An Eye Opening Event

If we’re lucky, we begin to understand – even if incompletely. We will not – we cannot – know everything. Not in this life. But we may come to understand that not everything is as it seems. Or – rather – what we may have thought it was.

Nahhhhnnnnlevven was one such thing – and many of us came to understand in the wake of that thing that the “enemies of freedom” were real and that we elected them. “COVID” was another. A few of us understood almost right away what was going on and that it had as much to do with “stopping the spread” as the TSA has to do with preventing jihadis from flying airplanes into buildings. Because everyone knows jihadis can’t afford to charter an airplane (and thereby avoid the TSA since gate rape only applies to the cattle who fly commercial).

There was another thing. It happened 32 years ago – tempus fugit! – this April. In Texas, where a group of religious weirdos who weren’t harming anyone were immolated in their compound by federal thugs sicced on them by Bill Clinton’s attorney general Janet Reno. Her troops did a fine imitation of the troops under the command of SS-Obergruppenfuhrer Jurgen Stroop who raised the Warsaw ghetto to the ground on the orders of his Fuhrer just before the advancing Soviet armies entered the Polish capital in the wake of the retreating Wehrmacht.

I watched – live, on TV – the Branch Davidian compound go up in flames – along with the cult’s leader, David Koresh and a large number of women and children. Not one of these people – including Koresh – had even been alleged by the government that burned them to death to have harmed anyone. They were guilty of being weirdos, though. And – the real crime – noncompliant weirdos. They sought to be left alone and retreated into their compound when the government refused to leave them alone.

The government always makes an object lesson of such people – but it takes awhile to understand that for most people. Centuries, sometimes. Almost from the moment of this country’s founding, people who just wanted to be left alone have been taught the error of their ways, from the so-called Whiskey Rebellion – which was rural farmers wanting to be left alone to barter among themselves rather than pay taxes to the government – to Waco and beyond.

I was a young editorial writer at The Washington Times 32 years ago this April. I sat in the conference room with other staffers and watched the government assault the weirdos with tanks and troops and then with fire when the weirdos had the effrontery to resist the attack. It was on that day – in that room – that I had an epiphany. A realization. An understanding that the federal government – that government in general – is always the same thing, wherever it happens to be.

It may seem to be something other than it is at first. No doubt the Americans who lined the streets to cheer George Washington as he traveled to his inauguration as the first president of the United States thought they were witnessing the birth of something different. They weren’t. Daniel Shays – a veteran of the war for independence (from one iteration of government) understood that soon enough. As did those rural Pennsylvania farmers.

As did I, 32 years ago this April.

It was a rude birth, cold and unpleasant. But it is better to exit the warmth of that cozy womb to know – and understand – the world as it is, outside that womb. It helped me to understand the events to come – including Nahhhhhhhhhnnnlevven and then “COVID.”

It will help understand what’s to come, too.

  1. I was in high school then, but I remember that Waco incident very well. I could never figure out what it was really about at the time, but now what you say, Eric, makes sense.

    • RE: “I remember that Waco incident very well. I could never figure out what it was really about at the time”.

You, are not alone. Your inability to see through, ‘the fog’, was … due to our overlords controlling everything. ‘They’ didn’t want you to know. Not, anyone.

“There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image; make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great [or, evil?] adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to the outer limits.”

Yah, some older fellas wanted to go down there & came ‘this close’ to doing, ‘something’ to stand between the mighty UnitedState children barbecue’ers & their intended dish. It was a Hot time to be alive.

Since then, the children barbecue’ers have found other lands to sear the flesh.

It seems, Americans Love barbecued human flesh. ? ‘Most’, Americans, anyway.

..Much of the world has gone mad.

  2. Fake anti-pope Francis is dead, no less on Easter Monday. What does it mean and who is the last pope, inquiring minds want to know!

The “Prophecy of the Popes,” attributed to Saint Malachy, was first published in 1595, it lists the final 112 popes to come. All have been fulfilled except the final one. Francis was a fake pope, not cannonized, and anti-popes do not count.

Malachy wrote the following prophecy about the 112th Pope.

“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.”

    —————-

Wiki – “Many analyses of the prophecy note that it is open to the interpretation that additional popes would come between the “glory of the olive” and Peter the Roman.[5][18]”

    111. Glory of the olive Benedict XVI (2005–2013)

    112. ??? Not anti-pope Francis, but could be Pietro Parolin

    —————-

    The Final Pope indentified:

The Vatican’s current Secretary of State, commonly known as the Cardinal Secretary of State, is Pietro Parolin, shown in the photo above with President Obama. Parolin seems to be a better fit for the title of Peter the Roman than Pope Francis for several reasons.

First, his real name is Pietro, which is Italian for Petrus (Latin) or Peter (English). I was unable to find the definition of Parolin.
Second, unlike Pope Francis, who is a native of Argentina, Parolin is a native of Italy, which makes him a better fit to be called Peter the Roman.
Third, Parolin is currently 62 years old, 18 years younger than Pope Francis which makes him more likely to live long enough to fulfill St. Malachy’s prophecy of being in office during the destruction of Rome. At age 80, it seems like a stretch for Pope Francis to live long enough to fulfill the prophecies.
    ———————–

    Saint Malachy prophecy

Tom Horn, author of Petrus Romanus, said this in 2017:

“I believe Pope Francis was not canonically elected. I believe some hanky-panky went on in the conclave. In fact, I think that has something to do with why he picked St. Francis of Assisi as his namesake. His real name is Bergoglio, as you know, because Francis of Assisi prophesied about the final Pope and he said he will not be canonically elected. Now that means that he’s a placeholder for reasons that we can’t quite figure out, but I believe he’s either going to be removed from office or he’s going to step down like Benedict did, soon. And the guy that comes up to take his place is actually going to be the real Pope 112 by election, Petrus Romanus.

    —————–

Why this matters, it prophecizes the end of the Catholic Church and the destruction of Rome. Certainly this is coming because in the last several decades the entire Bible has been determined to be fraudulent. Ceasar’s Messiah by Joseph Atwill was the final nail in the coffin for Christianity, Atwill proves that Roman court wrote the entire tale about Jesus, Jesus never existed, that Titus war in Judea from 68-70 AD are encoded 3 year ministry of Jesus.

The entire world fooled for nearly 2,000 years. The Pope is just an old man in some funny clothes in clown world.

    • Significance of Pope Francis death on Easter Monday explained:

“Pope Francis is the 266th pope in official Vatican records, but in the St. Malachy prophecy, he is the 112th pope since the prophecy began with Celestine II. The discrepancy is due to how papal history is counted: the prophecy does not include antipopes (rival claimants), nor does it match the Vatican’s line-up one-for-one. It has its own sequence, beginning after the vision in 1143.

Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, doesn’t carry the name Peter. (Thus is not Petro Romanus)

Adding to the weight of his death is the timing: Pope Francis died on Easter Monday—a deeply symbolic day in Christianity. It marks the beginning of the Resurrection season, a time meant to signify rebirth, triumph over death, and the rising of hope. But within that same biblical timeline is one lesser-known moment: the cursing of the fig tree by Jesus. According to the Gospels, Jesus cursed the fig tree on Easter Monday for bearing no fruit, a symbolic act that theologians interpret as a judgment against false appearances of righteousness.”

      —————–

Who is going to be the last pope. Well lets check the betting odds:

Pietro Parolin currently has betting odds of +150, which translates to a 40% implied probability of becoming the next Pope following the passing of Pope Francis. He is considered a strong candidate due to his experience as the Vatican’s Secretary of State.

Pietro Parolin would be an exact match for Malachys final pope 112.

      Pietro = Peter

Parolin is a native of Italy, which makes him a better fit to be called Peter the Roman.

  3. April 19 1775,,, Lexington Green,,, First battle between England and the Colonies beginning a struggle for freedom. Brave men.

April 19 1993,,, Waco Texas. Final verdict of who won the battle for freedom and liberty.

73 men women and about 20 children massacred with the help of the US Army ignoring the Posse Comitatus Act. In fact many of the criminals attacking the “compound” were given medals, raises and thanked by upper echelon officials. Disgusting.

Then there is Randy Weavers wife shot dead holding her baby by a federale sniper. By now all so called Constitution amendments have been eviscerated. And many more.

  4. Eric, et al,
Hans Hermann-Hoppe wrote a book called Democracy The God that Failed. His thesis that democracies result in much more violence and tyranny because the parties elected to office have a limited time to implement their agendas and thus tend to act less judiciously than say monarchies which tend to desire passing on the power to future generations. Not sure if that’s valid but there does seem to be a disconnect generally between the parties in power in a democracy and what the voters really desire.
This was evident in the European sphere when people in various countries were required to keep voting until they got it right, WRT the EU. For a libertarian perspective, Rothbard’s Conceived in Liberty is a great if challenging read about the years from 1600s through the adoption of the USC. It’s all about entropy dude.

    • That’s correct. These assholes get into office, knowing it’s for a limited time, do their damage, make their money, then retire in luxury. It’s infuriating.

    • “…there does seem to be a disconnect generally between the parties in power in a democracy and what the voters really desire.”

Voters desire free shit. Lots of it. As Alexander Fraser Tytler observed back in the 18th century already:

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”

BTW, the Hoppe book you mention is fantastic, if a bit hard to read. He’s written other stuff also that’s well worth reading.

        • Morning, Helot!

I think Rose was right. There are very few people who agree with these lyrics from an old song: I don’t want nothin’ from no one, if I can’t get it on my own. If you don’t like the way I’m livin’, you just leave this long-haired country boy alone.

      • 100 percent, John –

People vote their interests. And a majority of people are interested in free stuff. So they vote for the candidate who promises to give it to them. And then we get to the point of elections being – as Mencken described them – a kind of advance auction of stolen goods.

  5. Eric, you are overlooking the machinations of GHWBush in all this.

First, it started on Feb 28 and Reno, may God have mercy on her soul, wasn’t even AG yet. This was just a few weeks into Clinton’s first term. I doubt he could cook this up in Waco, right in W’s back yard, in such short a time. It makes sense that HW had this set up to be done on his watch, a la Ruby Ridge, and as such he got his partner in crime, Clinton and his involvement in Iran/Contra, to finish it off. Consider it a parting gift from Bush to Clinton.

Yes, Reno lit the final match but, this has HW and his CIA fingerprints all over it.

Dick J. Ravis wrote The Ashes of Waco. It’s worth a look.
    https://press.syr.edu/supressbooks/1444/ashes-of-waco/

As far as the Davidians being “weirdos”, it doesn’t make their faith less worthy of respect. However, this is a discussion for another time.

    • Second the recommendation on Ashes of Waco. Also, Send in the Waco Killers a book of essays by Vin Suprynowicz. Sadly, the general reaction to that whole incident was to make jokes about the murders of citizens of this country because these people were not of the protected class….the trouble with that attitude is that once it becomes acceptable to murder, imprison, persecute or deport individuals for specious reasons it always becomes an ever widening victim pool…..a la Martin Niemöller.

      • Vin Suprynowicz, what a blast from the past. Yes, denigrate the victims and laugh all the way to the gulag.

It’s like leftist now up in arms over Trump’s deportations. They never gave a flyin’ rip over the last 80 years of ever burgeoning tyranny. Now, somehow, it’s unacceptable.

You asked for it. Now you’re gettin’ it good and hard.

    • After their presidencies, GHWBush and Bill Clinton were best friends and traveled the world together. Not rivals, probably blood related, and both part of the same Rothschild power structure. The illusion (that the public believes) is that Bushes and Clinton and Trumps oppose each other. Not so. They are all part of the ruling class, middle level managers, actors chosen by those who own the system to fool you.

  6. The entire fiasco was promulgated by the ATF to show they were necessary when they were being faced with possible elimination of their agency and absorption into others.

Instead of realizing the proof before their eyes mandated the abolishment of the ATF, the stupid politicians swallowed all the propaganda and decided they were needed.

  7. AAhhhh, the Shenendoah Valley, Atlanta to the sea, Charleston, Richmond, and many other areas of the beautiful southland where arson, rape, murder, and plunder were comitted wantonly in the name of “freedom and union”. The feds cut their teeth on such atrocities. Damn them and their idea of “freedom”. Damn them to hell where they belong.

      • We don’t know if “Jan 6” is even real, or just another in a long line of psyops. Seeing as it was in the ‘news’, my guess is “Jan 6” is 100% a propaganda event, nothing more.

Unless you happen to know somebody personally that was there.

  8. Every four years the sheep line up to cast their vote.

    https://sadmoment.com/sheep-on-voting-for-a-lion-or-a-wolf-on-election-day/

Every administration is progressively worse than the previous one.

This leads to desperation in the sheep herd, so they vote harder.

Which results in an even more corrupt administration which does even more dastardly deeds.

Division in the sheep herds is now a life and death moment.

Sheep on the Left despise the sheep on the right. As the nation spirals further into chaos, debt, war, inflation, the sheep start fighting each other.

The politicians see that they have lost control of their sheep herds, so they may decide to kill them off in WW3.

During the entire process of voting and government mismanagement, the ruling elite always had full control and the sheep had no control, to keep the sheep in belief of their control, the sheep were allowed to vote for their guy. The elite controlled both candidates, so it mattered not who the sheep favored in any 4 year voting cycle.

Now we are at the end, the last Pope is dead and the stock market is crashing. It’s over folks, the entire fraud of central banking, big government, endless war for profit, fiat script currency has come to the end.

What are the scumbag politicians going to do next to fool and subdue us? What is needed are guilotines and rope, the entire political class needs to hang, and all the subversive Jewish organizations driven out of the nation. Trump serves the enemy. Israel did 911 and is an existential threat to the survival of the United States, and traitor Trump is serving them. This will not end well.

    • “Every administration is progressively worse than the previous one.”

Yes, insofar as we cycle through “absurdly egregious” and “mildly egregious”.

We are now at the mildly egregious stage.

    • I’m amazed at how one mentally unstable wacko can crash the entire world economy. The best way to respond to Trumpenstein would be to ignore his “orders”, laugh in his face and call him a loser.

      • ‘Trump is a noted author, with more than twenty published volumes to his name, many of them high-profile bestsellers on business strategy, politics, and negotiation.

‘But I’m not entirely convinced that he’s ever actually read a single book cover-to-cover in his entire life, even including any of his own. And if he did, I suspect that the last one may have been decades ago, perhaps filled with many colorful pictures.’ — Ron Unz

    • Are you biting your nails again, Jim? 🙂

Do not watch the dangling carrot on the stick…pay attention on who is holding the stick.

If we know the goal in 2030 is to separate a fool and his money how would the oligarchy do that? Debt and fear. Who is selling today? Ackman? Ramji? Finks? Nope, the peasants are selling. Pay attention to what the billionaires are doing and follow their lead. If they are selling, sell. If they are buying, buy.

Panicking people make stupid decisions…like getting shots into their arms and selling in a down market.

I think I will go buy some more Exxon now.

      • Suddenly, after reading your comment, I’m reminded of, I think it was the Summer of ’08, driving around the working class neighborhoods in The City and house after house people had parked their cars & gathered in backyards, on front stoops, and everywhere inbetween. All Summer long.
Never saw it like that before, or since.
Gasoline demand dropped like a rock.
I wonder what else was going on along about that time. I wonder if history rhymes. Rhymes longer?
…Anyway, I thought the saying of the rich was: buy when there’s blood in the streets. Is Wall St., or even Main St., that way, or are they simply, just being shaken at this point? I dunno.

‘Miami Housing Market Hit By “Breathtaking” Collapse In Demand’

        https://www.zerohedge.com/personal-finance/miami-housing-market-hit-breathtaking-collapse-demand

        • Hi helot,

Except Nick Gerli doesn’t ask the most important question…why? Why is Miami inventory above average? The graphs are scary looking and nobody does fear mongering better than ZH, but the Miami housing market rise in inventory is attributed mainly due to the condo sector. Due to the Surfside condo collapse HOA/condo fees have accelerated across the board in Florida’s largest condo areas (Miami, Tampa, Orlando) due to the passage of Senate Bill 154 (FL) and Senate Bill 4D (FL). Condo fees in South Florida have increased 60% and is the hardest hit area in the state. Add on Florida’s high homeowner’s insurance costs and nobody wants to buy near the coast.

          • Is it, just in Miami? And, really, ‘the why’ is not so important as it, just is.

The pile up in high priced homes in this area appears obvious. I’m not sure that homes are being sold before the For Sale sign gets staked into the ground like has been the case.

Saw a sign in a yard today, “Buy this house – get Free Eggs for a year!”.

Reminded me of quite the opposite of sellers in CA. in 2006 requiring the buyers to agree to feed the squirrels if they bought the house. 180′

Time will tell. I just don’t get Any vibes at all that people are flush with extra cash, confident as you seem to be, and everything is peechy keen. …Wallets, zippered shut?

Time will tell, when the tide rolls out.

            • Hi helot,

Why isn’t important? Really? Are you suffering from naivety or just apathy? How can anyone make a conscientious decision without the facts?

I don’t believe most people are walking around with a surplus of cash on them or everything is hunky dory. I just don’t promote panicking. Fear causes people to make terrible decisions that cost time, money, and security.

Things go up, things go down. They never remain there.

              • For the most part, I agree with this. There are occasional times when those responsible for controlling such things take them so far down and for so long, families and lives are destroyed. The global “great depression”, caused by bankers no doubt about it, is a prime example.

              • Not naivety or apathy. Simply this: prices are going up & people can’t afford it, and won’t buy it.

                That’s, the fact.

The, ‘why’ really doesn’t matter to the guy who no can no longer afford it.

The, ‘why’ doesn’t really matter to the person who won’t buy it.

Why do you suppose the For Sale sign in the yard here in the Midwest says, ‘Free Eggs for a Year if you buy this house’?

That, ‘why’ doesn’t matter to those who cannot afford it, nor are willing to pay such a high price for it.

You write, “Things go up, things go down. They never remain there.”

Perpendicular to that, a bit from Keynes, “Markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.”

        • Demand side economics? “Just a temporary price adjustment.” Is that like, transitory inflation?

‘The Keynesian Multiplier Is a Dangerous Myth’

“… an artificial boost in the total demand that is not preceded by production and saving leads to the depletion of savings and distortion of production. And, contrary to the popular view, this causes a shrinkage in wealth, production, and consumption. In other words, it results in economic impoverishment.”

          https://mises.org/mises-wire/keynesian-multiplier-dangerous-myth

          • Yeah, so, the Mises institute is a pretty Jewish institution. Founded by and ran by Jews. And they tell some pretty bold lies about Judaism, socialism, capitalism, and communism. Think very critically about what you read from them.

            A quote from that…ahem…website:

“The first question is readily answered when one recalls the long history of anti-Jewish measures taken by the Tsarist Russian government in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. A similar appeal to particular circumstances would I think explain such other instances of Jewish support for socialist revolutionary groups as the historical record discloses. Absent the existence of special circumstances, there is no marked Jewish support for the overthrow of capitalism. Jerry Muller is right when he says: “Milton Friedman’s contention that Jews vilified capitalism while profiting from it is highly distorted. To the extent that Jews identified themselves with socialism, it was largely a phenomenon of eastern European Jews and their immediate descendents in the years from the late nineteenth century through the 1930s.” 10 And even if one is inclined to think the association between Jews and communism greater than Muller allows, it is clear that any such affinity has its limits. Even during the period when Jewish radicalism was at its height, most Jews were not communists, and most communists were not Jews. It would be difficult to consider the Chinese communist movement an instance of Jewish Bolshevism.”

I don’t even know where to begin with the lies in that single paragraph, starting with the “anti-Jewish measures taken by the Tsarist Russian government”. What a bunch of historical claptrap THAT is. The Tsar in fact BENT OVER BACKWARDS to appease the Jews, and it was in the moment that he made the greatest concession to the Jews, that they turned around and murdered him and his family. And the reason for this is because he opposed the 1-world government the Rothschild Jews were attempting to implement.

That’s just the FIRST of many lies in that long-winded paragraph from the Mises institute. I could expunge about that nonsense all day.

            https://mises.org/mises-daily/judaism-capitalism-and-communism

I won’t say that everything they say there is a lie, but you should be damned sure you’re taking into very careful consideration who is saying what on that website.

            • A political & historical discourse of opinions, facts & your disagreement which is entirely separate from a discussion involving economics in it’s basic sense, i.e. “Let us say that, out of an additional dollar received, individuals spend $0.90 and save $0.10.”.

Always, trolling? …Give it a rest, mang.

It’s about spending 90 Cents & saving 10 Cents. Fer crying out loud. Dispute the facts of the matter, but this business about always squishing the messenger, is tiresome.

              • So, recommending thinking critically about what one reads is “trolling”?

I think that says a lot, everyone. In fact, I don’t think there’s anything left to say about this at all.

                • That’s a silly comment, letmepicyou.

This constant misdirection of yours, & of others of, ‘jew this, & jew that’, was the point.

                  Yah, trolling.

It ain’t got nothing to do with, or about, critical thinking. It’s just, trolling.

You didn’t spend a minute addressing the facts of the matter, you only attacked the source. It’s petty.

                  • No, attacking someone for daring to suggest your Jewish source is anything but absolute fact from the mouth of God himself is what’s petty.

I’m pretty sure everyone here can see that.

Why, no. I’m totally out of stonks, cool as a cucumber — just watching the crackling campfire like that decade-ago meme of a little girl entertained by a burning house. My nails are so perfect I could lacquer them gloss black.

Here’s the big, big picture: gold, inflation-adjusted, is approaching its early 1980 record high:

        https://postimg.cc/z3YCPFHj

Even bigger picture: since the CPI calculation was corrupted 42 years ago to use OER (Owners Equivalent Rent) and thus suppress it, gold has blown way past its January 21, 1980 high.

        Donnie Fubar: ‘I did that.’

        • I would not be surprised if you wore black nail polish. 😉

Yes, gold has surpassed the 1980 high, but a look at the MacroTrends 100 year historical gold chart shows something very different between the highs of 1980s and the highs of 2025…inflation. Inflation and gold shared the same heartbeat in 1980. Right now gold is skyrocketing, but inflation is hovering around 2.5%. We are in new territory. Could gold skyrocket during a deflationary period?

          • Gold is “skyrocketing” against the fiat currencies of countries that continue to inject liquidity into the market in an environment of diminished production and perpetual war. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I invested in gold in the early 2000s but in a real SHTF episode, the trick is turning gold into food, energy and other resources needed to survive. BTW, Eric is right on the money WRT US history.

            • RE: “but in a real SHTF episode”

I read about those. FerFal had much to say about it in Surviving Argentina in 2001. A number of people have also written about it when the U.S.S.R. collapsed.
Maybe, not so much a trick, as it is a process?

Haggling at garage sales might be good practice?
              Or, buying a used vehicle?

              • Spartan kid,
Was in Buenos Aires Dec 2001….

                Argentine peso pegged 1 to 1 US…
ATM’ s asked if you wanted pesos or dollars..
You betcha…. A few days later “CURRENCY CRISIS “….
                Oops… 🤔…
Abracadabra… peso is now 3 to 1 US..
                US bills… no longer available….
How’s that for a kick in the nuts!
                Shit happens 😳

                • That – is Wild – that you experienced that.
I read quite a bit about it when it was happening, and after the fact.

The whole danged thing was a real eye opener. And, plenty of lessons for the here & now:

          • RE: “Inflation and gold shared the same heartbeat in 1980.”

            Some perspective, seems in order:

“… gold became a bubble commodity, from 1976 until January, 1980. The bubble burst as a result of the Federal Reserve System’s tight-money policy, launched in October, 1979. Gold fell so far that it did not recover when the FED reversed policy in August, 1982, when the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell below 800. The Mexican government threatened a default on all international loans to its banks. The FED inflated, bailing out the Mexican banks.

Gold went down after January, 1980, as did most commodities. Anyone holding commodities for two decades lost his shirt. Yet monetary inflation never ceased. Neither did price inflation.”…

  9. If you want to know the main reason they had to do away with the people at Waco, look into the CIA and Buffalo Airlines.

  10. REMEMBER RUBY RIDGE!
    REMEMBER WACO!
    NEVER FORGIVE!
    NEVER FORGET!
I believe as Randy Weaver and his family believed…that the white race is Biblical Israel.
It was this reason he was murdered, not for a shotgun that was 2″ too short.
You don’t murder people for 2″ of metal.
You murder people for their ideological beliefs.
When will they come for me?
When will they come for all of you?

    • The shotgun wasn’t even 2 inches short of the 18 inch fed rule. As I recall the stool pigeon tried to get him to cut it shorter, but he cut it down to a compliant 18 inch length. Then it somehow, mysteriously got shorter.

As if you have to ask someone to do a little hacksaw and file work.

Remember this, if some “friend” tries to get you to do something against the commies rules that they could easily do themselves, your spidey senses should all go off.

      • They do. The feds are a bunch of unlawful, murdering thieves that do the bidding of the Jews at every opportunity.

  11. Every single government on this planet is founded upon it’s assumption of authority to kill you if you disobey. They cannot “function” without it. Hence NO government, nor any of it’s agents, is trustworthy.

  12. Waco? Gaza? At this point, what difference does it make?

The pall of death is in every dark, black cloud, the silver lining that beams from the edges of the darkness is a good sign. 11-22-1963 was a rude awakening, 62 years of the pall of death isn’t quite enough, seems as though that is how it is.

If I were to make a conclusion, dotgov is bad for ya.

You would think that Captain Bone Spurs would be having some second thoughts right about now.

The good news is the govco goons involved will all be dead one day, that day is maybe here for some but not soon enough for those still alive.

I wonder who pays for it all, you should too.

    • Vance’s meeting with Pope gives birth to bizarre theories

Several Vance critics asked him, “What did you do bro, what did you do?”

Soros, hell: send JD to off the antichrist, Netanyahu.

  13. That was a seminal event for so many of us in the X generation. The inspiration of a small group finally standing up to the big bad communist government, then the realization that it was actually worse than we feared when they staged a military assault on a group of people who had done absolutely nothing wrong, but were a threat to the powers that be simply by standing up and being seen.

They could have arrested DK at so many times without drama, but they had no grounds. They could have simply laid seige to the “compound” and waited peacefully and patiently for the victims to surrender. But since they were a challenge to the communists’ illicit authority, they were murdered, in cold blood, in technicolor.

I remember the sickness in my stomach that day, and the realization that for the rest of my life I would regret not going there and being in support of those innocent people. And they gave medals and promotions to the murderers, and got away with it. People get away with things in war, and from that day we all knew that they were at afraid of and at war with us.

  14. Even after the COVID nonsense (lockdowns, face diapers, mRNA jabs, etc.) just a few years ago, it’s astounding that there are STILL people out there who unquestionably accept whatever government or corporate media says. They tended to be the same people who said “Don’t do your own research!”, which once upon a time was called READING.

The ironic thing is, many of these same people were probably also around in the 1960s carrying signs saying stuff like “Question Authority!” & protesting the Vietnam War.

    • Very good point, the anti-war Left is now defending the Covid hoax, trust Fauci and the science! I live in a town full of these Leftist retards, a common yard sign says “keep your hands off my social security”. Trump is not going after your SS check, DOGE is stopping the SS fraudulent checks – which protects the SS system from collapse. Apparently these Leftist retards can not figure that out – they are run by slogans and emotions and are unable to think properly.

      • Hi Yukon,

You may also remember these old Lefties who claimed to be anti-establishment but willingly went along with the narratives involving COVID & the “vaccines” pushed by Big Pharma, the establishment, and corporate media. Neil Young is one such example.

        • My buddy and myself had that very conversation the other day. We’re both awake to the illusion, and we were talking about how, right on cue, no matter who the “right” or “left” think they are, no matter what “side” they believe themselves to be on, they will like who they’re told to like, hate who they’re told to hate, deify who they’re told to deify, and villainize who they’re told to villainize. Both “sides”, the “left” and the “right” are some of the most well-trained Pavlovian dogs we’ve ever seen, and we were amazed how easily it was to turn the pro-Musk people into anti-Musk people, and the anti-Musk people into pro-Musk people, just with a few stories in the “news”, a few key posts or words spoken here or there.

“I’m supposed to hate Musk now? Ok! I shall grab my mask and go protest!”

“I’m supposed to love Musk now? Ok! I shall grab my Bible and go protest the protestors!”

Snap your fingers and they jump. It’s truly astounding. Too bad we can’t figure out how to do that to our “government”.

          • It’s almost like there is a “Mighty Wurlitzer” playing tunes for the peasants to dance to and sing along with…

        • That is correct, Neil Young, went full Covid retard – which ended my lifelong love for his music like Cinnamon Girl. My favorite verse in all of his songs was “a thousand points of light on the homeless man” in Rockin in the Free World protest song (soon to be the national anthem under orange MAGA turd)

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0RauMZPb9g

We got a thousand points of light
          For the homeless man
          We got a kinder, gentler,
          Machine gun hand

No song since CCR Fortunate Son describes modern day Amerika Welfare- Warfare state and it’s effect on the common man better than that song.

  15. I remember watching this horrible event.

It was heartbreaking to witness leaders in the u.s. gov give orders to terrorize, kill and maim innocent men women and children. Intimidate.. then burn them to death.

Terrorize, kill and maim innocent american men women and children right here on us soil.

It is all one needs to know.. to make the decision.

Are you with them.. or against them?

If you are not willing to choose.. you already have.

    • The United States Government terrorizes, kills and maims innocent men, women, and children all over the world for many decades, and right now they are butchering 100 children a day in Gaza. When they do it to us we are shocked.

The ruling class has complete contempt for us. The only reason they are not killing us daily like Waco or Ruby Ridge is because it would be bad for their milk machine, we are their cow, and they must keep us loyal so they can run their worldwide military death machine.

Make no mistake Trump loves Jews which means Trumps hates white people – white Christian Amerikans were the useful idiots that put him in office, now he is carrying out his Jew agenda, so don’t be surprised by how he betrays us time and again. The Jewish agenda is completely anti-white. Time for us to figure that out. If you are loyal to Jews and Israel that mean you are completely anti-white.

What is laughable and sad at the same time is how Israel persecutes the Christian population in Jerusalem while the Christians in Amerika sing hosannahs to Israel. I mean, can these white Christians get any dumber than that? Trump’s base of white Evangelical Christians are being wiped out in Israel and they love Trump who loves Israel.

      https://www.unz.com/comments/all/?commenterfilter=Yukon+Jack

      • Indeed, it is a delicate calculus they are engaged in. Don’t kill and maim enough peasants and they might get uppity and think they have rights. Kill too many and it’s like whacking a hornet’s nest, you might get stung, even to death.

  16. On the bright side, public distrust of government is now very palpable. This was not the case in the 1990s. They had a tight lock on the media and the narrative.

May Janet Reno continue to burn in hell for eternity.

    • “May Janet Reno continue to burn in hell for eternity.”

Ditto, including Bill and Hillary, Obamas, Bushes, the CIA, Israel, Zelenksy, Ursula von der Lying, Klause Slob, Dr. Fraudci, all of D.C., all of the EU heads of state, all of the MSM, all of Congress except Ron Paul and son and Thomas Massie, ADL, FBI, SPLC, AIPAC, Adelsons, all the heads of the commercial banks, all of the Federal Reserve and IRS, all of DHS and Homeland Security … what the hell, just nuke everybody and everything!

  17. ‘The government always makes an object lesson of such people.’ — eric

Just so. As does its little west Asian proxy (or ruler, if you prefer):

‘Israel assassinated a photojournalist in Gaza in an airstrike targeting her family’s home on Wednesday, the day after it was announced that a documentary she appears in would premier in Cannes next month.

‘Her name was Fatima Hassouna. Nine members of her family were also reportedly killed in the bombing. She was going to get married in a few days.

‘The documentary is titled Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk, and it’s about Israel’s crimes in Gaza.’ — Caitlin Johnstone

    https://www.lewrockwell.com/2025/04/no_author/i-want-a-death-that-the-world-will-hear/

    Israel is our misfortune.

  18. Well this pretty well explains why David Koresh was never arrested whenever he left the compound. GovCo just has to remind us that we are Serfs and not Citizens.

  19. That was a turning point for many of us. I also watched it all unfold, as we usually had CNN on at the office. The events leading up to the firebombing were “hilarious.” Playing disco* through huge speakers all day and night. Press conferences where Janet Reno made fun of them for having faith. Pundits worried sick about “the children.” At the moment I really didn’t understand what the problem was, other than I guess the Branch Davidians weren’t paying taxes. Seemed very extreme to me to go after them for tax evasion with an army. And it just got worse after.

Another turning point from around that time was Gulf War I. They hyped it up to an extreme, put CNN permanently on the propaganda distribution team, and got one unemployed college dropout really worried about the draft. When it was clear that Iraq was seriously outgunned by the US. And the daily briefings with bomb video… The press corps laughing as Stormin’ Norman Schwarzkopf showed that “luckiest man in Iraq” who managed to get his very civilian pickup off the bridge in time before it was blown up. What they didn’t show was that he probably still died or was injured from the shock wave or debris. It’s funny because it’s on the TV screen. Like Daffy Duck being shot by Elmer Fudd. The next scene he’s clearly unharmed, right?

    Right?

*or was it Barry Manilow? Blasting CNN probably would have been more effective, but that’s unreasonble torture

  20. Janet Reno ever fulfilled her ambition of becoming Florida Governor, which arguably may have happened if she hadn’t led the charge in Waco.

Without a credible challenge in 2002, Jeb! cruised to reelection in Florida, but his second term in the FL Governors’ Mansion may have ended the dynasty unless his son, George P., aka “The Little Brown One” as “Poppy” referred to him, can recover the family name in Texas running for Attorney General next year, a primary contest which he already lost once.

Long term, kharma does seem to catch up.

    • That was the one good thing about Trump. No Bush will ever win an election again, “special vote counters” notwithstanding.

      • As soon as people like you figure out nobody has “won” an election in over 100 years in this stupid ‘country’, we’ll be on the verge of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

          • I tested as a post-college graduate in reading and comprehension in 8th grade.

Speaking plainly isn’t your thing, is it? If I don’t believe elections are legitimate, I don’t use the language that even ALLUDES to “winning” an “election”. You’ll never, in your entire life, hear me utter the words suggesting that “elections” are “won” in this country, and you’ll never see me type it. You can check my history as far back as you’d like to go. I don’t live in the fantasy world, and I don’t talk like I do, either.

As an interesting side note, when I took my college entrance exams, I aced the English part. The woman that went over my test results said that was “Pretty unusual.”

      • The cabal behind the Bush family still have a chance at the White House via George P.. At our house, he is known as “P. Diddly”.

        P. Diddly is still young, but the window will close if he doesn’t move on the Texas Attorney General race next year.
