Here’s video (skip the ad; the action starts about 1 minute in) of a citizen who witnessed a theft-in-progress… by an armed government worker.
The buzzcut Hut! Hut! Hutter! was apparently trying to abscond with the backpacks of a couple of teenagers. A guy in a car saw what was going on and began to film from his car, shaming the AGW – who handed the backpacks back to the kids.
Clearly, the kids hadn’t done anything actionable – under the law – else the AGW would not have sheepishly handed back their property and let them go.
What would have happened to the backpacks had no one been there to film the filching?
