Like many who are not Communists, I voted for Trump in the hope that he might serve as a kind of finger in the dike against the advance of Communism, which got repackaged as “environmentalism” back in the early ’70s and has been long-marching through the institutions ever since that time.
I had hoped Trump understood the attack on cars by the greens who are reds via the peddling of the lie that cars and driving them was causing the globe to warm (and then the “climate” to “change” when the globe did not warm) was in fact an attack on America and the American way of life, now mostly dissipated. He seemed to understand it. During the 2024 election season, he expressed disbelief in the hoax that the “climate” is “changing” on account of Americans driving vehicles and that pushing Americans into devices was wrong on a fundamental level.
But now he is president – and he has at his side the arch grifter of the Green Grift, who made billions off the lie that the “climate” is “changing.” Who used the strong-arming power of the federal regulatory apparat to extort money from vehicle manufacturers who were faced with the choice – if you want to use that word – of either manufacturing their own “zero emissions” devices and trying to sell them or buying carbon credits from Tesla to offset their failure to manufacture devices themselves.
It seemed Trump understood the grift – and the insufferable unctuousness of many Tesla buyers, who bought devices to express their green-red beliefs.
Now many of these virtue-signalers are turning against their devices and the man who manufactured them and used the government to enrich himself via the manufacturing of them. And Trump is turning against them – and the rest of us, too.
Just yesterday, the president tweeted that “Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively (italics added) boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers and Elon’s ‘baby’ in order to attack and do harm to Elon and everything he stands for. . . I’m going to buy a brand-new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American.”
Tesla is “one of the world’s great automakers”? Is Bruce Jenner a woman?
How is it “illegal” to boycott anything? Are people – even Lunatic Leftists – no longer free to buy or not buy what they wish to buy or not buy ?
Tesla is the world’s most greatest green grift. But Tesla does not make autos. It makes devices. Devices that have been pushed onto the “market” by the federal regulatory apparat, absent which there would be little if any market for these devices. The pushing of these devices has imposed grievous harm – to the tune of many billions of dollars lost – upon the automakers, who have been presented with the “choice” to manufacture devices of their own, to comply with federal “emissions” and “fuel efficiency” regs – or stop manufacturing anything.
It is precisely because of acceptance of the lie that the “climate” is “changing” that you can hardly find an engine larger than 2.0 liters that has more than four cylinders in anything priced under $40,000.
The reason why the average cost of a new vehicle is now $50,000 has everything to do with the acceptance of the lie that the “climate” is “changing.” The reason why the average cost of car insurance has gone up by 25 percent on average over just the past year is tied to the fact that the cost of vehicles has increased dramatically, which means the cost of repairing and replacing them has increased dramatically and it is all on account of acceptance of the lie that the “climate” is “changing.”
And now Trump is defending all of it, whether he understands it or not. It is hard to decide which is the worse. If he does not understand it then he is an ignoramus and that is incandescently dangerous. In that case, he is like someone who does not comprehend radioactivity because he does not see it and decides that it’s perfectly safe to walk into the reactor room at Chernobyl, urging us to come along with him. In the other case, he is himself a dangerous grifter who understands perfectly that green is red and does not care so long as it furthers his ends.
And what are those ends, then? And what are Elon’s?
It is easy to be pleased by the firing of all those federal desk-jockeys whose “work” is a burden to working people. It is a breath of much needed fresh air to hear that men are not women and men should be barred from competing in women’s sports. But that is what makes it hard for so many to hear the other things. Such as that Tesla is “one of the world’s great automakers.” One does not want to hear that, if one voted for Trump. One wanted to hear: Tesla will have to compete with other automakers without help from the government; that the regulations that help devices at the expense of vehicles shall be repealed. And most of all, that the “climate” is not “changing.” Just the same as “masks” do not “work” except as theatrical props. And that no one ought ever to be pressured to take any drug, even if it actually is “safe and effective.”
I am hoping that Trump does not understand – and just lashed out.
But I worry that he does. And that Elon does, too.

Eric: Just yesterday, the president tweeted that “Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively (italics added) boycott Tesla.
Since when has it become illegal to boycott a business or organization? Unions have told us to boycott companies if they off shore production, etc. I read last year where the northern Jefe Truedope was ranting about people boycotting DIE companies, perhaps they should have boycotted him instead. I don’t as a rule boycott companies; I just never buy their products again.

Since about 2005, thanks to a little foreign apartheid colony that orders our legislators around like they own this place:

Israel is our misfortune.
Sh*t! I guess I’m a thought criminal too now. 🙁
PS- I guess we’ll have to go with what Sun Tzu taught then……
Which part? About there being no instance of a nation benefitting from prolonged warfare, or, sitting on the banks of the river, watching as your enemies go floating by?
We are all thought criminals now.
Eric,
Good article. I got the message from this
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/114146470008466449
I do not believe his line of thinking goes farther than “is it made in America or not?, and with that in mind, he’s probably right when it comes to being the only thing left made in the USA.
Mary Barra or CEO of any number corporations that outsource could be making a pushback against CAFE + FMVSS regs but don’t appear to be interested. From a market perspective, you think they’d be pleading for deregulation, but they are globalist scum, and they are well paid for the status quo.
1) Is Trump ignorant to the plight of the consumer, who could be buying reliable light trucks to start new small businesses?
2) Has Elon sold him on some sort of grand design, some vision of the cars of the future?— And is deregulation being ignored?
3) What is the Transportation secretary’s line of thought on CAFE/FMVSS, and have any foreign automakers suggested job investment if deregulation were to happen?
These are the kinds of questions that need to be asked in front of a large audience. The kinds of messages that need to be run up the chain.
Which is why I am begging you to get on Infowars/ The Alex Jones Show or the War Room with Owen Shroyer!
They just had a reporter Jamie White get murdered in Austin Texas, either a CIA/Ukrainian hit, or most likely by deliberate criminal negligence via the Soros DA there.
John Harmon is still the producer for them.
Calling Elon a Grifter is going to do as much good as Zelensky calling Putin a murderer from the oval office – Name calling is not going to get us anywhere – that is if you want to make a deal.
I’m proud Tesla is made in the USA, and of the work Elon has done.
-A lot more could be made to be made in the USA if CAFE were ended by the corrupt EPA.
-Cars would be more affordable if we got rid of a couple hundred rules laws by the corrupt DOT.
-Ending the EV tax credit is probably last on the list, because taxation is theft anyway, and Americans NEED a break!
-If the corrupt globalist class is bent on narrowing our freedom of transportation, Trump could fix it, but we need to have a dialogue about how we got to where we are – if we are going to do something to uphold Trump’s Executive Order and let Americans “buy the car they want to buy”. Pretty basic stuff you’d think.
Lets ask the question if Trump is serious about deregulation, and posit a way to bring LOTS of new jobs by forcing the market to react.
THATS how you frame it. Like it or not, people want to buy Teslas. They are American at least. Taking pot shots at Elon is going to move our message backwards, to which I say good article because it’s pretty neutral.
Please try try try again to get on Infowars. Maybe try Owens show just to get your foot in the door. Trumps people watch them.
Good Luck! I’d be a regular donor if you made it happen. Somebodys gotta say something for cryin out loud!
Strike while the iron is hot. We’re all doomed if it’s anti-Elon in the same breath though.
Hey I’m just pro-American made here, and deregulation would bring jobs back!
Trump went off on this car jag – lets correct him on it. We all know Trump campaigned on ending the EV mandate – a defacto mandate because of the ridiculous regulation of gas cars!
Hi Steve,
Yesterday was very disappointing. Not only did Trump show he does not understand the EV grift, he showed that all he seems to care about is slavish loyalty to him via his despicable attack on Massie.
Eric,
It’s pretty obvious he doesn’t know. So the old man is busy on WW3. It’s arguably more important.
https://rumble.com/v6qhmhq-constitutional-attorney-ivan-raiklin-on-what-he-believes-is-behind-trumps-s.html?e9s=src_v1_upp
We gotta be ready with the solutions when these things inevitably arise.
Gawd, man, are you a robot?
How much of a Tesla, % wise, is made in America?
There’s a shit-ton of things Made in America, only, not much is being done about lowering the rules, regulations, & taxes which are smothering the child in the crib that is known as, Made in America. Just, talk, talk, talk.
Anyway, RE: “1) Is Trump ignorant to the plight of the consumer, who could be buying reliable light trucks to start new small businesses?”
Where the Hell is that? “could be”? Nobody, “could be” they can’t! Light? Reliable? Affordable? Psft.
And, O-M-F-G, are Americans really this clueless?
“Start a new business with a Tesla”? …Are you for real? Psft
Ha! A frickin’ Yugo would kick it’s ass. Cost benefit-wise.
So’s, I guess, maybe, “Like it or not, people want to buy Teslas.”
Crazy people. Maybe people in warm climates with short commutes, how-freaking-evah; up here in The Northland, a battery powered vehicle seems like an expensive death trap & a good way to throw good money after bad.
And, ask a Texan with a 250 mile commute. Idk. Nuts.
You’ve totally taken that wrong. Light reliable trucks as in the 1/2 Price ICE Rangers and the like, that ford would be forced to retool for here, to compete with the Suzuki Jimmy, Ect. That would be possible if deregulation happened.
I never implied anyone start a business with a Tesla.
But in the grand scheme of things, anything driving a wedge between Trump and Elon is doomed to fail.
Hi Steve,
I’d go on Alex’s show today; all he has to do is ask!
If you get an email from Alex to be on the show, be sure & verify it’s really him so’s you don’t get scammed & hacked or something like what happened to Doug at OffGrid with Doug and Stacy:

I will, Helot!

Steve – I have been a regular donor for years. Start with 5 bucks a month. It won’t hurt.
Thanks, Swamp!
And to everyone else who pitches in and thereby saves me from having to hawk Rough Greens or some other thing…
Well, what can you expect from a TV showman and condo salesman?
If it was only on the climate scam that he is conning people, but same tricks apply to Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and of course Russia with the latest trick pulled off directly from zelensky’s ass: the 30 days “ceasefire”…
You know the trick that saved Israel from a complete defeat by Hezbollah and Hamas. And since both have stopped fighting the zionists have decided, as usual, to violate the agreements and stay in Lebanon and Gaza and keep killing babies there with Agent Orange’s blessing and 12 billion taxpayers gift for 2000lb bombs that can be used to demolish Palestine further and exterminate more babies.
The other con seems to be MAHA, although in RFK Jr’s case it could be naivety:
The “measles’ “epidemic” was a fake, totally created by the MSM. The child who they pretend died in Texas never died from measles as confirmed by his family.
Here is it:
Dr. Henry Ealy Says Texas Dept. Of Health Services Source Told Him Child Was Not Admitted For Measles And Family Has Confirmed “…The Child Did Not Die From Measles.”
https://celiafarber.substack.com/p/dr-henry-ealy-says-texas-dept-of
Much has been reported about a) a child dying of measles in Texas (‘see? it’s a deadly disease’), and b) RFK Jr’s reaction to that, apparently advocating the measles vaccine in response to the pressure .
It tells us two things:
1/ Big pharma, the deep state (whatever you want to call these criminals) and their media will invent anything to advance their goals, as seen during covid.
2/ RFK Jr. didn’t take long to submit to the pressure. Is he really the man for the job?
How is he going to succeed in his MAHA role if he gives up so easily on the first test?
Trump got trapped many times during his first tenure, swimming among cockroaches, snakes, vultures, hyenas, is not for the feint hearted.
I wish him luck, but if a man sticks to his principles, he can always be killed, removed from his post, but he can never fail.

[Dr. Henry Ealy Says Texas Dept. Of Health Services Source Told Him Child Was Not Admitted For Measles And Family Has Confirmed “…The Child Did Not Die From Measles.”]
Why all the surprise,,, lol. More fakes,,, more lies,,, more bullshit.
Yep! The good ole PCR which is not a test. As I have said before,,, they have killed millions of people, chickens, pigs and cows. And still Americans cower, frightened by the boogieman. In all likelihood all the vaccines are now the same mRNA poison used during the fake covid plandemic.
Every. Single. Time. That I see, ‘PCR’, I think of a bit I read which said, it can make a can of Coke (Coca-Cola) test positive.
…Diet Coke, too.
Idiocracy.
But PCR IS a test.
It’s a quantitative test, if you know that there is something there, it amplifies and magnifies to measure how much of that something is there.
Pierre Kory was explicitly clear that it was not and never could be a diagnostic.
Which should tell us all that the people using the PCR know there is nothing there but can scare the dumb and the dumber into panic.
If Trump didn’t pick RFK Jr, he would have picked some absolutel apologist for pharma and likely recipient of under the table money.
I am willing to give RFK plenty of time to do the job that he was hired to do. I don’t think that this can be undone in a couple of days.
Nor do I think that much in the DOT can, really, either. I have a lot more confidence in RFKJ than any one else in Trumps cabinet.
RE: “I am willing to give RFK plenty of time to do the job”
Would you define, “plenty of time”?
So like, after X number of days you’ll say, “Oh crap, I was Charlie Browned”.
Just asking for myself, should it be May 1st, or maybe Sept. 9th?
Hi helot,
I am curious. When the Missus starts spring cleaning the home do you allow her a full 24 hours or do you demand she do it in 8? You seem stuck on a timeline. Usually rushing through something results in many mistakes (e.g. firing the people guarding the nukes) or shoddy workmanship where things have to be redone and money is lost.
I much rather have a thorough evaluation of what needs to be done and that implemented to accuracy rather than rubber stamping something to get it passed and having to clean up the mess at a later date because nobody read the bill.
So, your time frame is open ended? Or, maybe, next year?
It sure does look like you’re being ‘mothered’, Charlie Brown:
‘Rep. Thomas Massie Explains the ‘Fake Fight’ Over the Continuing Resolution (CR)’
https://rumble.com/v6qi12m-rep.-thomas-massie-explains-the-fake-fight-over-the-continuing-resolution-c.html
My time frame is…however long it takes to get the damn thing right.
How am I being mothered? I am hardly waiting around for my government or The Donald to save me. That doesn’t even make sense.
Did you watch the video?
Mothering in several subjects at once.
Last year you were told, “We’ll fix this next year”.
This year, they are funding last years priorities. That’s called, a clue.
Last year, Mr. Kennedy was coming across as The Vax is bad. This year, he’s promoting the measles shot & the chicken killing continues along with rolling out the chicken shot with nary a peep in opposition.
So, you’re ok if they say it takes 10yrs and then they pinky promise they’ll fix it by then?
Hi helot,
I never said anything about ten years. For one, Trump only has until the mid term elections next year to get done what he can. So ten years isn’t even an option.
Also, the chicken killing has pretty much stopped or did you not notice that eggs have decreased by almost $2 in the last two weeks? Egg prices will stabilize around May when the hens start producing. Then you are going to have to find something else to complain about.
Also, don’t you have chickens? This isn’t even a concern for you or me. Feed hasn’t increased nor has bedding.
I wish you were this vocal when Uncle Joe and Momala were in office. I don’t believe you mentioned egg prices from July 2024 through December. They didn’t just jump 400% in the last 50 days.
This is the same RFK jr who has declared “antisemitism” (but only against JEW$ who are not even semites) to be a “disease” judaism itself is a branch of communism. How long before the mental hospitals start accepting people charged with “oppositional defiance disorder” just as what was the case in the jew-run Soviet Union?
Those publicly opposing the regime were forcibly “medicated” until they recanted or abandoned their beliefs…
JFK jr is just another jew-influenced shill.
Follow the shekels
Ok, so we’ve established a ceiling? After 10 yrs., you’ll thrown in the towel?
Seems like you’re saying you’ll be happy to pay both income taxes AND either pay higher prices for tariffed goods, or substitute other products, or go without, until …the mid term elections next year?
That sure is a long time to happily pay. Why would you be ok waiting that long?
Why such tolerance for inaction in the face of open opportunity?
Anyway, sometime after the mid term elections next year you’ll throw in the towel if you’re still paying both?
Also, what tells you the chicken killing has stopped?
Why is chicken MNRA vax research still being funded?
Did egg prices go down due to lower demand at such high prices, combined with an influx of imported eggs from Turkey?
Lastly, RE: “I wish you were this vocal when Uncle Joe and Momala were in office.”
Your wish was granted.

He also confirmed that his new Tesla vehicle will be driven by White House staff, including communications advisor Margo Martin.
“My whole staff is so excited because I told them they’re going to safely use them, and they can’t believe it,” Trump said. “Margo, she’s going to use it. They’re all going to be using it and they’re going to have a good time using it. ”

WTF.
The Greatest Grifter of All Time is….the (((USFEDGOV))).
The opportunity & fact of Elon robbing real vehicle manufacturer’s with (((carbon credits))) is only due to the (((USFEDGOV)))’s interference in the free market’s.
Now, the Trumpster, with Elon & the creation of DOGE, is simply another WCW type sideshow, meant to distract us all from the looming economic disaster heading our way.

‘Can you imagine Canada stooping so low as to use ELECTRICITY, that so affects the life of innocent people, as a bargaining chip and threat?” — Donald J Trump
Typical a-hole Americlown: he casually kicks others to the curb … then gets all shocked and hurt and offended when they dare to punch back.
Trump said this the day after Israel shut off ELECTRICITY to Gaza, stopping the desalination plant that provides its water supply.
Did Trump call Netanyahu to stop this war crime against civilians? Why no … no, he did not. In fact he just sent Israel another $3 billion worth of lethal weapons to escalate the genocide.

Is Elon Musk secretly trying to replace humans in the government with AI?
https://www.technocracy.news/doges-plans-to-replace-humans-with-ai-are-already-under-way/
So, if you bother to read any of Trump’s books, you’ll see that he quite clearly states that he had a “Kabbalah teacher”, which is to say Trump is QUITE JEWISH.
By matter of fact, Judaism is the wellspring from which communism flows. Shall I provide a few quotes from prominent Jews to illustrate this fact? Why, sure, I think I will…
“First of all, we have to understand what communism is. I mean, to me, real communism, the Soviet communism, is basically a mask for Bolshevism, which is a mask for Judaism.” –Bobby Fischer, Jewish chess champion.
“The Communist soul is the soul of Judaism. Hence it follows that, just as in the Russian revolution the triumph of Communism was the triumph of Judaism, so also in the triumph of fascism will triumph Judaism.” — (A Program for the Jews and Humanity, Rabbi Harry Waton, p. 143-144).
So, let’s be very clear. “Voting” (lol) for “Trump” as a means to “thwart communism” is quite the fool’s errand, and is some seriously ignorant bs.
Surprise!! Lord Trumpo is a politician. He has never been good at business. His only saving grace is talking the talk and he does that exceedingly well. Elon is not much of a politician but one hell of a scammer. Marriage made in heaven.
Not one person on the (s)election ticket was even close to being America first. Rama Rama Ding Dong was a close second to the talk the talk king now occupying the crown but he just didn’t have the look of old school Merica. In fact he wanted/wants to bring in all his home field scammer buddies using H1B visas since he claims American STEM folks are way below par. He may be right. America hasn’t been able to do much now that all the Nazi Germans brought over after the war are retired or dead. 300 million Mericans with 50 million illegals and we can’t field one decent leader 🙁
I’ve been overall pleased with Trump 2.0. He’s essentially done away with affirmative action, DEI and “trans” nonsense, and seems to have restored some sense of normalcy. He appears to be trying to de-couple these United States from Europe and to cause peace in Ukraine (at least I think). He also appears to be exposing a large part of the grift of USAID, et al, and dismantling the same. A lot of other good things have come as well. Only time will tell if government and overall grift is lessened.
With that said, I’ve had to purposefully ignore certain of his tendencies such as Zionism, Musk worship and rule solely by executive order. Part of me thinks that in order to achieve his goal of “draining the swamp” he knows has to go along with certain powerful interest so as not to create unnecessary enemies (you’ve got to pick your battles sometimes). I truly hope this is the case, but again, time will tell. Certainly nobody is perfect, but what has recently happened to the federal government appears to be pretty impressive and unprecedented in our lifetimes. I’m willing to give his some latitude. After all, it’s been less than 2 months since inauguration.
It appears that Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day cease fire. Hopefully, this will endure permanently. https://redstate.com/wardclark/2025/03/11/ukraine-agrees-to-30-day-cease-fire-if-russia-concurs-n2186535
Well, unfortunately, mr. Liberty, regarding a (((ceasefire))), I can tell ya one thing…
You can shit in one hand, and hope in the other…
And I can tell you which one will fill up first!!!
RE: “I’ve been overall pleased with Trump 2.0. […] Only time will tell if government and overall grift is lessened.”
To the second part, Yup. Maybe so.
Do you suppose, if the opposite has happened, that a sort of Pandora’s Box has been opened, do you think you’ll be quick enough to realize it, and can anything be done by then?

“This two-part series examines the genuine but misplaced hopes of the millions of US citizens who elected Donald Trump to his second non-consecutive term. Unbeknownst to them, they have voted to live in a Technate administered by what is called “gov-corp.” In so doing, they have taken another step toward a multipolar world order, or “New World Order,” as some have long called it.”…
https://unlimitedhangout.com/2025/03/investigative-series/the-dark-maga-gov-corp-technate-part-1/
Hi helot,
An honest question to you. Hasn’t the US been a technocratic government for 40 years or more already? When was the last time that the “representatives” actually embodied the will of their constituents? I think we can all agree that the US is under the guise of corporatism and not a republic, agreed? So if technocracy has been alive and well in this country for at least a generation, if not longer, why is the author running off of fear?
Here is where I disagree with the writer. One, I acknowledge it is already here and they have all of the information that they need. Two, I think even the technocrats are disappointed in what they see…meaning the “representatives” are even dumber than they even imagined. Three, they are regretting their decision.
Q: “Hasn’t the US been a technocratic government for 40 years or more already?”
A: No.
Really? Then what has it been? Because it is sure as hell not a republic.
If it were fully a Technocratic government you would still be under lockdown & your body would be full of The Shot. There would be no escape.
The controllers know about the “pendulum effect”. You can only push things so far, then they have to rebound slightly. This is part of Trump’s purpose, btw…it’s time for the pendulum to swing the other way for a bit, then the next swing to the “left” will be one more step (and a bold one, I’m sure) towards the “technocratic government”, which I suppose would be most properly called a technocratic oligarchy.
I agree that Tesla only exists at the behest and decree of government. In better days of the past, Tesla would sell their products without monitory subsidy from others. Imagine a car industry of the 90’s to mid 2000’s where cars were affordable and reliable selling against Tesla as a rich man’s toy. Maybe Tesla would sell enough to be competitive at the high end but it’s stock price would reflect the reality of the market not the decree of the government.
In a cautionary moment in Elon’s defense, Tesla sells almost exclusively to wealthy liberals. Few if any conservatives (maybe RINO’s buy) buy Tesla vehicles or Tesla stock. Elon knows this but he (so far) is not quitting DOGE. Keeping in mind Elon is shrewd and, for the moment, is risking his company (albeit supported by government grift) for this cause. Elon has stated that a broke USA will send the world into chaos which is his motivation in doing DOGE, and worth making this stand. If he is truly honest, and we shall see in the next year, then maybe, just maybe, he is a great American. If Elon quits, gets sideways with Trump over nothing, uses this position to get more grift, then he is an opportunist we got sold on by the Orangeman.
If Elon rescues the astronauts stranded on the space station that would be a good start. It appears NASA and Boeing are still suffering from DIE. (And what a despicable human Brandon was for leaving them there in order *not* to engage Elon during the campaign).
In the meantime, I will watch with a jaundice eye what Elon does.
Well said, Hans.
Yup, Tipping point has tipped. Many new Prius parked in former Tesla spots here in libtard twin temples Oregon. Only diehard virtue signallers double down on griftopilot eveeeees. I actually spotted a man in one last week. Very strange.
Hi Rain,
I have to say I am enjoying the schadenfreude of all the Lib-tards, who loved and adored Elon and his electric device, who bought his stock no matter what price, are now rolling in the dirt in full hatred of this guy. Now they are dumping their devices and selling their stock all out of spite.
“ Keeping in mind Elon is shrewd and, for the moment, is risking his company. “
Personally I suspect Elon is stealing a play out of Henry Ford’s playbook when in 1919, Henry resigned and put Edsel in charge as a means to force minority shareholder values down and out of the business. By year end, the Ford family was sole owner of Ford Motor Company.
They are politicians, AKA consummate professional liars. Whether Trump, Musk, or Bernie Sanders, expect no truth from any of them.
Communism is a bird of prey–a vulture as some have described it–and like all birds, it has a left and a right wing. Trump represents communism’s right wing, and he’s showing his colors (namely red) on a daily basis. Remember when Biden referenced the economy’s “wonderful transition” under his totalitarian rule? Well trump just used that same term yesterday in describing the economy, saying, “There is a period of transition because what we’re doing is very big.” The “transition” referred to is replacing human bureaucracy with AI governance, which will constitute the biggest spying mechanism the world has ever seen, thereby making the communists’ job much easier.
As for Elon, the media are now showing him in the role of “victim” (of protests and boycotts) while reminding you how much money he’s losing from Tesla’s stock crash. They’re trying to get everyone on board with him being in government because too many Trump supporters don’t trust him, and they need everyone to support what he and Trump are doing. And for those of you who still think Elon is some kind of hero, check out this video:

Jason, perhaps consider the two wings as an old distraction, rather see the head of the new bird?:
“To say Technocracy is radical would be a massive understatement. We think in terms of political “isms,” but words like “communism,” “fascism “or “feudalism” don’t come close to describing the extent of the radical tyranny intrinsic to Technocracy.”…

His little boys will worship him as a hero. Then they will turn 9 years old.
Trump will buy the only Tesla sold today. Musk should just donate one to Donnie. Come on, Musk, be a friend forever.
Trump will not be driving a Tesla, no way.
Tesla shares reached a price of 436 USD on Jan. 15, 2025, $225 today.
Musk is looking like a loser these days.
“Musk is looking like a loser these days”
He’s probably crying all the way to the bank. He has more money and women than he knows what to do with.
Yeah, he’s allegedly been reduced to only a 300 billion dollar net worth. Total loser. Which he got by ripping off deluded green suckers. How in-American.
Un-frickin-believable:
@realDonaldTrump
‘Congressman Thomas Massie … SHOULD BE PRIMARIED, and I will lead the charge against him.’
https://tinyurl.com/txhd7dpa
Understand what’s going on here: the foreign Israel lobby already decided to primary Massie, with what they call an ‘unlimited budget.’
Lickspittle Trump is just following orders from these hostile, anti-American election subverters, wielding their dirty foreign money.
As Wyatt Peterson writes in an essay today at unz dot com,
‘Many Americans imagine Donald Trump to be some kind of a Superhero engaged in a valiant struggle to save America and the Western world from a nameless, faceless globalist cabal.
‘In reality, Trump is a belligerent oaf who seems hell-bent on driving the final nail into America’s coffin by being a dutiful Step-and-Fetch-It for Netanyahu and the state of Israel.’
Israel is our misfortune.
This is stupid of Trump, seriously, really stupid. Israel can pour all the money they want into Kentucky, Massie will still win.
Massie is the best Congressman they have. He’s an off-grid homesteader, engineer and a steadfast defender of liberty. He’s the real McCoy, not Musk. Orange Man, not having any true principles, could learn much from him, but we can forget that if the Israel lobby is out for his scalp.
Massie is not a, “Yes Man”. Can’t have that in a Technocracy. That’s why you’re not hearing from the likes of a joel salatin.
“Here’s my newest wish for policy: let the owners of the poultry determine their treatment. Right now, government agents with guns can come onto any farm, without a warrant, and kill all your chickens. We’re back to mandated covid jabs. Same play book. Same boat crossing the same river. What if I have a chicken that tests positive for bird flu? What if I say “no, don’t kill the survivors. Let it run its course; I’ll absorb the cost and risk of how many it gets, thank you very much. Nobody has to pay me for anything. Now leave.””…

The only thing I disagree with Joel is why did he allow them to prick his finger. Everything else…excellent.
On a double-take on your comment, I quite agree, Why The Heck did he allow them to prick his finger?
I sure wouldn’t have.
…Seems like there was something I was going to add, hoping to change the world, but I must’ve deleted it.

“Killing survivors, which is the current USDA policy, is certifiably insane.”
Doubtless. A tiny bit of natural selection takes place during any such challenge, and the survivors pass on that bit of resilience, whatever form it might take. Otherwise any selection that takes place is artificial, and simply reflects insulation from government agents.
Exactly, “the survivors pass on that bit of resilience, whatever form it might take” …and, our Overlords, wish to extinguish that. Big tell.

I totally agree.

His comments about Massie are very disappointing indeed. He said the same thing when Massie opposed the absolutely disastrous CARES Act, which is what fuel inflation and exploding prices over the past 5 years.
Mister Liberty says, “His comments about Massie are very disappointing indeed.”
Mister Liberty says, “I’ve been overall pleased with Trump 2.0.”
I guess the keyword is, overall? …Lookin’ kinda wishy-washy there, Mr. Liberty.
Six months, or September?
Hmmm. My cognitive dissonance seems to be showing, perhaps. I guess for the sake of what appears to be a reduction of destructive federal government programs and departments I’m holding my nose on other things.
Massie is the only Congressman not owned by AIPAC and Satanyahoo can’t allow that. I wish he was my congressman; hopefully trying to “primary” him will just waste a lot of his opposition’s cash.
RE: “hopefully trying to “primary” him will just waste a lot of his opposition’s cash.”
What a waste! Psft. All that money & effort, so many better ways it could be applied.
Very telling of the man. …Very.
Ron Paul eschews the posturing and pretending:
‘The main reason to oppose tariffs is that tariffs, like all taxes (including the inflation tax), are theft.’
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2025/03/ron-paul/tariffs-are-theft/
READ MY LIPS: NO NEW TARIFFS.
EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD IMPOSES TARIFFS ON AMERICAN PRODUCTS.
Ron Paul is wrong on this one…
I have to agree with you, anarchyst.
Doctor Paul writes, “Consumers then must choose whether to pay the higher price, find a cheaper alternative, or do without the product.”
The consumer has a choice. Theft does not allow choices. When Uncle Sam taxes my salary 6.2% on Social Security, 1.45% on Medicare, and then another percentage on federal income tax (depending how big my paycheck is that week) that is theft.
Under tariffs we have choices. If I want Cristel (France) cookware I pay the tariff. If I don’t want to pay the tariff I purchase Nordic Ware (Minnesota). If I feel that both prices are too expensive I wait for Nordic Wares 50% off end of season sale and buy then. France loses my money and Minnesota gains it.
It is going to be a bumpy ride, but the US is holding the winning hand. We spend more on imports than any country in the world. I wish the world luck on trying to replace their biggest customer.
Seems you’re focusing on, ‘the seen’. Nordic Ware is made of metal. The supply of raw materials & replacement parts to repair the factors of producing Nordic Ware are likely imported. The increase in cost of Nordic Ware is yet to materialize, the buffer is built up inventory.
“In his famous essay That Which Is Seen, and What Is Not Seen, Bastiat argued that economic decisions produce both immediate, visible effects (what is seen) and hidden, long-term effects (what is unseen). Policymakers often focus on the seen—the direct benefits of a policy—without accounting for the cascading, often negative, effects that remain hidden until it’s too late.” …
https://mises.org/mises-wire/hidden-cost-tariffs-lesson-bastiats-seen-and-unseen
Also, team Red controls the big house & both chambers of rubber stampers, yet nary a peep about eliminating income taxes. It could be done in one day, Charlie Brown.
Crickets.
“Nordic Ware is one of the few remaining American cookware companies that produce their products almost entirely in the United States[5] and also offers their products in 50 countries.”
The reason I really like Nordic Ware is that they actually tell you what parts of their bakeware/cookware are not US manufactured (e.g. the handles on the frying pans do come from Taiwan and China and a few of their microwavable plastics may be imported). The aluminum is made here in the US.
Not everyone is gung ho on cheap crap. Price is not the only determining factor.
As for income taxes they will reduce them. I am not willing to throw up my hands and declare it a failure after a measly eight weeks. I can’t lose 10 pounds in that amount of time, but apparently, Trump should have had everything fixed on Day 1.
Hi RG,
I’m curious what you think about Trump threatening (and name-calling) Massie. I see the latter as one of the few honorable men left in Washington. And I think Trump’s attack on him is despicable.
Hi Eric,
I replied to Jim this morning when he first posted it that I thought it was a truly stupid thing for Trump to do: 1) It destroys any type of camaraderie with Libertarians who were willing to give Trump a chance when he pardoned the J6ers, Ulbricht, and looked like he was taking a sledgehammer to certain departments of the federal government, and 2) It makes Trump look petty with an inability to work with people who he could find common ground with.
I am in agreement with you. Massie is the last few principled men left. Trump needed all of the support he could get. All this proves is that his skin is still thin. I was hoping he had grown up in four years, but it doesn’t appear that way.
Massie “outed” every congresscritter who has an AIPAC “handler”. THAT is worth the price of admission.
The JEW$ openly tried to destroy Massie’s recent reelection campaign but failed miserably.
As far as I am concerned, EVERY congresscritter who has an AIPAC handler is a traitor to the USA.
Who need to be hanged, because taking money from AIPAC then voting to favor another state is treason. The penalty for treason is death. Hang ’em high, hang them all right down Pennsylvania Avenue on the light poles.
O yeah, I shoulda double checked, made from aluminum. According to every official expert that stuff is great to use as cookware. … I digress.
I dunno, seems like you glossed over the imported repair parts to make it. Or, the other inputs in the chain to make,… a pencil.
A powerful consideration, really:
‘I, Pencil’

Also, RE: “As for income taxes they will reduce them.”
Shall we hold our breath ’til then?
You say, “apparently, Trump should have had everything fixed on Day 1.”
…Um, they hold ALL the levers of power, they control The Rubber Stamp. …What’s stopping them? …A great day of golf? …’er, week of? …oh, wait, month of? …Mmm, make that, months of golf?
How long will it be before you say, “Ok, they’re not gonna git rid of income taxes AND they are gonna tariff tax us, too”?
By the first day of Spring, or maybe the first day of Summer? Or, September?
How long are you gonna let them ‘Mother’ ya?
Agreed. They wouldn’t have been in the constitution othewise.
It’s curious why Trump tweeted that he’s buying a Tesla. Is he trying to get his supporters to buy one to help Elon Musk? Is he now pushing Teslas in the same way he pushed those “Beautiful COVID vaccines”? I don’t know, but as someone who’s learned what EVs REALLY are from reading this site over the years, I’m dead set against getting an EV, whether it’s a Tesla, Ford, GM, or some other company.
As stated in your post yesterday Eric, it’s also curious the way attitudes flipped re Elon Musk over the past few years. Liberals who once LOVED Elon Musk now HATE him, while many conservatives who once HATED him now LOVE him. As a long time conservative myself, from what I’ve read about Elon Musk elsewhere, I neither loved nor hated Musk, but I have been suspicious of Musk in that he’s advocated some of the wet dreams of technocracy over the years, such as carbon taxes and implanting chips into people’s brains. Based on that alone, plus Musk being with DOGE, I’m concerned that Musk will push some form of technocracy in the Trump 2.0 administration, and people who call themselves “conservatives” will cheer in the same way liberals cheered the Biden Thing pushing COVID vaxx mandates & a nonsensical proxy war against Russia.
Hi John,
All of your concerns are valid. I think we need to be cautious and even somewhat suspect of what Musk is doing. I think Reagan said it best “trust but verify”.
I am not willing to throw him overboard yet though. A chainsaw needed to be taken to government and I don’t see anyone else other than Trump and Musk taking the risk. Would DeSantis have done it? Haley? Harris?
Hi RG,
Yes, the federal government needs to be radically cut down to size. Will DOGE look at the Federal Reserve, the Pentagon, and corrupt public health bureaucracies that have been wasting money for years? We shall see, but if one thing has become clear just over the past 5 years, it’s that people should pay attention to what any government (be it local, state, or federal) is doing regardless of who’s in charge.
Congress must be investigated for the sources of income for congresscritters. While they enter congress as paupers, every single one exists as millionaires.
Why is the unanimously hated and absolutely worthless TSA still gropin’ away every day?
Cuz DOGE is BULLSHIT.
I’m with you RG. I hate to see the idea of perfection to be the enemy of the good. That said, we all need to call the bad stuff out when it happens.
Musk didn’t get where he is by being an outsider.
How he established the reputation of some sort of iconoclast should be baffling to anyone with critical thinking skills.
This clown is Deep State all the way, right down to his spy/data mining operations with the 4 wheel devices, Twatter/X and now virtually unlimited access to Fed databases.
And now this Tesla stock garbage (with a portfolio of mostly imaginary products that when the do exist, they spy, explode and rain debris on the Atlantic coast, ignite and burn your house to the ground or platforms glitch and get blamed on “IT CAME FROM U-KRAINE!”) that has now become embedded into the economy like a tick.
This bozo and his act need to go to Mars and stay there.
Hi Flip,
Yup. I a beginning to feel a lot like I felt during the early months of “COVID.” That is to say, I feel as though I am alone among a sea of bedazzled dupes.
Is that what I’m sensing as well? A (planned) economic “emergency?”
Incoming price controls/capital controls and/or other economic draconian measures?
*with exceptions for the well connected….as always.
Hi Flip,
Yup. And this time, it will be the right that cheers it. Just as the left was cheering the “COVID” kabuki.
Virtually everybody cheered on the “Covid” kabuki at first (other than you and small group of commenters on this site). It was only after many months and the selection of Biden that the “right” finally came around to oppose it. Desantis was pretty helpful as well early on (although he recently stepped in it with the Tate bros. -likely because of Zionism and AIPAC).
DeSantis is still in the zionist jewish camp.
Florida “law” mandates the brainwashing of vulnerable schoolchildren by requiring them to visit jewish freak shows, known as holocaustianity™ museums.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Or at least worthy of supporting when he is worthy of that support.
Trump is a wrecking ball, a spiked flail mace, and he’s swinging furiously in berserker fashion at the big monolithic communist government we all have been forced to live under.
So if he sharpens the blade of the tool that is Elon Musk, then I applaud it. Nothing is going to change the fact that Elon’s green commie customers now hate him, and that the actions team Trump are taking are unpleasantly painful in the short term, in the longer term they are overdue.
I agree with you, Ernie –
But, at the same time, I will not deny the evidence of my lying eyes. Trump’s fellating of Musk – of Tesla – is disgusting.
Yes. I can’t stand the sight of either. Over the last few weeks, I have felt the need to withdraw completely from everything. On the occasoin I poke my head out, I can even see liberals making some of the same arguments that we make regarding range and practicality of electric cars. smdh
Withdrawing is probably sensible, and now that you mention it I realize I’ve been doing the same. When the bullets are flying you should keep your head down.
But look, billions of dollars taken away from people and agencies working against freedom and decency, and THREE percent of the bloated feral workforce is not at all trivial. Actual movement on ending the Russia/clown world proxy war in Ukraine, after 10 years of poking the bear and asking to get mauled.
Remember, Trump II the sequel only hit theaters about 7 weeks ago. I am loving the show, and am looking forward to many more twists and turns.
‘Trump’s fellating of Netanyahu – of Israel – is disgusting.’ — eric, remixed
JR vs OM fr da load
Hi Eric,
I am concerned that you suffer from EDS (Elon Derangement Syndrome). 😉 I am not a proponent of Presidents (hence Administrations) pushing private industry. IMO there should a line in the sand, very much like should be between The State and religion, so I do believe what Trump is doing is in poor taste and is a conflict of interest.
At the same time the “grifter” had the best selling car in the world in 2024. We can argue the pushing of EV mandates, unfair playing field, carbon credits, etc., but he did have the #1 selling car. That is just a fact.
Trump buying a Tesla will not change anyone’s minds. The Left is mad at him (Elon) and the Right believes climate change is a bunch of baloney. Unfortunately, our country is ruled by corporatoracy. It happened before Musk, it will happen after Musk. Campaign donations rule the roost and those that “donate” to the cause get to determine what the cause is. Trump has been purchased by Elon. Elon will let Trump know what causes should be backed. This what happens when billionaires own millionaires.
We can all blame the Supreme Court and their determination on Citizens United.
Hi RG,
I don’t see how it’s deranged to point out facts! And to call Trump out when he’s wrong on the facts. Yes, Tesla sells a lot of devices. But how many would it have sold without the subsidies? How many could it ever have manufactured without the financial support of “carbon credits”? Tesla is a kind of state-sponsored entity, like Zil or Trabant in the old Soviet Union. There were also a lot of Trabant sales in the old Soviet Union.
But the fundamental issue here is Trump’s implicit and explicit endorsement of the “climate change” scam, without which Tesla would never have been more than a bit player, manufacturing a small number of devices for the very small number of people willing to pay full cost for a device.
It’s very troubling to me that Trump does not see this. Or cannot see past his loyalty to Musk.
Remember, also, that Musk has never repudiated his support for carbon taxes.
Then let’s be fair, Eric. Call out all corporations that government has supported…Boeing, GM, Google, Halliburton, Pfizer, GE, and Lockheed Martin. Would any of them be in business without taxpayer dollars?
Government has always picked winners and losers. I am not agreeing with what Trump is doing, but Musk is the rule not the exception.
Moderna.
Jabs are the only product they have generating revenue.
Hi RG,
Again, airplanes and jet engine are legitimate products that would exist absent government because there is real market demand for these things.
The jabs – Pfizer, et al – are of a piece with Tesla in that these would not be billion dollar schemes absent government.
Hi Eric,
Except GE and Boeing are barely breathing. Without government support both would have been bankrupt by now. I had the misfortune of owning GE stock and you couldn’t pay me enough to get on an airplane with a Boeing engine at this time.
Indeed, RG –
But I think the fundamental point stands: Airplanes and jet engines and F150s are things of value that people want and will freely purchase. EVs are creations of government. And – worse – they are undermining legitimate products (vehicles).
How about defense contractors? Or GM? Or AIG? Would any of them be standing without taxpayer funds?
Maybe, maybe not. They might not be standing because of the strangulating effect of government regulation. If you look at Europe, many of their industries are subsidized, like Airbus. Of course, the car industry gets nothing out of it.
The US has been in the regulation game for about 60 years. The Europeans only started that in earnest after the EU formed in 1993. They have caught up well as their car industry is on its way to ruin.
I agree with you re “defense.” I say that the only defense this country needs is two or maybe three Ohio Class nuclear missile submarines, each of which carries enough “defense” to lay waste to most of the Earth. The rest is all boodle.
Seriously. 90 percent of the “defense” budget could be eliminated and there would be no risk to the “homeland.”
Exactly this, and yet the budget just passed to avoid a government shutdown contains even MORE money for “defense”. Absolutely disgusting.
RE: “even MORE money”.
The Not-so-Funny thing is, even here at EPA, somebodies think spending isn’t increasing & therefore adding More Dollars chasing & bidding up the price of everything.
Without government support many/some entities would not be alive today. Back in the 1970’s government supported Honeywell mainframe computers over IBM computers in one instance that I know of. There were a few reasons why they did that, one being that IBM was getting too big and would monopolize the industry and dictate costs.
The collective government is very powerful and can decide life or death, just look what happened about 160 years ago. Look what happened to Saddam. The lifeform that is called the government is growing and becoming more and more powerful. Who controls the government? Show me the money and I’ll show you the power.
Who considers RTX a “winner” in any way shape or form is sociopathic at best.
Ask yourself this…would you have a problem if Trump said he was going to go buy a Ford F150 and Farley took the place of what Musk is doing? I don’t see where Trump is stating climate change exists. He is protecting his backer. I disagree with this, but that is another argument.
Hi RG,
No, of course not. Because the F150 is a vehicle that sells on its merit without government pushing. The F150 does not need subsidies. And Ford did not extort money from Tesla to finance the manufacturing of the F150, either.
Farley. It is fitting that Ford is currently run by the cousin of “Tommy Boy”.
You can get a good look at Bankruptcy by sticking your head up an EV’s tailpipe, but wouldn’t you rather take the accountant’s word for it?
Only in an advanced idiocracy could that take place. 30 years ago, no one would have conceived of that idea.
Go back and watch “Tommy Boy”. Ignore Farley and pay attention to everything that comes out of Dan Aykroyd’s mouth.
I would like Musk a lot better if he would build the kind of cars that many of us on this page would like. Simple, non emission controlled, non saaaafety vehicles with no tracking and monitoring on board. That’s Musks only potentially redeeming quality.
It would be a smart career move, swamp. Simple and efficient diesel vehicles would sell like hot cakes in this country.
Just imagine how that would drive the left crazy!
Sign me up for a diesel Miata and a diesel camper van with no ‘safety ‘features”.
Or if they would regenerate the Audi Q7s or even the old Volvos. I agree with you no safety features or stupid looking IPAD mounts. And absolutely no Wi-Fi.
They can build them all they want. Like Eric has been pointing out (in vain it appears) they cannot sell them in the US. Once again,,, misdirection! Government is the problem but we go after the businesses. Try to keep your eyes on the ball folks.
Sage advice, ken.
Big beautiful snob trinkets.
