rights. You can be married in Switzerland in a civil ceremony that has the same legal standing as a religious marriage (unlike in Israel, where civil marriages between Jews and non-Jews are not accorded the same legal legitimacy). No one has ever accused the Swiss government of war crimes; the current leader of the state of Israel is a literally indicted war criminal with the blood of at least 70,000 people on his hands. Prior leaders such as Begin and Barak were implicated in terrorist attacks. You do not see the Swiss flag outside of every other U.S. congressman’s office. There is no powerful Swiss Lobby that effectively controls the political process of this country and that actively seeks to criminalize mere questioning of anything the state of Israel does as “anti-Semitic.” This country got into a war because the leader of the state of Israel egged it on. Trump openly admitted this to be so.

      I could go on.

I have nothing against a man on account of his having been born into a particular religious tradition or because his skin is whatever color it is. I have a great deal against vile doctrines such as Zionism and evil states such as Israel.

Your attempt to equate this with “ant-Semitism” is weak brew. It is failing generally. People see and understand – and they tire of having their motives impugned to silence their legitimate questioning.

  2. Nicholas Lemann — the former dean of Columbia Journalism School — bluntly explains why ‘dual-loyalty Jew’ is no antisemitic stereotype:

‘The idea that a psychological divorce from Israel is possible seems fanciful. Almost half of all Jews live there; many members of my congregation have Israeli friends and relatives. Most of us are regular visitors.

‘Thriving synagogues where Israel isn’t mentioned, where the Israeli flag isn’t displayed, where the congregation doesn’t say a weekly prayer for the Jewish state, are rare. Three-quarters of American Jews agree that Israel is “vital for the long-term future of the Jewish people.”

‘All this makes the idea that Israel and Zionism can easily be factored out of American Jewish life seem almost fantastical. It asks us to give up a portion of our souls. We are, historically and also in the present, much more outsiders than insiders.

‘Understanding [the collective failings of our people] makes for a better vantage point to contemplate the situation of Israel today than being subjected to litmus tests about Zionism from people who don’t understand how deeply embedded it is in most Jewish hearts.’

    https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/06/opinion/jewish-america-identity.html

Lemann makes clear why Americans can never co-exist with an unassimilable, fifth-column tribe dedicated to the racist, land-thieving hate cult of Zionism — and to making us pay for it.

    Smite the zionites.

    • How many tribes of Jews live inside your head, and what room is there for anything of substance, or any original ideas which you didn’t scrape from the internet but thought through from start to finish for yourself? Are you a man or a weed?
Be honest and shame the devil.

  3. Eric said “The United States is back to bombing Iran; Trump says the Memorandum of Agreement signed just a few weeks ago is now “over.” Well, it never really was.””

Today is the 3rd day of the new bombing campaign. This means the MoU was a ruse while Trump was building up and repositioning the forces for a bigger military campaign.

Once again the conspiracy theorist were correct, the MoU was a ruse all along. Once again my advice to ignore Trump was spot on, he is lying his ass off all time.

Once again the correct understanding is the Israel controls the Trump regime and is using the USA like toilet paper to destroy Iran, however the USA is being destroyed also – which is perfectly ok with the Talmudic supremacists. Anyone hanging on to Trump’s false hopes of peace is a damn fool. Trump is playing you.

Gaza today, the USA tomorrow. It may come as a big surprise to Bible tards and cuckservatives that Israel wants to kill all Amerikans and whites also. It might surprise some that Trump is the biggest traitor in Amerikan history. It might upset some retards that Trump needs to be put to death, all his assets seized to pay for his crimes against Iran.

Trump’s Iran war is illegal, unconstitutional, and treasonous. Trump needs to be arrested, courts martialed, then put up against the West Wing and shot dead by a military firing squad.

    • Well, when the Jews discover the “Colorado River Scrolls” which grant them “Land title from G_d” for everything from the (Colorado) river to the Pacific Ocean, I intend to resist.
I *will* die in the process (should it come to that) but maybe I will be able to take a few of these evil bastards with me. Inshallah.

    • That’s cool how you frame exactly what the correct understanding of the World Wrestling Entertainment program is, and how the host of the forum agrees 100% with you.
A bit disappointing that nobody here calls the both of you out for framing a false narrative and leading the sheep astray. Wolves, the both of you. Your sheep’s clothing is threadbare and needs mending.

      • Max,

You keep saying it’s a “false narrative” and that I “100 percent agree with it” – but you have yet to respond to the specific, factual points I have adduced regarding the state of Israel. I find that telling.

  4. Is there some good news?

Sometimes I monitor the “other side” of things…

Here is a guy seething in anger at the possibility of property taxes going the way of the dinosaur:

    https://youtu.be/-Rc_EXIgiMk?si=99TueTDTTHrF8794

“Sad man, it really is sad. And it’s sweeping the country. You’re just going to see more and more… I predict, 2028, you will see mass freezing and/or elimination of property tax in, I’m gonna call, half the states in the Union…”

By the gods, I sure hope so.

    • Indeed, BaDnOn!

It’d be a godsend for me. I just had to send in a check for the “second half” of the 2026 mordita. I could sorely have used that money for things I need, selfish bastard that I am. But instead of being able to get the got-damned water filter system fixed (or get the center console for the TA) I had to “help” “the schools” – in which the “teachers” make more than I do and get the summer off, to boot.

      • Yep, Eric,

We’re the selfish ones for thinking that we can own something without paying for things that we’d never use. We’re “sick” for not paying extortion money to vampires so some people can “educate” their kids for “free” or go to a park without paying some kind of user fee, but they aren’t “sick” for stealing from us.

You know, the video was mainly referencing an (Democrat) idea to let seniors be free from property taxes, and I’d say that’s a start, but the rest of us could use a break as well. It was funny that this “Saagar” decried seniors who wanted to keep both their houses and their money, but didn’t wan’t to pay for a park so their grandkids could go play. This is funny because grandparents typically love spoiling their grandchildren, especially if they didn’t have to pay $5k, $10k, $20k, or whatever, every year, to their Neo-feudal Lords.

        • Indeed, BaDnOn –

One of the most aggravating things (to me) about this dirty business is that it does make people selfish. Out of necessity. I I didn’t have to hand over thousands to the county to avoid being evicted from my house, I’d have money available not just for myself but to help others; the ones I chose to help. And I think that’s the thing. They don’t want us choosing to help people who deserve a hand. The want us forced to hand over money to parasites – which includes themselves.

          • >the ones I chose to help.
            Yes.
I do not necessarily object to paying for the education of other peoples’ children, but I do draw the line at buying them lunch.

            • It’s mostly subsidized daycare, Adi, as I’m sure you’re aware. I’d have no problem with paying tutors to help educate my nieces or nephews or friend’s kids (or do it myself) if their parents were down-and-out, for example. But in those cases, I’d KNOW their situation and how to help best.

Not just “It pays the taxes or it gets the hose again”.

    • I pay the South Carolina county I reside in $316/month just to live in my own house. The only benefit I get from that is access to a county ‘green box’ site (7 miles from my house) where I can drop off my trash in a county dumpster. Nothing but household trash (oh, and used motor oil rarely when the vat isn’t full) — everything else I have to haul to the county landfill and pay $55 per load (20 miles away).

      • That’s NUTS, StraitGate.

We have a sort of dump not too far from us that usually costs about $5 a load if it’s just our typical household trash, and that’s for about a month’s worth.

If not for that, we’d do a lot of trash burning.

    • Holy shit dude! That video and those comments are completely, utterly insane! Just when I get hopeful that maybe – just maybe – we can bridge some of our present divisions, I see stuff like that and snap back to ugly reality. I don’t hold out much hope for living peaceably with such spiteful statists.

I couldn’t help myself, so I added my ‘commentary:’

“You’re not thinking big enough! The children are not just our collective property – they are OUR FUTURE! The only workable long-term solution is to completely BAN home ownership for people over 40. By that age, they typically no longer provide children for our public schools and our workforce (employment and 50-hour work week should be mandatory, too). They end up using more resources than they produce, so require them to allow the state to buy back their house and then redistribute it to a more deserving, productive young person 18-24. Eventually, all private property should be banned. Ultimately, the state is in the best position to ensure everyone receives their fair share of resources like food, education and water.”

How many thumbs up it gets will be illuminating…

      • Hi V –

Yup. I have mentioned it before, but it is worth repeating. I do not dislike kids; but I deeply dislike being told I “owe” money for the (so-called) education of other people’s kids. For the most part, having a kid is a choice because (for the most part) having sex is a choice. People have a right to exercise free choice. They do not have a right to compel others to pay for the consequences. The irony is that were it not for all these taxes, most people could easily afford to raise – and educate – their own kids on one income, with a provider and a homemaker to care for the kids.

      • Hey V,

My thoughts exactly. And that’s finely cynical commentary which would probably earn you many up-votes, but I’m unable to find it below the video. I was curious and wanted to check for you.

Otherwise, yes, I often think that “people are people” and search in other pastures for those who are largely like-minded but might have a few unsavory ideas. This show (Breaking Points) often has some decent and insightful commentary on the wars and Israel, for example, but this type of rabid vampirism sometimes appears.

  5. Peace for two weeks

Two weeks to stop the spread

What the hell is it with two weeks, and suckering the American public?!

New rule: Any tine anything is advertised as only lasting for two werks, it’s BS.

  6. I don’t believe that a “false flag” is going to work this time. More than a few people are on to this bullshit and we have seen the effects of regime change war in terms of the economy. What we will see is a government collapse and a possible takeover on our soil. Whether the Zionists or the Antisemites win doesn’t matter. The joos have their hand in all of it. That’s because joos aren’t a religion per se. They aren’t even people. They’re marxists. And everything seems to be proceeding to their plan. Too bad that a plurality, 35 percent of “Amerikans” are too flat thickheaded dumb to realize it. Maybe more.

  7. Don’t be like Paul Craig Roberts, who for years has claimed he doesn’t understand why Putin isn’t trying to win, and now wonders the same about the Iranian government. All of those middle east countries negotiating with the US/Israel know the plan is to destroy them. It was stated by Mike Huckabee on 60 Minutes and is even on the IDF uniforms. There is only one answer for Putin’s and Iran’s behavior in these “wars”: they have all been bribed. Remember, in both of these wars they only destroy things important for peoples’ living standards, and they call ahead before they do. This is literally the purpose of war in “The Book”, by Emmanuel Goldstein in 1984. The only question is how far down the bribes go.

    • It’s an interesting hypothesis, KMose –

It is hard to know what to make of all these inexplicable events. On the surface, the Iranians appear to have not lost – which is a kind of winning. Trump appears to be the loser. But it could all be appearances; I grant that. The possibility is unnerving because not having a sound idea about what’s going on is unnerving.

It’s why I like things I can get my hands on that are under my control.

  8. Just think what happens when El Trumpo and the cowardly congress hand over control of the military and pantygon to Israel. More spending, more debt, more wars, more murders, more hatred of the US, more disgruntlement from US citizens, more chance that Israel will demand the drafting of our citizens to fight in their wars and much more censorship here in the US.

Iran is not the true war…the true war is right here within our country…citizens verses the DC Cesspool. El Trumpo is a deep statest to the bone and they do not like people who do not bow to their terrorism and tyranny.

  9. General Trump is now in a two front war, which was a disaster for a certain German leader in World War 2:
    (1) Iran
    (2) The Reflecting Pool

He has branded political opponents “communists,” denounced critics as anti-American, lashed out at NATO allies, threatened to cut off trade with Spain, and referred to Iran’s leaders as “scum” amid the ongoing war.

The new question is: “How many thousands of Iranian civilians will Trump have to kill to free the strait of Hormuz?

    • Morning, Richard –

It’s a three-front war, actually. Trump has been cozying up to Keeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvv. Might as well have Biden. As far as “communism” – we’re apt to get just that, thanks to Trump.

  10. Egyptian football coach Hosam Hassan (before game was stolen from his team by FIFA (they’re saying because he dedicated it to Palestinians)): @19:34 We’re in a state where always even the people in Europe and around the world and in America. If there’s an animal someone was cruel to or hurt, out come human rights and animal rights and every right under the sun. But then when every single day human beings in their thousands are being killed and children and women and when when I mean look we’re sitting in air conditioning sitting in palaces sitting in apartments laid out in front of us while children whole peoples are living in tents through winter summer blazing sun here when the sun is out and the weather is hot we want air conditioning we want fans and when winter comes. We want a sealed up house, heaters, and blankets.

“The Palestinian people are out in the open air. Children, doesn’t it break our hearts? The children we see who can’t find food to eat, the sickness they’re living in, and the disease that can come from too little food, too little sleep, and too little of a living. So, if I feel nothing as a human being, and then there’s no point in me living. And any human on the face of the earth who doesn’t feel what’s happening in Palestine, regardless of whether they’re Muslim, Christian, Jewish, isn’t a human being, what’s the point of living? And if we insist on shutting our eyes, let’s decide.

“Those who hold the power to decide. Let them put themselves, put their children out to sit for one single day, even just sitting in the street, in the sun, in the rain, in the cold. Just sit there. Try it. Try it and see. See how they’d survive. I mean, when there are floods out here in our weather, everyone runs for cover. But floods hit Gaza, they hit Palestine. And people have nothing to keep warm with. Nothing. Not even from the rain. Nowhere to escape the sun. So I say, shame on us all. Shame on the whole world. Not just the Arab world and Africa. No. Shame on every one of us. And shame on the decision makers who abandon human beings just like us. like them, like us. We’re all the same. We have eyes, a face, a head, a body. I mean, these people, it’s become perfectly normal. Today, a thousand, 2,000, 3, 4,000 fell hit by a missile. Oh well, they died. Looking the other way, or it may be that people are being shown a different picture entirely. Setting religions aside, we’re talking about how animals are treated.

“When an animal is hurt, if a video comes out, say someone hurt one. Any animal in the street, we all come running. He’s going in. He must be jailed. He must stand trial. Then what about those killing people? What about the missile that comes down and kills people? Setting religions aside. I’m not talking about Islam or Christianity or Judaism. This feeling that that came out of me came from within simply because I am a human being a person like the people dying like the human beings dying. I’m a human before I have any before any I’m a human before I have any before any identity or religion Arab or foreign or whatever else believe me I thanks thanks so my message through football the world soft power I beg you I beg you all athletes all global figures whatever their religions whatever their countries maybe through a world cup we can send a message we beg you let the Palestinian people live live they want nothing else just to live”

YNET: 7.8.26 @23:17 US military: We struck about 90 targets in Iran – 10 more than yesterday
YNET: 7.8.26 @22:58 Graham Platner, Israel critic, drops out of Maine Senate race over rape allegation
    ________________
Greg Stoker who’s running for congress in TX for the Green Party had a show about Graham Platner dropping out because of NYT, WSJ, Gloria Allred interviewing every gf he ever had because he’s anti-Israel and ginned up one for jake tapper proud jew at Jew Ellison owned CNN via Politico “Adam” Wren. Platner is a marine corps veteran with PTSD. Stoker even though he is a veteran with PTSD running for office, thinks no veterans should run for office (I guess unless they’re like McCain/Kerry fake heroes with fake medals (?)). He also thinks to be progressive have to be anti-empire (anti-U.S. (?)) which Stoker became at Columbia. To him Platner is more Toby Keith. To me if men like Platner and Stoker (and the men here) don’t start taking back this country, I don’t know who is going to do it.

It’s turning out 911 is our Vietnam and we didn’t even know it. At least we finally saw the Gazan kids.

“Maine Democrat Graham Platner’s bid for Senate has looked like it may have a half-life near the bottom of the periodic table, with unsavory revelations about his personal conduct. So what’s his master plan to pull his campaign out of a stall? Ginning up the progressive base with toxic insinuations about the Jews, apparently.

““Senator Collins is bought and paid for by Benjamin Netanyahu, and she votes accordingly,” Mr. Platner’s campaign account posted on X.com on Monday. The complaint is that Ms. Collins receives donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).”

    • Odd how it’s always females crawling out of the woodwork and making unsavory accusations that brings men down. Men are obviously evil sexual predators (this includes every man on this site of course) and women are pure and innocent victims! Believe all women!

      • Apparently the accuser texted Platner that she wanted her glute massaged before he came over (and let himself in the unlocked door). Politico KNEW this but didn’t include it in their article. She revealed it in a 2nd interview w/Jacob Tapper and Ryan Grim from DropSite News heard it and decided to follow up. TYT covers the story @3:35.

@11:58 “Top Maine Democratic Party donors in recent years are Reid Hoffman, Haim Saban, and David (Larry Oracle’s son) Ellison.” David Ellison, as in the Trump ally who fired Stephen Colbert and is taking over Tik Tok, CBS News, and CNN. These [snorts] names should mean something. Saban may be the single most important AIPAC donor in the Democratic Party.

“Another big donor to the Maine Democratic party is the founder of Zynga, Mark Pincus, who said in 2024, that “an attack on Amazon is an attack on America.” It goes beyond big tech and Wall Street. Crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Freid’s partner Nishad Singh at FTX gave $100,000 to the Maine Democratic
party in 2022. By the way, Pincus uh is also an enormous supporter of Israel (as is Larry Ellison).

“Oh, look at that. All of the top donors for the Maine Democrats are all either corporate PAC donors, but really almost all of them are AIPAC donors. And they hated Graham Platner and they demanded that the press and the Democratic party destroy him. And look at that. In another wild coincidence, Graham Platner is destroyed. Okay, so if you still think these are coincidences, you’re not very bright. You can’t Oh. Oh, I wonder if people spending millions and millions of dollars against one candidate in an effort to destroy him and have the entire media behind them makes a difference and they don’t spend it any on Susan. By the way, these are the people on theoretically on the Democratic side. They destroyed their own candidate because it’s not their candidate. They don’t care if Democrats win or Republicans win. They only care if Israel wins. Why do you think they fund both parties?
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek4zPxt7avg&t=765s

It may be too late to remove Platner from the ballot so he may stay in the race after all. I hope so. The double standard is nauseating. Clinton, Biden and Trump have redacted Justice Dept. pedophile rape files. Jews had Andrew Cuomo back running for NYC mayor against Mamdani after he resigned as governor over sex harassment allegations (before he was charged with murdering the elderly during COVID). It seems works one way for Gary Hart and John Edwards, but Bill Clinton gets a 60 Minute interview to deny he’s had sex with Gennifer Flowers and uses the presidential podium to deny having sex with “that woman” and that’s the end of it (had 4-5 rape accusations but the press went after the accusers). Judge Roy More is a pedophile, Gloria Allred (h/t Steve Bannon) has a year book that proves it! Trump-backed, TX candidate Paxton was caught in Greenland (guess he’s checking out his prospective Lauder/Lutnik Payola as they get their blackmail dirt on him) and London with his mistress over July 4 weekend (and he’s running on putting “don’t commit adultery” in every TX classroom (10 Commandments)).

        • Morning, AJC –

That’s interesting re Plattner. I haven’t paid all that much attention to the situation; thank you for passing along this info.

  12. Fresh war crimes are unfolding tonight, as the US started bombing Iran at 11 pm local time.

Of course, “The US has informed Tel Aviv that it will launch powerful strikes against Iran tonight, Al Arabiya reports citing an Israeli source.”

    Honor among thieves, etc.

    Smite the zionites!

  13. Building on the resounding success of George W Shrub’s ‘Freedom Fries’ after ‘we’ attacked Iraq in 2003, the Trump entity has gone him one better:

‘The White House has launched 25 “Freedom Fuel” gas stations in an attempt to provide Americans a cheaper option at the pump.

“The FIRST Freedom Fuel Network gas station has LANDED in Philadelphia, lowering the price at the pump to $3.47 for our 47th President,” the White House wrote on the social platform X on Tuesday.

“President Trump is leading the charge to lower gas prices this summer – putting more money in your pocket.”

    https://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/5958968-white-house-launches-freedom-fuel-gas-stations/

Close observers will recall that ol’ Hugo Chávez used to sell gas for 6 cents a gallon in socialist Venezuela, in a similar example of subsidized populism.

But it will work when ‘we’ do it! (Not so much for independent gas station owners, though, when Big Gov sells fuel at or below cost.)

    • All oil producing states subsidize gasoline as far as I can tell. Libya and Iran have cheaper gas than Venezuela.
      https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/Iran/gasoline_prices

In the gulf states the people get some kind of profit sharing from the oil wealth. (AI) “Saudi Arabian citizens do not receive a direct monthly dividend or universal basic income from oil revenues. Instead, the government channels oil wealth into indirect benefits, such as zero individual income tax, heavily subsidized utilities, free public healthcare, and the Citizen’s Account Program—a targeted cash-transfer system for lower-income families.Historically, this reliance on oil revenue—driven by the state-owned oil company, Aramco and the Saudi Government Budget—supported a massive, tax-free welfare system. However, as part of their Economic Diversification Program, the kingdom has recently rolled back broad energy subsidies, implemented a 15% VAT, and pushed citizens toward the private sector to reduce dependency on oil wealth

Qataris do not receive a universal, no-strings-attached basic income, but they are provided with guaranteed public sector jobs and extensive state-funded benefits, allowing many to live very comfortably without traditional workforce participation if they choose.Because the native Qatari population is so small (about 15% of the total country), the government channels its massive fossil fuel wealth directly into citizen support. The system works in a few key ways:Guaranteed Employment: Over 85% of working citizens are employed by the government or state-owned enterprises, receiving high, tax-free salaries.Comprehensive Welfare: Citizens pay no income tax and receive free healthcare, free public education, and subsidized utilities.Marriage and Housing Grants: Newlywed couples are provided with generous, low-cost housing loans, land allotments, and direct financial assistance.Pensions: There is a robust state pension system with generous early retirement options. While citizens are not legally required to work to survive, less than 1,000 Qataris are actively unemployed. Most choose to work—predominantly in government, education, and energy sectors—while leaving labor, service, and construction jobs primarily to the country’s vast expatriate workforce.

For UAE Citizens (Emiratis): Citizens are generally entitled to free public education and healthcare, heavily subsidized utilities, and can apply for government-backed land plots or zero-interest housing loans. The government also provides social welfare stipends for limited-income families, widows, and the elderly. Regarding employment, many Emiratis hold high-paying government jobs. To encourage private-sector employment, the government’s Nafis program provides citizens with monthly salary top-ups (up to AED 7,000), pension subsidies, and child allowances. For Expatriates: Foreign residents, who make up about 85-90% of the population, do not receive government welfare, free housing, or free education. They must pay for healthcare (usually provided via employers) and private schooling. Expats do not receive direct government financial payouts and generally work in the private sector to earn their incomes.

Kuwaiti citizens receive substantial direct and indirect income and financial support from their government, funded heavily by oil revenues. While there is no standard Universal Basic Income, citizens benefit from:Guaranteed Employment: Roughly 80% of working Kuwaitis are employed in the public sector, which offers high salaries. Those seeking work receive an unemployment stipend, and private sector workers get government-issued salary subsidies.Direct Financial Grants: The government frequently issues cash handouts and occasionally writes off citizen debt.Social Allowances: Citizens receive direct monthly financial support for marriage, children, housing allowances, and student stipends.Tax-Free Status: There is no individual income tax in Kuwait.

Not sure why you would object to the Venezuelans getting the benefit of their oil (and gold) revenue instead of the corrupt politicians like Bush and Trump and those who bribe them like Paul Singer.

Trump is only subsidizing and forcing the industry to lower gas prices through the midterms (and they are still $1 higher/gallon than they were in January 2026). Just like he’s got Walmart to temporarily lower beef prices 15% til the midterms. I was at the grocery store yesterday and milk and many other things were up 10 and 15 cents.

  14. “I don’t want to deal with them anymore. They’re scum. They’re sick people. There’s something wrong with them”. My opinion of the Orange Douche, the rest of the minions in his so-called “administration”, as well as CONgress and the federal government in general. We who reside in the US are ruled by scum of this earth. Yet the “conservatives” around me and in my family look at me as if I am some sort “traitor” as I do not salute the flag, celebrate the 4th, or look at “America” like it was a favorite sportsball team.

I feel angry and alienated and sick to death of the dystopian hellworld that I have been forced into against my will.

    • I feel you on all of the, Metal Queen. How people continue the charade or even somehow fully believe the horseshit they are constantly fed is bewildering.

    • Hi MQ,

Same here. It’s wearying. I sometimes regret not having had kids and then I sometimes think it was for the best. This situation is not . . . viable.

      • Definitely understand Eric. There were several reasons for my not wanting kids the first being that I just am not “wired right” to deal with the responsibility but high up on the list is that I never really had much optimism about the future even when times were relatively “good”. Trusting my instincts has generally be a wise move.

That being said, I do feel that we all should do what we can to help kids have a less shitty future. I really do feel for them and what they have been handed.

    • Same here. I have a lot of disagreements with the right and am branded a “liberal” when I voice them. F it it’s all over anyways. At least we have a “heads up”

      • Hi Rob,

Yup. I find liberals more tolerable, in a way, than I do many “conservatives” – the ones who say they support liberty and oppose “big government” but whose positions on issues say they love government, when it benefits them or furthers some cause they support. At least with a liberal you know what you are getting. There is some cold comfort in that.

  15. The MoU was always a ruse, so were the negotiations. There can be no peace with Jewish supremacists. Only fools listen to the Orange Zionist WHORE in the White House. More here:

    https://www.unz.com/kbarrett/trumps-corruption-ruins-usas-world-cup-bid/#comment-7683282

“Trump is a clown, Vaudeville actor, a fake POTUS in service to Israel. Nothing he says matters, only fools listen to him. We should ignore him to maintain our sanity. Trump never takes the correct action – everything he touches turns to shit. Trump is not sane, he does not take sensible actions to correct his mistakes, he is once again attacking Iran tonight – which will make things worse for us. Trump could easily put our nation and world into another great depression. Trump’s foolish attacks on Iran could send oil up and stock market down.

What does matter? Trump must immediately be removed from office. The United States needs to immediately severe ties with Israel and place Israel on the terrorist nation list. All nukes we gave Israel must be retrieved before Israel uses any more on us. Bibi Netanyahu must be arrested and sent to the Hague for a good hanging. Trump’s wealth must be confiscated to pay for his war crimes against Iran. Sensible people would take these positive actions to save their nation from total ruin. Each and everyday with Trump in office the United States will suffer further humiliation, greater fiscal deficits, increased nuclear war chances. We face great internal instability because of Trump’s big, crass, out-of-control mouth and ego.

Trump is a disaster of Biblical proportions. The United States reputation is forever harmed by our endorsement and funding of the Israeli caused genocide. To recover from our failed state as a nation, all those who took AIPAC and other Jew money must be prosecuted as traitors, every Congressman who took an oath to Israel hanged for treason. By prosecuting the perps who got us in this mess the world would re-accept us a leaders. Orange Caligula must be ousted now!”

    • I wouldn’t place all the blame on Trump for ‘Murica’s downfall. The rot started with The Constitution (Hamilton’s Revenge) and was solidified under Abe the Red (T. Roosevelt call him a commie in his speech in Osawatomie, KS, link below) and it’s been down hill ever since. Trump is the albatross of this Fourth Turning. It would have been just as bad, or maybe worse, under Hilary.

      It was going to happen.

      • That’s true, Mark –

That said, the reason Trump is so exasperating is – to borrow DeNiro’s line to Stallone in Copland – he blew it. The SOB had everything lined up. Huge popular support; a demoralized and defeated Left. Does anyone remember the heady days of DOGE? Trump could have closed down the federal Department of Education and various other federal bureaucracies and refunded taxpayers a lot more than the $5,000 he promised and failed to deliver; he could have issued an executive order that the federal government would not be enforcing any “safety” standards for new cars and announced the complete suspension of CAFE. He could have pulled the US out of NATO and told Europe to pay its own way. He could have told “Bibi” to suck eggs. Americans would have cheered him as a new MacArthur.

He could have done some real good, in other words.

        Instead, he shit the bed.

        • Everything you say is true. I agree 100%.

However, I think “Trump” was inevitable due to the direction it’s been taking nearly from the start. We would eventually have a Caligula-like leader and all hell would break loose…and here we are. We are approaching a crescendo.

Having 2 great kids and 4 wonderful grandsons, I’m concerned about their future. God knows how it will all shake out. I’d like to think that should the internet remain that people of reason might be able to congeal enough humanity to lead us to a greater period of enlightenment. If rational thought cannot win the day there will never be victory. Heck, even the Chinese like having “the Good Life”. War and conflict are anathema to civilization and I’d like to think that there ARE enough people in the world to stop the major madness. Yes, sociopaths will still exist but stop giving them GovCo as a career path, for Heaven sake.

May our collapse be as peaceful as that of the Soviets.

  16. Trump never intended to actually sign on to the provisions of the MOU – Vance let that cat out of the bag a few days ago – otherwise he would have just done so. It was only about getting oil prices down, the world economy back on track, and playing for time. Ditto the war in Ukraine, where Putin plays masochistic footsie with Trump while NATO ramps up its war against Russia.

Weapons and munitions sales will drop like a stone if those wars stop. That’s not good for USA, the biggest arms dealer in the history of the world. As Lindsey Graham pointed out a while back, Americans need jobs!

  17. Unfortunately for everyone, Israel is going down. (Don’t read that wrong, I won’t be sorry to see them go). Israel most assuredly WILL resort to the Samson option, almost certainly with nuclear false flags on US soil. Then things will get interesting.

What a mess. Iran will/has beaten the overpriced US military, which is not the same as winning. I doubt nukes on Iran will do much or be contained, due to geography and geology. US empire will lose, which is good, but it leaves us with a Chinese and/or Indian empire. Russia will remain a strong but localized player.

And the empire will cling to power here at home and he tyranny and predation will get a lot worse.

    • A stupid twat shoots off his fool mouth:

“We’ll probably hit them hard again tonight,” Trump said during an appearance in Turkey alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, adding later, “because they deserve it.”

“We may put it back,” the president said of the US blockade of the strait, which previously barred Iranian ships from transiting the waterway.

“We attacked Kharg Island last night,” Trump confirmed about Tuesday’s attacks. “I said don’t touch the oil because maybe we’ll take over Kharg Island.”

He suggested more attacks could come tonight. “There’s not a thing they can do about it,” he added.

      https://tinyurl.com/ythnnbzu

Taking over Kharg Island ranks as one of the stupidest ideas in all of military history. It would end up like the retreat from Kabul, Afghanistan in 2021, with yankee occupiers fleeing like little bitches as the rightful owners take potshots at their backs.

Come on, people, better climb on board
Come on, baby, now we’re goin’ home
      Ship of fools
      Ship of fools

      — The Doors, Ship of Fools (1970)

      • Hi Jim,
I think he just wanted to get the oil futures trade going again – tip off his cronies, announce new attacks, futures go vertical, and those with the insider info make millions; repeat on the downside ‘we have a deal’ Rinse, repeat.

    • Samson option? I’ll meet that bluff, no problem. I think its like the moon landing and will sleep peacefully without worry in that event. If I’m wrong (and still here), I’ll admit it, unlike them. I don’t know of anywhere on earth that is devoid of life and will be for centuries, but supposedly they’ve been tested. People never stopped living in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Fukushima reactor leak has proven to be a big nothing, despite enenews.com saying the entire northern hemisphere would have to be evacuated to the south. I’m personally not worried at all about that Samson option. It fits a pattern.

      • I absolutely agree with you if you’re saying nuclear war is overrated in its destructiveness. If you’re claiming that nuclear weapons dont exist you’re whistling past the graveyard.

Nukes are mostly terror weapons, designed to scare a populace into submission. Their military utility is to make sure that no mass armed invasion can happen. Thus, invasion by hordes of migrants.

  18. His critics kept rubbing his nose in his loss to Iran. His extremely exaggerated ego was never going to abide that for long.

    • “His critics kept rubbing his nose in his loss to Iran”

ROFL. He has never cared about criticism unless it comes from his Jewish sponsors, his Rabbi or his genocidal buddy Bibi.

  19. This just seems like more of Trump and his retarded Roy Cohn tactics. He says the deal is off and the Iranians are sick and crazy*. It’s a waste dealing with them. Then he says his negotiators believe they can salvage a deal and that he’s open to it.

    * This coming from the man who killed their leader, his wife and grandchildren.

  20. I have to disagree with the swipe at Neville Chamberlain. I think he’s gotten an extremely raw deal from postwar historians.

Contrary to popular myth, Chamberlain was not some pusillanimous liberal weenie who didn’t have the balls to stand up to Hitler. He absolutely did the right thing at Munich in 1938.

What really happened at Munich in 1938 was that the Versailles farce finally collapsed. The Treaty of Versailles created “ethnic self-determination” for Czechs, Poles, and “Jugo-Slavs.”

    But not for Germans.

The Treaty, and the sovereignty of the nations created by it, was supposed to be enforced by the League of Nations. Since the U.S. declined to join, the de facto enforcement arm of the “League” was the British Empire.

Not only was it farcical to think that Britain would defend German sovereignty, it was equally farcical to assume that Britain would — or could — defend Czechoslovakia deep in the heart of Europe with not troops or bases there. And it was purely hypocritical to stand for Czech self-determination, but not self-determination for the millions of Sudetendeutsch.

Hitler called this bluff — and rightfully won.

Chamberlain did the right thing at Munich. People today do not appreciate that only 20 years before, his country and lost 750,000 men KIA out of a population of only 45 million, in a war on foreign soil that had nothing to do with the territorial integrity of Britain itself.

No sane politician would want a second war with Germany only two decades later over some bullshit in Czechoslovakia.

Churchill, of course, DID want a second war… but maybe Mr. Gallipoli was not as sane as his legend says he was.

    • Thank you! More factual dialogue about WWII please! Usually my only gripe about some of the articles here….EP needs to catch up on “who” bought and paid for Churchill. My .02

      • Chamberlain was foolish to enter into the agreement with Poland. It was a dumb move, unless of course your goal was to get your country into another world war.

James Corbett did an excellent documentary on the origins of the First World War and how Cecil Rhodes and his secret society basically led the world into war against Germany. I highly recommend it.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8xxVplUHL8

        • I don’t think Corbett used the word “Jew” or “Jewish” one single time. Correct me if I am wrong. He doesn’t mention that Baruch, Lenin, Trotsky were Jews, and he even omits that the Rothschilds were inbred Jews. He doesn’t talk about Jakob Schiff, the Jew, who set off the Russian Revolution or mention how Schiff had the Tsar and his family murdered in a ritual sacrifice.

Corbett is one of these limited hangouts that tries to completely white wash Jewish malfeasance from history and pin the entire orchestrated war(s) of genocide on the City of London. There are many others of this genre, like Luongo, Burlingame, Ehret and La Rouche.

        • Even that was a poisoned pig.

After the invasion of Czechoslovakia in March 1939, Britain and France offered a guarantee to Poland, promising protection if it was attacked. The Soviets hit Poland in the back at the same time as Germany attacked, but neither Britain nor France declared war on the USSR.

Germany was the target of Western European imperialism. Germany’s erstwhile foes have now joined them in what looks to be yet another major effort to expand the empire at Russia’s expense. And the bankers are standing by, ready and willing to lend the money for that, since locking the peasants into paying off the war debts for a century or more is SOP.

    • The Slovaks wanted no part of being an oppressed minority in “Czechoslovakia” any more than the Germans, the Poles or the Hungarians, all of whom were sacrificed by the Jewish lawyers at Versailles. Poland and Hungary also famously invaded the bastard country in 1938 too. Germany was actually invited in to secure the rump state of Bohemia and Moravia.

Of course the worst partisans in Slovakia in 1944 were the Czechs who immediately tried to reconquer Slovakia as soon as the Red Army finished its rampage of rape and murder.

The first thing the Slovaks did after the collapse of Judeo-Bolschevism in 1989 was try to escape from Czech brutality and oppression.

The entire WW2 narrative is just jewish lies like the hollowcost and Oct 7.

    • >But not for Germans.
The Germans came to the table at Versailles with a gun (actually, every gun in the British Royal Navy) pointed at them.
Contracts executed under duress are not enforceable. Basic principle of contract law.

  21. ‘What will Trump do about it? What can he do about it?’ — eric

‘Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s top negotiator and the speaker of its Parliament, on Wednesday accused the United States of major violations of the MOU.

‘In a post on social media, he said the violations included reinstatement of oil sanctions, U.S. strikes on southern Iran and Israel’s continued aggression in Lebanon. “The era of bullying and extortion is over. It leads nowhere. We don’t fold,” he wrote.’ — NYT

Once again, it is shown that the US is not agreement-capable. Nor is the Trump entity.

Eric speaks of the new Israel century, announced by neocon traitors ‘William Kristol’ and ‘Robert Kagan’ in 1997 under the false pretense of benefiting America, when in fact at least $10 trillion of our crushing $40 trillion debt owes to the ensuing quarter century of deranged windmill tilts in the middle eastern snakepit.

Only in retrospect will historians recognize that the US crossed a Rubicon by sending US troops to Israel as it began its genocide of Gaza in October 2023. Troop numbers were radically hiked in February 2026, as the US went whole hog defending Israel after its unilateral attack on Iran — despite the absence of any defense treaty: Israel is not our ally.

Now Israeli agents have subverted Clowngress into merging major functions of the two countries’ military and intel ops. In a video posted on Lew Rockwell’s site today, Tucker Carlson interviews former Rep. Dennis Kucinich about this gross treason.

Fact is, little Shitrahell is unlikely to survive this century. Zionism’s fundamental premise of ‘a land without people for a people without land’ was a Big Lie. Jews might actually have believed it because they regard the rest of humanity as cattle, not people. But this is their apartheid colony’s swan song, before China shoves the Israeli-hijacked, dying US empire aside.

Three generations of ruling the freaking world after WW II cooked our goose. This made sense to raging yankee egotists like the Trump entity, who regarded themselves as divinely entitled to rule, with their perfidious Hofjuden whispering in their ear. Now Israel’s betrayal snaps shut like a leg-hold trap on a cornered America. 🙁

    • Germany has been saddled with its own “Stockholm Syndrome” ever since the summation of the Second World War.
There are some brave Germans who have gone against the “official narrative” of WW2 with Germany seen as being on “the wrong side of history” and as such are (still) considered to be “the bad guys”, but they are either too few or afraid of being “outed” as “holocaust™ deniers”, subject to severe punishment, and yes, Nazis (which is unfairly still a pejorative term in Germany and in much of the rest of the civilized world).
This is especially bolstered by the (in)famous “jewish holocaust™” which was created by the Allies in order to keep Germany permanently demonized.
In fact, American Hollywood movie producers were dispatched to German labor camps (Auschwitz and others) to “film the event”. Bodies emaciated from typhus were purposely (and erroneously) described as “gas chamber victims”, as being all jews.
In fact, it was Russian jews who “rebuilt” Auschwitz after the war in its own propagandistic way, creating and amplifying engineering errors that the Germans would have never done.
From non-sealed “gas chambers” with wooden doors that “swing the wrong way” to no means for inserting and ventilating the poison gases, using a delousing agent as an ineffective “poison gas”, anyone with an engineering background can easily poke holes in all of the claims made by holocaust™ promoters.
Let’s not forget that jewish “holocaustianity™” has been deemed to be a state religion in many countries from which no deviation of belief is permitted.
Prosecution, fines and imprisonment await those who seek the truth about this false, contrived event in history. It could be safely argued that even Americans have been unwitting victims of “Stockholm Syndrome” especially when it comes to “all things holocaust™”.
It is long overdue to conduct a full, impartial, honest of all holocaust™ claims and to “let the chips fall where they may” and finally expose it as a massive fraud.
This is the only way out of the Stockholm Syndrome for Germany, the USA and the rest of the world.
The only way for the Germans to “wake up” is to throw off the jewish / American boot heels, get out of NATO and restore their long-deserved honor by getting rid of the foreign influences that still rules German society. German pride was outlawed with the summation of WW2 on terms imposed by the “allies”. It’s been long overdue to “let Germany be Germany”, unfettered by outside forces.

      • Ursula vd Pfizer, self anointed commi queen of the EU is German. Merkle was the one who originally opened the flood gates for african and muslim invaders.

I think the EU was deliberately set up with Germany in the drivers seat because Jewish power had already lobotomized Germany starting in 1945. Germany is still paying reparations to the 6000000 death camp “survivors” which shows how completely castrated the men of that once great nation are.

So now the US/UK/Norway blew up Nordstream and the Germans did nothing as their automobile industry is in full scale collapse. Merkel, Scholz and Merz literally blew up the atomic power plants across the nation and then filled their coal mines with water.

Germany, like UK, Ireland, France, Holland and all of Scandinavia is gone. The US was lost already in 1913 when the Jews got their Fed and the Income Tax.

Putin is a Lubowitzer and will do nothing about the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon, and now Iran has cucked too.

    • They were ridin’ high last Saturday, with them big yankee flags wavin’ from their pickup beds. Now Trumpstein just cut their nuts off.
