The Diesel Choco-Ration Has Been Increased

The other day, Trump did what he does and threw some slop to the goyim: Farmers and truckers will be able to put what is called “off-road” diesel into the tanks of their on-road (and off-road) diesel-powered rigs. This is presented as “relief” from the crippling cost of diesel fuel – the non “off-road” stuff, which is the same as the other stuff just not taxed the same – which is the result of Trump’s catastrophically consequential decision to attack Iran (and also to support the little “president” of Keeeeeeeev, who has been bombing Russian refineries using U.S. supplied munitions and assistance).

Note that people who are not “commercial” users will not be able to buy the “off-road” stuff.

It makes me think about the jolly idiot Parsons in Orwell’s 1984. He enthusiastically informs the novel’s main character, Winston Smith, that Big Brother has increased the choco ration. In fact, it had been reduced just a few days prior. Winston vapidly smiles – because of course Big Brother is literally watching. To be seen not smiling meant Room 101.

Were not quite there yet – though Trump is hinting we’re close. (On Oct. 8, he declared that “The White House considers anyone that uses the term, ‘Artificial Intelligence,’ as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, ‘Super Intelligence,’ THE ENEMY!”

Trump has made it more than clear – by word and deed – that he considers anyone who disagrees with him about anything to be the enemy. This includes his supporters, when they fail to support everything he says.

Back to the diesel goy slop.

“Off road” diesel is a little less expensive than on-road diesel because federal and state motor fuels taxes are not added to the price. How much is a little? How’s 24.4 cents per gallon hit you? That’s the federal tax. You can also add (or subtract) state taxes, which vary but are typically another 35-40 cents or so per gallon. Behold Trump’s slop to the goyim! They’ll be paying about 50-75 cents less per gallon – while supplies last, of course. “Off-road” diesel is dyed red – so that government agents can finger people – truckers especially – who buy it to avoid paying the taxes. There are usually separate pumps and separate tanks – and not as much “off-road” diesel available because it never needed to be, up to now due to the lower demand. Until now, “odd-road” diesel was bought exclusively by people who own off-road machinery, such as diesel-powered farm equipment. I buy the stuff for my diesel tractor. But I only buy it about twice a year because I don’t use my tractor daily or even weekly. It sits for weeks or even months. The same is generally true for most people who own diesel-powered equipment.

The point being, the supply has been paced with demand. Now Trump has done a thing to increase demand – even though the demand isn’t going to save anyone much money. On-road diesel is currently about $6.50 nationally. Subtract the federal and state taxes from that and diesel still costs well over $5 per gallon on the low end. That means it’d still cost me about $170 to tank up the ’27 Ford F250 equipped with the turbo-diesel engine I test drove about a month ago. That is certainly a bit less onerous than the $220 it’d cost to fill its 34 gallon tank with $6.50 on-road diesel – but it’s not a meaningful difference for most people in that neither fill-up is affordable. Put another way: What good does it do you if the price of a thing you can’t afford to buy is reduced a little but remains unaffordable?

Are we supposed to smile like the idiot Parson and praise the good offices of Trump?

Apparently so.
