Almost for sure, I hypothesize Trump is the “monkey on a stick”. Trump is going to be sacrificed to stop the mad rush to populism as the empire unravels. Concerning the topic of the US Dollar – political instability – financial uncertainness of the currency, here is my theory of what could happen, and it is not being discussed anywhere on the net.
The hegemon’s influence is waning, the empire’s ability to coerce other nations into using the petro dollar as the basis of world trade monopoly has been broken, or accelerated by this latest war – which forced Russia to break away from SWIFT and start it’s own system, now joined by China and Iran. At a minimum, the unipolar world of dollar dominance is gone, we live in a multipolar world, and nation states will surely join the new system if it is to their advantage and encourages trade and prosperity – especially all the nations we sanction. Sanctions are an act of war and now there is a way out, a way to get around Uncle Sam’s influence.
The big (and unknown) event of the Ukraine war, was that China took the side of Russia. China has spent billions to build the Belt and Road Initiative, these maps explain why China sided with Russia and Iran:

What this all boils down to is this, US interest rates will continue to go up – the US will be forced to defend the US Dollar and it’s Treasury bonds. Ever penny of debt is owed to someone – and the USA foolishly continues to pile on the debt, over a trillion a year now – and that is coming to an end – because the free ride is over.
The USA is exhibiting 3rd world banana republic style persecution of Trump. The USA is losing it’s world influence, certainly no nation takes us seriously when we promote globohomo fudge packing as our core value. Many nations have outlawed homosexuality – we are the immoral beacon to the world.
Debt is going up exponentially, interest on the debt is rapidly approaching a trillion a year, and the Federal Reserve is committed to fight inflation. Well, something has got to break. Banana republics are known for their hyperinflations, but in the USA, the hegemon must defend it’s currency or it will lose it’s empire.
Thus, what I think, is severe belt tightening is coming. This war has accelerated the slippage of empire, we are careening into a huge fiscal crisis we can not pawn off on the rest of the world.
