Tyranny…. is here… think long and hard … aren’t you a slave… an economic slave…
Government has removed most free choice… have to have vacinations, passports, licenses, health care, social security, medicare, income tax, propery tax, got to go to school….can’t buy this, can’t buy that … must sign this .. can’t loiter…. can’t park there… and on and on…
There are so many laws that everything at the wrong time or place is a violation if someone in authority choses to detain, fine or otherwise harm you.
Think about this: Everyone at some point in their lives needs to find a toilet b4 an accident happens…. you stop the car… run out behind a tree or whatever … but if you are observed by the wrong person… you maybe fined, jailed or even labeled a sexual pervert for the rest of your life. Just one example… no common sense just authoritarian rules and regs….
No true freedom … little liberty…. and we have accepted it… the founding fathers gave us a republic for they feared the tyranny of uneducated mob ruling … breeding tyranny and big government. In the event things went astray, the bill of rights was provided, protecting individual rights. Yes individual rights, unalienable individual rights: The first amendment …gave us the ability to always speak our mind and hopefully right wrongs.. The second amendment so we would always have the means to throw off tyranny when it becomes too oppressive. These rites where given to individual Americans. Not Canadians, Not Brits, Not Green Monkeys, but to individual Americans by the founding fathers however, but they belong to all men… whether or not the individual choses to avail themselves of those rites its for the individual to decide … not mob rule, not the president, not a governor or my sunday school teacher but me.
I am an individual with god given rites to life liberty and the persuit of happiness. I will resist attempts to limit my god given rites to the day I die…
So thank you Eric for being my spokesman on the second amendment.
Thank you, Eric for all you are doing.

Thanks, Tor – and likewise!
There is a book out there by the title of “Three Felonies A Day: How the Feds Target the Innocent”… If THEY want to they could arrest every single one of us for something because there are too many laws. I found a few quotes that I believe to be quite appropriate:
“That government is best which governs least” – Thomas Paine
“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.” – Patrick Henry
“When dictatorship is a fact, revolution becomes a right.” – Victor Hugo
“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out… without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” – H.L. Mencken
They make any man who tries to live independently a felon for protecting themselves. They even make felons out of farmers who try to work on their own farms.
