A Spanbergering

Virginia’s new governor did something interesting the other day. Or – rather – signed something interesting. She has outlawed the issuing by the state – the DMV – of the Sons of Confederate Veterans license plates that people used to be able to get.

The bill she just signed was originally put forward by state rep. Dan Helmer, of Fairfax County. Fairfax is the very heart of darkness of Northern Virginia, which is ironic in view of the fact that Robert E. Lee commanded the Army of Northern Virginia in its fight to gain independence for the Confederate States of America.

That is not, of course, how the victors saw the fight. Nor modern re-interpreters of politically incorrect history such as as Helmer, who opined that “The Confederacy was a four year period in which traitors hellbent on preserving slavery tried – and then failed – to divide the Union.”

But that’s not quite right, is it?

The Confederacy did not seek to divide the union but rather to leave it. The distinction is important – which is why it must be suppressed and, when that does not serve, excoriated via deflection. Yes, of course, slavery was an issue. But the core issue was whether a state (any state) had the right to leave a “union” its people – via their representatives – no longer wished to be a part of. What the Confederate states did – what they tried to do – was exactly what the 13 colonies did, successfully. They fought to depart from the union with Great Britain. They sought – they asserted – their right to govern themselves, rather than submit to being governed by an authority they did not consent to. They took seriously that business the effronterous Lincoln talked about at Gettysburg of government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Yes, exactly.

That is what Spanberger and her damned Yankees deride, without openly deriding it. Instead, they harp endlessly about slavery and never mind that the commanding general of the Army of the Potomac, Ulysses S. Grant, owned slaves – technically, his wife owned them – while he commanded the army that eventually defeated the Army of Northern Virginia. But the really relevant thing as regards slavery as that the victory of the Army of the Potomac assured the enslavement of everyone, not just black Africans. This universal slavery was – and still is – far more clever than the clunky enslavement of just blacks that was practiced on the plantations of the Old South. Modern universal slavery is not overt, in the sense that that people aren’t literally chained or technically owned – like a car. And yet they are chained (and owned) just the same – to a system that obliges them to hand over a large portion of every dollar they work to earn (and then obliges them to hand over more, when they use what remains of that dollar to purchase an item – or even to be allowed to retain conditional possession of it.

That car you think you own? Do you, really? Many states demand the “owner” hand over money annually to be permitted to keep it and all states require the handing over of money, regularly, to be permitted to use the car. Just as every state in the union has negated the concept of being a free man by rendering every man a renter who can never own his land or the home that sits on it, but who is allowed to occupy it for as long as he continues to pay the rent (the property tax) which has rendered him as well as his home the property of the state.

Such slavery did not exist in the South or the North before 1865. It now exists in the entirety of the “union” that was enforced at bayonet-point by the Army of the Potomac. People could – and did – own their homes, once. There was a time when no American was compelled to labor for the benefit of others via an income tax, which is in fact a subtle assertion of ownership since a person who does not own his labor is by definition enslaved. Quibbling over the degree of slavery is like quibbling over whether a rape has occurred when the man’s penis has only been forced part of the way inside. An ugly way to put it, but rape and slavery are ugly things.

We are not supposed to think about such things in terms of what they actually are and that is why damned Yankees such as Spanberger (who is originally from New Jersey) want to get people to see Roberts E. Lee and the symbol of the Army of Northern Virginia as racist, rather than the leader of and the symbol of the Confederacy’s attempt to secure its independence.

It calls to mind the poignant funeral scene in the movie, Braveheart. Young William Wallace’s father is being honored by torchlight, with his clan playin’ outlawed tunes on outlawed pipes.

Just the same with the symbol of the Lost Cause.

  1. Can you imagine a Spanberg/ Harris presidency? Or, God forbid, one of the combos of Spanberg, Harris, and/or Gruesome Newsome? Now that would be stuff nightmares are made from.

I dread this but it sure seems to be on track to happening, courtesy of the Orange Destroyer. Does anyone remember DOGE? Or anything else we were promised but didn’t get?

    • “Can you imagine a Spanberg/ Harris presidency?”

Who would even notice, at this point?
Name any admin of the 100 years- R or D. They have all been utterly disastrous to liberty and to society. Was The Chimp and less detrimental than The Ape[Obozo]?
Has Trump been any less detrimental than Pedo Joe?
I would even go so far as to say that the R’s have done even more damage than the D’s. or at least as much damage.
At least when the commie-pukes are in, the more liberty-minded, even among statists tend to be more united and form a stronger resistance.

  2. I’m not going to Fedpost over this, but hypothetically if someone *did* do a Fedpost over this, even in real life, I would understand.

There are lessons in the violent disintegration of the Spanish Republic and the Spanish Civil War which we should all learn. Specifically that Bolsheviks never stop by themselves, they must be forcibly stopped. The second lesson there is that Franco did not kill anywhere near enough of them after winning the war – mercy is wasted on these people.

  3. I wonder how long slavery would have lasted if the Confederacy was allowed to to just be?

And how it would have evolved? Would it remain agricultural?

I also wonder if California will ever redeem itself. They seem very stubborn.

    • Slavery is a human institution, and every culture and race has practiced it. Some call it serfdom or debt peonage, some simply don’t have a name but employ income and property taxation.

  4. Off topic, a bit.

I’m hearing about how farmers won’t be able to afford fertilizer soon, namely due to a shortage of urea caused by the blockage of the Straight of Hormuz.

I was outside pissing on a tree and thought “Hmmm, what could be done about THAT?”.

  5. Imagine my shock – a woke libtard governator banning anything patriotic or confederate. Everything white is racist including white rice and white paper.

White people bad. Repeat. White people bad and must be eliminated.

All must forget the past and accept mudbrids – brown shitstain race mixing, dumbed down welfare lazy bastards who refuse to work and live in 15 min cities.

  6. I did an “early life” check on Helmer. I was not surprised to learned what tribe he is loyal to. My ancestors are not evil.

  7. no one on either side of the war should be celebrated for a war where 700,000 americans killed each other & another 60,000 lost one or more limbs … especially president lincoln who instigated the war

although lincoln tried to prevent the war by telling the south that slavery would be allowed in the 13 existing states they did not believe him because the republican party was anti slavery everywhere

other reasons southern states did not trust lincoln:

lincoln was a big supporter of the moral tariff that severely punished the southern states

Abraham Lincoln’s primary platform during the 1860 election was the non-extension of slavery, meaning he was committed to preventing its spread into any new federal territories

lincoln was, by far, the worst american president for instigating a civil war to end slavery when no other nation required a civil war to end slavery

Claiming slavery was not the major issue of the civil war is false and an unbelievable claim

The fact that lincoln was a racist agreeing to allow slavery to continue in the south does not change that

the 13 states should have been allowed to secede … they would have formed their own nation, where slavery would have ended sooner or later just like it did in every other nation in the world without 700,000 people killing each other

in my opinion trump is the second worst president in american history but he’s got three years to go and perhaps he’ll even beat lincoln

    good luck with spanberger

    • Why, welcome back, Dick!

“[L]incoln was a big supporter of the moral tariff that severely punished the southern states.”

A *moral* tariff, you say? I don’t believe tariffs have a thing to do with morality. No, Lincoln and his comrades wanted *money* for their pet statist projects. Money. Let’s not kid. That’s what the War to Prevent Secession was about.

“Claiming slavery was not the major issue of the civil war is false and an unbelievable claim”

No, I’m pretty sure the primary issue was money. Taxes. Though slaves made for a dangerous liability for the South that Lincoln sought to exploit.

“Abraham Lincoln’s primary platform during the 1860 election was the non-extension of slavery, meaning he was committed to preventing its spread into any new federal territories.”

Yes, apparently some states may have disliked blacks enough that they wanted nothing to do with slavery, as crazy as that sounds. Sometimes history is less rosy than we’d like to believe.

      • morill tariff increased tariffs on imports of manufactured goods from about 20% to 47% which almost entirely affected the southern states

the goal was to protect manufacturers in the northern states and also to raise money from the southern states to spend on all the states

tariffs are taxes and taxes are always to get money for governments

(due to a vision disability, i use voice commands to type for me and the confuser thought i said “moral”)

        • Ahh, gotcha. That makes more sense.

Sorry to hear about the vision. Mine has been a bit worse for wear lately as well. Voice-to-text also explains the lack of punctuation and capitalization as I was fairly sure you didn’t use to neglect these practices.

  8. It’s pretty disrespectful what she did with license plates and statues. She (of foul goblin DNA) has much more omelette making in store for you. It’s everywhere now and there will be no voting our way out of it, only shooting, sadly. For the world we had will forever be changed once the first shot is fired, and/or the first apparatchik hanged from an overpass.

A bigger sin against the State of Jefferson was recently committed by this goblin. I read somewhere recently, don’t remember where, that she signed an executive order giving over all the states electoral votes in future presidential elections to the winner of the national popular vote. Just like that, they can’t do away with the electoral college by lawful means so it will be done with EO’s (thanks Trumpforeskinstein and rhino P’sOS). Lots of illegitimate governesses’es lining up to follow suit. Our low IQ version, in Arizona, would have probably already done same, except it might be cause to make our R majority legislature get off their corrupt bloated keisters and impeach her. Plus, she’s pretending she’s some kind of conservative for the coming election. I have little doubt giving over all our electoral votes to the popular vote winner will be her first EO once she steals her way into another four years.

Stolen elections have consequences, demonstrated once again by left wing lunatics. Dont expect any help from the courts as they are corrupted by Jewish billionaire gayness as well.

    • You’re referring to what’s called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. Smells unconstitutional to me, but the constitution was dead a long time ago.

      • A State can allocate their Electoral votes however they want. The individual State may have a constitution or law that could make it illegal but the College can’t dictate it.

It’s still dumb. My state of Colorado has done the same. For a small state it means we will get next to no attention from candidates, certainly nothing more than a superficial visit to Denver to court large blocs.

They were sweating bullets in 2024 because the compact would have meant the state would give them to Trumpster. Since at the time only 17 States plus D.C. had signed on the compact only had 209 votes rather than the 270 necessary for the compact to become self-enacted and legally binding.

  9. The whole problem with the “War of Northern Aggression’ counter-claim is that it ignores the role of England in ENCOURAGING the Confederacy to split off, in the desire to get some of its old colonies back, or least absorb them back into the British Commonwealth. To a lesser extent France was involved in this as well as they sold the Louisiana Territory on the cheap to finance the Napoleonic Wars. Also, one needs to take a good hard look at Confederate Secretary of State Judah Benjamin (Jewish and a proto-Zionist) who tight with the Bank of England and was granted exile in Old Blighty after the war.

Eric, a lot of your analysis is dead on but the idea that the “good guy” Confederates were just trying to gain their independence is just as deluded as the idea that the war was some noble cause to end slavery. Like a lot of history, the causes are complex and there are no clear cut “good guys”.

That said, banning the plates is ridiculous.

    • Such as Confederate V.P. Alexander Stephens saying in what’s known as the Cornerstone Speech in 1861 as the articles of confederation were being drawn up that “Our confederacy is founded upon the great truth that the Negro is not equal to the white man, that slavery is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first in the history of the world based on this great physical and moral truth.”

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornerstone_Speech

Slavery wasn’t a distraction, the Confederacy literally called it a cornerstone. It was framed in the right to a State’s self determination, which was no doubt the main issue.

To your point, Sec of Treasury (Union) Salmon Chase sold bonds to the Associated Banks of New York, run at the time by James Gallatin. He planned to sell the bonds to the Rothschilds in London. Lincoln fought this action by the eastern banks to prevent them directly financing the U.S. in the war. He also continued to fight the national bank that Andrew Jackson had killed and Polk modified with the Independent Treasury Act of 1846 that was in effect until 1913 when the Federal Reserve was created.

Lincoln got passed the National Currency Act of 1863 and the National Banking Act of 1864 that nationalized money due to the chaos of all the states and banks issuing their own but prevented private banks from controlling the money nationally.

  10. Real American men once stood up the the bankers.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSzk3cuNz6c

How the first battle of the American Revolution actually started..

Rebellion was brewing in 1760s North Carolina. Farmers were fed up with taxes and a seriously corrupt government controlled by the english banking elite (King).
The Regulators peaceful demonstrations turned increasingly violent, and in 1768, a group of Regulators marched to the colony’s courthouse, dragged officials into the street, and brutally beat them. Then on May 16, 1771, in what became known as the Battle of Alamance, the english governors militia defeated the regulators who stood their ground, leaving some 100 wounded and 10 dead.

But, once word of this attack spread.. well, the rest is History..

    • “a group of Regulators marched to the colony’s courthouse, dragged officials into the street, and brutally beat them”

Let that spiritous rebellion rise again in our modern day! 🙂

  11. By Kirkpatrick Sale:
Why not believe Lincoln in his first Inaugural Address in 1861, where he says that he had “no right…and no inclination” to end slavery”—in fact he supported an amendment passed by Congress in 1861 that said the Federal government should never have “the power to abolish or interfere” with slavery where it existed. His only interest was in making sure the country stayed whole and undivided, and seeing that “the Union of these states is perpetual” and “no state can lawfully secede.”

Shortly after, Lincoln’s army invaded the South, and not a man among its ranks thought that his purpose was ending slavery.

As the war went on and the North was stymied, Lincoln then thought of adding the abolition of slavery as a cause for the North. But his Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 said only that the slaves in the seceding states were free, but not that it was the job of Northern armies to go about freeing them. Again, not one Northern soldier in the army at Gettysburg was there to free the slaves, only to defeat the damn Southerners who were fighting against the Union. The idea that they “gave their last full measure of devotion” to achieve “a new birth of freedom,” in Lincoln’s words, would never have crossed their minds.

After 1863 Northern propaganda worked assiduously to make the war about slavery because that at least had some moral fervor to it, which the real reason—to keep Southern riches pouring into Northern coffers—did not. The Battle Hymn of the Republic certainly helped, and Northern religious abolitionists were there to declare that that was their intent all along. The tragic death of St. Abraham and the Northern victory sealed the idea, and the victors, who write the histories, were delighted to sanction it for perpetuity, and everybody learned it in school.

  12. Eric, if Spanberger should be another one of these state governors who are ALL IN with Cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimate change lunacy, I’d be on the lookout for demented ideas like carbon taxes, vehicle mileage taxes, absurdly low speed limits on “Public roads”, restrictions on how many miles people can drive an automobile, hikes in state gas taxes & vehicle fees, etc.

      • A huge masker as well? As you probably know, there are those who would LOVE to do the COVID era lockdowns all over again, be it under guise of “The next pandemic” or labeled “Climate Lockdowns”, and mask zealots would also undoubtedly LOVE to order people to “Mask up” again under guise of “Stopping the spread of X”.
Heck, there are already efforts to frighten people yet again over “The latest COVID variant” with PSAs urging people to “Wear a face diaper in public!” & “Take the latest COVID booster jab! It’s the best protection against the latest COVID variant!”

Given the various idiocies of the past several years, sometimes I feel like we’re living a real life version of that 20 year old movie Idiocracy. The narrative “Vaccines make you healthy!” might well be a real life “Brawndo. It’s got what plants crave.” given the decline in Americans’ health over the past who knows how many years.

    • Hi John,
I got a reply back from my state Senator about Taxachusetts proposal to ration the mileage we would be allowed to drive. He assured me it’s not going anywhere, but we’ll see. Wouldn’t surprise me if they sneak it into some omnibus spending bill.

      • Hi Mike,

Oregon’s governor wanted to SHOVE MORE gas and vehicle fees and taxes down the throats of Oregonians under guise of funding ODOT, the state’s department of transportation. However, ODOT has a history of corruption and incompetency, and ODOT has also gotten into the whole climate change lunacy. But when it comes to government departments wasting money on garbage, to too many Democrat politicians, the answer is NOT spending money more wisely, but invariably imposing MORE TAXES on the citizens.

  13. The entire animus against all things to
do with the late Confederacy has been couched in terms of sensitivity to the sensibilities of African-American descendants of slaves, who we are told find things like Confederate flags and statues offensive. (Methinks African-American descendants of slaves have more important things to be offended about, such as illegitimacy rates north of 70 percent and the promotion of a culture that glorifies violence, sexually loose behavior, drug use, and sloth…but I digress.)

The real issue is that the Confederacy represents rebellion against federal tyranny, or at least federal overreach. Such rebellion is not acceptable. Ask anyone who was in DC on January 6.

Spanberger and her ilk are making that abundantly clear.

  14. Previous to the “War of Northern Aggression”, the federal government of the united States of America was an umbrella organization holed up in Washington DC and had very few enumerated powers. Coining money, establishing and running a post office and providing for the common defense were the federal government’s enumerated powers–nothing more.
A person residing within a particular state considered himself to be a citizen of that state, NOT an American citizen. Example: A person residing within the state of Virginia considered himself to be a “citizen of Virginia”, NOT a “citizen of the united States”. That all changed after the “War of Northern Aggression” was concluded. The federal government obtained powers not granted to it by the Constitution. It was all downhill from there.
We would be better off if “the several states” told the federal government to “take a hike” and restore the power that the states have always had, the federal government being subordinate to the states.
Of course, that idea is pretty much lost ever since the “War of Northern Aggression” was concluded and in today’s society as well.
Repeal of the 16th and 17th amendments would be a good start…

    • I am surprised that you buy into the whole “War of Northern Aggression” line while ignoring that role of Confederate SOS Judah Benjamin, his relationship with the Bank of England, and that he was granted exile there after the war. He also could definitely be regarded as a proto-Zionist.

I grimace every time I see the “War of Northern Aggression” line in that it is just as naive and one sided as calling it war to end slavery.

      • It was a war for independence and the northerners were the aggressors. In regards to Judah Benjamin, set a fire in any brush and out will flush a money-grubbing Jew. The same can be applied to the bankers. They have their usurious fingers in every pie. It’s of great significance that so many bankers are members of the tribe.

        • The British were “stirring the pot” on both sides but particularly the Confederacy which they were planning on absorbing back into the Empire were they to win the war. There was no “strong independent Confederacy” that was going to result from the war. They would have lost territory in the process as the French were hiding out in Mexico and were planning to help them take back Texas in return for getting some of there own territory back. You are also discounting that there were many living in the Confederate states that HATED the plantation aristocracy and did not want any part of a future Confederate States of America. This was not limited to what is now West Virginia but extended down into NC, TN and northern GA.

You have drank the whole “Lost Cause” mythology which hides a lot of the more unsavory/complicated aspects of the South.

  15. Steam power ended slavery. Not war. Not Lincoln. It took trained and educated men to manage the steam cycle without explosion. If Watt had used “human power” instead of horsepower to explain output it would be much clearer. According to ChatGPT a “humanpower” measurement would be about 1/7th HP (roughly 100W). So a 30HP steam engine would replace 200 slaves’ work. Sure, you’d still need a crew to load up a wagon that big, but the economics that drove slavery fall apart when you don’t need the numbers you once did.

I’d love to see an American history textbook from the pre-civil rights era, especially the parts about the civil war. In fact, most of the history I “learned” was about how rich New Yorkers and Eastern snobs screwed over everyone else. The industrial revolution was only about how Carnegie’s boy Henry Frick set the Pinkertons loose on the poor downtrodden steelmakers in Homestead works. Edison sued everyone who tried to compete with him, and those competitors ended up creating Hollywood. And the Civil War was all about slavery.

    • The REAL abolitionists, IMHO, were James Watt, Cyrus McCormick, Col. Edwin Drake, Nicholas Otto, Rudolf Diesel, George Westinghouse, and Thomas Edison, to name a few.

FYI, if we do as the Greenies say we must do and eliminate fossil fuels, slavery is coming back big time. They never mention that part.

    • My Mom and Dad had me way “late” in their lives. Both grew up in the Depression. My Dad was a combat wounded WWII vet. He very much loved history and had a very acute awareness of the “war between the states”. He told when I was a very young man “not to trust any written word about that conflict written after 1965” Good advice IMO. PS I’m named after a prominent figure of that era. He told me decades ago that someday I’d have to keep that to myself because of the “backlash” of it. Seemed super bizarre at that time but yea he was correct on that one too.

  16. According to Forbes now that Democrats are calling for an END to the war in Iran, the ‘Democrat’ Jew Schumer is now leading the charge for Congress to take the war over: “Our troops need a MISSION not a mess!”
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeQIMzXeLik

It’s the Jew double tap strike exerting control over the USG–get Trump to start it and the democrats to continue another war for israel that will destroy the U.S. and the world!

Schumer, the Jew, is also crying big tears about Trump attacking the Pope. It’s hideous how these Jews label the Iranians and Americans racist and oppressive while they conduct a scorched earth genocide against everyone in the Middle East who isn’t a Jew. Talk about the bombing in Lebanon, Schumer–the one that occurred AFTER the ceasefire! The “surprise” that carpet bombed Beirut–100 strikes in 10 minutes on residential buildings that killed over 400 people and wounded over a 1000!

On Holocaust Remembrance Day you’d think they’d examine themselves and the country they call the “greatest ally” of the United States: What has Israel ever done for the U.S.? Demand trillions of U.S. taxpayer dollars and murder and maim thousands of U.S. citizens to maintain and further Israel’s occupation of lands and people that don’t belong to it all the while spying on and blackmailing/buying our politicians and corrupting our governmental, legal, financial and religious systems.

But no on Holocaust Remembrance Day they’re enslaving the U.S.: WAR IS PEACE.

    • Israelis (Jews) with no loyalty towards the USA are thoroughly embedded within ALL USA federal government departments and agencies.
The USA “mainstream media” is also compromised as well, totally-owned by foreign Israeli and Jewish interests
It is generals and other senior military personnel who ARE loyal to the USA who are being purged. This is no different than the Bolshevik revolution of 1917 when Russian loyalists were replaced by Jewish Bolsheviks. I am willing to bet that the replacement military leaders all have Israel / mossad ties.
Trump is completing the final foreign takeover of the USA by Israel and Jewish interests. He is replacing REAL USA military personnel with yes-men military personnel who are loyal to Israel, not the USA and have mossad ties so that the coup by Israel and Jewish interests can finally take place.
ICE, FBI, CIA, ATF and other federal letter agencies have already been compromised and taken over by Israeli and Jewish interests. All of these federal letter agencies have offices in Israel as well as sending their personnel to Israel to see how it’s done. Most, if not all top-level personnel in these agencies are Israelis (mossad) themselves and hold command positions within these agencies.
Even the NYPD and other big city police departments have field offices in israel. WHY?
Currently, ICE personnel receive training in Israel military tactics and wear uniforms and face coverings identical to that of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). This all is by design.
We Americans are all Palestinians, now…not a joke.
      There is only one solution:
We the American people must recognize that there is an foreign enemy within that must be identified and dealt with…by any means necessary.
It’s long overdue to take the gloves off.
Life in the USA for ALL Israeli assets (those who hold Israeli passports) will need to be made uncomfortable with said assets being identified, called out, marginalized, shunned and eventually deported. Yes, this includes Israeli passport holding JEWS residing within the USA borders who must be thoroughly vetted. Requiring Israel passport holding JEWS to register as agents of a foreign government would be a good start. This should include all Christian evangelical organizations and members who support israel.
Any Jew (or evangelical Christian supporter) who has served in Israel’s military must forfeit his or her USA citizenship and must be immediately deported without exception.
ALL federal, state, and local government agencies and personnel must be thoroughly vetted and purged of all Israeli assets and supporters without exception.
ALL synagogues and yeshivas within the USA must be thoroughly investigated for terrorist ties, those identified as such must be shutdown with assets recovered to be used to rebuild Palestine. Yes, this includes the jewish propaganda freak shows known as holocaust museums which illegally constitute a state-supported religion.
As Judaism itself is a foreign political system disguised as a religion, tax breaks for ALL Jewish organizations presently receiving them must be abolished. ALL Jewish organizations within the USA are to be considered agents of a foreign government–Israel–until proven otherwise.
ALL dual citizenship must be outlawed within the USA with current dual passport holders within the USA being required to relinquish foreign citizenship and passports within 30 days under penalty of law.
ALL holders of any federal, state or local public office who hold dual citizenship and / or foreign passports must be summarily removed from office immediately without exception.
      Harsh?
Yes, but necessary if the USA is to survive.
The sad part is that the “good” Jews may have to endure suffering while the israeli assets are identified, rooted out and deported. At this point in the game, I don’t care about the “good” jews…

      • “ There is only one solution:
We the American people must recognize that there is a foreign enemy within that must be identified and dealt with…by any means necessary.”

You first arm chair warrior. Lol.

        • I am already doing my part by exposing jewish perfidy as well as the fraud known as the holohoax.
I have made many enemies and some friends with my pronouncements and writings. Getting people to THINK for themselves outside the box is paramount…
          What are YOU doing?
          Shalom, hasbara…

          • The phrase by any means necessary carries some pretty deep implications.

It amuses me how the armchair warriors are willing to throw phrases like this around but yet aren’t willing to lead by example. Most won’t even take action or accountability within their own lives to even marginally increase their own liberty and freedom in the limited domain they can control. Full of sound and fury but signifying nothing.

            • Hi Armchair,

I appreciate the reply. Speaking just for me – because I can’t speak for anyone else – I never once wore the “mask” nor kowtowed to any of the stupid “guidelines.” In fact, I challenged them numerous times – and would have gone to jail over it. I am prepared to go farther, if push comes to shove. But I can only speak for myself.

              • He’s right in terms of respecting power. A soft power like the enumeration in the Bill of Rights only continues to have teeth as long as there is believed to be a legitimate threat of hard power being used to enforce it. That can mean whatever you want it to mean. Mask or no mask didn’t change the fact that the same forces are still the ones pulling the strings. For most of us there was no real consequence to going maskless. You got called names, maybe at most were barred from a few places. It was a cake walk historically.

“Fugi, tene me. Cum revocaveris me domino meo Zonino, accipis solidum.”

                • Hi Harry,

Yes, but it has to start with refusal to comply, doesn’t it? It’s enormously frustrating that so many people won’t even do that.

                  • Yeah, you’re right, but masking is the tail end of the period when non-compliance would be effective. Compliance with paying taxes, getting licenses, registrations, certification, etc has been so ingrained with people for so long that going around mask-less was only a feel good and probably making more sheep uncomfortable, which is fine except they will have shut down mentally and probably fall on the side of the jackboot rather than being shocked and helping you instead. I’m not saying you should comply but I’m just saying don’t fool yourself into thinking it’s some act of resistance. At this point and going forward standing out from the crowd has to be balanced in risk/reward and for effect. Blending in, being grey man, might be better so that you don’t give away too much biometrics and end up in databased and watch lists. It depends on your goals and intention long term. You can’t undo some mistakes if you change your mind later. If you have no plan on how you’re resisting then, sure, be a thorn in their side, that’s fine. Realize that as you judge some people wearing masks did so on purpose not to be identified and since it’s now normalize in the collective psyche you can “mask up” to conceal your identity without this being a red flag. It cuts both ways.

  17. They destroy the past to control your future.

It’s said that those who fail to learn from history, repeat it. But, what if there is no history from which to learn?

    • Rest easy, Mark — there IS a history. But it’s a little selective:

‘As of this year, 29 states require Holocaust education in U.S. public schools, with mandates rapidly increasing since 2018 to combat rising antisemitism. These laws generally mandate instruction in middle and high schools, focusing on the history of the Holocaust, the ramifications of prejudice, and responsible citizenship.

‘Mandatory States: Over 75% of K-12 students live in states with a Holocaust education mandate. Notable states with strict requirements include Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, California, and New York.

‘Resources: Teachers frequently use resources from the [federally funded] United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and initiatives like Echoes & Reflections.

‘Legislation: The Never Again Education Act, passed in 2020, helps fund teacher training and resources at the federal level.’ — AI Overview

All of this is classic communist united front strategy: subvert the government, and then use it to oppress and persecute the people it was supposed to serve — at their expense. Just like China forcing the surviving families of condemned criminals to pay for the bullet used to kill them.

  18. If you think it is bad now, wait until the Indian-born muslim Lt. Governor, Ghazala Hashmi, runs for the top job in three years.

  19. Communists invariably endeavor to destroy peoples sense of their past history by destroying monuments, statues and apparently license plates commemorating the sacrifice of people fighting for their country.

Zero Hedge had an article on the unconstitutional laws castrating the Second Amendment. Apparently the DOJ objects to it.

For what it’s worth HB217 doesn’t go after your Yugoslavian SKS but only because the SKS holds 10 rounds.

  20. ‘The bill [Spanberger] just signed was … by rep. Dan Helmer’ — eric

    Who is ‘Dan Helmer’? Wikipedia:

‘In 2021, “Helmer’s” Republican opponent, Harold Pyon, distributed a campaign mailer to homes in Virginia’s 40th district, which featured ‘Helmer’ at a table piled with gold coins.

‘Helmer,’ who is Jewish, said [that] in the mailer, his nose was accentuated and his West Point military insignia was removed from his jacket. He claimed the flier exhibited “antisemitic tropes” which distracted from talking about the issues. Pyon’s spokesman claimed the mailer was not antisemitic and could be used against any politician who raises taxes.’

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Helmer

In the case of ‘Helmer’ we’re not even speaking of ‘damn yankee’ carpetbagging, but rather of an even more alien (and destructive) culture imported from eastern Europe. The governor’s surname ‘Spanberger’ hints of similar origins, though it’s the adopted married name of the gun-grabbing harpie.

But we are not supposed to ‘notice’ or discuss these multiplying ‘cohencidences.’ Why?

    • ‘Daniel Isaac Helmer’ was born in New Brunswick, N.J. So like ‘Spanberger,’ he IS a carperbagger by birth, within the longer arc of his rootless cosmopolitanism. No political resume would be complete without this obligatory fillip:

‘”Helmer,” the grandson of Holocaust survivors, has expressed support for Israel’s right to defend [sic] itself. While he is running for Congress in Virginia’s 7th District as of 2026, major AIPAC spending in recent Virginia primaries was notably directed against candidates rather than specifically for ‘Helmer’. For instance, AIPAC’s super PAC, United Democracy Project, reportedly spent over $2.3 million to oppose a candidate in a different race.’ — AI Overview

Ah yes — ‘primary’ [verb] any candidate who would dare speak up for America or — God forbid — the South. Just as several rich Jews are doing to Thomas Massie in Kentucky. And now young ‘Dan’ is being groomed for Clowngress, where he can support an even larger tribute to Israel starting in 2028, when its current $3.8 billion a year deal expires.

Such a deal! Milk the goyim cattle without even provoking one ‘moo’ of resistance. 🙁

    • “Helmer supports universal background checks, banning high-capacity magazines and silencers, regulating private gun sales, and red-flag laws”

See, goyim, you can’t be allowed to own guns. Only a Jewish West Point graduate who fights for Israel in the ZOG army can be allowed to own guns…

    • After just a few months in office, Spanberger is even worse than our god awful Governor Hochul. Spanberger wants locks on stored firearms and doing petty stuff like getting rid of coolmmemotive license plates she doesn’t like. The south should have won.

      • Amen, Groundhog!

Lee’s mistake was to fight like a gentleman. A fight is never fair. One fights to win. Lincoln grasped this – and fought to win.

        • We are fighting them like gentlemen. They are using our own good will and rules against us. Our one independent nation, is slowing but almost surely becoming part of the global state

          • This! They use every tool they can beg, borrow, or steal. We have been following THEIR rules and obeying.

The following isnt mine, I’ve seen it several places so cannot really attribute it, but it’s worth a read.

“ There were two schools of thought on the Spanish Right in the lead-up to the civil war: Accidentalism and Catastrophism.

Accidentalists believed that the serious issues facing the Spanish Republic were not baked into the institution itself, but rather an accident that could be attributed to the early Marxist bent of the first government.

The Republic had gotten off on the wrong foot, but Conservatives could and would steer the ship in the right direction once they peacefully won political power through the electoral process and formed a government capable of addressing the Right’s concerns regarding government attacks on the Church and private property. They were strictly committed to following the rule of law and operating within the constitutional framework.

The second group believed the Republic was a catastrophe from the start, and that there could be no saving the Republic from itself.

They asserted that the Left would never recognize any non-Leftist government, no matter how much they claimed to uphold the rule of law, because the problem was not with the Republic’s legalistic procedures but rather with the fact that the entire system was merely a facade to facilitate a Socialist and eventually Communist state that would permanently exclude Conservatives from power.

These two camps were largely united in their politics but divided in how to engage in politics. One pursued reform, while the other waited for an opportunity to overthrow the system itself once enough of the Right realized that there would be no voting their way out of this mess.

After the Right won the 1933 elections and were met with: 1) Legalistic stonewalling when they attempted to form a government, and 2) An attempted Left-wing revolution in Asturias in 1934, the Catastrophists were proven to be correct.

As 1936 dawned, most Conservatives in Spain had been convinced by the events of the previous five years that the Republic was a catastrophe initiated by a delusional and vindictive set of Left-wing fanatics who sought absolute power. And they were right.

The problem was that the Left associated the Spanish Republic with Left-wing policies, not with concepts like “democracy” or the “rule of law.” So when Socialists talked about “democracy,” they meant it was their political experiment to wield power, not someone else’s. The Right didn’t realize this until it was too late. When they sought to play by the rules and win elections through the legitimate democratic process, they found out that the Spanish Left was utterly unwilling to recognize the Right’s moral legitimacy to even exist, let alone wield political power to “turn back” any of the “progress” they had already inflicted on the country.

From the moment the Republic itself was declared in April 1931, power was supposed to be the Left’s forever. Any deviation, even if through the legitimate electoral process, was seen as an act of treason. It had simply taken the Conservatives five years to come to this realization. The Left was not interested in compromise or coexistence. One side was going to win.

The Right became convinced, through the Left’s own actions, that they would never follow the rule of law and that if they continued to operate within the framework of a political system engineered to guarantee their defeat, their very way of life would be extinguished.

Faced with the threat of an adversary that respected no limitations on power and which had explicitly declared its intentions to destroy everything they believed in, the Right abandoned parliamentary democracy and collectively began planning to overthrow the Republic rather than to run it through a political process that it knew the other side had no intentions of ever respecting.”

      • “Spanberger is even worse than our god awful Governor Hochul”

        -No, they’re equally bad.

“Spanberger wants locks on stored firearms”

-Read your state law. It’s illegal in NY to have ANY unlocked firearm in your home if a child under 18 is present unless you are physically in possession of it. Hochul implemented that three years ago.

    • Here is the notorious image from Helmer’s 2021 electoral opponent Howard Pyon, which received sensational coverage in Lügenpresse outlets such as the Israel Times, Jerusalem Post and the WaPo.

      https://tinyurl.com/3fsyvk8a

This image suggests nothing but economic concerns. And on that score, five years later, it has proven eerily accurate: cars, electricity, fuel and house prices have indeed gone through the roof.

No one sought to tie these mundane, pocketbook issues to Helmer’s ethnicity. But the Lügenpresse did.

      • In that image, Helmer is gleefully rubbing his hands together while gazing lustfully at stacks of gold coins. But hey, that kind of greed could apply to almost any politician.

However, since Helmer is a Jew, whoever crafted and published that image is obviously a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.

  21. I have no words. Just an overwhelming sense of despair. They’ve taken down the ancestral statues, they’re now erasing the Sons as well.
