“Can You Hit Moscow”?

A report – not about who’s on Epstein’s list – has come out that claims Trump asked the little dictator of Ukraine whether he can “hit Moscow”? It comes on the heels of reports that Trump – egged on by the little dictator of South Carolina, Lindsey Graham – has agreed to send the other little dictator another tranche of weapons to attack the Russians with. Including – reportedly – American made missiles capable of striking targets in Moscow. Trump has also decreed that if Russia – Putin – does not end the war by September (50 days) then he, Trump, will wage economic war upon Russia by appyling punishing tariffs to all countries that trade with Russia. This of course would include Chyna, in the president’s manner of saying it.

Try to imagine how Americans – including Trump – would react if Putin publicly asked the Iranian leader whether he could “hit Washington.” And then announced he’d be sending the Iranians missiles capable of doing that. But, you see, it is different when Americans do what Trump just did. Cue the Lee Greenwood song.

Of course, the Russians see it differently. The more important question now – for us peons to ponder – is what the Russians will do if American provided missiles (probably under American technical guidance) rain down on Moscow. What do most people do when someone throws a punch at them? To expect the Russians to not punch back – to fault them for not defending themselves – is a very uniquely American psychosis. We’ll be outraged when Russian missiles fall on America.

Channeling Greta, How dare they!

That is the apparent psychosis of Trump and his Red Hats, the ones still wearing them. They are the ones now ‘splainin’ way not just the about-face on the Epstein thing but also the Keeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvv thing. Wasn’t Trump going to end the war – or at least, end our egging-on of it – on the first day or so of his second term? That went the way of the $5,000 DOGE refund (and DOGE, itself) and the crazy talk about funding the federal government via tariffs and abolishing the IRS. Instead, we’ll get REAL ID and an IRS run by Palantir  and the Tech Bros.

Never mind. Orange Man Good! No matter what he does, apparently. So long as it is Orange Man dong it.

Only “bad people” are interested in the truth about Epstein. Soon, these “bad people” are likely to be framed as “anti-Semitic” people, for raising questions about Israel and Epstein. This may account for Trump’s suddenly becoming as much an egger-onner of the war Over There – in Ukraine – as his new bestest buddy, Lindsey Graham.

Maybe there is overlap.

Maybe Trump wants – no, needs – a war (a real one) to “move the needle” away from Epstein and this very strange sudden reframing of the thing, as if someone had put a gun to the man’s head. It’s either that or he knows that public revelations about what Epstein was really up to and with whom would entail consequences worse for certain parties than a missile barrage hitting DC.

Which would only affect us.

They (this includes Trump) will be safe, deep underground – with plenty of food and water and probably many other amenities, besides. We’ll be pawing through the possibly radioactive debris, looking for whatever we can find and Esptein’s list will be the last thing on our minds.

Remember: They (and we are talking about the same cabal of people) have done this before. The Chimp had a problem, too – back in the summer of 2001. People were asking awkward questions and the questions were gettin traction. The Chimp himself was widely disliked. There was an inquiry under way as to where certain large sums of “defense” money had disappeared to.

And then – voila! – a distraction. We are war now and ah am a War President!, said The Chimp, whose approval rating soared to an unassailable 90 percent. Asking inconvenient questions became prima facie evidence that you were “with them” – as opposed to “us” – and an ally of the “enemies of Freedom.”

We got a Homeland in place of a country. What are we going to get next?

  1. BOOM! This story makes it to Zero Hedge:

“According to a “source” who spoke to the Daily Mail, “Despite the rumors, Ghislaine was never offered any kind of plea deal. She would be more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story,” adding “No-one from the government has ever asked her to share what she knows.”

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/ghislaine-ready-testify-trump-triples-down-slams-weakling-past-supporters-who-believe

    ———————

You have to wonder if these Ghizlaine Maxwell revelations are being orchestrated by Khazar mafia boss Netanyahu because Trump failed him for the last time, Trump failed to nuke Iran.

    ——————–

Ghizlaine says she knows everyone involved and I believe her. She has a powerful motivation to turn state’s evidence, she is serving a 20 year sentence and could be sprung free this year if she cuts a deal.

The treasonous Orange Zionist Elephant in the living room is going down.

    • Morning, Jack!

I wonder(once again) whether there are enough people who care left to make a difference? More finely, what can they do – other than publicly voice outrage? The government will never prosecute itself. So where does that leave us? I think it leaves us with shit on our faces, after the Orange Man spread his cheeks and dumped it there.

      • We just “experienced” another Pride Month. A time where naked men ride parade floats and urinate on each other. Apparently some will force their children to witness these events.

Those people aren’t going to care about Epstein Island. They might even condone it.

So what if all the files are released? What then? We already know that a percentage of the population won’t really care, and more won’t believe it. If they’re all released at the same time the media will make it a story for a few weeks then move on. If the files are kept away, they’ll still be useful for strong-arming your fellow politicians into doing what you want.

“Look at this picture. What’s that in your mouth?”

Fact is Trump figured out that to get his big bill passed he had to play hardball. Having Epstein Island evidence in the bottom drawer of the Resolute Desk may help him get what he wants.

And fact is, these scandals don’t really do much. The Senate page cloakroom gay sex thing should have destroyed a few careers but no. Nothing happened other than a few good monologue jokes for late night TV.

“Republican Rep. Thomas Massie originally introduced the legislation alongside Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna.

Since its announcement, five more Republicans have signed on to co-sponsor the measure: Reps. Lauren Boebert, Jeff Van Drew, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Eric Burlison, and Tim Burchett.

“We all deserve to know what’s in the Epstein files, who’s implicated, and how deep this corruption goes,” Massie wrote in a post on X on Tuesday evening. “Americans were promised justice and transparency. We’re introducing a discharge petition to force a vote in the US House of Representatives on releasing the COMPLETE files.”

  2. Huh. I did not know that the: ‘US Has Launched Over 50 Airstrikes In Somalia In 2025 But Virtually No MSM Coverage’ Did you?

“US Africa Command has announced that it launched two separate airstrikes in Somalia on Sunday, as the Trump administration is continuing to bomb the country at a record pace, an air war that is receiving virtually no coverage in US media.”

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/us-has-launched-over-50-airstrikes-somalia-year-virtually-no-msm-coverage

…Must be some kinda conspiracy theory?

  3. You voted for him too, because you also had two brain cells to rub together. Alas, I no longer take credit for the “great” things he is doing, like his DOJ suing to keep fluoride IN the drinking water. NO, not anymore. This just goes to prove MAGA wasn’t a cult. At least until now.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how things unfold from here. Last go-around, the Trump flags and banners stayed up for the longest time here in rural Red Iowa.

There were a sheet-ton of flags & banners at the beginning of this second go-around, too.

…I can’t recall the last time I saw a single Trump flag (they were all over the place) nor a big Trump banner. …Poof! Just like that, “and, it’s gone”.

      …Does that mean something?

…More spookily, does that mean the Democrats win next time? Plandemic, part Duxe? …All going according to plan? Idk.

      Strange Days, indeed.

      • If there’s a Plandemic, part Duxe, as you put it, would it not be more likely to occur under Trump? After all, he presided over the first one with “great success” (from the ruling class’s viewpoint). Moreover, the resistance to the mandates didn’t really accelerate until the Democrats came to power in 2021. It has long been my contention (well, conspiracy theory really) that Trump was brought back to power to get the conservatives who refused the clot shot in 2021 to take them under the “new and improved” Kennedy Health Department. We’ll see.

  4. Trump’s next truth social post:

“Okay listen, everybody is saying I’m a pedo because of Jeffrey Epstein but nobody knows more about not being a pedo than me, okay? They’re just jealous because I had the biggest inauguration crowd and they didn’t, this is all fake news. Total witch hunt. They’re coming after me because I’m winning so much. I don’t even know who Jeffrey Epstein is, I never met the guy, maybe I took a picture with him, but I take pictures with a lot of people, it doesn’t mean anything, I’m the least pedophilic person in the history of the world, probably ever. Nobody can believe this. It’s a disgrace, and absolute disgrace. They’re just trying to stop me from making America great again. They say Pedo this, pedo that, but I’m the least pedo person you’ve ever met, ask anyone, they’ll tell you. These are lies from very bad people, the worst people, because they know I’m the only one that can save this country. They’re terrified of me. They think if they call me apito I’ll just go away, but I won’t. I’m stronger than ever, stronger than any president in history, stronger than lincoln, stronger than washington. Nobody can beat me. This is disgrace. It’s all fake news. I did nothing wrong. Nothing. And even if I did, which I didn’t, everyone else who did it too. Obama did it. Hillary did it. Everyone, but not me. Never me. Very sad! Thank you for your attention in this matter.”

Note: I didn’t write it but it is funny as hell and spot on.

    • Of course, I was going to say even a broken clock is right twice a day. That is funny. Unlike Trump’s cover-up. Not a single person going to jail. Probablly directly at the behest of Bill Gates. We know they had control of the evidence, but the binders? Give me a break. He has shat on his biggest supporters for the last time. And I hope he gets more good stuff done. But sucking up to the war-mongerers, suing to keep fluoride in the tap water, approving clot shots for babies, he doesn’t have to ask twice that we no longer take credit for this. Just as in the first term, he was always the weakest link, and the lesser of two evils. Anyone with half a brain next to him, without all the pressure on them, could see what Trump was doing good and what he was doing bad. But schilling for the normies? He’s about to find out how awakened America has become, when he wakes up and finds that he has no base. No one to splain away the mistakes he’s made.

      • Morning, Steve –

Yes, but what will happen then? Do you think Voting Harder next time will solve anything; that is, make things better? I think what’s likely to happen is that Trump will shatter the populist-nationalist movement in the manner of Herbert Hoover. Only we’re not going to get FDR. We’re going to get an outright Communist next time.

        • I think the last election cycles will be impossible to forget. A lot of the star people Trump allied himself with this time are more MAGA than Trump. Dark Ultra MAGA next time. The real question is what is the grifter going to do. Fractioning the vote aside, sticking together and voting harder for someone who won’t capitulate for the sake of the normies. The problem with our republican beachhead is that the RINOs have figured out the script. They hate our guts but say all the right things. Of course we have to keep a look out for AIPAC recipients, and current and former CIA people. Screening for these things, it’s finding someone who won’t crack under pressure. Current benchmark for that is 6 months, apparently. As far as midterms go, that’s all we have for now. Presidential races aside, I believe the Grifter wants to see America succeed, so we’ll have to see what races this America party goes in for, to as they say, have a sizable 3rd party that will end up casting the deciding votes in congress. It’s just unfortunate that Musk, while pro-america, is pro-forcing us to buy into this EV crap, even though he knows full well CO2 is not a pollutant. Trump’s the one making progress on that front. I think our best course for now is to stick together, and ask candidates what they think about what has happened, and screen for maximum dark MAGA. If only our BS detectors were calibrated to get better than 3% reliability. The dems should be ashamed however, proving to the country that they’re the ones who ruined it. Midterms the republicans should then win even bigger, we’ve just got to apply pressure to kick a bigger share of RINOs to the curb. That’s not going to help with Trump’s party funding races for Lindsey against Massie types. But who knows what he will do if anything on getting rid of the voter fraud, which stole big in congress for the dems last november. In public I am considering donning the MAGA hat again, as I can do more damage from within, not kicking myself to the curb voluntarily because HE has gone crazy. That’s if we’re to stick together. Right now, he needs to see what his BS as of late will cost us all if it continues. Suing to keep fluoride IN the water is a big dissapointment, however the inspector general has a voicemail you can complain to your hearts content.

/RANT. Good morning to you, goodnight for me.

  5. One further comment WRT the inadvisability of poking the Russian bear. For an education in relative seriousness, sometime watch a video of Lavrov or Putin. And then watch a video of Trump or Graham. Then tell me which set of representatives has a more serious, rational approach to reality. In Ukraine, the U.S. and Western military technology has proven woefully inadequate. The individuals asserting that the RF is close to going under are either delusional or projecting….if it comes to a hot war, the West is going down hard. The shame of this is that it never had to be that way……The U.S. government, most often at the goading of Israel, has wasted a massive amount of real resources in a losing position…..as Scott Ritter says, the West is betting the house on a pair of deuces and Putin holds four kings. If we survive the coming conflict, hopefully the heads of all the war mongers will roll and I mean all of them….humanity does not deserve this kind of behaviour. Well, it’s been nice hanging with you folks…..pop up a batch of popcorn and hold onto your hats….things are getting interesting….

  6. In your video Eric you make the logical point that Trump should release all the Epstein information and let the public decide. If there’s nothing there, why not? Well something must be there because Republicans are blocking a vote in Congress to release the files.

    https://www.newsweek.com/who-voted-epstein-files-block-full-list-republicans-2099146

“Seven House Republicans (listed below) voted against a motion on Monday that would have allowed a congressional vote regarding the release of files in Jeffrey Epstein’s case.”

Looks like AIPAC has instructed their whores to block the Epstein files release.

  7. I wish Putin would drop a nuke on Keeeeeeeev, along with Tel Aviv and DC to rid the rest of us of these parasitic warmongers, especially chickenhawk Lindsey Graham.

    • I’m getting to that point myself, Mike –

Whenever I see that bug-eyed twerp, I find myself (per the Reichsmarschall) releasing the safety on my pistol…

      • Does Trump need nuclear war to save his presidency. Isn’t war the way Nutjobyahoo is staying in power right now?

    • Mike,
The RF has the capability but they need not do a nuclear strike…with the Oreshnik, they can drop multiple targets wherever they want and there’s nothing that the targets can do about it, except possibly run. The interesting thing is that the only countries that have targeted the leaders of other countries are Israel, all the time, and the U.S. for example Solemani. Once the gloves come off, the RF would be well within their legitimate powers to hit DC, London, Paris, Berlin etc. I don’t think the assholes running this shitshow understand the implications of their actions.

    • The Russians won’t do it because, unlike other actors on the international stage, they are neither reckless, stupid or thoughtless…

      • I dunno, X, Paul Craig Roberts basically calls them stupid, spineless & clueless. Plus, maybe duped. or sumthin?

…Could be, that whole, ‘One Big Club’ thing, too?

        Who knows.

  8. Trump has gone plaid, flew over the cuckoo’s nest, driven to distraction.

Anyhow, the oft-beat orange-headed stepchild of Americans has lost it, a babbling fool blathering nonsense.

For God’s sake, man, come to your senses.

You can walk away when you want, tell those dumbasses to shove it, stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.

Your choice, the Chosen don’t need any help from you or anybody else.

Their despicable behavior doesn’t wash, and doesn’t hold any water. Now pariahs throughout the world.

Better start filling the holes you’ve dug, the next one you dig isn’t going to do any good.

    • Desperate perp triples down:

On Wednesday, President Trump tripled down on his claim that the so-called Epstein List is nothing more than a Democrat hoax.

“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit’,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.

“I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” the post continues. “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!” — ZeroHedge

      LOCK HIM UP.

And keep the video cameras rolling so he doesn’t ‘suicide’ himself like his late boon companion Jeffrey E.

      • Trump is still angry with Marla Maples for sleeping with Michael Bolton.

Trump wakes up in the morning with delirium tremens.

Pink elephants circle his brain until 3:45 PM.

He then weeps uncontrollably, trapped by thoughts whirling around his confused psyche like whirling dervishes in Aleppo, doesn’t stop.

Another client for social services at this point.

Confiscate his assets due to incompetence, stupidity included.

Don’t need no steeen-kin’ due process.

  9. “There was an inquiry under way [into W] as to where certain large sums of “defense” money had disappeared to.

    And then – voila! – ”

Remember, when Slick Willy was feeling heat no aspirin factory in Somalia was safe.

    • Also, when Clinton got caught with his dick in a Jewish intern’s mouth he decided to bomb Iraq… “Operation Desert Fox.”

  10. Probably the saddest thing in this whole sordid affair is, Trump, could have ended the war in a few days. If he had cut the piano playing dwarfs $$$ off on day one, and insisted NATO do the same, then stuck with it, the epic boondoggle called Ukroid would now be a memory.

More and moar President Trumps positions and constant flip flops sound like the unhinged ravings of a lunatic mad man. Call up the bull-pen. Its time for Vance to start warming up. You could have run the table Donaldo, but ya let hubris get the better of ya.

There oughta be a law, no one over 6O in any position of Government. The oldsters in charge have nothing to offer humanity except more of the same fail they’ve peddled for the last thirty years. And why isn’t Lilly Graham in a 5X1O cell somewhere?

      • If I must have a government, let it be filled with 90 year old Ron Pauls. He has never wavered once from his libertarian principles as far as I know.

    • Norm: You at least got on base, even if the last part of the swing was not real solid. Luckily Micky and Philo brought you home.

Confession, though. I am 86 so a bit biased. It isn’t age, but fitness. All of our fearless leaders from Hoover forward have failed the fitness test.

      • I can’t think of another way to get rid of all the 6O-1OO year old dead wood blocking any real reform. We’ve pretty much established you can’t vote your way out of this mess.

As for Mr. Paul, I was honored to caucus for him in O8 and 12. You wouldn’t believe the excuses Juliani, McShame, Gingrinch, and Romney supporters used to not vote for the good Dr. In a small room with ten or fifteen people, even when there was 5 or 6 Ron Paul supporters, the establishment neocons came up with the dumbest shit ever to justify their Faux news views. I was quite embarrassed for them.

Plus, how could anyone not be for someone who’s middle name is Ernest?

As to the age thing, I know at 6O, I can barely keep up. Being President seems like a very taxing job.

  11. The most maddening thing about Trump is how he turns on his base and embraces the people that loathe him, in this case the bloodthirsty death cult known as the neocons, and will stab him in the back at the first opportunity.

He promised Epstein case transparency. Nah MAGA, it’s just a conspiracy theory. Move along.

He promised no more foreign wars. He bombs Iran, a country that we’ve been sanctioning for nearly 50 years and has done nothing to us. Now he’s embracing a losing war, getting “mad” at Putin and could put us in serious jeopardy so he can get some pats on the back from disgusting, bloodthirsty neocon pigs?

It boggles the mind. It also shows the system can’t be fixed. The ballot box is useless. Only one box remains and that’s a box I don’t want to contemplate.

    • You have hit the nail on the head….empires cannot be reformed and the true believers still supporting Trump cannot fathom the lack of difference between Trump 2.0 and Biden. The pattern repeats throughout history…the entity known as the U.S. is headed for the same destination as the U.S.S.R. Zappa in 1966 had a song It Can’t Happen Here that summed it up. Not to be a downer but rose colored glasses are not my fashion statement. Enjoy your life while you can.

      • The empire is facing a much bigger crisis than Epstaingate, the empire is 37 trillion in debt and interest rates keep edging up, yesterday the 30 year T-Bond settled above 5% again, getting closer to breaking out. I keep preaching the gospel of rising rates to the readers of this site, and keep saying that a financing crisis is near (and could be the impetus for empire collapse).

Most people can not fathom interest rates going back to 1980 highs. Why the hell not? Things are way worse than 1980.

Meanwhile the Orange BLOTUS Moron wants to fire Fed chief J-Powell for not lowering rates, when the fact is the Fed does not control rates like Trump thinks, the Fed always follows T-Bills up or down.

        https://elliottwaveuniversity.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Market-Leading-the-FED2.png

Back in 1983 I went shopping for my first mortgage on a starter home, and rates were over 17%. Needless to say, if the 30 year fixed goes to 8% it would be catastrophic to home prices.

  12. Let’s face it… Trump is doing the bidding of the CIA now. He will do whatever they order him to do, or else. Guaranteed. Just like all the rest.

They installed Trump, the anti-war, pro freedom candidate to rub our noses in it; whoever you vote into office, no matter who, will do what they are told. The message: Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter.

    CIA Psy-Ops continue unabated.

    • Hi Philo,

I heard a quote on the Jimmy Dore Show not too long ago that went something like this: “No matter who is elected President, you get John McCain.”

        • That might be news to those who voted for Kamala Harris thinking she’d bring utopia to the land. If she were President now, we’d most likely see the same $#!+ going on now if not worse. During the 2024 presidential campaign, I saw Kamala supporters on social media posting memes saying “I’m with her!” (They also said that when Hillary Clinton ran for President).

          • To quote the Fugs from Wide, Wide River…

“Was George Washington the lesser of two evils? Sometimes I wonder…”

            • Morning, Giuseppe!

Washington demanded that Adams defer to his wish that Hamilton be made his second-in-command (with the rank of Major General) in anticipation of the war with France that was never declared. Had it been declared. Hamilton would have assumed control of the federal armies and probably become America’s Napoleon. Thank God for Aaron Burr!

    • The CIA have biolabs and who knows what other black sites operating out of Ukraine to skirt American domestic laws. They don’t want their territory, and thus, secrets falling into the hands of the Ruskies.

    • No, trump is doing the bidding of satanyahoo and the mossad. Of course, the CIA is just the western thug arm of the mossad…

  13. The US and USSR were allies during WWII.

    What is going on here?

On the border between Ukraine and Russia, there is a monument that is a promise that Ukraine and Russia will remain friends forever. It is a 50 meter high structure with a mosaic mural of how Ukrainians and Russians work together.

All of that natural gas in Siberia is loaded on trains and shipped to Moscow and other destinations.

Russia is stunningly beautiful and Russians are not going to give it up without a fight.

The NATO partners had best do some serious diplomacy before it is too late. Be on friendly terms with the Ruskies, it will pay a better dividend, peace can be achieved.

The Russian bear can do some serious mauling.

Lindsey Graham won’t see one red cent of the 75 trillion dollars to be gained by defeating Russia.

It is not working and it is not going to work.

The US is on the wrong side of history and cannot possibly win.

    • “All of that natural gas in Siberia is loaded on trains and shipped to Moscow and other destinations.”

Not that you ever impressed me before with your knowledge of the world. But after this passage I cannot imagine anybody else taking any word from you seriously.

Oh, and this: “Russia is stunningly beautiful”. Have you ever visited it?

      • No, I have not been to Russia, however, I have visited Alaska and that was once Russian territory.

I watch plenty of videos on Russia, Lake Baikal, The Urals. You can see lots of landscapes from Russia on your TV.

Stop pointing your finger, but that must be something you think is necessary. Laugh all you want.

You’re a bug, not a feature. Get lost and quit bothering everybody, not that cool.

        Have a good day anyway.

          • Yes, I know there are pipelines.

            There are limits involved.

The trains haul condensed natural gas delivered to localities along the rail route, the deliveries are critical, the only means to get the natural gas where it is needed. It’s an 1100 mile rail line reaching the Siberian natural gas fields. Too far north, the reason for the rail line.

The BNSF hauls 6000 tanker cars each week. in 2010, BNSF was hauling 12,000 tanker cars a week back in ca 2011.

The Union Pacific hauls oil, Canadian Pacific hauls oil.

Hydrocarbons hauled by rail are done out of necessity.

The Chinese are hogging all that natural gas from Siberia with that huge pipeline.

          • Yes, I know I can be wrong, misinformed, even if I misinform myself.

            Everybody makes mistakes.

Not all of it, but definitely plenty of natural gas is hauled by rail in Russia.

I’ll write ‘I’m an imbecile’ 100 times on the chalkboard.

  14. This is Trump at his worst. Throwing out all sorts of contradictory statements. He wants the war to end in a day, he supposedly cut off weapons and intelligence to Ukraine, he understands Putin, he’s angry at Putin, he’s resuming weapons to Ukraine, he wants attacks on Moscow and St. Petersburg, he hints at wanting to open business back up, he wants more sanctions, he’s angry about BRICs. Then there are the retarded sounding rants on his social media. Meanwhile on the battlefield the Russians are steadily advancing. I’m sure that once this war ends Ukraine will be a destabilized mess.

  15. With Trump announcing that he’s giving weapons to Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeev, that ought to put to rest the around 10 year screeching from BlueAnon types that Trump is a “Putin Puppet”, but I doubt it will. However, with Trump’s actions and some of the stuff he’s said so far this year, I can’t help but wonder if he has the same mental issues that Joe Biden had when he was “President”. If so, could it be from the “Safe & Effective COVID vaccines”?

As for BlueAnon types, they’ve been pushing narratives that Kamala Harris really won the 2024 election, which, by their own definition of “Election denier!” would make them what they endlessly accused people who questioned the 2020 election of being.

    • John B: “If so, could it be from the “Safe & Effective COVID vaccines?”

That may have enhanced it, but Trump has always been more than a little off his rocker. He is the product of privilege. We have progressed from being led by the Senile to being led by the Insane. Or is that really progress?

I gag every time someone says what a great businessman he was. He got rich by stealing other people’s money through bankruptcies and through political connections.

  16. So far, we’ve gotten our asses handed to us in Ukraine – all our weapons and support largely useless. Then, Iran slaps the taste out of our mouth, necessitating a political exit strategy for the Orange Dufus. And now we want to poke the bear, and the dragon? Trump is insane and needs to be removed from office. TDS means literally that Trump is Deranged. Maybe his critics have been right the whole time?

    • No. His critics have been wrong. They are morons. That said, I would be a lot happier with the VP in charge than this piece of shit. Vance isn’t perfect, but remember that he once called Trump Hitler. He was the one who is right. I never give credit to Democrats. Never.

      • Hi swamp,

I think both parties need to be destroyed. What the GOP, now deemed the party of Guarding Obvious Pedophila, did yesterday makes my skin crawl. A total of 211 Republicrats in the House voted not to release the Epstein files. Then you have the conservative media with the likes of Charlie Kirk, Dinesh D’Souza, Alex Jones, Fox Media, etc. making excuses for the Administration. 🤮 I don’t want to hear this is some 4D chess play…it isn’t. Every single one of them deserves to be jailed. Why? Because if they are not pedos themselves they are at least abetting them.

C’mon universe…where’s your karma? Waiting for their “anticipated” eternity in Hell isn’t good enough.

        • Amen, RG –

The thing in re Kirk and the rest is very interesting. I have a working hypothesis that very few people ever become famous/rich media commentators absent some . . . help. I know a number of people in the radio/podcast world and we agree on this. Kirk (like Ben Shapiro, like Hannity and Beck and Jones) are likely well-paid shills. The paying need not be direct/obvious. How about a very lucrative “sponsor” deal? How about some big-time, national-level exposure? And it need not be explicitly said what the cost of all this manna is. No one ever told me – overtly – that I better not write anything critical of Israel when I worked at The Washington Times. But it was understood.

          And that’s how it works.

          • Hi Eric,

I think we can all agree that Operation Mockingbird is still in play. Personally, I have my theories that a few in the media probably have a few government employers. The point of the media is to create fifteen different stories so no one ever guesses the true intent.

          • “I have a working hypothesis that very few people ever become famous/rich media commentators absent some . . . help.” – EP

Yes. This is spot on. I think this applies to all areas of business too. Absent government monopolies and permitted/mandated grift, there could be no billionaires. In a truly free market, anybody that could generate that much profit and wealth from a product or service would quickly be undercut by competitive forces, thereby reducing the profit and wealth.

        • RG: ‘ A total of 211 Republicrats in the House voted not to release the Epstein files.”

I have no idea why nine Republicans abstained. I “alerted” (media-sniffing dog style) to headlines about the vote, especially to see how my favorite congress critter, Thomas Massey, voted. Do you, or anyone else know why? Was something more dangerous being introduced than the resolution he originally endorsed? I spent some time this morning trying to find some statements but have struck out so far.

            • RG: I haven’t given up on Massie yet. But I would like to hear the explanation. Especially since he was originally one of the sponsors of the resolution. I had already found the article you indicated, but found no sound explanation for the cluster of abstentions there, either. I suspect some parliamentary rule, as you seem to think might be the cause.

I find it funny that the left seems more interested in the release than the right. But then, if is probably rational. It is likely that Republicans prefer young girls but the Democrats feel safe since I don’t think Epstein dealt in young boys.

  17. This year the fire season is off and running. Along with the high profile fires in Black Canyon of the Gunnison and the Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge, there are lots of burned out medians and brush along I70 due to “dragging chains.” They blamed safety chains for the fire in Glenwood Springs back in 2020 too. But they never really said what the causes of all the big fires in 2020 were, just that suddenly the west was covered in smoke due to global warming or something. One has to wonder just how many people are dragging chains. I’ve driven with trailers for years, both for work and fun, and I’ve never had an issue with checking the chains for dragging. Maybe I’m the exception, or maybe someone’s getting away with burning up the west because the Republicans are thinking about not increasing the budget as much as they want.

    But that’s just speculation.

    • Blame Trump! Blame DOGE! is the reason this summer.

I tend to think it’s a longer term plan.

We’ve been aggressive suppressing them for a long time but haven’t done anything about letting small ones burn or logging or doing accompanying mitigation that probably make more inevitable. Fire is part of the cycle after all, it speeds up decomposition of dead fall.

Mostly my guess is so they can blame climate change. See we have all these fires from a hot, dry climate! I’m not sure there’s actually more or if the news coverage is more in your face.

Also, never under estimate incompetence. That’s what happened I believe on the North Rim developed area. They let a small fire fester for over a week before fighting it at all. Then they only threw something like 90 firefighters on it. Compare that to Black Canyon where there’s more than double that plus air support. There’s more houses around Black Canyon, though. Back at the North Rim, they also didn’t think to defend the water treatment plant? When that burned, released chlorine gas they had to evacuate and stand back until it dissipated, which is when the fire overran the Lodge and cabins and campground. How convenient.

      • GovCo incompetence never goes out of style Todd. And if your talking the North rim of the Grand Canyon, I believe thats still in Arizona, and, I believe Clammy Kate of team guuuuurl power is still our Governor…So, incompetence it is.

We had a bitter taste of this years ago with the Yarnell fire. I’m convinced you’re on to something with fires being allowed to burn so as to blame human caused climate change. I also have a niggling feeling that many are purposely started by paid leftist agitators, or perhaps Muslim malcontents. either way its a problem. Either way its why the only worthwhile thing to pray for is rain.

        • It’s hard to know with hard evidence but I know of some started in homeless camps and by illegal drug growers. They’re still considered accidental strictly speaking.

AZ governor called for an investigation of the NPS and USFS. I doubt it’ll happen and she’ll be told to move on, nevermind that. It was interesting that you didn’t see much talk about it the first few days (narrative development?) and even now the news parrots just say “some structures were lost” instead of making the point that they were iconic historic buildings and contained important artifacts, like those very important HUGE Navajo rugs in the lodge. If it wasn’t for citizen reporting I doubt we’d know anything about what happened.

          • Thats a good point. Its funny how she never called for a single investigation while Joey Mumbles was in office. No one has ever looked very hard at how the fires originate. I’m sure some are lightening, and some are accidents. Its just a suspicion I have based on how accountability no longer exists, and who benefits.

I don’t watch TV news, so I wouldn’t know either way. Get my news from people on EP autos, ZH, and what my wife reads on next door. Sad if true about the Navajo heirlooms.

      • Firefighters first! Also known as the Washington Monument syndrome. Anytime someone tries to cut the federal budget, the front line government employees are the first ones to get laid off. And they close down the stuff people actually like, such as the national parks.

        • Truth. They close parks, lay off the few government works you’ll notice. Never mind that the NPS, BLM, USFS and the whole firefighting apparatus is fractions of the budget. The bulk of the money is untochable. Social Security checks never stop, not one lightbulb is left unchanged in the Pentagon, etc. Somehow 99% is deemed essential spending while the small fraction of things that sort of work are kicked to the curb. Even then, let’s say they do decide to “close” a National Park they don’t actually stop paying the Rangers, especially the LEO rangers who will be parked at the gate to prevent you from juts going anyway. The only thing that is really closed is the the rangers who work the entry kiosk stays at home accumulating time that they’ll get a fat back pay check for when the budget is reconciled.

        • Oh, and they’re still screwing up on the North Rim. They may have saved the fire lookout (lot of good that did, eh?) but the Kaibab cabins north of the GCNP itself are apparently threatened with two new starts and they may end up having the fire drop down in the main corridor of the Canyon enough to burn the Red Wall bridge. It’s very much like they WANT everything developed between Fredonia and Phantom Ranch to burn down.

  18. I suspect when you have an economy that is in big trouble, the first thing you do is beat the hell out of the war drums. I don’t know what they are drinking in DC, but cornering Russia is a big time bad move. Russia may not be a big time economic powerhouse, but they do have nuclear warheads and the modern means to deliver them and a first class nuclear submarine fleet.
This country back in the early 90’s made a promise to the just then collapsed Soviet Union that in exchange for a reunification of Germany, that NATO would move no further east. I’m not defending Putin but Russia has a history over hundreds of years of being invaded and they see us as slowly making the move to violate their territory.
Had we kept our promise and left the former Eastern Block as independent countries, I suspect that conditions today would be entirely different. For what it’s worth, the Ukraine and Russia have an intertwined history, both are eventually the same people and this conflict could be viewed as civil conflict. The heads of both countries are dictators and the history of both countries have never had a free and open societies. Our type of government (what we used to have) would never work in that part of the world.
President Trump had better realize the facts and stop listening to the warmongers before we all pay the price.

      • Hi Swamprat.

What you have to remember is that the Oligarchs will make more money selling weapons than say battery powered toothbrushes and as an added bonus war will allow the wholesale killing off of the working man and his replacement (due to the war) by automated factories. Laws will have to be passed of course taking away what’s left of our rights because of “security” issues.

And just in time I saw this on ZeroHedge.

In our 51’st state the cops discovered a militia group with 80 weapons and 11,000 rounds of ammo. The horror of it!!!! looked like only a couple of AR180 variants and at least one Lee Enfield. I’m sure there’s at least ten people on this site that would say their cousin keeps more than that in his shed. Heck I know Commander Zero has bought more than that in one year.

      • swamprat: Not easier, but surely more productive and likely a lot cheaper. It is easier to drum up support for sending your kids off to get blown up and killed than it is to cough up the dough to build a hospital, or a water treatment plant, or even hire teachers who can actually read and write. PATRIOTISM, don’cha know?

        3×6= 19 Their, i done it rite ain’t i?

  19. ‘Trump asked the little dictator of Ukraine whether he can “hit Moscow”’ — eric

The Lügenpresse is having a field day, pointing out the pusillanimous perfidy of Vichy Republiclowns:

‘Now that the president, who once disdained American aid to Ukraine, has pivoted and announced a new plan to speed weapons to the war-torn country, some Republicans are contorting themselves to stay aligned with him.

‘That has involved relative silence from some previously vocal opponents of supporting Ukraine and striking public reversals from some of Mr. Trump’s closest allies.

‘Representative Derrick Van Orden, Republican of Wisconsin, last spring savaged the Biden administration for failing to have a plan for further aid to Ukraine, proclaiming, “We must stop entering into endless wars.” On Monday, he endorsed Mr. Trump’s announcement of more help.

“I explicitly trust Donald Trump,” he said in an interview. “I call him the peacemaker in chief. He knows what he’s doing, and I trust him.” — NYT

What a cuck. What a simp. What a … Republiclown.

    BORN TO LOSE.

There is only one War Party.

    • p.s. Pansy Lindsey Graham is the senator from South Carolina — proud home of Scout Motors! 🙂

HAR HAR HAR — frickin’ socialist Repugniclowns and their state industries. Lavrentiy Beria would have lined up the whole sorry lot of swaggering sitzpinklers against a wall, shot them on the spot, then airbrushed them out of state photos.

    • Indeed, Jim –

I think there is a deliberate demoralization angle, too. How better to take the breath out of the lungs of the populist/nationalist movement than by making a mockery of it?
