That people – some people – expected Elon Musk to allow free speech on X is as remarkable as the fact that some people expected less government (and less war) from Trump. Musk is a player – and he plays people for fools. He tells them they’ll get free speech – provided they pay for the reach. And even if they do pay for it, the algorithm will time-out room speech that the algorithm does not approve of.
Well, it’s about to get worse.
It already has. – in Australia, where the government is now demanding and X is enforcing ID Verification requirements to enjoy what isn’t free speech on the platform in that country. Soon to come to this country, as inevitably as fall follows summer.
The ID is of course biometric. You must “be prepared to take a selfie” and send it to X, along with your government-issued ID. Then you must “agree” to some terms and conditions. You must agree to “X and Persona using images of my ID my selfie, including extracted biometric data, to confirm my identity and for X’s related safety and security, fraud prevention and payment purposes.”

It’s always for “safety” and “security.” Because so many people seem to consider one or the other or both to be the most important things in life. Far more important then their liberty – much less anyone else’s. As regards the latter, the people who would rather be “safe” and “secure” even if it means surrendering every last vestige of their liberty are invariably hysterically hostile toward anyone who doesn’t esteem “safety” and “security” to the exclusion of every other consideration. We all witnessed this during the period when people who wore “masks” insisted they “worked” yet also insisted everyone else wear the damned apparatus as well. It was never about precautionary measures – because whether they “worked” as that never mattered. What mattered, above all, was that everyone be made to submit to the feelings of congenitally neurotic people who were also much worse than just that. For it is one thing – a sad thing – to be neurotic. It is another thing to insist that everyone else share in and pretend to believe in your neurosis.
This “safety” and “security” stuff is the same stuff. Some will remember how both were used to leverage away liberties almost unimaginable today, almost 25 years ago after that infamous September day now referred to in quasi-religious and overtly manipulative language as “911.” As in, it’s an emergency!
One that has yet to end.
In the name of – here it began – “safety” and “security” – we got a Homeland and anyone who didn’t like it was obviously lacking “patriotism.” Cue that nauseating anthem by Lee Greenwood that has become the Party Song of the Party that turned America into a Homeland and furthered the debauching of the American people into a herd of fearful, compliant sheep demanding to be kept “safe” and “secure.”
They gave up being free to travel unmolested – and anonymously. Which Americans were once free to do, if you can imagine that.
They will also acquiesce agreeably to scanning their own faces to provide the demanded “biometric data,” so that X can easily keep track of everything they’re allowed to post and monetize it (without cutting the monetized in on a cent of the “earnings”) and collate and use it to profile the thoughts of everyone stupid enough to continue posting their thoughts on X. The government will of course be the partner of X – just as it was when it was still called Twitter and its symbol was a little blue birdie, which is an interesting coincidence if you want to look into who was using “blue” and birdies to name its various creepy projects starting a long time ago.
Musk managed to persuade a lot of gullible birdies to post on what is now X. Many of them even pay him a monthly fee as the cost of what isn’t free speech and never mind the reach. I myself am guilty of posting on X – even though my reach is effectively nil as I am unwilling to pay for what is not free speech. I have done it because – exasperatingly – everyone else (just about) does it and (so far) no one has come up with a free speech alternative. At least, none that have the kind of Jesus Hoover draw that X has – because almost everyone is already there and so not somewhere else.
I have tried to persuade people to shun X – especially people who seem to be of at least a liberty-inclining mindset. Most just sigh and continue to post – because X is where the action (and spam bots) is.
Will they also continue to post when in order to do so they will have to scan their face and provide “biometric data” plus a government ID, just to be “safe” and “secure”?
I fear most will.
For the same reason most of them – cue the nauseating Lee Greenwood anthem – wore a “mask” and spread their legs and stood by amiably while a government geek placed his hands on their wives and children and rifled through their belongings, helping themselves to whatever items seemed desirable.
The Zionists are right. Most of the “goy” are cattle who will sing that Lee Greenwood song on the train to their Freedom Cities, where they will eat ze bugs while checking their wearables to see whether their monthly UBI has been deposited yet.

Even buying cold medicine is an ordeal in my state (probably all states by now.) You have to show ID and fill out a form and contractually agree that if you buy too much, you might get a visit. I probably have to hand over my driver’s license (a card that used to be used only when a cop stopped you for speeding or you wanted to buy a drink) over at least once a week just going about my daily business. Recently at Kroger, instead of just looking at my ID to verify I’m old, the cashier scanned it into some machine. I asked about that and she had no idea where it was going, who would have access or how long they would keep their photo of my ID. (Note: if I had known she was going to do that, I would not have bought my drink there. I thought she was just going to look; next thing I know, she’s feeding my ID into this machine reader, which they also do at TSA now BTW.)
Last time I had my taxes done, I had to answer questions about how I pay for my healthcare, which is not the IRS’s business, IMO. And I had to show the preparer my ID.
I have gotten so sick of people demanding my ID info that I got in an argument with a clerk. I kind of regret being rude, but she just kind of demanded my zip code (I was paying in cash.) I said no, F off, not your biz, etc. Now I know the only reason for this is for marketing; the store wants to know where they customers are coming from. It helps them spend their marketing dollars better, etc. But I just get so sick of being asked my address, my phone number, for my ID or do I have a loyalty card or do I want a loyalty card or how about a store credit card? Just take my money, thank me and let me be on my way. You’ve got my face on video but I am not giving you a name or location to match with it.

The problem is that privacy is not sacred to most people. The inconvenience of finding a new way to save theirs isn’t worth it in most people’s eyes. If people actually took a stand and said “no” to Alexa in their homes, “no” to cars with cameras that follow their eyes, “no” to opening your cell phone or tablet with a finger print, “no” to posting pics of you and your family online, “no” to the constant willingness to show your ID and credentials to anyone who asks we may be able to cripple it, but when the majority demands constant validation and accessibility it will be impossible to put this Genie back in the bottle.

Here’s my issue with testing for such things as dementia, cancer, restless leg syndrome, mental illness, etc. (other than the invasion of privacy). Not all illness is genetic. Several factors such as physical care (what one eats, do they exercise), environmental, age, and how one deals with stress does play a huge role in one’s medical makeup.
What is the point of telling someone they have may have the chromosome that causes Alzheimer’s’? So they can freak out everyday of their life? That individual could get hit by a bus at 54 years of age before any sign of Alzheimer’s would appear. Even if they live until 94 there is no guarantee that it will make an appearance.
I do believe individuals need to take care of themselves. Eat right, don’t become stationary, learn to manage stress, but also just enjoy living. Prepare for the future, but also realize the future is never going to be what we anticipate it to be. Life throws curve balls and sitting around anticipating what will come next is a waste of one’s existence.

I haven’t got it and while it is true I might keel over in 15 minuted from a heart attack or develop some other horrible affliction, probably won’t and regardless, I am not going tyo live my life worrying about what might happen and working to pay for “coverage.”
