Here – the headline accompanying this story – is a measure of how far down the road we’ve gone. “Thank you,” says the president, to “all of our great TSA agents” – those blue suited government workers who serve essentially the same function as guards in a prison, which is of course what airports have become.
With some differences, of course.
Prisons house criminals whereas airports are full of ordinary citizens just trying to travel by air somewhere. Prison guards prevent the prisoners from leaving whereas these “TSA Agents” – the term is as supercilious, like calling a person who works as a cashier at Wal Mart an “associate” – do not prevent the “terrorists” from flying. If an actual terrorist wanted to get on an airplane, he could do so easily – by buying or just renting a private airplane, where TSA Security Kabuki is not performed.
We are supposed to be believe that actual terrorist organizations lack the money to rent airplanes – or even buy them, if they needed to. Of course, we are also expected to believe that steel-framed buildings with multiple/redundant support columns can collapse straight down at near-freefall speed as a result of office fires after not having been struck by a jet airliner.
Most people do not even know that the TSA’s Security Kabuki isn’t played out at private aviation terminals because most ordinary people do not have the means to rent or buy a private airplane. The fact stands, however, that the TSA is a kind of permanent troupe of blue-suited performance artists paid to degrade the masses using their own stolen money.
Trump thinks these performance artists are “great.”
Feeling gobsmacked?
Of course, this emanates from the same president who decried as “stupid” the “foreign wars” he repeatedly promised he would never start if elected.
And yet, here we are at war – again.
This is what the Italian Marxist Gramsci meant when he wrote about the long march through the institutions. That is to say, the time it would take to infest the schools and the government and the press with Marxists, such that over time, they would imbue the rank-and-file people with Marxism.
Oh, but Trump is MAGA!
That is akin to saying there is a meaningful difference between team Red and Team Blue, who both play for the same side. The one that’s playing against you, if you’re simply wanting to be left in peace and be held responsible only for what you – not others – do. That is a concept antithetical to both teams because their very existence depends upon collectivizing everyone and then pitting these collectives one against the other.
You are either with us or you are against us, as The Chimp so baldly put it.
Meaning part of this belligerent and aggressive collective or that belligerent and aggressive collective. So-called “conservatives” – whatever that means – vs. so-called “liberals” – which means something very different than what Jefferson meant when he used that word. Observe that neither collective adheres to the principle of leaving individuals in peace, free to live their lives as they wish so long as what they do imposes no quantifiable harm on other people.
Of course, America hasn’t been free like that in a very long time. We aren’t even free to associate with one another – or not – as “COVID” made very clear, but which has in fact been the case as a matter of law since the mid-1960s.
We are inured to it, having grown up with it. The situation – profoundly abnormal, from a human point of view (it is arguable that the most basic human need is to decide for ourselves with whom we shall associate, whether intimately or casually) has become the new normal. Collectivism – and the authoritarianism that always and necessarily attends collectivism – is now as “conservative” as it is “liberal.”
Which is why it does not matter who you vote for, nor how hard you vote to get something different the next time. Because it is always the same thing. Because it cannot be anything else.
Because it is what it is.

Correction:
Prisons house *petty* criminals.
The real criminals walk free among us.
What if the war on Iran is NOT for the stated reasons but rather an excuse for the technocratic agenda being pushed by billionaire Technocrats?
https://www.technocracy.news/why-trumps-takeover-in-gaza-preceded-the-war-in-iran/
They will lose. Badly.
Who will lose badly, the Technocrats and those pushing this war with Iran?
What are you saying? It’s not just, “a habit” of the empire?
‘WORLD WAR BIBI: Trump Betrays America (And Charlie Kirk) For Israel. | Candace Ep 312’
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8ueJdPFel4
(Specifically, the 31:45 mark of the video.)
Or, do I repeat yourself? Idk. It’s a Crazy World.
Let’s not forget the American IOF–ICE…which has its headquarters in Tel Aviv…
ICE is being primed for martial law which is already being instituted in USA cities, getting residents “used to” seeing masked unidentifiable IDF types on American streets.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been transformed into a quasi-legal federal police force with not only questionable mandates but behavior bordering on criminality as well.
Most people are unaware that ICE has police powers that encompass 150 miles from any federal border. An interesting note, the entire state of Michigan is subject to ICE enforcement as all of Michigan is within 150 miles of a federal border.
ICE has been allowed to utilize face and badge coverings, supposedly to “protect” them from being identified. What is to stop ANY individual from utilizing face and badge coverings to criminally accost people just because they can?
ICE uniforms are identical to the uniforms worn by IDF (Israel Defense Forces) personnel in occupied Palestine and Gaza. In fact, federal agencies and USA police departments send their personnel on “free” trips to israel to “see how it’s done”.
ICE is riddled with IDF and mossad types starting at the top. ICE is an israel-controlled organization.
We are all Palestinians, now…
If ICE officials cannot perform their duties without utilizing disguises, they should find another line of work.
USA citizens and green card holders are presently being kidnapped and deported by ICE without due process. This is occurring with increasing frequency as we speak. This is right out of the IDF playbook where non-jews (Palestinians) are routinely snatched up and imprisoned without suspicion or trial under non-existent “administrative detention” laws.
I have no problem with deporting illegals. THAT is the chance that they took by entering the country illegally, but (and that’s a very big BUT), utilizing ICE out of normal Constitutional protections is a situation that will eventually affect ALL of us, USA citizens and green card holders alike.
Habeas corpus is a basic Constitutional concept that is applicable to ALL people within the borders of the USA. Yes, this includes illegals. Bringing them before a judge before deportation must be used in order to uphold the “rule of law”. If there aren’t enough immigration judges, additional judges can easily be hired and placed to handle the workload.
ICE must be subject to the same Constitutional restraints and “rule of law” as every police force within the USA.
Another aspect of un-American activities (prodded on by israel and the jewish lobbies within the USA) is the pinpointing, identification and deportation of student visa holders for having “the wrong political beliefs” i. e. protests against genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. THIS aspect of behavior by our government is unconscionable and must be prohibited.
So much for “free speech”…
“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize”.
I can’t disagree with ya, anarchyst. It’s a mixed up world when people even need to say, “I have no problem with deporting illegals”.
If we lived in an actual, “free country” such a notion wouldn’t even matter. I can invite whomever I want to my house and they can stay as long as I like… so long as they don’t forcefully take from others to do so – and the goobermint isn’t the middleman. IF, I actually owned the land my house is on.
Oh wait, this is too much thinking for most. I guess, I digress?

I’m hoping all of you on here complaining are still declining going through the body scanners and now saying no to the biometric picture they want to take.
Ive still not been scanned and i fly usually at least once a year or 2, though I used to have a traveling job so every other week I’d be flying.
Last time end of last year, a TSA guy actually asked why I didn’t want to be scanned because increasingly, I’m the only one. I told him I’ve been avoiding it for about 20 years now and everyone should. If the choice is molestation or radiation with a full body biometric scan down to the pores, I’ll go for the molestation. Ultimately they are useless of course- I even had a lady suspicious of something in my bag, but she couldn’t figure out which zipper to open in front of her face, so she said “whatever, I don’t have time for this” waived me through. I appreciated the abbreviated “search” but just proves they are theatre.

Weed got thru fine last week
Why would anyone remotely concerned with liberty still even fly? I haven’t set foot in an airport in nearly 40 years. I would not fly unless I could do so while still maintaining all of my Constitutional and God-given rights, including the right to keep and bear arms. And even then, I likely still wouldn’t defile myself by stuffing myself into a smelly metal tube with a bunch of ill-mannered obese classless cretins, -which is what the mainstream American populace has become.
I dont have time to take a ship to Europe, where you dont have rights anyway but I agree domestically, I drive cross continent as a preference. But from experience I can say there are few to no ill-mannered obese classless cretins going to eastern europe these days. Usually I’ve seen elderly outbound visiting the old country and a mix of vacationers, war refugees, businessmen, and elderly inbound.
Well Big A,
If you haven’t been to an Airport in nearly 40 years???…
Then why is your description of the place ..So Accurate??
Expat,
A)It was pretty bad 40 years ago. I can only imagine today. I’ve been to Walmart.
B)I hear stories from everyone who’s ever flown in the last c.20 years……
(I pretty much avoid most public places these days, unless absolutely necessary)
This is so idiotic: “If the choice is molestation or radiation with a full body biometric scan down to the pores, I’ll go for the molestation.”
As Arthur wrote, “Why would anyone remotely concerned with liberty still even fly?”
I guess, that answers things.
If I had to fly, I’d choose molestation and eyeball the offending ‘agent’ the whole time, to make him as uncomfortable as possible. But I haven’t flown since 2014. Also consider that the roadways aren’t free either with the po-po taking pictures and potentially harassing you about a window tint or tired eyes that look drunk… or worse, cameras that can read your license plate and determine if 9mph over the limit is too much for you amongst thousands seemingly at random.
Hi Andrew,
Yup. If I had to, I’d do the same – and worse. If I could manage it, I’d get a stiffy prior to the molestation and see how he likes it. Of course, he probably would….
True, Andrew E. The roads are increasingly becoming more of a net for snagging whatever the catch of the day is. When ya have a net, everything looks like a fish (Ditto when you’re roided up; have an IQ of 30, and are issued a badge and gun by the state, and given redistributed loot for using them to collect even more).
I’m very glad that I’ve been a position for quite a few years now to be able to stay mostly on my own property and only occasionally needing to go out.
This country is truly unrecognizable, and it’s getting worse every day. I’m sure, as long as one weren’t a Jew, Nazi Germany was a lot freer than America is today- seriously.
They’re going to get paid back. It’s law since 2019 that any essential workers will get back pay when the “budget crisis” is over. While they don’t actually get IOUs, they can work out deals with banks and utilities, load up the credit cards for a month or two, whatever.
As for the slowdowns, sickouts and resignations… They’re obviously being staged by the union to “raise awareness.” Notice they aren’t walking off the job (which is illegal as Reagan pointed out in the 1980s with PATCO) in Kansas City, only high profile airports like Atlanta.
I’m flying this week because of a funeral. I feel a whole lot safer on an airplane when I see that big reinforced and locked cockpit door than I do with anything else that has changed since 9 11. Locking reinforced doors should have been standard as one of the lessons learned after the highjacking incidents of the 70s, but the certification-obsessed industry pushed back for fear of the doors not working or something, so the cheap pressboard remained.
As for cabin security, knowing that many passengers will happily bumrush and subdue a crazy person causing a scene will likely keep Mohammad thinking twice before trying anything stupid in the US. Maybe if the TSA isn’t showing up we could start to open carry…
You feel “safe” seeing, “that big reinforced and locked cockpit door”?
Dang, you’re gullible.
“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”
― Helen Keller, The Open Door
I like your last line though.
I’m trying really really hard not to read your articles and the comments to your great articles lest I comment and just turn people off and waste my energy.
Paul Craig Roberts writes. “It is really shameful that Americans have permitted Israel to suborn them and turn them into women and children killers.”
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2026/03/paul-craig-roberts/turkey-is-the-next-iran/
How do, “we” un-permit?
“it is what it is.” … is not an answer.
Thanks, Helot!
I wish I did not have to write them. I wish I could just write fun articles about cars…
“great” you mentioned that senile fellow paul craig roberts. He needs to stop writing and just stare at the sky.
Anon,
Paul Craig Roberts is someone I know and so I take offense at your infantile and unfounded statement. Paul is a learned, accomplished man and far from senile. Who are you to call him such? What are your accomplishments in life?
This is not the place to post juvenile ad hominem attacks that add nothing of substance to the discussion.
Thank you, Eric. I never met the guy, but I think PCR is an accomplished journalist, a free thinker and a patriot.
Roger, Swamp –
I have yet to hear him say or write anything that is either ridiculous or indicative of senility. As opposed to what Trump says and writes on a daily basis.
Good to see you defending PCR. He’s not a great live interview, but he is a patriot and an honorable man.
Ditto, Mr. Rat!
I don’t personally know PCR, and while he is not a Libertarian, I can say without doubt that he IS a very principled good-guy, who is intellectually capable. He represents the ideals of what once made America great. He is one statist that I’ve always had a great deal of respect for. The best of the old guard!
Second that,
I read Dr. Roberts’ site on a daily basis; just like here with Eric PCR speaks truth about the Establishment.
I am not here to denigrate PCR, but I did quote him once on a forum a good while back and got ripped apart because I did not independently verify what he had said. What he said was not true after my further investigation.
It left a bad taste in my mouth.
Not mad at PCR, we all make mistakes and he taught me to verify what someone said is actually true before trotting it out like I knew what I was talking about. It made me look like I was talking out of my ass, which, truthfully, I was, because PCR did not verify before he wrote his article. I simply trusted him.
Im just an innuh-net dude. I do not write for a living. I have read many great articles from PCR. However, I hold published authors to a higher standard than people who comment on articles and once, so far, only once, has PCR failed IMO. I am not going to throw him under the bus for it. If anything, it was my lesson to learn.
But when I see Eric defend him like Trump just defended never-Trumper Levin, I think Eric appears the same. “Do Not Criticise My Friend, you arent MEGA, I am MEGA! I will excommunicate you if you criticize PCR”
Sorry Eric, I know you dont like criticism. It feels more like a personal attacks to you. If I did not like you, I would not be here. I hope you have a really good day today sir!
That’s, Super weird, “But when I see Eric defend him like Trump just defended never-Trumper Levin”.
No way, are the two, the same.
What’s your big error you claim PCR made? We are imperfect humans. But, whoa, do you ever seem to go overboard. Mega, not MAGA.
He made a false quote. One that most people in America believe to be true if they paid attention to the Hitlery Channel back in the day and still to this day.
Yamamoto never said it. I had posted a link to a PCR article and it did not get received well by the generally liberal automotive forum audience.
Hi J,
Well, there are tow points. One, I was responding to a jerk who had nothing substantive to say about PCR; just that he is “senile.” This is rather different than pointing out that Levin and Hannity and Beck are reliable regime apologists and Israel Firsters. Second, I know PCR’s bona fides and he’s not just some guy posting articles online.
Tow points? Laughing my rear end off.
At first I was like “tow points”, is that a new slang term? If you think about it, it could be.
Nothing substantive to say by an anonymous handle means an automatic skip for me.
However, you did not refute his claim of senility. What if he is now? I am not making that claim, but now, inquring minds want to know. What if he is? Are you going to gaslight America that Biden, er PCR is not in cognitive decline because you know who he was?
Eric, to me, he is just some guy online, just like you. There are a lot of people online. I suspect that in personal company, me you and PCR would have a great time.
But it is a logical fallacy to vouch for character to avoid the accusation. So technically, your post was not substantive either. PCR could be going senile. That does not make him a bad person. I also have not read any recent PCR as I do not visit LRC much anymore. Nothing wrong with LRC, I just got tired of reading what I already knew.
J,
Can you cite a statement of PCR’s that is incoherent? Can you cite any evidence that he is senile?
Hi Eric, that is not my job. My job is to decide who is telling the truth. Caveat Emptor. I did not lay the claim of senility. All I see is an offended response on your part. Neither of you, the verbal assailant nor the responder as having dealt with the issue at hand. Both are the same people who will find themselves in a legal battle over a stupid road rage incident, which is EXACTLY how it goes down these days.
I did not make the assertion that PCR is senile. Nor have you made a logical argument, despite knowing the guy, that if you have inside information that he is not in decline, no evidence has been presented.
But you are certainly pissed off with me to no end. I can tell.
J,
I recall you specifically using the word senile to describe PCR and also saying that he is an old man looking at the sky – words to that effect. I responded by stating I do not see any reason to suspect PCR is senile and asked you yo provide some evidence to support your statements. It is not up to me to provide “inside information” that he is “not in decline.” It is up you to substantiate your assertion that he is.
Its gen miltards fave conversation stopper.
It’s noteworthy that Israel doesn’t engage in security theater, but provides REAL security for its
national airline El Al and at David Ben Gurion airport.
They don’t make you take off your shoes, dump out liquids, or fondle your junk. Their security is focused not on potentially harmful objects, like nail files or peanut butter, but on potentially harmful PEOPLE.
They’re not shy about profiling passengers, and that profiling starts long before you even get to the airport. Booked a one way ticket? That’s a red flag. Traveling alone? That’s another red flag. Not checking bags? Yet another red flag. And if your name is Mohammed? Major red flag.
Now why can’t we do that? Oh wait, it’s not that we can’t, it’s that we won’t…my mistake!
Maybe if you’re Jewish/Israeli Jewish Citizen (?). I asked the following Q of AI:when you fly to israel are you searched by security? A: Yes, everyone flying to or from Israel is subjected to intense security screening, which is widely considered the strictest in the world. Procedures include individual, in-depth interviews, meticulous luggage inspection, and potential electronic device checks. Security begins before entering the airport, and all passengers are checked, often involving detailed questioning.
Key Aspects of Israeli Security Screening:
Individual Interviews: Expect intense questioning upon arrival and especially departure regarding your trip, packing, and contacts, as described by World Nomads and Tourist Israel.
Thorough Luggage Check: Hand and checked luggage are scanned, hand-searched, and potentially dismantled to check for prohibited items or explosives, note Bein Harim Israel Tours.
Security Procedures: Security personnel at the terminal will check your passport and boarding card.
Vehicle Inspection: Vehicles arriving at Ben Gurion Airport are screened before entering the terminal area.
Electronic Device Searches: Security may request access to phones or laptops, notes The Washington Post and discussions on Travel Stack Exchange.
Tips for Travelers:
Arrive Early: It is advised to arrive at the airport at least 3-4 hours before departure.
Be Patient and Honest: Answer all questions calmly and truthfully.
Pack Your Own Bags: Never carry items for someone else, and be prepared to explain everything in your luggage.
While the process can be intense, it is a standard procedure for all travelers aimed at ensuring safety.
Fk em and thier pile of rubble fka Ben Gurion.
@18:30 I don’t know if this is true or not, but show Dialogue Works w/guest Stanislav Krapivnik says no bunkers on American bases in the gulf states. About half the soldiers are still there. Air defenses are gone. US is thinking about evacuating all of them but hasn’t done so yet.
https://www.youtube.com/@dialogueworks01/streams
The airlines themselves should be the ones running security as they did like pre-9/11.
Amen, bro!
I will never forgive the Chimp for caving on that. Which does not speak ill of me, because the Chimp will never repent.
If there’s one bureaucracy that should be “defunded”, it’s the TSA, along with the Department of “Homeland Security”. Weren’t both bureaucracies established shortly after the 9/11/2001 attacks under guise of “Stopping terrorism” & “Defending the Homeland”?
True John,
Funny how the Patriot Act and Gestapo aka DHS were whipped out within days of 9/11. They had all that police state stuff ready to go, just needed to stage an event to trigger it.
The authoritarians had tried to get this stuff under Clinton but, didn’t have the “Pearl Harbor Moment” to push it though. Then, son of a gun, 19 muz with box cutters hijack 4 jet simultaneously. Who’d a thunk it? Well, maybe Chris Carter…

You could make the case that prison guards at least perform a valuable function. Can anyone point to value-add of functional retards pawing though your luggage, fondling your daughter’s boobs, and irradiating you with god knows what? Ordinarily, these losers would be unemployable or lathering mustard on sandwiches at Subway. Like the pimple faced checkout workers barking at you to wear a mask during coof, we have to endure shitheads in blue shirts standing between us and our vacation. Great? Like MAGA great?
You know who are some of the worst people on earth? The real criminals and murderers? Do you, Orange Anus?
RE: “You could make the case that prison guards at least perform a valuable function.”
No. You cannot.
The victims are never made whole. All payments go to the State, not the victims. The victims have very very little say about anything. Plus, the victims are made to pay for the salary of the prison guards.
There’s nothing, “valuable” about them.
‘Judge Napolitano on the Virtues of Private Justice’
… “Think about it. If you steal my chicken or I steal your cow, this is a dispute between us; what does the government care about it? The answer should be it doesn’t care at all but because the state loves power and the state does not like to share power, it likes to resolve all disputes the way it wants to resolve them. This drives up the cost and diminishes justice because it forces the disputants to follow the state’s rule and the state’s command and the state’s way, and this does not inure to politeness, civility or even the idea that a dispute could possibly be resolved amicably and justly, without the state being involved.
The state is not an instrument of justice; it’s an instrument of power.” …
https://thedailybell.com/all-articles/asset-protection-strategies/anthony-wile-judge-napolitano-on-the-virtues-of-private-justice/
What a depressing article, Eric. Who is not allowing us to be free? This can be fixed real easily. If the TSA agents (all of them) didn’t show up to work. What would happen? If one is not being paid for the services they perform than they are a slave. In the case of TSA, they are a slave by choice. No one is at the agents houses with a gun to their head saying, “Show up for work or we will destroy you.”
We are made up a suckers. We willingly put the chains on and then cry because they are so heavy.
There’s never a lack of scumbags who are perfectly happy to take a paycheck in exchange for being able to abuse and humiliate tehe cattle. The real solution, would be for people to stop flying as long as they are being deprived of their basic rights in order to do so. But unfortunately, people will risk life and give up liberty for a little perceived convenience….so the vast majority of Americans simply don’t care.
SS officers not showing up for work — Pffft! Yeah…half of them would do it for free as long as they could pilfer people’s possessions and wear a badge and get to feel like “big men”.
They were probably promised double back pay if they continued to show up.
Yep. If only it were like the private sector, where there were no backpay. Gotta have that if there’s any prayer.
The TSA is unfunded because it “offed some folks” in Minneapolis … and was headed by She-Wolf of the SS Kristi Noem, who lost the confidence even of Donnie Fubar. Now there’s a stand-off in Clowngress over funding it. So little people have to be punished.
TSA inspections at airports are a massive time-suck tax. They also create grifting opportunities, where you can “pay a fee” to avoid some of the worst aspects of their institutionalized harassment.
But you can be a “good German” by showing random acts of kindness to your prison guards:
‘Erik Hansen, head of government relations at the U.S. Travel Association, said he expects to see “hours-long wait times” at airports near universities and near travel destinations.
‘Hansen said he encourages folks [sic] to bring gas cards or pizza to TSOs [Transportation Security Officers] or “things that can support TSA during this time to the airport to show appreciation.”
“It’s not going to alleviate all the pain, but at least it sends the message that they’re valued and they’re important. In the absence of Congress doing anything, someone has to step up.”
https://thehill.com/policy/transportation/5783795-tsa-shutdown-impact-spring-break/
C’mon, Eric … head down to ROA and hand out some pizzas to TSA heroes. You might even get featured on TeeVee! 🙂
Erratum: “it” –> “ICE” offed some folks … sorry.
Gee, I wonder what happens if you don’t offer “gifts”? Will extra pawing entail? Or if you do and they find “something” will it be considered a bribe?
Asking for a friend…
Uh huh. Will they not slap you in cuffs for bribing TSA “officers”?
I wish they would all stay home since they’re not getting paid, then we could all walk right up to the gate like back in the day. Guarantee a lot of retards would think that wasn’t “safe” because they’ve been so brainwashed by govco.
Wouldn’t that be nice, Mike? No proctology exam prior to boarding. You can keep your shoes on, as well as your pants (haha). Bring your own food and drink, and no one cares. Yeah, I am dreaming. Did you see the TSA now classifies peanut butter as something that is now forbidden? Ugh, TSA is up there with many other alphabet soup agencies that could get Fex Ex’ed to the trash bin of history, and I would not be the least bit sorrowful.
We once had a high trust society. Full of people who knew how to behave and kept those who didn’t away. That all changed when America decided to establish a beachhead in the third world. There was no need for it, but the fatally flawed domino theory said that communism will spread one county at a time, as if it were a Kudzu vine spreading through the forest. If the shithole countries fall, pretty soon will Europe and then Canada. Didn’t exactly go that way did it? Especially when the CIA started funding communist-style dictatorships in South America.
Why couldn’t we be more like Switzerland and less like Victorian Britain?
As a kid I lived in West Covina California in the before times. We left change in our car ashtrays, didn’t lock our homes or vehicles, and had no fear of crime. Wtf happened?
cobblestones asked, “Wtf happened?”
Perhaps, the answer is found in a title? ‘The Tyranny of Good Intentions’.
“… that paved the way for the abuses of today.” …
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2008/04/joseph-potter/thetyrannyofgoodintentions/
Right RK,
The rationale our overlords used to justify the Vietnam war was “if we don’t fight them there we’ll have to fight them on the beaches of California”. Too bad the commies have taken over California without firing a shot.
