Here’s a look at the ’21 Genesis G80 – just updated. Unlike most of its immediate rivals – models like the BMW 5 Series and Benz E Class sedans – it came standard with a big V6 rather than a small/turbocharged four.
Well, not anymore. The previously standard six is gone – replaced by a new 2.5 liter turbocharged four – in line with the oppressive trend to squeeze combustion engines entirely out of existence.
But there’s some good news. A V6 is still available and it makes more power than the V6 that used to be available. Herewith some more about all of that:
