At 11:30 pm eastern time, the vote total on H.Res. 566 to advance the budget resolution is 207-217, with eight Republicans yet to vote.
Even if the eight holdouts can be persuaded to vote Yea, the final total would be 215-217, a loss. Moreover, one changed vote to produce a 216-216 tie still results in a loss.
This is looking like Donnie Fubar’s Donnybrook. 🙂
Have you all been watching the fallout between Musk and Trump? Elon has been desperately trying to expose Trump and exert some leverage but has failed. But what has happened is Trump has exposed Elon Musk’s grifting. By attacking Trump, Elon got called out and Trump even stated it directly and said Elon got rich from US government money – which is true

Musk is no longer some climate hero crusader, he is a cold calculating bastard who joined the Trump campaign to save his EV and solar panel subsidies (which made him a billionaire, and if Musk was smart he would of sold off his businesses before this budget goes through and retired)
Trump took $250 million from Musk for his campaign and Trump stabbed him in his back and didn’t give him a damn thing in return. Trump took only 100 million from Jewess Miriam Adelson and got the West Bank.
Musk is a dumbass and loser – a politically naive fool who got played. Musk needs to be taken aside and told how to blackmail like Jews do it. If I was Musk I would cash out and move to South America and start over.

‘Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered a pause in sending a shipment of missiles and ammunition to Ukraine amid concern about the U.S. military’s stockpiles, according to two defense officials, two congressional officials and two sources with knowledge of the decision.
‘Hegseth ordered the delay weeks after he issued a memo ordering a review of the U.S. stockpile of munitions, which has been depleted after years of the United States’ sending weapons to Ukraine to defend against the Russia invasion, as well as nearly two years of military operations in the Middle East as the United States fought Houthi rebels in Yemen and defended Israel and allies against Iran, four of the officials said.
‘The munitions and other weapons could be held up until the assessment is complete, the two defense officials and two congressional officials said, and if the munitions are in short supply or needed in other parts of the world, they could be held back even longer.’

‘The panel adopted the procedural rule in a 7-6 vote, with two Republicans — Reps. Chip Roy (R-Texas) and Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) — siding with Democrats against the measure, showcasing their opposition to the underlying legislation over deficit concerns.
‘The hearing ran for nearly 12 hours, with Democrats needling Republicans about the bill, GOP lawmakers largely praising the measure and some hardline conservatives criticizing its contents. The panel convened at 1:30 p.m. EDT on Tuesday and gaveled out just after 1 a.m. EDT on Wednesday.’
