The “screw your freedoms”man is . . . back. To borrow an emphasis.
He said the other day that the reason he cannot support Trump – his “deal breaker” – is that the latter does not believe (italics added) in it.
“It” being the assertion that carbon dioxide is a pollutant (more italics) that he believes is causing the “climate” to” change.”
“I am big believer that we have to do something about pollution,” the former governor of California explained. More about that italicized word follows below.
It is always the presumptive (and royal) “we.” By which he means you and I will be forced to “do something” to assuage his belief about the “climate changing.” But that is not what’s especially noteworthy here. We – you and I – already know Arnold is one of those Republicans who believes pretty much everything Leftists say must be believed. Including that late business about wearing “masks” and imprisoning the populace and coercing unwilling victims to submit to medical procedures because “COVID.” That told us a great deal about who Arnold is. As opposed to the people he portrayed.
Many of us made the mistake of believing – based on his acting – that he was a guy who opposed The Man. We – you – and I – found out that Arnold was only posing, like so many entertainers.
He is no longer acting. The real Arnold is on the stage now. The one that was always there. The one who pretended to be the brawny defender of – yes – our freedoms. You may remember the opening scene in one of his most iconic movies, The Running Man. He plays Ben Richards, helicopter pilot and hero of the movie (which is based on Stephen King’s novel). Richards gets into trouble with The Man when he refuses to fire on unarmed and starving civilians. “Proceed with Plan Alpha,” The Man orders. “Eliminate anything moving.”
Cue the acting many of us believed was actually Arnold:
“I said the crowd is unarmed. There are lots of women and children down there! All they want is food for God’s sake!”
You know, kind of like “our freedoms.” That was all we wanted, too.
“As you were, Richards. Proceed with Plan Alpha,” The Man orders. “All rioters must be eliminated.”
“The Hell with you!” says Richards – who of course was not Arnold. The latter was just reading lines. We – you and I – made the mistake of believing he believed them. The Hell with you meant the Hell with you and I. Like so many Leftists, Arnold believes in freedom – for himself and others of his caste, such as the current governor of California, who got caught during “COVID” flagrantly ignoring the “mandates” he ordered the masses to obey.
Like Gavin Newsom, Arnold is fabulously wealthy and so what does he care whether your small business is forced to close? Whether because”COVID” or because the “climate” is “changing.”
It does not affect him.
The callous arrogance of such people is so extreme – and unconscious – that it is difficult to believe it could be so. It is especially jarring when juxtaposed with beliefs we had about who people such as Arnold are. They are as mistaken as the belief some people had in the old Soviet Union that if only Stalin knew about what was being done to the average Russian by the Communist thugs. Of course, Stalin was the head thug.
Now that Arnold is no longer acting, we can stop believing. This is a good thing – because it is a bad thing to confuse acting with reality. 
There is another thing. An interesting thing. It is that business about “pollution,” as Arnold styles it. By which he means carbon dioxide, the gas that plants need in order to emit the oxygen we need.
He is reading lines again.
Leftists have begun another of their orchestrated campaigns – celebrities and “influencers” are very useful idiots here – to mind-diddle the public into believing that carbon dioxide is essentially the same stuff as the stuff that clouds the air and causes people to wheeze and eyes to water. That it is a pollutant, in other words – essentially the same bad stuff as the stuff that used to come out of the exhaust pipes of vehicles. The Left knows this stuff has been all-but-eliminated from the exhaust stream of vehicles since the late 1990s, which if you’re counting was about 30 years ago. That’s why the skies are clear and people’s eyes aren’t watering anymore. 
But that leaves little to screw our freedoms in the name of. So the Left – which Arnold works for now and probably always has – realized it was time to rename the gas that plants need to emit the oxygen we need a “pollutant.” Because no one is in favor of pollution. Just as no one – almost no one – is in favor of pogromming people who happen to be Jewish on account of what the government of the state of Israel is doing. But it’s useful to call such critics of the government of the state of Israel “anti-Semites.” That is, Jew haters.
Just as it is easy to call a harmless – and necessary-to-life – trace atmospheric gas a “pollutant.”
Trump is right when he describes this as “… the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world.”
Of course, he’s screwing our freedoms, too. Because – just like Arnold – he’s just acting, too. Some will find that hard to believe – right now. Just as it was hard to believe – back then – that Arnold was not the dude he was wanting us to believe he was.

On January 21, 2022 Arnold Schwarzenegger ran a red light with his GMC Yukon Suv and ran over a Prius causing severe injury to the driver. I can think of no clearer picture of a double standard. So with a vehicle he loudly condemns for you and me to own, he destroys the one he seeks to force us in.

Eric you have chickens which is a great start. I can see you being mostly or all off grid some day. I guess the next step is getting a dairy cow and either living close enough to other farms and ranches to be able to trade for their beef veg and fruit or grow your own. You could start some fruit trees and a container based or raised bed veg system. Maybe you’ve already done that! A lot of off grid living comes down to time spent growing/prepping the food most of us enjoy the convenience of buying at the market. I know a few people now who have retired or have a spouse who has retired and have gradually moved into a more homegrown lifestyle. I admire them but boy do they spend a lot of time on it. For me that would be a huge learning curve as I have never grown anything on my own!

Hollywood is about to release a remake of “The Running Man”, replacing Ahhh-nold with Glenn Powell as the protagonist in a more faithful (in theory) adaptation of the book.
Powell is often promoted as an anti-establishment type, but his track record is extremely mainstream, including two of the biggest hit films in the post-Covid era.
Whatever Ahhh-nold is up to may be in advance of his being involved with publicity for the new release. Given that the director, Edgar Wright, is a serious 80s/90s movie fan, I have no doubt that the Governator appears in a cameo at a minimum.

In that clip I posted, I learned that Tony Blair was pushing Digital ID in the UK years ago but it was scrapped in 2010. Is Blair calling the shots now that he hasn’t been Prime Minister for years? I have always lived a very “low profile” life, largely avoiding all of the entrapments of the state and the fascists. But as you know, it’s getting harder and harder to even exist on the fringes, due to all of their technology (Maintaining privacy and freedom was so much easier a few decades ago!).
But now we are really getting down to the wire, and this Orwellian BS is becoming reality, just at a time when we’re getting older and should be able to “relax” a little. I’ve always tried to position myself for this, but I think it’s time that we have to take action as all of the loopholes are being closed-up, and if we’re not we need to be to weather the storm, our opportunity to take that action will be gone.
It’s hard, because it means making radical changes to our lives, and essentially living in a different mode and giving up a lot that we have become very comfortable with; But that is how they are able to impose this tyranny on billions of people, -because it has been implemented gradually, and we give up just a little at a time until it [our liberty] is all gone simply because we get used to it and figure that we’ve managed to endure thus far… “But when the next infringement comes, THEN I’ll do something”.
I reason that no matter what we do, we are going to lose the lives we’ve made for ourselves. The choice is: Do we want to lose ‘just’ that, or that and our liberty? If we do nothing, we lose both; if walk away from the nice lives we’ve made for ourselves, we can at least maintain the autonomy, self-respect and liberties that we can not live without.
I am confident though that we will still be able to make nice lives for ourselves, It’ll just be different. But with the liberty that we’ll reclaim, and the detachment from the craziness of the culture around us; and being forced to live more naturally, we may end up wondering why we didn’t just say F’ it and do it sooner.
But may all of the evil bastards and their minions who are forcing this upon us rot in Hell! There is no reason that such evil should exist. They exist only because of the artificial power created by the existence of government! Which is why I have always refused to vote for any of them.

The last I checked only 5 states have NO option to opt-out of Real ID, ALL of them Republican states oddly enough. Is that because Real ID was passed by a REPUBLICAN Congress 20 years ago and signed into law by a REPUBLICAN President, George W Bush? I don’t know.

I’ve mentioned this before, but people who screech the loudest about cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimate change tend to be really big phonies. They also tend to be Uber wealthy elitist snobs, and ironically, people who constantly say they hate billionaires buy their BS climate change narratives. These billionaires fly in private jets to meetings in elitist places like Davos to lecture US on how WE need to give up our gas vehicles, eat bugs, live in an itty bitty shack, etc., to “stop climate change” while THEY continue to own yachts, fly in private jets (which have a far greater “carbon footprint” than a regular gas vehicle does in its lifetime), eat meat, and drive really expensive gas vehicles.
What’s also ironic is that when it comes to the whole climate change thing, NOBODY who preaches it ever talks about closing the HUNDREDS of U.S. military bases around the world, let alone putting a stop to endless war. I can only imagine how much “environmental damage” has been caused just since the start of the 21st century by all these wars that the U.S. government has been involved in, and now we have insane world leaders, NATO, and neocons who want a nuclear war with Russia either under guise of “Stopping Putin” or just out of sheer hatred for Russians. Why, I’ve even read that climate change zealots want nuclear war, which would leave any thinking person scratching their head.
There’s the rub. They hate poor people and want mass death. Oh not themselves of course, they believe they’ll be fine. Problem is, the rich get rich by getting pennies from the poor in exchange for some perceived value added. So Ahanold is/was able to put asses in theater seats, and he got a few pennies from the millions of people who watched him play act on celluloid. But he lost touch with those who brung him, and has disconnected from reality. Doesn’t help that the mother of all bubbles is still happily inflating, so (assuming he invested wisely), he really doesn’t need to get more asses in chairs, he just sits and watches his assets grow bigger thanks to the printer.
And that’s the real fear of “climate change.” What if the real estate bubble that’s made him so over the top wealthy pops because the rains don’t come or the snows don’t snow? Then what? Will people still think Aspen real estate is worth 100X if the snow isn’t perfection every season? Better to keep the world in a stasis that never changes from the late 1980s or their wealth might decline.
Of course no one ever talks about maybe a little more heat would be a benefit, or that plants might grow better when they have more CO2 available.

An aspect of this that fascinates me – purely from a human perspective – is why someone in Arnold’s position would be worried about losing even half his enormous wealth. The man has so much wealth his children’s children’s children will never have to work. Anyone worth say $5 million – pittance! – is in this position. Arnold’s net worth is estimated to be about $1.1 billion. That’s a thousand million dollars. It’s beyond demented to worry about money when you have that much money. He could lose 80 percent of that and still be wealthier than 99 percent of the rest of us. But he’s so out-of-touch (or just evil) that he is willing to shill for policies that will impose real financial hardship on people who earn less than $100,000 a year.

I would say Uber wealthy elitist John Kerry gave the game away a few years ago when he said (it may have been at one of those WEF meetings that billionaires & sociopath world leaders are so fond of attending) that implementation of the whole climate change/ Net Zero agenda would cost TRILLIONS of dollars. Translation: Endless fleecing of American taxpayers.

I’ve met Arnold’s type. Not quite that rich but more than they can spend in a couple lifetimes. That’s the underlying guilt of extreme narcism combined with kingly wealth. Probably spends so much time worrying about it and trying to increase it, he doesn’t value what he already has.
That’s a main reason I root for an epic collapse, to hear the cries and see the tears of those who think their wealth endows them with some sort of super smarts, when all they did was read a line somebody else wrote. Arnolds idea of charity is probably writing an occasional check to green peace or the tides foundation. And I’ll bet he brow beats contractors and everyone he does business with into only paying below retail. Looking at him now, his face tells the story of a real dickhead.

I admired Arnold when I was a kid because of his “story.” That he came to America with basically nothing and worked like a demon to become successful as a bodybuilder and then used that to become a movie star. I figured he understood struggle and respected those who do. Now it turn out he’s just another rich dick.
Historical note: The Running Man was based on a Stephen King novel of the same name, released in 1982 under the pseudonym Richard Bachman.
I read the book back then. King was at the top of his game, and we didn’t know or care about his politics. Watched the movie again a couple of years ago, it is still entertaining.

Politicians like actors thrive on your adulation. Perhaps the most intelligent thing to do is shun them (like the Amish). Imagine if they held a rally and no one came or starred in a new blockbuster and no one went to the theater to watch it. If we did this consistently to those who browbeat us in public and mock us in private it would eventually (hopefully) get the results we desire.
Violence on the behalf of GovCo is generally deemed acceptable but not by the general population as a means of redress, so shunning and boycotting is the only “safe” way of doing it.

I’m never understood the fascination that the plebs have for people in positions of power or are famous. Personally, it sounds like hell on Earth, but I don’t find any of them that interesting, awe inspiring, or intelligent. I would be hard pressed to name someone alive today that I would want to meet or talk to. I don’t want their pictures, autographs, or attention. They are individuals who are talented in one particular area (some have no talent, yet are forced on us) I don’t see how or why that would create fascination.

I like the way the people in Nepal visited some violence on their government. They pulled the politicians out into the street and beat the crap out of them, then set the parliament on fire. Our Clowngress would benefit from a similar action.

The one thing that might stem the tide is the collapse of the GovCo minimum security youth indoctrination centers that are styled “schools”. As Ron Paul has pointed out, homeschooling has exploded since the Covidiocy hit. That’s the good news.
Homeschooling and private schools have exploded in Az. Enrollment for private school is so off the charts, mini charter and private schools are opening in retail mall space. All while the public school enrollment is cratering. You know that’s a good thing when our communist governess and AG she-devil fights tooth and nail to end a program that allows every child to get the type of solid education these two sea hags got for their own kids. A good voucher program in every state cures this fake narrative of climate change in one generation.

If Dawn and I were to have kids (it’s probably too late as we’re getting too old) it’d be an off-the-books baby. No SS number (let the kid decide when he or she is of age whether to “enroll”) and no “vaccines,” either. We are competent to teach a kid how to think – and the rest is incidental.
Still a few people around here who do that, Eric. Home birth, with a doula, no vaccines, home school. It’s incredible the difference in the caliber of kids based solely on those factors versus the ones thrown into the public schools from a young age. Anyone still considering it might want to live among the Amish. You’d have a great support system with less pushback.
