Nixon and Trump

Richard Nixon, for those who remember the best used car salesman America had – until Donald Trump came along – was re-elected in a landslide in 1972 and was riding high on what seemed to be a tide of unassailable popularity. The came Watergate, as it came to be known. Which actually came before; it was just that it took a while for the public to know about it and for the public’s support for Nixon to fatally bleed away.

What happened was that operatives for the Committee to Re-Elect the President (CREEP, it was called)  had among other things broken into offices located in the Watergate Hotel complex, which is Washington, not far from the White House, ostensibly to gather dirt on prominent Democrats, as by installing bugs on phones and filching through files inside the offices of the Democrats. The so-called burglary was bungled. Or at least, it was found out. Whether Nixon had ordered the burglary or even knew it had been ordered is something the historians continue to argue about. What is known – because Nixon can be heard on tape discussing it – is there was an attempt to cover it all up. This ultimately did Nixon in. He was forced into ignominious early retirement.

Is Trump headed for the same?

Maybe – and maybe not. It is not 1974 anymore and America is a very different place. Nixon had to flee because of something that, today, would be regarded with indifference by most Americans. Some underlings working for him broke into the offices of the political opposition. And? Well, Nixon lied about it. For that he had to go. We live in an America that has gotten so used to lies most Americans no longer know what the truth is – or care, for that matter.

Probably on account of fatigue and a sense of what’s-the-point? JFK was blown away in living color and they are still lying about that today. Also the truth about the USS Liberty – a truth that cannot be mentioned because of course it would be “anti-Semitic” to do that.

The Chimp and his underlings lied serially – about things far more serious. About “weapons of mass destruction” and mushroom clouds.” Lied the country into cheering a war that caused the deaths (and life-altering maiming) of thousands of Americans, not to mention many times more Iraqis.

The truth about the event that provided the pretext for that – Nahhhhnlevven – has yet to be fully, officially, dealt with. People – most people – just accept the lies, shrug and motor on.

Will this time be different?

Maybe. Maybe not. The difference, this time, is that most people are personally revolted by the kind of allegations wafting around right now. Nixon was a crook, certainly. The Chimp was – is – a psychopath. But what is a man who says he would not date a woman younger than his daughter, whom he also said is “hot” and a “piece of ass.” He said the “hot” part when Ivanka was 16. Also that “If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father . . .”

Now he is saying his supporters are stupid – and worse – for asking why Trump seems so personally bothered about the Epstein stuff, whatever that turns out to be. Not even Nixon called his supporters stupid. At least not publicly.

It is reasonable to state that Trump is trying very hard to cover something up – just like Dick did, all those years ago. He’s angry and defensive. He’s trying – hard and obviously – to shift attention away from the Epstein stuff to Obama stuff. To Schiff stuff. To anything that will get his supporters in particular to stop asking about the Epstein stuff. This fact alone is strongly persuasive that there is something to the Epstein stuff that Trump wants kept under wraps.

Nixon might have avoided that ignominious walk of shame to the helicopter waiting to whisk him away from the White house if he’d just held a press conference a year or so prior and told the truth. The truth was not so bad. A group of people working for him did something illegal he didn’t approve and didn’t even know about until after-the-fact. Here are their names. They have been fired and the matter has been referred to the Justice Department for investigation and prosecution. Thank you very much. That would have been the end of Watergate rather than the end of Nixon’s second term. Assuming, of course, it was the truth that Nixon didn’t order the break-in or even know about it until after the fact.

So why doesn’t Trump hold a press conference and do essentially what Nixon ought to have done in the months after his 1972 re-election?

Here is everything the federal government has with regard to the Epstein stuff. Not just the “grand jury stuff.” All the files, the hard drives and CDs. We have redacted the names of the victims but here are the names of the men who did the victimizing. All of them. See for yourself. See that while I knew Epstein, I did not know about – much less participate in – what Epstein was doing with regard to the exploitation of young women. I had nothing to do with it.

That’s what it may take for Trump to avoid Nixon’s walk of shame. If, that is, enough Americans still care about the truth.

  1. Trump’s fatal flaw is his inability to control his mouth and probably his lust for young girls. He simply could not control himself – thus the constant titty and ass groping in public, and raping behind private doors. Trump is all about Trump and what Trump wants, a true narcissist. So when he discovered Jeffrey Epstein and his plethora of young beauties, Trump found an opportunity to get some young sweet ass via his pedo friend – his secret inner lust and cravings fulfilled. Trump never gave a shit about Epstein (or anyone else) which is why Trump will turn on anyone on a dime, and did turn on Epstein, his best friend for 15 years.

Well, that is my 2 cents and I am not a trained psychocologist. I think Trump is obsessed with the “gina” (what he calls China) is revealing of Trump’s lifelong maniacal out of control obsession to control the pussy. Gina is Trump’s personal nemesis, and now he’s busted. He should be in counseling or a padded cell. If he is being blackmailed HE MUST RESIGN. We the people can not be governed by blackmailed politicians.

When busted by Epsteingate, emotional (immature) Trump could not hold his tongue (once again) and went off about it – thus exposing his true guilty position to the rest of the world – but in Trump’s pathological egoist mind, he thinks we will all fall in line in the Cult of Trump. And many are – which is really pathetic. Trump’s staff, Bondi and Tulsi immediately jumped to his rescue to divert your attention to Obama and Russiagate – making it all so obvious Trump is desperate to cover up his massive involvement in Epstein’s underaged girl trafficking. Trump wasn’t just groping, raping, he was procuring just like Ghislaine.

I’ve read stories about Trump and Epstein raping girls on yachts then tying weights and throwing them overboard. Now that seems really extreme, but look at how Trump endorses the Gaza genocide, the daily killing of over 100 woman and children – which makes Trump a monster. It is always way worse than you think.

And now what do we hear Trump boasting about? He now says he has the power to pardon her, he is obviously going to cut a deal to get her not to talk publicly about him and his involvement.

“President Donald Trump has stated that he hasn’t considered pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, but he acknowledged that he has the authority to do so.”

In Trump-speak, that means Trump will pardon her for a deal. And if she won’t deal she will be suicided no doubt.

USA Today – “Trump says he hasn’t considered pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell”

OK, so why in the hell are you bringing it up? LOLROFL

  2. And, let’s not forget Ol’ Sleepy Joe taking showers with his daughter. Nobody seems to find that rather peculiar.

We are being led down the road to perdition by some of the sickest individuals imaginable. And the U.S. has the temerity to lecture the world on “democracy”.

Government is a tool of Satan and it’s long passed the time to find a way of arranging our affairs without the coercive, violent and perverse entity known as GovCo.

  3. Trump realizes that the Dems will slow drip this BS until it becomes water tourture to his administration.

What I see above Eric, is a bunch of bullshit. You know if there was something real and substantial it would have already been used. !

In answer to your query, why does he not just hold a press confrence and take these points on,

    WELL, HERE YOU GO:

    https://www.infowars.com/posts/breaking-exclusive-trump-goes-thermonuclear-announces-plan-to-release-the-real-epstein-list-that-implicates-top-democrats-corporate-leaders-in-response-to-their-attempt-to-falsely-link-him-to

Don’t insult my intelligence, and porport that I think the choco ration is going up, the moment Trump changes course on this. You are right, after all- this is a put up or shut up moment. Real arrests will win us midterms, and no arests will obliterate us.

PLEASE do us all a favor, and turn the spigot of total bullshit off. There are real things you can pressure Trump for change on, like fluoride in the drinking water, AIPAC, and Lindsey Graham selling Trump a bill of goods that there are minerals in Ukraine.

I know the TDS addled side of you wants Trump to succumb to rumors of diddling kids. If it were real, it would have been used. Now Maurene Comey, of the Comey+Brennan+Clapper+[Obama+Hillary+ByExtensionBiden] Russian Collusion / Steele Dossier HOAX, have a proven track record of manufacturing intelligence [MAKING BULLSHIT UP]

WE asked, and the answer is in the link. We put pressure on Trump, and unlike a stoogie, the elected official listened and is changing course!

I will definitely stop coming here if in 6 months this is still nothing but a kiddie diddlers fantasy articles, and any criticism gets rebuffed as if it comes from Q or that I’m a palintir Jews Cock Sucker. I know Eric, that once you get going down one of these veins you stay on it, for a long time, and don’t cover anything good that’s happening. The last time I had an issue, it was you’re attacks on the Grifter Musk. You were quoting their hit peices, which the government paid lots of money to produce. And never got around to any of the good. You may have well have popped right off the page of WAPO’s Doonesbury.

Trump got pissed and lashed out on TruthSocial, knowing now full well some of his supporters would turn the spigot of the above BS on, right on que to screw the midterms and tank the country.

Therefore, his coverup to give the criminals an out was never going to work. So in spectacular fashion has ripped the e-brake, and is now charging at them in a game of chicken. Time to put up or shut up! YEAH! Arrest the criminals, who manufactured the steele dossier, did dragnet survailence on Trump and his orbit including Alex Jones, who have been putting fake evidence into the Epstein record such as doodles and love letters to Epstein, via Maurene Comey in the SDNY, under the direction of James Comey, while prosecuting Jeffery Epstein, working for Gishlane Maxwell, a Mossad Operative, in a joint CIA/Mossad state sanctioned child sex trafficking ring.

Trump tried to cover it up, for the sake of the normies. Now he’s taking Rodger’s (A big Nixon guy too) advice, to meet these accusations head on, and porportedly has said “FUCK IT, RELEASE EVERYTHING, EXCEPT THE VICTIMS.

PUT UP OR SHUT UP indeed. Time to dust off the ol’ red hat. If no arrests are made, it’ll be throw it in da woods. If arrests are made, it’ll be memorabilia from fight for the Republic.

To quote Trump today, “You should be looking into Bill Clinton. He went to the island 28 times. I never did.”

    Cheers all except LLMs.

    • Hi Steve,

The accusation that I suffer from TDS for stating facts and drawing implications is just silly. There is no denying Trump did a complete 180 on the Epstein stuff and it’s reasonable to ask why. It’s reasonable to ask why he appears so defensive. It is not Orange Man Bad.

      You write:

“You know if there was something real and substantial it would have already been used.” No, I don’t know that. What if the true story encompasses so many powerful people on both “sides” (there is really only one side) that for reasons of mutual assured destruction, they all agree to not spill the beans?

Trump is bleeding credibility with each day that passes. I and others tire of his Big Talk followed by no action. You can apologize all you like for his not “locking up” Hillary or Fauci or any of them. The fact remains he has done nothing to hold any of them accountable for anything. Here is an article about the Epstein stuff you may find interesting: https://www.lewrockwell.com/2025/07/chuck-baldwin/top-epstein-historian-blows-the-whistle/

      • Eric
My reply was better to troll Steve. No sense getting in a pissing match with a skunk/bot. In only win by ignoring idiots.

      • Afternoon Eric,

        I did not apologize.

“What if the true story encompasses so many powerful people on both “sides” (there is really only one side) that for reasons of mutual assured destruction, they all agree to not spill the beans?”

You’ve just made the case for the cover-up. That the uniparty and big business would be devastated. I think that is plausable enough case for a cover-up, when he himself is not guilty. Especially when the only supporting evidence of that is above.

Side note: How is the sheep bleeting “Stop Splainin'” any different from how the CIA created the term “Conspiracy Theory”.

No apologies for Trump trying to nuke his base and that memo. Now I have to listen to the above 24/7/365 for the remainder of his term, if he fails to deliver the goods. That’s a good reason to suspect he is in ernest with the latest BigTalk.

If there is one thing I’ve learned from Trump, it’s that if you want someone to move on to other topics, better tell them to stop focusing on it specifically. Cheers.

        • Morning, Steve –

If Trump is not guilty then he is complicit (thus far) in preventing the guilty from being exposed. That makes him just as bad as the guilty in my book and even worse, because (if it is so) then he is a coward and a fraud. I don not want to hear about Obama because nothing is going to happen to Obama.

          • Good Afternoon, Eric.

You’re right, in that nothing’s going to happen to Obama. Presidential immunity, he doesn’t want to cross that precident.

I’m just pissed that I know you will side with frothing leftist BS before giving Trump a fare shake.

I forgot that you don’t get any traffic, and out of the 50 or so commenters here, half of them are probably are “Israel’s Troll Army”

It really doesn’t matter. So i’ll just stay quiet, on the sidelines, and let you get on with not changing anybodies minds. If I decide to start posting again, then expect a donation coming snail mail. Most likely to happen if I see that you’re throwing your hat in the ring where it will unlock minds, or if you give Trump a fair shake. Which is about as likely as arrests for Epstein clients. We can only hope.

If you want my opinion, fluoride in the water, and forever wars, and the ongoing problem with Israel’s influence are the problems. Covering that isn’t going to matter when the only readers are Israel’s Troll Army.

            Cheers. Steve Out.

            • Hi Steve,

If a thing is true, I side with the truth. Should we just pretend the truth does not exist because it does not reflect well upon “our guy”? Isn’t that what Leftists do (e.g., the Left pretending Biden wasn’t showing clear signs of senility)?

All of the things I have written about Trump in regard to this Epstein stuff are true. He did pal around with Epstein for years; he did say very creepy things about his own teenaged daughter being “hot,” among other things. He did promise to expose what was going on with Epstein, his death, etc. – and then did an abrupt and very suspicious 180. I am not just saying Orange Man Bad. I am saying those specific things are bad.

I want Trump to put this business behind him so that it does not derail the populist/nationalist movement. But his actions thus far have made it very difficult for that to happen absent complete disclosure of everything the government has, including the evidence on the seized hard drives, CDs and so on. He must do this or he will increasingly be seen as either personally guilty of something truly hideous or afraid of something far worse, such as the wholesale implication of big-name people that transcends party lines.

We have a right to know. And I’m not going to just shut up and say Orange Man Good.

          • Interesting video, Trump the judge in teen beauty casting. I can understand the motive here. Does not the bull elk keep a herd of female cow elk for his exclusive breeding? It is Nature’s way.

Imagine you are billionaire, you have everything, jets, rolls royces, mansions, palaces, wives, the finest of everything, but you don’t have the one thing you can’t buy, young beauties. Thus the teen model scam and the Lolita express to paradise island.

Over in Saudi Arabia and other super wealthy Arab countries, I’ve read where the king (some pig in a ragtop) has a stable full of concubines (harem), as young as 12. Historically, have not kings had the pick of the litter of females from the countryside? These girls are gathered up and trained how to behave and submit to the dominant male. It is the way it is and always has been. The problem for Trump and Epstain is that such behavior is not allowed in the west. Thus the teen scam.

            • Another thing, you are a billionaire like Trump with a trophy wife – who is haughty, bitchy, and less attractive than she was when younger, sagging, and worn out like an old handbag.

Then we have these beauty teens – young, supple, impressionable, in awe of wealth and power and can be easily manipulated/conned/wooed. What to do to get what you want? Exactly what Trump did. Pretty obvious if you think about it.

          • I saw that like 2 weeks ago on Infowars. Yes Don did beauty pagent judging. 7:00 The girls in that were 18-19 yo anyway. Again, if this is all you’ve got, he’s got nothing to worry about. Frothing leftists are more of a problem because they will spin anything.

            • Objective consideration of the evidence does not make us “frothing Leftists”. This place is a Libertarian haven and you are obviously some MAGA troll. Sorry, mainstream narratives don’t cut it here.

            • Hi Steve,

I don’t understand the constant glorifying of Trump. People are who they hang out with. They had a friendship that lasted 15 years or more. Don didn’t know what Jeff was doing? Really? Do you believe that? Trump has said enough stupid crap over the years for all of us to question his true tendencies. We cannot ignore the fact that Trump may be a bigger player in this drama than the American public currently is aware of.

I am not willing to tie him up and light him on fire as a sacrifice to the gods…at least not yet, but where there is smoke….

              • RG,

“They had a friendship that lasted 15 years or more”

You must be smoking something. Aquaintences sure. When Trump’s plane was broke he and his family borrowed his, without E on board. For a guy who’s Trump thats a nothingburger. Trump was the one who kicked E out of Mar-A-Lago. Trump the hotel and media magnate did a gasp-beauty contest. Another nothingburger. Trump has done a million things, but all we are going to hear about is this from now on, until the public believes that this very busy guy was best of buds with Epstein. And we’ll have so called journalists who selectivly cover things like Eric to blame. Except we won’t, because I guess this site probablly gets 400? unique views a day. Maybe a thousand. Infowars gets like 2M views a day when nothing happens. And they will cover the good, the bad, and the ugly. And try and contact Trump and whitehouse staff to change things for the better. Trump usually makes the right decision when provided the right information. Infowars is out there trying to get people interested in open and shut Treason by our enemies, when people love a roumor, they want to hear about how Trump could be a pedo, when it clearly doesn’t fit the bill. Eric will go on about maybe Trump doesn’t want mutually assured destruction of the uniparty, and that Trump would be a pedo.

Trump said he didn’t want to crash the economy with MAD of the uniparty, so he covered it up. NOT an excuse. But it doesn’t make accusations of being a pedo suddenly credible based on a beauty contest or some jane doe. The Democrats brag about this is their weapon, and Eric’s going to give this junk all the time of day as if it fits the bill. Where there’s smoke, there’s mostly peacful MSM narritives.

I simply don’t trust Eric to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, and I suspect he will give the benifit of the doubt to every shred of so-called evidence being over publicized by the MSM.

When Reuters got paid $200M+ to smear Musk with everything they could find, Eric thought their articles were newsworthy.

If I were to give Trump a report card, it would be at least an A- or gasp even a B+. Biden’s GPA was ZeroPointZero.

Eric rarely gives credit where it is due or considers the whole picture. Half his commenting audience is the Israel Troll Army.

I’ll be back to support EPAutos when he starts changing peoples minds. Right now he’s feeding the troll army the BS they want to hear.

You were one of the good ones! Catcha round.

      • Eric, I just learned from yesterday’s broadcast of False Flag Weekly News by Dr. Kevin Barrett that Israel is training MAGA propagandists!

        https://consortiumnews.com/2025/07/20/maga-going-to-israel-for-propaganda-training/

“The Israeli government is paying to have 16 MAGA social media influencers, with millions of followers, brought to Israel to learn how to stop American youth from turning against Tel Aviv over Gaza, writes Joe Lauria.”

Axe yourself, why is Israel interferring and controlling information in United States domestic political trends?

Ho Lee Fukkk Batman. That implies Trump and MAGA are an Israeli propaganda campaign. Indeed Trump says one thing and does another. Trump candidacy could of been an entire Israeli psyop from the getgo.

        LOLROFL Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

  4. Of all these, the USS Liberty pisses me off the most.
Either our guys were sent to be turned into a false flag or our “good friend Israel” decided it would be ok to unilaterally kill our sailors and try to sink our ship.

What is a fact is the McNamara and LBJ gave the order to do nothing. No higher betrayal.

At the end of the attack, the pathetic Israelis couldn’t sink a defenseless ship, and our boys were threatened to keep silent about Israel’s treachery.

Government cares nothing for you, except about how you can serve their interests.

      • Man, anarchyst, you’re relentless & seem senseless.

The make up of The Power Elite is not anywhere near 20% Jewish.

This is about power and control by men. In general.

        Not one ethnic group.

        [Maybe, spiritual, tho?]

        Yeesh, you’re obtuse. …And, boring.

        • All it takes is a few jews in key positions within government, academia, and the media to effect changes beneficial to the jews. JEW$ have been extremely successful in securing key roles within government, academia and media.
What say you about the foreign students, legally here on student visas getting kicked out of the country for merely protesting the ongoing genocides in Gaza and the West Bank with the full cooperation of the federal government? Free speech? HAH…only speech that JEW$ agree with is considered free speech.
If you don’t think that jews have a major hand in their deportations, you are sadly mistaken.
Observe the pro-holocaustianity fable and anti-semitism laws being proposed, violating the First Amendment to the Constitution.
LOOK AROUND YOU. ZOG (zionist occupation government) is real.
          Regards,

    • Dan – it is worse than you think – LBJ authorized the attack on the USS Liberty, he was in on it, another proZionist Jew traitor JUST LIKE TRUMP.

Israel is 100% dependent on the billions in welfare and weapons from the USA. They would not risk getting cut off, thus they would need a POTUS who agrees and plays along with the false flags. Without our money, Israel would dry up and blow away in 2 weeks.

GW Bush authorized the 911 false flag – that killed nearly 4,000 of us. Trump authorized the Covid death jab which has now killed millions. Like George Carlin says, they don’t care about you.

      • Oh, c’mon on Jack. Do you really think the President of the US has any power? Truly? LBJ authorized the attack on the USS Liberty? Bush authorized the attack on 9/11? I guess Trump wrote the Deagal Report, right?

You stated “Without our money, Israel would dry up and blow away in 2 weeks.” You are right. They would. Which means it isn’t them pulling the strings. That is what the elite wants you to think. Follow the money. That is who is in charge. People of power do not come begging others for money, arms, or tolerance. Mossad and Israel is a limb. One that can be severed off when necessary.

        • Oh c’mon RG, connect the dots. Israel doesn’t beg for the money, it (via AIPAC and myriads of other gov’t-funded Jewish orgs) forces the money to come its way by coercion, bribes, and blackmail. Mossad and the Jews are in control. Plain as day. They get what they want.
Bibi was given over 50 standing ovations when he spoke to Congress this year. Is that typically how someone begging with hat in hand is treated?

And “Epstein-gate” is not so much about Epstein being a pimp, but about him being a Mossad agent. I think most of these people “volunteered” to be blackmailed, to further their career in a Jewish-controlled system.

          • I guess Kurt you are one of those that truly believes AIPAC stands for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, right? And each member of Congress gets an Israeli master, right?

If Bibi is so powerful why does he show up here? Shouldn’t Congress go to him? Biden also received several standing ovations during each year’s State of the Union…that doesn’t mean he actually controlled anything?

Epstein was a CIA agent. Mossad is the continuation of the OSS setup in another country that can easily be bribed.

    • Yes, those poor innocent victim girls made out like bandits. First by getting paid to freely do wealthy men, then claiming victimhood and scooping a pile more cash. My heart bleeds for them.
The webz are awash with young women doing all manner of whoring and porn, including on Onlyfans. Does anyone really believe they wouldn’t be doing the same at age 17, 16, 15, if it were legal? I don’t agree with redacting the so-called victims’ names. Expose them all and call them out for what they are.
And then get busy looking into what really matters – who did what for whom under pressure of blackmail?

        • Instead of calling me names, consider refuting the points I made. Are you seriously claiming young women are NOT whoring themselves online? Are you seriously claiming that women are the pinnacle of virtue while men are the pinnacle of evil? Are you seriously claiming those ‘victim’ women didn’t hire lawyers to further benefit financially?
I think Mae West said it best (she’s female, so maybe you’ll believe her): Women’s virtue is man’s greatest invention.

  5. Ghiselle maxwell probably wasn’t the ONLY procuror of children for the epstein island play ground of the rich and famous. what is trump, being in new york, was instrumental in helping provide more meat for the pedos? and what if, his name is at the top of the list…what a surprise they keep it hush hush!

another sickening thing about those people is the use of ‘breakers’. perhaps trump was one of those. they break the child or teenager into the role of child whore. teach them the ropes so they know their job….that is from independent resesarch i did on an old article i read about from the 60s and 70s. when young people starting disappearing in more massive numbers. they use people like trump, like gates, like others sick people who enjoy being the trainer for the newly placed prostitutes. not just the ones on the street but the ones on the island play grounds i am sure.

that list probably included those names but we hear only about epstein, his girlfriend, and prince andrew. what a surprise. all other names down the rabbit hole.

as gomer pile used to say….’surprise…surprise…surprise’

  6. There’s a fundamental difference this time, at least as far as we can see at this point.

If you separate the actual things happening from Trump himself we are getting to see the messy details underneath and actions are arguably favorable.

What I mean is under a Nixon or Bush or Obama the Epstein would (and was) easily sunk out of sight. It’s not going anywhere, though. Under Nixon or Bush or Obama would we have walked away from the IHR treaty?

I wonder sometimes if Trump, who no one argues isn’t a crude jackass, isn’t closer to what you see is what you get than career politicians. He’s played the game well but he has done actual things building his real estate. Crooked and slimy, absolutely. But the Trump Plazas and Trump Casinos are real things you can see and touch. No politician ever does anything real. Massie did. Ron Paul did, too. They were successful in something before entering politics. That’s the way it’s supposed to work, where you enter “public service” once you’ve reached a point in life where it’s time to at least metaphorically give back.

Trump has blind sides but he’s not as stupid as you think. If nothing else he’s avoided ending up in Hillary’s body count.

Maybe he’s supposed to implement CBDC but based on what’s happened so far does anyone think that will get put in place quietly. The Epstein stuff and then Obama treason was supposed to distract from GENIUS but Catherine Austin Fitts and others didn’t let that fall from the radar.

All the distraction is going to create chaos where nothing can happen, which on the ground is the best outcome for the average person. If the “team” is in disarray infighting they’re not gang tackling you.

    • Hi Kari,

As someone who voted for Trump three times now, i would say his 2nd administration is turning out to be a mixed bag. There are people out there who think everything he does is evil, while there are others who think he can do no wrong.

      • The root problem is government and politicians or maybe more precisely a society that’s been propagandized to think they’re necessary. That’s the basic evil. As the founders conceived there may be merit to a “common good” but since humans are flawed. Whatever ideal they had in mind originally was at least flawed, if not outright corrupted from the start. I tend to believe (hope?) that the Declaration and Article of Confederation were probably alright. The Constitution maybe intentionally hamstrung and even if that wasn’t the Civil War handling and Reconstruction ruined any hope for it. Perpetual union my ass. So much for freedom and liberty if you can’t willfully and peacefully disassociate.

So from the perspective that the Civil War did not in fact resolve anything and was probably the start of the next American Revolution ideologically. The North winning removed the chattel slavery from certain people only to put the shackles on everyone equally instead.

Trump is doing more to move the needle towards breaking up the mental stranglehold on what’s possible than any high-and-mighty Goldwater/Reagan republican or libertarian thinker has. Being disgusted with the whole mess is a common bond with everyone who isn’t already an actual employee of one of the party machines. You may call yourself GOP or Democrat or independent but how you vote is fluid and may define what TV station you watch but it does not really impact your paycheck. Once people get over the mental gymnastics and start to realize they’ve been voting against their own interests for decades the system loses it’s grip on their mind.

      • I voted for him 3 times. I think that this one is arguably worse than his first. The deportations are concerning.

I favor tariffs, but his use of them to merely get countries to drop their tariffs to zero does nothing to improve the lot of the average person here.

  7. “So why doesn’t Trump hold a press conference ”
Have just a bit more patience and you may get exactly that, Eric.
First, Nixon was destroyed by the media over a trivial offense and Nixon let it happen.
Trump is much more media savvy than Nixon was and repeatedly lures the media into exposing their lies.
fwiw, I think the Epstein evidence gives the administration power over MANY who oppose the goals that Trump was elected to achieve.
It makes those goals much easier to achieve with the votes (and wealth and power) of the criminals that the evidence exposes.
I could be right or wrong, so keep your powder dry, tar hot, and rope handy to use on all the traitors and sociopaths of both parties, when the opportunity arises.

  8. Very nice essay Eric and spot on.

An instructor pilot told me that when LBJ took his last flight home on Air Force 1 he had one of the seats unbolted so he could keep it as a souvenir. Theft of public property from the holder of the highest office.

I do think Trumpenstein is facing some bad ending, like resigning in disgrace, because for one thing he has so many enemies, and of the thousands who know exactly what Trump did with Epstein, many in the know are his enemies. Ghislaine could be one of them. Donnie boy and Jeffrey boinked all those teen girls, while Ghislaine, daughter of Robert Maxwell (Mossad spy chief) rots in jail. The woman took the fall while Jeffrey sprung from his jail cell and living the posh life probably in Israel or Cyprus. Ms. Maxwell was found guilty of conspiring, not doing the nasty deeds.

So if you were a wealthy socialite, who was serving a 20 year sentence (only as a helper), what would you do? Sit and rot or talk and cut a deal? She’s talking, yesterday and today:

UK Independent – “Ghislaine Maxwell answered every single question put to her by Department of Justice officials, her attorney has said.

David Oscar Markus briefly spoke to reporters outside a Florida courthouse after the disgraced British socialite was grilled during a meeting with federal Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche on Thursday.

Markus did not take questions, but said Maxwell “never declined to answer” and did not invoke any privilege during the meeting. Prior to the meeting he said the team was looking forward to a “productive day.””

    ————–

Congress was voting to have her testify publicly but the Trump DOJ made an end run and got her to talk privately. This (once again) indicates Trump is guilty as hell and is trying to keep the lid on the information about what he did. She is actually safe, she is not suicidal and she is in custody of prison guards and safe in her jail cell. Not easy to assassinate. Trump was friends with her, maybe even her lover, because those boys passed woman around like a smoke.

So how does this saga proceed? Trump takes down Obama, so Obama takes him down. I think new information will come out making the public even more entranced, and when Ghislaine does testify to Congress, the whole world is going to be sitting on the edge of their seats with baited breath. Trump could be severely embarrassed and forced out. Melania will then divorce him.

I think Trump’s resignation would be very good because WW3 is a very bad idea. Vance can pick of MAGA and start administering it in a sane fashion, unlike Trump who is crazy. So much for the Trump political dynasty that I was expecting. Trump’s Epsteingate could easily cause a midterm slaughter of Republican seats, so the Republican Party, which never liked him, could be instrumental in getting rid of him. Trump is taking them down too.

Don’t ever feel sorry for DJT, he has done horrible things and is currently endorsing the genocide in Israel, which is pure evil. He needs to go, he can take his family to Israel and build a golden palace with gold toilets for himself. I can’t stand listening to the orange blowhard any more than pathological liar Netanyahu. Such horrible people who I doubt are human, maybe some kind of alien reptiles.

    • Vance is not going to be the savior people are portraying him to be. Trump is a bull in a china shop. If one wants the system to correct itself Trump at the wheel is the best TNT that this country has. Vance would be no different than a Bush. Israel will still receive unwavering support with no cut in the funds paid by US tax payers. They system will go back to the days of yore…corrupt politicians, backroom deals, secret handshakes, and winks when no one is looking.

If your goal is to usher in 2030 than Vance captaining the ship is what the global elite want or do you think Peter Thiel isn’t going to get what he paid for?

Let’s deal with the devil we know.

          • First we have to get rid of the Puppet Masters. The puppets are mindless souls who chose money and fame over service to the people who vote for them.

The Puppet Masters are very powerful and rich beyond our imagination. They will hold on to power and have the means to do so. They will not allow us to unite. They know we are the greatest threat to them.

            • Spot on. The string pullers at the top are well insulated. The upper and middle management is vulnerable. Only Mother Nature or God (or both, the same, only they know) can put an end to the masters. So you’re both right in the sense that we can upset the apple cart but we’ll never own it. We’ve come close a few times. The American Revolution had the right idea and even identified some of the key weaknesses (freedom from the bankers of the Old World). It was subverted via the Constitution, not really fixed with the Bill of Rights and attempts by Andrew Jackson or others to kill it. It’s been buried 6 feet under in the intervening years. Their original intention probably had promise. We might be at another inflection point now but we won’t be alive to know for sure.

              • Facts. The Constitution was a subversion. It gave us what we have now — leviathan. The glorious American experiment lasted all of 8-12 years (1776-1781-1789) depending on how you count them. And Lincoln’s War pounded the last nail into its coffin.
I agree, the original intent was good, but it had enemies from the beginning, and they won.

      • RG – I am not a fan of any politician, nor JD Vance. I have never voted for any Zioscum and will never. I am only making the point that the MAGA moverment is worth saving and that since DJT is batshit crazy, and endorsing a genocide, he should be removed. The next in line is the VP, so try him, and if he continues with the insanity, remove him also. Next .. next .. etc,.

Amerika has sunk so low we have normalized bombing other nations, genocide, etc. That is the price we pay for living in a corrupted Zionist empire of debt money and endless war.

        • Hmm, “I am only making the point that the MAGA moverment is worth saving”

          Keyphrase: “worth saving”

          …It’s already been lost, then.

Cracks me up that Raider Girl thinks, “Trump is a bull in a china shop. If one wants the system to correct itself Trump at the wheel is the best TNT that this country has.”

I got news for ya’s: Trump is, The Swamp.

          Ya been had.

          [I wish it weren’t so.]

          • Hi helot,

I never stated that Trump wasn’t Deep State, only that he is TNT. Give me the big mouth who can’t keep a secret. That is how lies die.

  9. Back in 1974 a few Republican Clowngress critters took Nixon aside and persuaded him to resign for the good of the party, probably figuring they would get clobbered in the midterms. Since Trumpenstein thinks he IS the party there’s no way he’s going to step down, he’d rather bring the whole edifice crashing down with him, which might not be a bad thing.

    • “he’d rather bring the whole edifice crashing down with him”

He will. Trump will not go quietly. Another little story that is picking up steam…France and “Brigitte” Macron. When Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, and China are reporting on this the shoe is about to drop.

      • Hi RG,

The Macron thing is interesting to me not so much because “Brigitte” might be a man but because “she/he” is something close to a pedophile. She was pushing 40 when she seduced a 15-year-old. I’ll be really sexist here and state that (as a guy) I can see a 15-year-old guy “going for it” with a Mrs. Robinson type. But what about “her”? There is something off about a woman that age not just having a fling with a teenage boy but getting married to him. “She” is now of nursing home age and soon Macron will be helping her change his/her Depends.

        • Hi Eric,

Maybe I am watching too many Candace Owens podcasts, but something stinks to high heaven. I agree with you that “Brigitte” is a pedophile. But, there is something on the surface that we aren’t seeing. It is a setup, but why? To me this is pretty easy to prove if I am a woman. Here is my birth certificate, here is me as a baby, here is a pic of me pregnant with each of my children, here is the doctor that delivered my children, etc.

I believe not all rumors need to be addressed…some things are nobody’s business, but the rumors circulating around “her” are becoming louder and louder. At some point just throw out the proof and be done with it.

The lawsuit in France that was thrown out recently, does not help “Brigitte’s” cause.

          • The “Brigitte” issue runs deep into demonic worldwide elite pedophilia. It’s not about one person’s sexual fetishes. Candace’s series on the issue is eye opening. I believe it is connected to Epstein (and probably others) and it seems to me that a LOT of people at the top are into it.

I am enjoying the light of truth beginning to blare down on the demons and watching them panic and scurry. I hope for retribution for the innocents that they abused, but I’m not counting on it. Not in this life at least.

          • Total agreement, RG –

I also watched Candace’s podcasts and – you’re right – it stinks. If I had to come down on one side or the other, I’d say “Brigitte” is a man and that Macron is a damaged man who was buggered by “her” as a teenager and is now stuck in this sick relation ship with “her.”

As you say, it’s easy to show whether you’re a man or a woman. As in literally. Let’s see what’s there – and isn’t there.

          • Words matter. Brigitte is not a pedophile. Note the fundamental illogic and inconsistency of Eric’s words “I’ll be really sexist here and state that (as a guy) I can see a 15-year-old guy “going for it” with a Mrs. Robinson type.” In other words it’s understandable that a boy of 15 has sexual impulses, but a girl that age is as pure as the driven snow. Or just maybe some older women lust after a handsome young lover as much as some older men lust after a beautiful young one? Just a thought.

            • The Internet is getting really weird tonight. I agree with cobblestones on this one.

RE: “She was pushing 40 when she seduced a 15-year-old. I’ll be really sexist here and state that”

“Sexist” has nothing to do with it. The same, & the opposite, happened many many times in the past & produced …America.

This obsession of sex & ages has gotten to be absurd.

Our creator – God – [you might call him the spaghetti monster, but he made us & owns us, ’cause we all die] made us be capable. …Ah what’s the point? The world has gone mad.

              • “This obsession of sex & ages has gotten to be absurd.”

It has. But… as a father of young daughters who still live at home, I assert guardianship and protection over them until they are out of the house, but even then my protection services don’t end, they are only reduced and remain in effect until the day I die. Laws and cultural norms do not apply.

                • I can’t agree with this post enough.

As a parent your protective instinct only concludes in death. If harm ever came to mine no law would deter the revenge that would be seeked by hubby or I. The only difference is that my spouse would probably use his bare hands. I would need the assistance of weaponry.

        • It’s worse Eric, Brigitte is not just a male but Emmanuel Macron’s father!
Frog France is under the rule of:
          Homo
          Pedo
          Incest

Candace Owens is being sued by the Macrons, I would demand a DNA test to determine the homo and incest claim.

    • I remember. And as an aside, the Republiclowns only had 100 or so house seats as well. It was a bad time for Repuklicans.

It was very disappointing that the Democrats had an iron grip on the votes of the American public. Knowing what they pretended to stand for, it was beyond my comprehension.

  10. There is one aspect of the Nixon “fall from grace” that is rarely mentioned…
Mark Felt expected to be next in line to be appointed to the director of the FBI. When Nixon chose L. Patrick Gray over Felt, all bets were off.
Mark Felt was “deep throat” who blew the whole DNC break-in scheme open.
    The rest is history…

  11. “We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false” – William Casey, the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 1981 to 1987

  12. If anyone is looking to DC to get the truth of any kind, they are sadly delusional. If you had an honest person in government, they would be gone quicker than last week’s paycheck.

  13. A little off topic, but on the other hand, President Trump does deserve some credit for backing out of this ginormous climate change scam being pushed by many governments around the world, including some states here. I don’t know if anyone here heard, but while the world was focused on Epstein and what involvement Barack Obama may have had in the “Trump-Russia collusion” BS, the top UN court ruled that all governments MUST fight CO2. Translation: governments must either control ALL human activity or KILL as many humans as possible under guise of “Stopping cliiiiiiiiimate change”……

    https://thenewamerican.com/world-news/un/top-un-court-claims-all-governments-must-fight-co2/

    • He and Bessent got rid of the BOI requirements for small businesses. I do thank them for that. Harris would have never overturned it. This would have been another boot on the neck of small business, but not only that it would have allowed the IRS and Fed to track all officers of these small businesses.

      • Another good thing the Trump administration did recently was reject the International Health Regulations pushed by the WHO. I doubt a Harris-Walz regime would have done that. Had we signed on to that, in the next declared pandemic or public health emergency we’d have likely seen diktats from unelected bureaucrats at WHO (framed as protecting public health) that made diktats issued during COVID hysteria seem like nothing.

      • I dunno. With all due respect. RE: ” I do thank them for that.” I get the sense of boot licker’s on that one.

What’s that line Eric uses, ’bout, “Yess masser” or sum such?

…Just gimmie some crumbs, or don’t pluck my tail feathers?

I imagine you have fine tail feathers.

        • I have excellent tail feathers, thank you.

I don’t see how it is boot licking when I laud someone for a reduced regulation, an overthrow of a tyrannical rule, or more privacy. Just as we should not be quiet when something unacceptable occurs, we should not be silent when something admissible does as well.

    • “2,000 of the world’s leading climate scientists and professionals in over 30 countries have signed a declaration that there is no climate emergency and have refuted the United Nations claims in relation to man-made climate change”

      • Hi Jack,

I think the fact that more people are waking up to the ginormous fraud that is “man-made climate change” is the reason why that UN court doubled down on climate change stupidity & claimed that all governments MUST fight CO2.

I listened to an interview the other day with someone regarding that court, and he made the case that the court has no way to enforce its ruling. Also, have you noticed how people who want to keep the climate change alarmism going don’t use the term CLIMATE CHANGE anymore? Now they use terms like CLIMATE EMERGENCY, GLOBAL BOILING, or CLIMATE CHAOS.

        • Hmm, RE: ” they use terms like CLIMATE EMERGENCY, GLOBAL BOILING, or CLIMATE CHAOS.”

I’ll keep an eye out. Haven’t seen it so far.

          “Fear! Fear! Fear!”
What’s that old dead guys bit? Mechin-something-or-other: “All, imaginary.” “Hobgoblins”. etc…

  14. ‘It is not 1974 anymore and America is a very different place.’ — Eric

Since there was no internet in 1974, public restroom walls served as a form of social media.

I never got why so many girls’ phone numbers were scrawled on toilet partitions, along with vivid descriptions [and sometimes illustrative drawings] like Donnie Trump’s [‘hot,’ ‘a piece of ass,’ etc]. After all, she was never going to see it in the men’s room. And why would another guy phone her up sight unseen, based on a questionable recommendation from an unknown graffiti writer claiming carnal knowledge?

As a source of political commentary, though, restroom walls totally trumped [sic] the Lügenpresse. Over a urinal: ‘If you voted for Nixon, you can’t piss here: your dick’s in Washington.’

Flush twice, it’s a long way to Washington‘ was a personal favorite, and remains true today. Though with the House already having skipped town for its traditional August vacation from the steaming swamp of Foggy Bottom, no one’s home to savor the tidal wave of sewage sent their way.

Summertime and the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’ and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy’s rich and your ma is good-lookin’
So hush little baby, don’t you cry

    — Ella Fitzgerald, Summertime

    • Really? The walls had this, written upon them back then?

‘Flush twice, it’s a long way to Washington‘

…I’ve not ever seen such intelligence on the walls in all my life.

…I guess, we’re getting dumber, overall.?

    • Jim H.,
My favorite was in a backwoods crawfish place in the swamps of Louisiana….Atchfalaya swamp off the side of a side road….it stated “Nixon did for America what panty hose did for finger fucking….”….did not make sense but just was funny in context….driving home to Austin from a Blue Oyster Cult concert in Nawlins

  15. The problem is that, like Rome, we have transitioned from a republic to an empire. No politician is honest and virtuous any more. name one president or presidential candidate of either major party in the last 50 years you hasn’t been an arrogant psychopath, weirdo and narcissist.

(OK, Jimmy Carter. And he was a failure as a president).

As fucked up as Trump maty be, what’s the alternative? Harris? Hillary?

Are there ANY “elites” who are virtuous and decent?

      • I actually think Carter was a good man as a person. I disliked him as a politician and I disliked many (most) of his policies. But I do not think he was a liar, a narcissist, a swindler, a cheater or a psycho. I think he was a genuinely humble, small-town Southern Christian.

Which is why he failed as an imperial president. You almost HAVE to be an arrogant, narcissistic psycho to become president these days.

      • I would say a handful were/are willing to make change…Thomas Paine and Thomas Massie….maybe we need to just elect guys with the first name Thomas. 🙂 Note: The more people that are against them proves they are trying to do right.

        • Hi RG,

I submit the real change needed lies within us. Until enough of us consciously reject that other human beings owe us anything more than common courtesy and respect for our equal rights; that everything we earn and honestly possess is entirely ours by right, without exception; until enough of us demand to be left in peace so long as we are peaceful and accept our equal obligation to leave others in peace, so long as they are peaceful and never mind whether we “feel uncomfortable,” Don’t “like” or worry that “something bad” might happen; until we agree that all of us are only responsible for ourselves and what we do and no one else is responsible for what we do, we will continue to suffer busybodies and tyrants, who prey upon and leverage human weakness.

  16. I spoke with my neocon turned MAGA friend last night. Despite my attempts to keep the conversation away from politics he brought up Trump and how “Those damn Democrats” keep bringing up Epstein. I mentioned that Orange literally said he would open up the Epstein files while on the campaign trail, many times, and how now he’s trying to change the subject.

“Oh, that’s just some off the cuff comments taken out of context.”

Nope. It was pretty much a plank of the Republican platform. We remember. We can probably search YouTube for the speeches. It’s not Watergate, where “someone” leaked the whole thing to (former CIA operatives) Woodward and Bernstein, who broke the story alone. The Epstein affair has been ongoing news for half the decade now, and most of the sordid details are well known. We already have the what, where and how. We just don’t have the who.

And we can speculate as to the why, which is the whole point of keeping the who under wraps.

  17. Jews. Every single time.

They set up Nixon because he was no longer good for the Jews. No one forced Trump to stick his pecker into any teen or tween his pal Jeffry Epstein sent his way.

Trump is still in office because he makes certain that nothing he does is bad for the Jews, at least not bad for the Sanhedrin/Rabbis/Rothschild cousinhood who are really ruling over the Noahide empire.

    • Then I thank the Jews for this. Nixon created the EPA and OSHA, established affirmative action in federal hiring practices, opened up trade with China, and took the US off the gold standard.

Or do you consider these good things? Lord knows what kind of additional hell he would have created with a few more years in office.

  18. I think Trump may be headed to oblivian but as you say, it’s important to consider fatigue factor. OTOH, people who have maintained a comfortable lifestyle are finding it almost impossible to do so anymore and the bread and circuses are starting to fail. Frankly, it would not matter who was in office because the infrastructure is rotten to the core and the oligarchs controlling the levers of power constitute the same evil that brought about every horrible regime in human history. Those who survive will have a chance to do better in the next cycle. I’d like to be able to look back from 100 years in the future to see what the next turning brings. As usual, Eric, a well penned missive.

    • I wonder, is this so? “people who have maintained a comfortable lifestyle are finding it almost impossible to do so anymore”

Is it, just the Little People? Idk.

Stores here in flyover country, surprisingly, are full. The Dollar Store hasn’t closed.

      Lag, maybe? Idk.

      • Hi Helot,

I think people are consuming their seed corn (savings) or just living on debt (i.e., credit cards). The average person’s income has not kept pace with 20 percent-plus inflation. This can’t go on much longer.

        • Another source of income is aging parents. My sister’s mother in law would send a fairly large check to each of her children every year. I know my parents covered the floor with Christmas presents for my nephews, and I’m pretty sure they paid many of the expenses that came up for baseball leagues and Boy Scouts too.

Many retirees have to spend a given amount of cash every year or face large tax penalties. Why not give it to the kids and grandkids? That generation was told that grandma had to eat cat food* because the savings ran out. So they saved and invested and benefited from the high inflation of the 1970s, the high interest rates of the 1980s and sky high stock market of the 1990s. And of course the boomers coming up behind dumping money into their investments too, and the massive productivity gains thanks to automation and computing power, so we don’t hear about starving octogenarians any more. If anything we hear how well they have it.

*never mind that cat food costs more than steak

          • Morning, RK!

Yup. A bag of cat food does cost more than steak now. And steak? Have you seen the price jump over the past 2-3 weeks? A “downer cow” special that cost $11 three weeks ago is now $17. Gas anyone else noticed?

            • I get meat from Costco, just because I don’t know any locals. One of cuts I’ll buy regularly is sirloin run through the bacon slicer. It makes what are essentially minute steaks that are good for many different dishes. The price seems pretty steady at around $50 for the plate. Much more than the $35 I used to pay but still manageable. Where the prices seem a lot higher is in processed and frozen foods.

        • Interesting interview between Carlson and Charlie Kirk…at least until Carlson goes on his “I hate boomers rant”. The debt issue that Eric mentions is real….Kirk talks about three companies offering “Buy now pay later” for everything from concert tickets to tonight’s pizza…..as you state Eric, this amounts to eating your seed corn…..these people will never accumulate wealth…and it’s incumbent on us freedom lovers to understand and appreciate why. I know that hatred of young, white males constitutes a major plank of the platform of third wave feminism. But that these folks are in this position should not cause us to scorn them…..more important would be to find empathy and work with them to fix the problems….and the solution does not involve government dependence either…..as Raider Girl says, we have to support the good in people to overcome the evil in the creatures who currently hold the levers of power….personally I find many young people I meet to be a source of inspiration. This can only happen on an individual to individual level.

          • Morning, Giuseppe!

Amen to all of that. I was talking with my sister the other day about this. She works with a couple of young women in their 20s who are “very Left,” as she described them. They like socialism because they feel they will never have the things my sister and her husband have (e.g., a single family home) and so working is a scam. We both agreed that while we revile socialism, we understand the feelings of these young women. In italics to emphasize that many such do not understand what socialism means (what it will mean for them) and are just pawns of truly evil people.

            • The division created by government is working. We, federal.gov, have created the rules, regulations, and policies to make it harder to achieve the American dream, but come into our waiting arms and let us tell you about the benefits of communism. You will have even less and we will have more, but you are too dumb to know the difference. 🤮

Does one know how a dream is not achieved? By giving up on it.

I am tired of people throwing in the towel before they even begin. “Oh, I will never have what you have so I refuse to get off my lazy ass and do anything about it.”

              • Amen, all that, RG –

That said: Back in the Before Time of the ’80s, a high school kid (me and many of my friends) could afford to drive Mustangs, Camaros, Chevelles and so on because a tank of gas cost about $20 and you could earn enough working a minimum wage/part-time job to pay for that. As a young adult in the ’90s, I was able to afford to buy a house in Loudoun County because a house could be bought back then for $155k (or even less; there were townhouses in my old neighborhood that could be bought for $80k). They were older/fixer-uppers. But the point stands. Today, my old house would list for $600k. I could not afford my old house at my current age.

Yes, it can be done. There are always ways to get it done. But I get why the Youth are pissed, because the game is rigged. It has always been, of course. But I submit it is much more so now than it was back then.

                • Hi Eric,

You and I agree that the game has always been rigged, but is the player smart enough to beat it or at least, maneuver around it? Success comes before work only in the dictionary.

I am going to sound like a broken record, but we are stronger together and that together does not include Uncle Sam. This country needs to return to a strong family unit and a sense of community. That is the only way society survives.

                  • Hooray for you RG for succinctly stating what we as a country (not government) really need…..a sense of community and common purpose.

                  • I agree with all you’ve said, RG. I wish I could figure out a way for people who think like most of us here to band together and form our own non-coercive community. It is something I thin about all the time, without as yet coming up with a viable answer.

      • Hey Helot,
I see what you are saying…..I work in retail…as a toy job, at a local Woodcraft store. I really do see a lot of people with lots of disposable income come in and spend tons of money…..but, there is a limit…working class people who do the jobs like building custom cabinets, or decks, or kitchen/bathroom remodels are feeling pressure from both ends of their trade. These are hard working, independent people who are being crushed by economic realities beyond their control. Sooner or later the snake eats its tail…..starting August 1, a German tool manufacturer of high end tools will be having yet another price increase as a direct or indirect result of Trumps tariffs…..
