Trump now says he – meaning the U.S. Navy – will attempt to block the Strait of Hormuz to all traffic, if the Iranians do not accede to Trump’s (that is to say, Israel’s) demands by tomorrow. He also says he stands ready to “take out the country in one day,” doubling down on his prior Strangelovian promise to end the Iranians’ civilization.
Implying a not-very-subtle nuclear threat. Mine Fuhrer! I can walk!
It’s worth remembering that the U.S. Navy skedaddled out of reach of the Iranians’ missiles and drones – some of which may have hit and caused serious damage to one of the Navy’s aircraft carriers. If Trump is to be taken at his word – which is something like taking a shady used car salesman at his word – the Navy will soon be back within the reach of the Iranians’ missiles and drones. This could prove to be the spark that ignites the big fire – if the Iranians devastate an American aircraft carrier. Such an event would embarrass Trump bigly – as well as possibly cost hundreds or even thousands of lives, as an aircraft carrier has a complement of more than 3,000. Trump would likely escalate and – given his “civilization ending” braying – that could mean a nuclear strike on Iran.
Perhaps a worse alternative is if it does not.
If the Navy does close the strait, it will have global economic repercussions more severe for Americans than a couple or three mushroom clouds blossoming in Iran. Such as gasoline going up to $5 per gallon from its current national average of about $4 per gallon. It is also likely to trigger even more inflation. This could well prove to be something like the final blood-letting that sent George Washington to his grave at just 69 years of age.
Trump, isolated in his bubble and surrounded by toadies and worse, may think paying another $15 to fill up up the tank of a typical crossover is no big deal; nor the ramping up of food prices and inflation, generally. It is a small price to pay for what he personally considers to be something worth us paying for. But it is just this tone-deafness that is turning him into a pariah among his own supporters, even to the extent that Alex Jones has turned away from him.
That is the right way to put it, by the way – because it is Trump who has turned away from them. It is not a “betrayal” to refuse to accept betrayal – which is what Trump seems to expect from his supporters. He seems to believe he is owed bind obedience, like Stalin or Jim Jones. Like them, he waxes paranoid and flat-out mean as his erstwhile supporters abandon him. They are “traitors” and “Low IQ.”
The once-funny sarcasm has become angry imprecation. He was funny, once – when he mocked the pieties of the Left. It is not funny (except to the Left) that he now mocks the principles of the Right. It smacks of not just betrayal but lunacy – or something even darker, such as his actual intentions coming to light.
Maybe – hopefully – it is all just braggadocious blustering. One gets the feeling that it’s not. Trump’s ego may be so swollen that he can’t just walk away and declare a Great Victory. Perhaps because the Iranians publicly (and correctly) have. If you’ve not read the official statement released by them, you should. Once you do, you’ll be able to imagine how Trump reads it. He, like the devil, is a proud spirit who cannot bear to be mocked. Especially by people he almost certainly regards as “ragheads” and “sand niggers” – never mind that they are Persians and so actually related to the Aryan people Trump probably likes to imagine are his tribe.
It’s Sunday afternoon as this goes live.
We’ll see what happens come tomorrow.

The Spanbergering looms:
Senate Bill 749 [banning ‘assault weapons’], part of a comprehensive gun-control package in Virginia, was communicated to the Governor on March 14, 2026, after passing both the Senate and the House of Delegates. The Governor’s action deadline for this enrolled bill is 11:59 p.m. on April 13, 2026.
Did the Spanberger entity allow it to become law overnight? Looks that way. But no one is sure what the carpetbagging creature was doing just before midnight.
A new, historically accurate version of Donnie’s controversial “Trump as Healing Christ” meme has been announced:

Enjoy!

Morning, Jim!
It could be tertiary syphilis….
There it is: “he now mocks the principles of the Right”.
A.k.a. Arnold Schwarzenegger, “Screw your freedom”.
Have you seen this bit?
‘An Open Letter To President Donald Trump (My Response) | Candace Ep 322’

Man O man, has El Presidentea, jumped the shark?
Also: let us all hope that those who say atomic weapons are just fantasy, are correct.
At any rate, we are ruled by two-faced monsters who wish to impoverish us all. That much is obvious.
He didn’t jump the shark- what he is now is what he has always been- a long-term friend of Jeffery Epstein, and Democrat NYC real-estate fraudster. He just managed to fool the bubbas with his little act; but now, in the course of doing the business that those who really control DC need done (And with little restraint or regard to keeping up appearances, since he is a lame duck) it has become blatantly obvious as to what he has always really been- a.k.a. Mr. Grabbembythepussy; Mr. Use eminent domain to take the old lady’s house; Mr. Just take the guns and worry about due process later; Mr. Best Friend Israel Ever Had; Mr. Declare a ‘pandemic’ emergency and push ‘beautiful drugs’….. Mr. Biggest military budget in history; Mr. Print trillions out of thin air…
Gee…who could see it coming?…..
Trumpforeskinstein is the jew wrecking ball to shove Agenda 2030 up the ass of the West.
Trumforeskinstein, good call, very imaginative, and appropriate.
DuringTrumps first term It seemed most of his bad decisions were simply from listening to his retarded daughter. Its crystal clear to me now, Trump has lost his mind/soul to Jared Kushner. The tiny tribe Kushner’s insider trading family fronts for, the one whose origin story begins with ‘every single time,’ has their greasy fingerprints all over the current phase of our controlled demolition.
Morning, Norman!
Something very wrong is going on; what it is exactly, I’m trying to figure out. More finely, why. Trump’s actions – this Jesus thing, for instance – are just gratuitously stupid. Is he that stupid? I have difficulty believing that. Ergo, there is something else going on…
Good morning, Eric
The what, seems like Trumps caught what every other Rhino has. A case of terminal stupidity. Having the table set to easily obliterate the Donks and consign them to irrelevance for a generation, yet, they cant help destroy themselves. Which must be some kind of bizarre prostration to their god of DEI.
As to the why, I like Sophocles explanation, ‘Whom Jupiter would destroy he first drives mad.’ And, no doubt about it, Trump is mad with power. Perhaps he should aspire to another bit of sophistry, ‘A good man yields when he sees his course is wrong, and repairs the evil. The only true crime is pride.’ Doubtful Trump would ever acknowledge that bit of wisdom, it’s not the kind of thing he’s likely to find written inside a fortune cookie, or on his truth social feed.
That this mentally ill, narcissistic, infantile perverted lunatic piece of shit can still be in office, just proves the insanity of government and everyone in it. -And this, in a [formerly] first-world country with redundant ‘protections’ built-in to the political machinery to supposedly assure that such people are removed from office….. I feel confident in saying that this asswipe’s presidency marks the turning point; the exact point on the timeline that will be cited as the inevitable demarcation of the downfall of America.
Sorry for posting the same sentiments over and over, but I am truly in shock that we’ve come to the point where the entirety of the scumbag political system is now so unconcerned with even maintaining the vaguest image of responsibility and respectability that they can just go on as if all is well.
Then again, what do they have to loose? They are mostly guilty of gross crimes[re Epstein]; they have ruined their country’s economy beyond repair with massive debt which can never be satisfied; they have committed high crimes and treason…so I guess they may as well just jeep looting and perpetuate the insanity for as long as the ride will last, because the only logical conclusion, eventually, to the mess they have created is either complete ruin or nuclear war.
In a country with a First Amendment guaranteeing freedom of expression, spook-controlled JewTube shuts down free speech:
‘Google, the owner of YouTube, has removed a channel on the platform belonging to a pro-Iran group producing Lego-themed videos mocking Donald Trump.
“Upon review, we’ve terminated the channel for violating our Spam, deceptive practices and scams policies,” a YouTube spokesperson told Middle East Eye. “YouTube doesn’t allow spam, scams, or other deceptive practices that take advantage of the YouTube community.”
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/youtube-removes-pro-iran-channel-producing-anti-trump-videos
The Lego videos are neither spams, scams nor deceptions. They are simply an intolerable, mocking affront to our thin-skinned zionist rulers, who now find themselves in a desperate pickle as their War for Israel has developed not necessarily to their advantage.
America is so over. 🙁
RE: “America is so over. 🙁”
Maybe, not.
In East Germany during the Cold War there were little pockets, here & there. Of,… resistors.
The flame. The flame.
Nah. The revolution ended in Germany. Now it’s business as usual under more stable tyranny. [Cops going through your garbage and fining ya; home-schooling illegal; go to jail for disputing the official Holocaust narrative, etc.].
And most German men sit down to pee.
“And most German men sit down to pee.”
Dingdingding!
Ach! Mine lederhosen!
Agreed, Jim H.
Although Jewtube [I mean Youtube…need to specify…since there really is a Jewtube!] is less troubling than the fact that a business can do that and yet prosper, because the majority of people care so little, and will tolerate and even bow and scrape before the technocrats who runs such businesses, even when their own videos and comments are censored.
What troubles me even more, are states and gov’t-funded colleges making the criticism of Israel illegal; or the questioning of the official Holocaust narrative a near-crime already. Or a company’s ability to sue an author/video creator for merely stating facts of opinions [Even if such suits are ultimately without merit or unsuccessful, they can bankrupt a person just to in legal fees to defend themselves]
The whole notion of “freedom” in the modern world is a farce.
Watch this one, and you’ll understand why Joogle banned it:
https://x.com/alifarhat79/status/2043119528381452402
The Lügenpresse only dreams of kicking Trump’s ass this hard.
Watched it. I don’t need stupid Lego’s & bar/club music to tell me what to think. The facts, stand.
Not that the video was altogether incorrect.
The glaring bit is your juvenile use of, “Joogle”.
A goobermint, run by demons, is not – a people.
It’s – as if – to say, because da goobermint in American’t punches the less fortunate with the drug war and punishing taxes & regulations, etc… you support such, too.
Same sheet. Different day. New boss, and all.
The smart money is betting against i$5 The smart money is betting on oil being more or less today’s price for May settlement, and 10%-20% drops into next year. The reason? Places like Nigeria, Angola, and even Libya are ramping up production to take advantage of the spike. Plus, Venezuela is producing more than it has in a long time. And places like Athabasca go from marginal to profitable at these prices, meaning the Canucks are also bringing more capacity on-line while it’s a paying proposition.
You can be a doomer if you like, but, really, markets are far more robust than you give them credit for.
BTW, that’s not 10%-20% drops by next year. Those drops are per month. May 20 settlement is ~$95 And as I look at today’s prices, they panicked to 104, and are back to 99. Lots of big players made fortunes on the panicans.
Odd that. I never heard of Athabasca before.
You say, “the Canucks are also bringing more capacity on-line while it’s a paying proposition.”
Is that another way of saying, once the price drops, they are fucked and done? Much like the frackers in West Texas? Idk.
You say, “Lots of big players made fortunes on the panicans.”
I dunno, the price at the pump here is UP and, unlike so far, the hyway is quiet at night. I pay more.
I’m not panican. I. Can. Walk. if I have to.
It’s just that, your comment seems really weird. Like, you’re a market player & not a regular person who pays thru the nose at the pumps and the grocery store checkout lanes.
But, who knows?
99 Cents per gallon of gas.
79 Cents, too.
And, 49 Cent burgers at the not-MacDonalds in the 1980’s.
50 to 25 Cent cans and bottles of pop. (Soda)
u.s. Median Home Price 1963 – 2023

A.k.a. a benchmark.
“as I look at today’s prices”.
Gas is already $5 in some places premium and diesel are already $5 plus most places regular was 3.89 local other day but keeps going up and my car takes premium was 4.89 in WV
4.00 +/- in the NE. What I don’t understand is diesel is 1.75-2.00 more now? It has historically been .75 higher. And back in the lesser gov times, diesel was lots cheaper than gas.
No way diesels better mpg now saves anything, if anything.
Just ran quick calcs. 15K miles, diesel at 25mpg at $5.75 = $3450/yr, gas at 20mpg, $4.00 = $3000/yr
The diesel pickup gets about 20mpg in the same conditions a gas pickup gets 13, my TDI gets 45 while a gas compact gets closer to 30. The mpg for an equivalent vehicle is about a third better, due to the higher energy content of the fuel oil. The price differential is around 25%, so the diesel still works economically but nowhere near as well as it used to be and if it’s a modern enshitified diesel DEF, particulate filters, and increased maintenance cost will kill that advantage.
Agree Ernie. And the compliant diesels I don’t see going past 100K mi before they need big bucks to fix.
Diesel is basically kerosene, Jet A, home heating pol and petroleum-based surge electric generators. Because truck diesel requires ultra-low sulfur now (Thanks a lot, Chimp!) to effectively make diesel you thin down a heavy sweet like Venezuelan or Louisiana with a lighter sweet like West Texas.
Problem is it’s very expensive to build that kind of equipment. In the US, mostly regulatory, political instability and NIMBY. Biden, for example, destroyed at least 50 billion that was already spent on his first day.
Thanks Steve, I realize it all changed (higher diesel cost) when they made diesel fuel go to ULS. The stupidest thing ever.
What I didn’t know whs the cost to do so, which obviously is very high.
Sorry to nit pick, but kerosene is a much lighter, mote volatile distillate and will wreck a diesel engine without changes. When it gets cold, we switch to #1 diesel, when it gets extremely cold we can mix in kerosene or jet A but it makes less power and more noise, it is hard on the engine.
Also I’m pretty sure Venezuelan crude is heavy sour, high sulfur feed stock. Bakken crude from ND is the opposite, extremely light and sweet but very volatile, we’ve had a couple trains of Bakken derail and explode. It probably does blend well with heavy sour sourced diesel though.
Are you ready folks?

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS HEALING THE NATION.” [like Hitler, how many Americans didn’t vote for Trump believing that?] …The image used by Trump was one of several AI-generated religiously themed images of the president posted by Adams, including another of Trump as Jesus, and one of him as a preacher handing out Bibles. Adams also posted AI-generated images of Trump as an Olympic gold medalist and President George Washington.”

He openly spreads hatred towards Islam and supports the Zionist colonial regime without consideration,” Mr Omar said, according to The Star.
He said Mr Adams once pressured a restaurant in the US to fire a waitress simply for wearing a “Free Palestine” pin. “This is an inhumane act that demonstrates extreme and hateful attitudes towards the oppressed Palestinian people’s struggle,” he said in a statement on Monday.

‘There are esoteric hidden meanings in this Trump/Jesus image [now deleted]. As a student of the occult let me explain.
‘Lucifer is emanating from the light above. Exoterically, the Sun, esoterically the Blazing Star of The Craft.
‘The Statue of Liberty, to those who have eyes to see, is in fact a statue of Lucifer, gifted to America by The Craft. As above, so below.
‘Trump, in the red robe of high Luciferian priesthood, administers Lucifer’s light to a sleeping man. He is not dying, he is meant to represent the sleeping masses unaware of the hidden hand that shapes their world.

“the sleeping masses unaware of the hidden hand that shapes their world.”

Our choices at the ballot box are antiwhite, anti-God bolsheviks or Jew bootlicking war pigs. Not much of a choice there.
And now Trump is a rampant blasphemer, depicting himself as Jesus. Disgusting. He can’t be thrown out of office quick enough. I supported him because of his stances on immigration (easily solvable with mandatory E-Verify and not Nazi-like ICE raids) and other issues, such as the anti-white pogroms of the Bolsheviks. Now I realize our system is beyond reform.
Malignant narcissism crosses the redline into full-blown megalomania:
‘President Donald Trump shared a photo on Truth Social Sunday night of a massive Trump hotel built on the moon, kicking off a late-night social media frenzy.
‘[Another] one depicts Trump resting his hand on a hospital patient’s forehead while dressed as Jesus Christ, appearing to heal the wounded individual as evident by the yellow glow on his palm.’

Do you find it disturbing to be governed by a mentally ill person, who is now using the US military to roll out the Trump Oil Embargo?
Ron Unz, in an essay posted today:
‘Astonishingly, a Washington Post columnist recently called for the assassination of all of Iran’s leaders and negotiators if they failed to bow to American demands. This led some to suggest that Iranian team should fly back to their own country on a Russian or Chinese airliner, lest the disgruntled Americans shoot their plane down.
‘America as a nation has sadly begun to resemble some unfortunate animal suffering from rabies, a pattern of behavior that also reflects what journalist Glenn Greenwald has decried as the increasing “Israelization” of our political system. But perhaps this merely demonstrates the remarkable extent of American desperation after more than six weeks of a failed war.’

We find ourselves living in a twisted, sadistic Looney Tunes episode, in which some characters suddenly get hauled out behind the studio and shot dead. This is the Talmud come to life, in all its baroque Stone Age horror.
Morning, Jim –
Yeah, I saw this also. Republicans will rue the day they didn’t say it is time for him to be ushered out of the office and into the Memory Care facility.
Eric,
I dont think it would help them at all. The Reoublican brand has been damaged goods fir a long time..it deserves to be put on the asheap of history
I agree, Swamp –
What has the GOP done other than slow-walk what the Democrats impose on us?
Exactly. Lindsey Graham waived his pink princess scepter and would like you to publicly renounce Trump and to stop meddeling in the affairs of the big R Republican establishment! Shame to those who would still like to influence Trump and his cabinet’s decisions with public pressure – blackpilled is the answer. Mark Levin who writes Trump’s posts says you’re not MAGA, never were, and to shut up and if you don’t like it, don’t vote! That’s going to make this better!
Here’s how ‘Matt Drudge’ put it, in a headline today:
Trump damns pope, mocks Jesus on ‘Truth’
Good Lord, what has become of us? :-0
The last two popes have been far more Marxist than Catholic. The mother church is compromised. I fault “Trump” on many things, this not so much,
Ernie, you don’t fault trump for declaring himself Jesus? You say the Catholic Church is compromised but what about the Presidency? Trump clearly is non compos mentis. He rants, “I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon.” The pope said nothing about nuclear weapons which Iran does not possess. The U.S. does possess them and Trump is commander in chief. Is that okay with you? Well, sure, I’m so Christian I think it’s fine as long as he’s obliterating Muslims because that’s what Jesus told me to do: go forth and blow up the whole world in MY name!
P.S. The Church is against “godless” or “atheistic” communism. St. Peter was a communist, Catholic religious societies are communist, and St. Thomas More wrote Utopia–long before Marx.
The things “Trump” is doing seem politically designed to offend libertarians and a lot of conservatives. Almost designed to break up a coalition and a movement which traces its lineage through (at least) Goldwater, Perot, Buchanan, and Ron Paul. With the stakes of world dominating power and money on the line, I find it really convenient and suspicious that “Trump” is suddenly a completely different guy than he was in 2020 and even campaigning in 2024. It is also interesting that he seems to have lost 3 inches of height and gained about 40 lbs.
It matters little, we’re only along for the ride.
Hi Ernie,
The loss of height could be spinal compression due to age. My dad was six feet but by the time he was in his 80s, he had lost several inches. Trump has also put on weight but this doesn’t surprise me, either. The man eats at McDonalds, after all!
Anyone notice the guy Trump is healing looks suspiciously like a certain J. Epstein?
The President of Iran condemned Trump’s insults of the Pope:
Masoud Pezeshkian @drpezeshkian – 13:19 utc · Apr 13, 2026
His Holiness Pope Leo XIV (@Pontifex), I condemn the insult to Your Excellency on behalf of the great nation of Iran, and declare that the desecration of Jesus, the prophet of peace and brotherhood, is not acceptable to any free person. I wish you glory by Allah.

Apparently Trump has deleted the offending post.

Will Trump’s Naval Blockade of the Strait of Hormuz Work? | John Mearsheimer and Joshua Landis
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIhG1t-Uvac
Prof. Joshua Landis in the interview: Israel induced Trump to cancel the [JCPOA] nuclear deal with Iran in 2018, because Israel preferred to keep Iran poor with sanctions, and assumed that they could bomb Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities.
It was another case of the megalomaniacal Israelis leading Trump by the nose, to disastrous effect.
“Ferguson, Haass, and Zelikow: How to Stop Iran From Winning the War” [The Brits have already refused to participate and US oil blockade of Cuba already broken by the Russians.]
https://www.thefp.com/p/how-to-stop-iran-from-winning-the-war
Trump’s blockade plan was cooked up by 2 Jews:(1) Richard Haass, WIKI: “He was president of the Council on Foreign Relations from July 2003 to June 2023, prior to which he was director of policy planning for the United States Department of State and a close advisor to Secretary of State Colin Powell in the George W. Bush administration.” (2) Zelikow Wiki: “He has worked as the executive director of the 9/11 Commission” (and was in Bush I administration) and (3) Nial Ferguson, WIKI: “a British-American historian who is the Milbank Family Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution,” 2/7/2010 “With their close ties to David Cameron and illustrious careers in academia and publishing, they were a formidable couple. But last night it appeared that the 16-year marriage of celebrated historian Niall Ferguson and former newspaper editor Sue Douglas has ended. The Harvard professor has left his wife for Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a glamorous Somali lawyer threatened with death for scripting a film critical of Islam….A source said yesterday that Ferguson, 45, has had eight affairs in the past five years, several of them in the past 18 months.”
Speaking of the GF…
She pulled the trigger on the Chevy Bolt. Not with the best deal, I would say, but reading about the *possible* longevity and seeing the state of the world and its influence on fuel prices, the car still *might* pay for itself by savings on gas purchases.
It has been an interesting experience so far. Being a reader of this site for years, Eric’s fair and reasonable reviews of electric vehicles and their shortcomings did not fall on deaf ears. But my woman likewise didn’t ignore my ranting about my calculations regarding our “free” (there is a one-time purchase fee, and it was mostly in-the-books, anyway) electricity and the price of fuel going sky-high for now coming to argue for the purchase of good, inexpensive EV.
Now, it is certain, I hear Eric’s “EeeeeeVeeeee” everytime I say that. Being a 2022 model, there is certainly an over abundance of electrical and electronic bullshit built into the car. No doubt, caution must be used on the rugged dirt roads where I live while in this car. I do wonder how much other pain might be involved.
But life is the ultimate experience. Already, as she searched for the best insurance mafia, she added the car to our, um, ever expanding fleet, and found that even with the addition of the (mostly) new car, there was a better option than that family which I’d been paying for years. Apparently, these mafia families like to boil their frogs. We will be saving ~$50/ month *with* the new car and insurance.
May the gods help us, but so far many of our unorthodox decisions are yielding dividends.
The greatest silver lining of all of this blustering, posturing, and war talk, is that the price of big gas puzzler vehicles, be it V8, V10, V12 or thw like, will probably drop like proverable rocks….
It happened during the 2008 gas crunch, and I’ve regretted not buying more big rigs then.
I’m looking forward to the coming bargains….
Gas will drop again….it always has….
‘Gas will drop again … it always has …’ — Saxons Wrath
You’re right. Recession or depression will slash demand and take it back down. Meanwhile, Donnie Destructo has some timely advice for all of us:
‘On Sunday, Mr. Trump told Fox News that while he hoped gas and oil costs would drop before the midterms, prices “should be around the same” in November — and might be “a little bit higher.” — NYT

Every week Donnie’s insane war continues, the R-party loses one more seat in Clowngress in November.
I’m keeping my V8 Silverado, Saxons. One goal is that one day, I will produce hydrocarbon fuels on site.
Side note to Eric:
I just learned this. All this time, my GF was perplexed by my patronage of your site, because of this:
https://www.ericthecarguy.com/
You were often described by yours truly as “Eric the Car Guy”. None of what I told her was happening on your site seemed to be happening there… 😀
Just FYI.
Interesting!
Well, I suppose I’m not the only Eric in town!
ZeroHedge: Massachusetts Dems Advance Bill To Limit How Far You Can Drive In Your Own Car

Yep. Thanks for posting that.
For the Trump-haters (and I am not a Trump-lover, just a realist): yes, Tump screwed us over and is beholden to the Zionists First.
BUT… the “alternative” is not any better. Imagine the lesbian governor of Massachusetts sending the MSP to arrest you because you drove “too many miles” in your own car… well, they’re working on that.
Thanks for the heads up Landru,
Just emailed my state rep and senator with a politely worded WTF are you thinking message. This is the first I’ve heard about that bill so they are obviously trying to sneak it through while no one is paying attention; I will do my part to figuratively shout it from the rooftops to everyone I encounter in my area.

Hi Sparkey,
I foresee a similar bill coming to Oregon as well, particularly if its current Queen, er, governor, gets another term this year, AND Democrats keep their precious supermajority in the state legislature. They’re all in with this cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimate change lunacy. I also heard that California is pushing a vehicle mileage tax, which would likely also hit the masses the hardest.
There’s also an initiative petition that is likely to be on the state ballot in November that, if passed, would effectively BAN hunting and BAN meat consumption, probably under guise of “Stopping cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimate change” or “Saaaaaaaaaaving animals”. It’s called IP28. If Oregonians stupidly pass that like they’ve stupidly passed other demented ballot measures the past few years, it’s likely to spread to other states, particularly blue states that are pushing climate change lunacy
Our failure in WA to eliminate the Carbon Grift (initiative on the ballot in 2024 failed big time) convinced me the voters here will never escape their brainwashing. Logic and actual facts be damned.
The mileage tax has kicked around WA for some years now, well I just looked it up. NOTHING in the media about this but it sure looks like it’s on its way now! ‘They’ won’t give up.

WTI crude opened up over 8%, topping $105. European gas futures surged more than 10%. — ZH
Thanks, Donnie! You’re a stable genius.
And now it’s back to 97. Yes, still a buck more than yesterday. And most likely, the panic mostly manifested in middle class, particularly 401(k)s, so they lost that 8%, and the big players pocketed that 8% ROI in a single day.
The big media (mostly Jewish) arranged to steal a fortune from everyone with any savings and transfer it to the big investment houses (also mostly Jewish). It’s crazy to hype this kind of stuff day after day, to the detriment of the people we should be rooting for.
‘If Trump is to be taken at his word …’ — eric
What is the word of a mentally disturbed person worth? Commentator karlof1 at Moon of Alabama is skeptical:
‘As with boots on the ground, a blockade is a Trump fantasy. The 5th Fleet no longer exists, and there currently aren’t enough ships in the region to man a blockade.
‘A suggestion no one has made: Iran could flood the region by allowing the 300+ ships bottled up in the Gulf to exit. That would overwhelm any attempt by USN to halt them. USN ships would need to be 1000Km at minimum away from Iranian coastline to avoid becoming targets. And then there’s the international blowback aspect others have noted which is very real. Trump risks losing all his East Asian vassals if he persists in this foolishness, while further alienating and infuriating Europe. Trump stands a good chance here of breaking NATO since his blockade constitutes an attack on NATO.
‘As the new Lego video says, Iran holds the keys to Hormuz and Trump has no way to attain them. The blockade is an act of war that ends the ceasefire along with the Zionist resumption of attacks on Lebanon. Ansarallah will now step into the conflict by closing its strait to enemy maritime traffic, and attack enemy shipping within the Red Sea. The Grand Mistake the Trump Gang made was to assume they were in the driver’s seat for the talks, when they were the ones relegated to the child seat and were there only to obey and facilitate Iran’s Ten Points.’

Trump now proposes to do what OPEC did in 1973 and 1979: strangle the world’s oil supply. In other words, we’re the bad guys now. Apparently, neocon fools at the American [sic] Enterprise Institute talked him into it. How did Frank Roosevelt’s oil embargo of Japan work out for us? (Remember Pearl Harbor.)
Should Donnie Destructo succeed in his oil embargo, economies will start to die, starting with oil importers (e.g. Japan, Taiwan, Korea), poor countries, then Europe (Ireland already is feeling the pinch). Trump is now more hated than Hitler, because he’s a much bigger and more dimwitted a-hole.
So is the Orange Douchebag signaling his buddies to make their bets tonight in the futures markets – oil up stocks down? Interesting how he wants to close the strait that he just insisted Iran open. The MSM story of two US Navy destroyers transiting the Strait of Hormuz turns oit to be a half truth, those ships did a quick U-turn when threatened by Iranian drone strikes. Maybe we’ll get lucky and tRump will stroke out while frothing at the mouth while furiously typing a rant at 3:00 am.
Yep! My thoughts exactly. How much you wanna bet Trump’s Zionist henchmen are taking short positions in the “shtock maa-ket” right now and buying up oil futures?
LOL you can bet your ass…
Kushner, Milken, Boesky, Madoff, etc. are only the ones who got caught…
UGA is your friend. Go look it up. Go buy some
Ever since this war started I’ve been keeping my gas tank and gas cans full, because once they sink a carrier $5 a gallon will be just a memory. The bigger problem is the effect a fertilizer shortage will have on food prices. We can handle it I figure but the amount of unrest in poorer countries will be eye opening.
Just filled my vehicle tanks, and also stocked up on more food than usual. Now I can hunker down for awhile if need be. But in much of the world, the precariat does not have this luxury.
Trump (doing his Obama invitation): ‘We starved some folks.’
This week!!?? That’s so last week here in WA. This morning, 87 w/ 10 % corn was $5.41 at the Co-op. Chevron 87 @ $5.50 and their diesel was $6.11
