It appears (as I type this) that Charlie Kirk, the conservative commentator, has been murdered. This happened just days after a woman was murdered in Charlotte, NC in equally horrific sudden savagery. Both were politically motivated murders. This follows. It is logical.

The Left is not “progressive” or “democratic.” It is violent. Everything reduces to that, though many Leftists shy away from openly saying so – let alone doing the violence themselves. Yet they vote for it to be done – and when that does not work, the Left often reveals its true self, as it has in the cases just mentioned.

Kirk bothered the Left immensely because he identified what is at the root of Leftism. Yes, conservatives are to some extent guilty of complicity in violence but it is not generally their motivating animus. They tend to be utilitarian-minded people who will support that which they think “works” or that which they think is more “efficient.” Theirs is a sort of benign dissonance; the intellectual flotsam of disordered (unprincipled) thinking. The Left, on the other hand, is defined by the desire to control that is the basis of all violence, the most extreme expression of which is the taking of someone else’s life (which is the ultimate expression control-taking).

They are savages, driven by hate to murder when they do not like what someone else says. This was Kirk’s great crime. Ironically – and this is very interesting, psychologically – it is the Left that imputes hate as the motive of those who disagree with the Left. If a person objects to being told he must refer to him as “her,” then he is  transphobic; i.e., he hates people who are confused about which sex they are, as opposed to refusing to pretend they are the sex they claim to be, in defiance of biological facts about their sex. A person who questions feminist (Leftist) nostrums is a misogynist; i.e., he is someone who hates women. If you do not like the idea of your small town being flooded with random strangers from foreign countries, you are a xenophobe – and so on.

Note that all of the foregoing are pseudo-moralistic terms of derision. They are not merely the usual insults – e.g., you’re an idiot! They are attacks upon your motives. More finely, they are attacks on your humanity. Only a truly bad person hates someone merely because they happen to be gay (or “trans”). It does not matter that this is untrue – that is not their being gay that they hate but the pushing of the gay agenda on them (and especially on kids).

What matters is that the Left is trained to believe that it is hate that motivates and many do believe it. They are thus outraged by someone like Kirk, who does not believe that a he can become a she. They regard him as an extremely bad man for saying so. They also believe it justifies what a Leftist (does anyone doubt it was a Leftist?) did to him. For who could be against punishing people who deserve to be hated?

This may be just the beginning. It could be America’s Horst Wessel moment. For those who do not know the reference, Wessel was member of the backlash movement against the Communists (Leftists; the names change but the thing is always the same) who had taken over Germany after the Great War (WWI) who was killed by Communists and became a martyr for the movement he had been a part of. We all know what that movement was. What many do not know is that it was a reactionary movement against the same enemy that just put Kirk in his grave. The same enemy.

It is an enemy without mercy. A cowardly enemy that shoots from a distance and from the safety of a crowd. It shoots because it has no argument and so resorts to the one thing that ends all arguments. It will not stop until it has the power to end all arguments in a much more efficient, far less scattershot way. In the meanwhile, it will do everything to get the power it craves, for which violence is both a means to an end and an end in itself.

There is no reasoning with these things. No possibility of amicable coexistence. There is only them – or us – and the sooner this is understood by us, the better the chances we have of making sure it is not us that ends up in the Lubynaka or something else and more permanent.

      I like Caitlin Johnstone’s writing as well and find myself often agreeing with her, even though she’s described herself as a “bogan socialist”.

      This article was pretty choice as well. The first sentence simultaneously mocks and gives caution:

      “Hi I’m an anti-establishment right winger. I’m enraged about the murder of a mainstream Republican pundit who worshipped the president and I demand sweeping authoritarian measures to stomp out the political left.”

      Now, perhaps the shooter is simply an angry “leftist” mask-wearer as he appears to be this morning, or maybe he was simply a paid arsonist, igniting a fire that would get people to cheerleader further erosion of their rights, whatever is left of those. We shall see.

      Charlie was pretty famous; I did not know him personally but am very familiar with his campus Q&A sessions. He was extremely good on his feet, demolishing Leftist narratives – and they (Leftists) hated him for it. He had become a bete noire of the Left, especially the “trans” element thereof.

      Yes, I am certain that Leftists are “savages, driven by hate to murder when they do not like what someone else says.” The evidence to support this – the actions of Leftists – is just overwhelming. I pointed out in the article the fact that the Left pathologizes disagreement as “hate.” Have you forgotten how the Left treated people like us during “COVID”?

          I know saying this will enrage many Christians, but it is almost 100% certain that Jesus Christ never actually existed as a real person.

          The very early Christian sources, of which only a few have survived – because the winners do indeed re-write history to what they want it to be – speak of Jesus as a spirit, not as a man. Which, coupled with the fact the Bible is also a hodge-podge of what the eventual winners, i.e. what became known as the ‘Roman Catholic Church, selected to be included.

          This also explains the various contradictions you speak of.

          If you like reading scholarly work, I very much recommend Richard Carrier’s ‘On the Historicity of Jesus: Why We Might Have Reasons for Doubt’. It is not hard to find an e-book of this work online at no cost.

          This is one of only two such works that have passed peer review in the last 100 or so years, and both have reached the same conclusion.

          As far as the ‘Left’ or ‘Right’ are concerned, let us not forget that the Nazis were also socialists, so just the other side of the same coin as the Communists.

          The terms ‘Left/Right’ are, in my opinion, obsolete. There are people who believe in the state and are therefore on the collectivist side of things, with all those ‘positive’ – or government enforced – ‘rights’ like redistributionist welfare, and then there are those who support the individual and his/her inherent, or ‘negative’ rights, like that to your own bodily integrity.

          Plenty of ‘conservatives’ are also statist collectivists. They just prefer to push a somewhat different agenda to the Commies, but they still want to have the state do it for them.

              I agree with you in principle. The thing I was getting at in the Kirk piece was that the Left is akin to a rabid animal that lashes out at whatever it sees as a threat. I made note of the fact that conservatives are often guilty of amen’ing/demanding coercion but I think it is generally true that it is not coercion for its own sake that animates them. It is is for the Left.

There were some windows broken, and some law enforcement suffered assaults. Overall it was Mom and Dad Walmart types taking selfies inside the Capitol after being invited in by the cops.   14. The mental gymnastic of a leftist in saying something about Kirk is pretty crazy. This is the statement made by someone I knew from a few years ago (She is in her early 30’s now). She used to be a cute, nice, sweet girl back in the day. But then she went to college and became someone else. She is now a “Psychologist” to boot, lives in a condo in the city with her fur babies and has gained a lot of weight. She hates everything about her “right wing” youth. She grew up in a fairly wealthy family so you have that issue too…..feeling guilty about being upper middle class, sigh……

    She knows she cannot write what she really wants to, so it’s exactly what you are seeing from many leftists. This is what she said.

Looking at some of the images of that building the shooter allegedly shot from raises some questions for me. it’s not completely inaccessible but it requires more planning and competence and effort, to get up there, wait, make the shot and then disappear with a rifle without a getting arrested than your typical leftist seems to have.

    Most lefties, even violent ones, seem to be pretty much nutjobs who act out hysterically. The one exception is Antifa, which seems to be pretty well-trained. But Antifa has to be run by the government… because there’s simply been no effort to shut them down despite their high level of organization and their appearance almost everywhere.

    You’d think that in the day and age of panopticon cell phone tracking and universal surveillance cams, shutting down Antifa would be pretty easy. Maybe it is… if they want to shut it down.

    Anyway, I have not seen this level of competence anywhere on the run-of-the-mill left, only with Antifa.

  17. I don’t know why Charlie Kirk was killed but to me, it’s just more proof that we’re in the midst of a spiritual war and that evil does exist. I never followed him myself, but my understanding is he did drop truth bombs on various things, which I’m sure nefarious people & NGOs DIDN’T like.

    • He resonated with young people. He was effective with his debate me approach (the left can never win on merits) and seemed to be honest. He maybe had a soul and core beliefs, what you saw is what you got, so probably couldn’t be bought or blackmailed.

      • That may be why the Democratic party launched a large campaign not too long ago aimed at getting young men to vote for them after accusing men in general, particularly white men, of being the cause of ALL the problems in the world for who knows how long.   23. I found it disturbing a couple of weeks ago when the flag at my local post office was lowered at half-mast. Turns out that Trump ordered it in the wake of the recent Minnesota Catholic church shooting. Now he’s ordered another half-mast flag nationwide in memory of Charlie Kirk.

    Remember that Biden kept the flag at half-mast for a good part of 2021 when he wanted everyone to get vaccinated. Half-mast orders are a form of propaganda to soften Americans’ minds for one of Washington’s agendas.

    My guess is that Charlie’s death will be used as a political football in the coming weeks as both sides of Congress come together in an emotionally-infused, bipartisan spirit to wage an old-fashioned attack on the Second Amendment. Keep in mind the last time Trump was in office we got a similar 2A assault. Why should this time be any different?

            I think we are in unchartered territory. If a Democrat politician or activist was killed I believe there would have been a push toward more police surveillance, more gun control, etc. The Democrats are not against guns when they are used on the opposing side. Which is why the newsfeed is not spread far and wide today on disarming the citizenry.

            Kirk was dangerous because he was creating a movement back toward spirituality and the nuclear family. He was showcasing that one does not need government in their daily lives or the requirement to hold a college diploma. His grassroots campaign had increased to 3500 chapters across US college campuses. Studies show that Gen Z is heading back towards religion and more traditional values. These statistics cannot be ignored.

  34. At what point will the Christian Right stand up and defend themselves and their children against those who have flat-out said they want their opposition disarmed (gun control) and dead? The fruits of the left and their supporters are out there for all to see: The cheering that someone is dead, and leaves behind fatherless children and a now widowed woman simply for what they believed in? If this had been reversed, you can surely bet the coverage would have been entirely different, and the media would be howling to the moon for months. When even wild animals treat each other better (killing for food, territory, defense of offspring/mates), you know this world has gone straight to depths of hell that no know limits.

His method was to state his positions and then have open debate with people holding other positions….that’s what we want from a rational perspective. The people whose opinions I find respect worthy may not have agreed with Kirk’s positions but their respect for Kirk’s integrity was genuine….my fear is that this could be the false flag that ignites a civil war, a real one this time.

        I am spreading rumors so please take this with a grain of salt. Kirk was supposedly wearing body armor and some informers believe the intent was to hit his aorta, but it ricocheted and hit his neck. Kirk had concerns about being killed over the last few weeks.

        Gut tells me this was CIA/Mossad. It was too clean, too precise. Does anyone know if Kirk had started straying from the plantation recently? Was he asking questions that would have been upsetting to government interests?

            Which brings us to the question of why? I have watched several of Kirk’s debates and speeches over the years. Kirk seemed like a genuinely nice guy wanting to make a difference. He was not a politician, but was his support from Gen Z so overwhelming that they were concerned Charlie’s questioning of current events had the power to steer today’s college youth? Was his life’s track of avoiding college, honoring god, marrying young, and starting a family a dangerous narrative to portray for those in charge? Was he truly making a difference that TPTB feared his influence?

  36. I am saddened, but even more so, I am pissed. Really, really pissed. I am so sick of “playing by the rules” or “turning the other cheek”. From the Right we are told “God will seek revenge”. What happens if revenge, karma, or an afterlife doesn’t exist? What happens if heaven and hell is only on Earth? What happens if those who do wrong never suffer consequences?

    The Republicans/conservatives remind us to stand down, don’t provoke, and be respectful. The Left constantly promotes violence, but we are told not to retaliate. Today, the Left assassinated a spiritual young man who leaves behind a young wife and two young children. A daughter and son who will never know their father because someone, somewhere didn’t like his reasoning, logic, or opinions. They killed a man who did not promote violence, just debate.

    As an agnostic I will say what the Christian Right refuses to. I hope they find the bastard that did this. May he have his day in court and upon his conviction may a bullet pierce his heart before he leaves the Courtroom. Justice will then be served.

          • Please. With a scoped deer rifle, any moderately competent shooter can make a 200 yard shot inside a 6 inch circle consistently. I’ve never had “training” and made a one shot kill on a deer at 700 yards (paced off so +/- 30)

            • Maybe, maybe not a pro. Agree with Ernie. I shoot at pie tins and melons from 1OO -2OO all the time. Open sights, I can do it with many different rifles. Even as my eyes age out. Not every shot is a hit, I feel happy when one hits the target. Any pecker wood with a little practice can make that shot.

                    No doubt it was from higher ground, but anyone could have walked in front of Kirk at anytime. That shot was too damn accurate and taken by someone with nerves of steel to be made with such a large crowd of people milling around.

                    • Yes RG, That’s always a chance a shooter takes. But from 200 yards, and a clear line of sight, no one walking around him, the bullet would get there before anyone could cross its path.

                      Anyone who finished basic training a sharpshooter or above along with anyone who put in 5-10 hours on a range could do it. It wasn’t that hard of a shot.

                • It does have a lot of the hallmarks of professional killer, my point was that the shot itself proves nothing, its not that hard.

                  Guns aren’t magic, I can teach most people to shoot competently and have taught all my kids. Which is why I look at people gloating that beating back the communists because we have all the guns and shooters is a fantasy.

                  But it does appear that the exfiltration/escape was professional and probably aided. That fairly screams professional and conspiracy.

      The Left tends to view violence as a knob, and they dial it up or down as needed to achieve their purposes. Orderly protests, rioting/property damage, murder, mass murder, everything in between.

      The Right tends to view it more as a switch. High road/debate/etc., or no-holds-barred all-out war.

      It’s a bit of an oversimplification, no one side has a monopoly on crazy, but I think there’s some truth in it. The switch hasn’t flipped yet, but it’s getting a lot closer & I also think the Left has been lulled into complacency & has no idea what they’re fixing to unleash.

      I also wouldn’t discount the possibility/likelihood that there are forces at work trying to bait the Right into doing something really, really stupid and kicking the whole thing off. Hold fire until you can see the whites of their eyes.

It’s a collectivist political ideology and at the base of its pyramid are dependents. Dependents on continued theft from a slave class of productive people. Threaten that flow of wealth and people who depend on it become violent.

    The left can only threaten productive people with losing their jobs and businesses which is ultimately hollow on the macro scale because the left is parasitic. If it kills the host it too dies. But the host is always better off without the parasites so the need for violence to backstop the ideology is acute.
