I’m not a psychiatrist but based on what I have read, pathological lying (without remorse) is a characteristic of antisocial personality disorder and a symptom of sociopathy/psychopathy. Take your example of the “experts” that had told us that a round passing nearby would do more damage. In 2025, Thomas Massie reintroduced Ron Paul’s 2007 bill that would repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990, the law that technically makes the majority of American gun owners federal felons.
The GFSZA prohibits possessing a firearm within 1000 feet of any school (a School Zone), with few exceptions, among them
1) The firearm is unloaded and in a locked container or a locked firearms rack that is on a motor vehicle;
2) The individual possessing the firearm is licensed to do so by the State in which the school zone is located, and the law of the State requires that, before an individual obtains such a license, the law enforcement authorities of the State verify that the individual is qualified under law to receive the license.
The second exception does not appear to exempt citizens in so-called Constitutional Carry states who carry a firearm without obtaining a license by the state.
Also, there is no exception for state-to-state reciprocity because the license must be issued by the state in which the school zone is located. For example, Arizona requires no permit to carry, but without a permit you cannot legally carry a gun within 1000 feet of any school. And even if you have an Arizona permit, and that permit is recognized in 37 other states, you cannot legally carry a gun in a School Zone in any of those other states.

Maybe. I know of only 4 times he has commented on red flag laws. Twice he said he was in favor of red flag laws in his first term, but put the onus on the states to do it. Twice since then, while running for re-election, and said flat out that he was wrong to have championed them in the past. Once was speaking to the NRA, though, so maybe you have to take that with a grain of salt.

I’m almost certain all of this was well understood by the War College. Trump was just conflicted. He’s anti-war, but even more anti-nuclear war. That was why he was crowing about “decimating” their nuclear program a year ago, and stopped the aggression then. This time around, he needs to know they haven’t just moved their “uranium dust” somewhere before he declares victory and leaves. You know, like they did last time. And if you trust their own statements, they have already accomplished this time, too.
The one thing I think the War College did not think through is the possibility that the President would be too anti-war to follow through with the plan once started. Trump idiotically fell for it every time the Iranians yanked his chain about negotiations.

Amigo, I don’t give a runny s#!t about Israel. Were it up to me we’d start deporting jews and pajeets as aggressively as any other group. Because they’re all existential threats to American culture and liberty. They are all smug, arrogant bastards who are intent on conquering and colonizing the world.
