I attended several Rainbow Gatherings years ago, and found out a whole new way to exist in a community with no electricity and everyone responsible for everyone else. No central authority. No cell phones. Each day the adults would form circle and pass a feather, the one who had the feather could speak, no interruptions. When there was an emergency, the first person to spot it would shout “Shanta Sheena!” and all were required to respond. There was no police and no courts, anyone misbehaving was not put in a jail, they were asked to leave and an adult senior male would escort them out of the area.
We need to reject the prison and walk away from our mad mad world. Stop participating. Stop voting. Stop the TV. All eat. No one is ever left hungry. Our world is dysfunctional because of how it is organized.
