MAGA Isn’t Dead . . . MIGA Is

Some see the recent Blue Douching as what it wasn’t. The country didn’t turn blue in less than two years’ time. It turned away in revulsion from the Israel First agenda that Trump decided to swap out for the America First agenda he ran on and won on.

Support for America First has, if anything, gotten stronger. There is far less tolerance now for the obsequious pieties about how Israel is our Greatest Ally and that Americans must “stand” with this state as if it were the same thing as the United States. It isn’t and most of us are sick of being told it is. Most if us are very sick of seeing Israeli flags outside the offices of American “representatives” – who represent the interests of Israel first. Who wear Israeli flag pins, expressing their dual loyalty – and often their dual citizenship. This is an outrageous thing and most Americans are beyond sick of it. Why is this tiny little country constantly in our faces – and in our pockets, too? Why is it that American political figures are constantly singing its praises – and accepting its donors’ dollars?

This war is the the thing that finally pushed things too far.

Trump and his MIGA cohorts told us openly it is a war for the sake of Israel. Another one. The war against Iraq was also a war for Israel, with the same Israeli – “Bibi” Netanyahu – feeding another American president bullshit about “weapons of mass destruction” that was then duly fed the American people, who ate it up because they were – at the time – still shellshocked by Nahhhhhhnnnnlevven, which easy to ascribe to the dirty doings of swarthy “musloids,” as some Israeli Firsters like to call them. This latest war was such obvious bullshit from the get-go that far fewer Americans ate it up. Most reluctantly went along in the hope it would be over quickly and – maybe – the focus would return to the problems that beset America and Americans.

Instead, Americans got hit with a massive War Tax – paid at every fill-up and also everywhere else. For what? So that Iran Can Never Have a Nuclear Weapon, bellows the podium clutching spray-tanned gorilla. He seems to believe that if he says it enough, people will agree. The recent Blue Douching made it very clear they don’t. It’s such a tedious refrain. The “Bibi” Who Cried Wolf has been crying it since the ’90s. We’re sick unto death of it, most of us. We do not believe the Iranians are out to get us. We know the Israelis have gotten us. That they effectively own the Republican Party and also the other side (if you want to call it the other side). For every Trump and Lindsey Graham, there is a Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries.

The good news is the people of this country aren’t going to stand for it anymore. The Blues who just douched the Reds are going to find that out right quick if they don’t act to end the war and end their canoodling with “Bibi,” too. Not just him, either but with anyone who tries to tell us that Israel is Our Greatest Ally and that we must “stand” by whatever it does (and pay for it, too).

That dog won’t hunt anymore.

The way forward – whether Red or Blue – is to reject outright any fealty to the state of Israel or any foreign state. Israel is not Our Greatest Ally. It is a state that operates in its self-interest and no other state or people is obligated to “stand” with it. The hectoring about Anti-Semitism! ought to be laughed out of the room. Kicked out of the room, if need  be. It is a greasy slur that is used to shut up legitimate opposition by implying illegitimate motives. It is not illegitimate to question the nauseating Israel-sucking of people like Trump and Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and Mike “end times” Huckabee and that drunken, tatted-up rapist Pete Hegseth, who can’t wait to be Jesus Hoovered up in the “rapture” he’s just itching to light off.

Tucker Carson posted a devastating video the other day that shows Trump then vs. Trump now. It also shows that MAGA was betrayed by MIGA. The midterms showed the consequences of that.

MAGA is still sound. It’s arguably what most of the people who voted Blue want and they expressed it by voting against MIGA.

A decisive majority of these voted for MAGA in ’24 – and they likely would again, if MAGA can divest itself of pernicious influence of the MIGA types. This includes pretty much every sitting GOP member of Congress save Thomas Massie and Rand Paul. Anyone with an Israeli flag outside their office or an Israeli flag pin on their lapel or who takes a penny of Israel First money from AIPAC can expect the electoral fate of the MIGA Pigs that just got shellacked.

Any American leader who stands with Americans not just first but always an resolutely is worthy of our support. Trump had it – and lost it. This in no way means MAGA is unpopular. It means Trump and his MIGA pigs are.
