Your REALLY Digital Ear Tag

They’re pushing what they call REAL ID really hard.

It is the federally pushed replacement for the state-issued driver’s license you’re required to get if you wish to be able to cash a check or buy cough syrup – and also, of course, to be allowed to operate your motor vehicle on the government’s roads. Our onetime right to use the public roads having gone the way of our right to keep what we earn.

The driver’s license is of course an ID already. Just not REAL enough, apparently. They want more identification. Because – apparently – the state-issued ID isn’t “real” enough (for them).

Of course, the ID they’ve been requiring us to get for decades to be allowed to buy cough syrup or cash a check (and incidentally to be allowed to drive on the government’s roads)  is already pretty real – in the ghetto-English usage. The photo they took of you is probably a face scan that can be (and will) be used by facial recognition systems and there is a bar code (and probably an RFID transmitter locater device of some kind built into it, too.

They really want a way to track your movements and activities in other words.

What that has to do with driving is difficult to divine.

Anyhow, it is still possible to avoid getting this really REAL ID – which you may wish not to get as a protest measure against the creeping biometricism they’re pushing on us, my neologism for the push by the government-corporate nexus to herd us into their real-time databases via fingerprints, facial recognition and other biological identifiers. This is being pushed chiefly in order to make anonymity a thing of the past. They do not want to know it’s really us so much as they really want to know everything we do, the moment we do it. They want to know, particularly, every last detail of every transaction we make, this being the prelude to and also the foundational component of the digital monetary system they envision.

They really want to do this – by tying everything together in one ID that is much more than just that.

You can still avoid the REAL ID – for now – in some states.

My state – VA – is one such though probably not for much longer given the Spanbergering that occurred last November. Just as it will shortly be impossible to legally buy “assault” rifles in Virginia, so also it is likely Virginians will soon be required to get the really REAL ID. The window is closing, in other words. That’s why I decided to renew my driver’s license now instead of come November, when my current one’s validity expires.

Naturally I will be punished for this.

The punishments – plural – include not being allowed to travel by air and being barred from certain places that require a really REAL ID to enter. These punishments will of course be increased as time goes on, to prod the recalcitrant cattle into compliance.

But I discovered that when I renewed my not-really REAL ID, I got automatically enrolled by the state in the mID – the Virginia Mobile ID. This is a digital ID. Meaning, they want you to carry it electronically, via a smartphone. Your Future ID is Here, said the email I got from the DMV.

When you download the Virginia Mobile ID, you’re choosing to set up a digital companion that can be used in many of the same places you use your physical identification – at 350+ airport TSA checkpoints,” chirps the DMV.

Italics added.

It is a “digital companion” in the same way that a tapeworm is a physical companion in your gut. And they want everyone to carry such a companion, electronically. Why? Because even the really REAL ID can be left at home or in a drawer and you can’t be kept track of if it isn’t on you. But smartphones most of us carry with us everywhere now – and they are also already tied into the web of things.  I like this latter expression better than the Internet of things because web more accurately conveys the reality of what’s being spun all around us. A digitized ID embedded in your phone means everything you do using a phone can and will be known. What’s ultimately sought is a kind of QR code open-air feed lot in which the cattle are obliged to be constantly scanned and perpetually tracked.

It has as little to do with driving as the “vaccines” had to do with preventing the getting and giving of “COVID.”

Horribly, the state has already digitized me, Even if I do not download their app I am already in their system. Soon, we all will be – unless we forgo our devices and the conveniences they offer that have been used against us in the same way that candy is used to lure little kids into the clutches of a pederast.

As you prepare to show your identification to TSA, consider using your Mobile ID to make getting through the line that much easier. No more juggling wallets or handbags. Your Virginia Mobile ID is already in your hand, on your mobile device when and where you need it.”

It’s “Convenient. Secure. Always with you.”

  1. Catherine Austin Fitts has also been warning about that for years and she is right on their agenda this time again:

Here We Go Again – “COVID 2.0” (VIDEO)
    https://solari.com/money-markets-report-april-2-2026/

Catherine Austin Fitts and John Titus frame the expanding Iran conflict as “COVID 2.0,” arguing it follows a template seen in Ukraine and Gaza: destroy infrastructure, then rebuild conditionally to embed Western financial rails, digital ID, and transaction control.

The way out is off grid, off the matrix and outlaw if need be. The more non compliant and out of it the more difficult it is for them to force their agenda.

The eternal choice between living on our knees like salves or on our feet like free people.

  2. “unless we forgo our devices and the conveniences they offer that have been used against us in the same way that candy is used to lure little kids into the clutches of a pederast.”

It is time to do so, ditch the “smartphone” in the toilets where it belongs, throw the TV with it (if it wasn’t already done like I did in 2020).

When laws are criminal, the only way to go is to ignore them.

The US are so vast that one could drive all his life without ever see everything of it.
In Europe, id’s have been mandatory forever in most countries, you could end-up in jail for not having one during a ‘control’ (that is when goons in uniform paid for by our taxes) stop you to check your id or your car license, insurance or whatever totalitarian metric used to justify constant surveillance and humiliation.

It makes me wish Iranians to strike more of Oracle, Palantir, Amazon or Microsoft these days.

  3. Patrick Wood as long talked about the creeping and then accelerating implementation of the digital prison. He just released a new book on the subject. His point is that it’s a not a matter of when but rather that it’s already in place. It’s not fully turned on in the west but the infrastructure is there and functioning. You can’t escape it at this point. Own nothing is inevitable as the tokenization progresses. It might never be mandatory since that’s clearly a violation of their laws written on paper. But when they tokenize all assets you have to have a way to be independent or you will have no choice. Not moronic prepper independent, but literally so. You will have absolutely no access to gasoline, retail food, energy. You won’t have title to anything anymore when it’s tokenized. Property rights will be a quaint remembrance, just like self ownership and liberty.

    • “You won’t have title to anything anymore when it’s tokenized. Property rights will be a quaint remembrance, just like self ownership and liberty.”

That’s exactly what Israel and the U.S. did in Gaza.

And now Israel’s passed a law to execute the 10,000+ Palestinian prisoners: “Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir calls for the execution of Palestinian prisoners, boasting that he already stripped them of food, yard walks, education, and all amenities, and now wants to take their lives. “As someone who took from them their food, their yard walks, their studies, their amenities, as someone who took everything from them, I also want to take their lives. It is right. It is just.” On the High Court potentially blocking the death penalty law: “Correct the High Court — not the law.” See video at the link.

      • People really don’t get how serious it is. Libertarians are framing the fight as though it’s still against the PATRIOT Act. The rulers of the world are happy we’re distracted letting us handicap ourselves doing that. Every person needs to realize that even the good ones in the wake of Ron Paul and Tom Woods could be compromised. Maybe not overtly controlled opposition but without a doubt self censoring because very nearly no one is chomping at the bit to be a marytr. We all have pressure points in family we love and want to protect, jobs we like, retirement savings to build, comfortable lives. Until the pain becomes intolerable nothing will actually change and TPTB know how to keep the masses fat, dumb and distracted to prevent a real grass root opposition.

        • Hi Anon,

Yes, this is so. It is why I am fortunate – in a way – that I do not have kids. It frees me from being leveraged in that way. Just as being self employed freed me from the leverage that might otherwise have been used to compel me to “mask up.” I am also now at an age where I have developed a Stoic attitude about the future. Let them come, if that is how it’s going to be. I have had a pretty good life so far and they cannot take that away from me. The future can be taken away, of course. But one has a different perspective when there’s less road ahead than there was behind you.

  4. “Without which no one may buy or sell.”

Yet, not *one* member of the Christian clergy, Catholic or Protestant, has said one word about it.

I once went *way* out of my way to sound out a few of them about this. Almost none of them were even consciously aware of it at all, and those who were didn’t see it as a any kind of problem.

They just kept wanting to change the subject to gay marriage and/or abortion. That was all they could get stirred up about.

I was not disagreeing with them about either of those, but that was not what I was there about.

The last time I had to renew my driver’s license, they were pushing the REAL ID pretty hard.

I refused it then. I even said something out loud about the Mark of the Beast/666 and all that.

I told them I didn’t care about commercial air travel since I hadn’t gone near an airport since about 1978 and hoped I never would again.

I told them I didn’t care that without it I couldn’t go onto military bases, or enter federal buildings, but I guess if They want me there they can always drag me there in chains.

    • I’ve seen a few Catholic Priests and Bishops have words against it. I believe Bishop Strickland and Father Rippenberger are among the ones who have, although there’s only been a few.

  5. B-b-b-b-but our star has FIVE points, theirs had SIX. It’s nothing alike.

We can only imagine what Hitler would have been able to do with this tech.

  6. Sieg Heil
Government won’t be happy till they kill you or lock you up but there is still a few outlaws like me no id and will never comply truly live free or die trying.

  7. Carrying a SMART phone isn’t smart, for several reasons, starting with the hefty SMART phone purchase price and the endless monthly bill; an unnecessary added expense which is another tax by any other name, but made necessary by the endless encroachment of government. to “provide services.”

      • Thankfully, this state has not succumbed. We were one of the few that let residents have an alternate, non-REAL ID for their driver’s license. Also, no social slave number, either. You get a state, ID number instead. However, the state legislature (which meets every year) has been controlled by Demon-Rats (Democrats) the last two years, but have a Republican (for what its worth) governor. The legislature has been able to over ride the Gov. veto on spending for education (another post entirely). The one Demon-Rat in the area I am in, they had to back down on one legislation bill he co-sponsored after he had his a** handed to him. So maybe there is hope in some areas?

  8. I recently discovered that every driver’s license pic taken in my state is automatically uploaded to the Feds facial recognition database, I think that’s probably true of every other state in the USSA. You can run but you can’t hide from Big Brother.

    • That’s the catch in REAL ID. It’s a distraction. The back end is where the work is, the data is all there. So it doesn’t matter if you get one or not in terms of what’s happening with your data. If you have any driver license your photo is done. All a REAL ID adds is to link a biometric to your most recent driver photo. If your state is like mine this photo is from when the ID was issued, which in my case was 30 years ago when I moved to a new county. Since then it’s every 10 years renewed online. So I don’t really look that much like it anyway.

What REAL ID is a compliance test, like the clot shots. Like paying your taxes. They are building a profile of what you specifically and people generally are willing to do and what nudges and eventually punishments it takes to do something.

Biometrics are there, too. If you’ve gone to a doctor or dentist since Obamacare they have much of that tagged to your actual lifetime cattle tag, the social security number. If you were dumb enough to believe in getting your concealed carry permits they linked data from the background check your sheriff did, which very likely required a set of fingerprints added to the medical height, weight, eye and hair color. They have everything they need already REAL ID or not in that case to recognize you.

  9. Once the “REAL ID(iocracy)” goes mainstream, “they” will then propose putting CHIPS into our bodies. You know, just in case you decide to leave both your physical AND digital ID (smartphone) at home.

Of course, the sheep will cry “But this is for our safety and security!”. Guess what? A MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISON isn’t “foolproof”! In fact, prisoners manage to either smuggle in, or make weapons (not to mention ESCAPE) all the time. Point is, if someone REALLY wants to do something, then they’re gonna do it, no matter what. And no amount of government intervention is going to change that.

When freedom is outlawed, only the outlaws are free.

    • There is a series of novels from a writer in the UK called Random Skies that are absolutely worth checking out as they read like a nightmare documentary of the future. It’s all there: digital implants, frakenfood, 15 minute corporate run cities, the “Epstein class”, eliminating “useless eaters” and everything else. Some manage to escape to the wilds and start to fight back and that’s what’s great about these books, as dark as they are. No political or religious “saviors” just the hard choice to not submit and sabotage the system whenever possible.

Of course the vulnerability in their evil plans is the energy needed to sustain such a system. For this reason I want to resurrect the “no nukes” movement as the only reason they are being discussed again is to power data centers.

      • Not only will the data centers require energy; the rest of society will too, so as to keep us in the digital panopticon. Without power, they can’t track us, surveill us, or anything else. For that reason, the powers that (shouldn’t) be won’t put the grid at risk.

    • “..“they” will then propose putting CHIPS into our bodies.”

      That’s already been happening.
There was a trial in Sweden, where people could voluntarily have chips implanted under their skin.
For security and convenience, you understand.
      Thousands of sheeple enthusiastically volunteered.
Not sure if any of their growing Muslim contingent did, though. They probably think they won’t need any chips once the country has been turned into a 7th century caliphate.

    • How in the hell did she maneuver her leg through a half-open rear window? And make a perfect landing with hands cuffed behind her?

      Gymnast of the year! 🙂

      • I also want to know who was taking the video while she was doing that. Kudos to whoever for not telling the cops.

  10. Martin Armstrong posted a story a few days ago of a grandmother who was falsely imprisoned thanks to an AI biometrics fail. Facial recognition software identified her as a suspect in a bank fraud case in a state she never even visited. If such software messed up and an innocent woman was imprisoned for a crime in a state she never even visited, what else could go wrong with facial recognition software, in addition to digital ID, flock “safety” cameras, biometrics, and the REAL ID?

    https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/armstrongeconomics101/ai-computers/grandmother-falsely-imprisoned-thanks-to-ai-biometrics-fail/

      • Tragic isn’t it Shadow? And we’re to belieeeeeeeeeeve that AI, biometrics, facial recognition software, etc. is “Infallible”. What next, Minority Report style “Future Crime Prediction” technology?

        • “What next, Minority Report style “Future Crime Prediction” technology?”

That…will literally be the death of humanity. We will ALL be exterminated, “for our own protection”!

        • AI can also make it possible to show you on security video or photos as the criminal.

Not that the government would ever falsify evidence to convict you.

          • Oh no, of course not, Dan. Our beloved “leaders” are soooo trustworthy (gag). Yeah, Minority Report is coming. Who would have thought such movies would portend our future. Does that mean a Red Dawn is coming, as well?

    • It happened in North Dakota, they kidnapped and held her for 18 months without a trial, and still haven’t apologized or admitted screwing up. In a state which couldn’t be more Republican.

Of course, there is a counter example right next door in Communisota which has been run by the hammer and sickle party for a very long time. Given the opportunity, most people run towards the ND side.

  11. According to the Virginia DMV: “Your Virginia Mobile ID is a companion to your physical ID, and you’ll still need to carry a physical ID with you.”

In other words it’s only a “convenience” and I’d uninstall it myself and have never let it have been installed. As I don’t use a smart phone this is a little easier for me. 🙂

I believe you’re correct Eric in that it may be potentially tracking you. At this point your options include a Craigslist smart phone with it installed and left turned off in a Faraday case or uninstall it from your phone (best option).

Since there’s a lot of smart people out there, has anyone looked at the underlying code in the app to see what it is all doing, recording and transmitting? Can its network access be blocked in the firewall?

All that said, I’ve been saying for years that people should buy all the stuff they want or need that GovCo shouldn’t know you have. To put it bluntly, I mean everything from cases of pork and beans to Warsaw Pact spam cans, medical supplies, even squeaky toys for the dog. GovCo shouldn’t know about anything you buy as it’s outside of their purview and violates your rights as a Free Citizen.

Here’s hoping everyone has a Happy Easter.

    • Unless you can physically remove the battery, a phone is never really “off” as far as the panopticon is concerned.

As for the effectiveness of the Faraday cage, most “smart” phones made within the last dozen years have “compass” and “level” apps which indicate the presence of sensors for the Earth’s magnetic field and acceleration (including due to gravity), neither of which lose effectiveness inside a Faraday cage.

Access to those sensors does not require special permission from the user, and, used in combination with occasional GPS access, track the device location even if inside a Faraday cage.

Do the real ID apps ask for permission to access location?

      • Unless you can physically remove the battery, a phone is never really “off” as far as the panopticon is concerned.

And even if you could, an iPhone becomes a Bluetooth LE air tag when off. The Bluetooth LE can run for a year without power.

  12. How convenient that Smart Phones are easy to hack. Whoops, there goes your identity, and everything connected to it. ON that note, Eric, I read this article, detailing the proposed us paying taxes based on the weight of our vehicles (Paying by the pound). EV’s and full-sized vehicles would really get hit with this. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/drivers-may-soon-pay-taxes-based-on-how-much-their-car-weighs/ar-AA20a1wX?ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=1a153063c55844b8b0392bdcef34cdf3&ei=9

    • Kind of makes sense, weight corresponds directly to how much wear and tear and structural degradation a road gets. If there were any sense in government (there isnt) motorcycles and cars under 2000 lbs or so wouldn’t be licensed or require one to drive.

  13. >The punishments – plural – include not being allowed to travel by air
    Not quite, as yet.
AFAIK, a current U.S. Passport is considered “real” enough to allow boarding a commercial aircraft in the U.S. My CDL is an “ordinary” DL, not a “Real ID”. Does that make my DL a “fake” ID? So, I will be presenting my current U.S. Passport to TSA @ ONT on 9 April for passage on AA to DFW. It had better work.

    • Adi,

Also, you can pay a $45 penalty to use an old-school, non-REAL ID document such as your CDL.

This officially-sanctioned workaround demonstrates that REAL ID has nothing to do with the actual security of air travel. REAL ID is fake and gay security theater, imposed by a fake and gay government.

Who did 9/11? You know who.

    • Hey Guys: The overarching requirement for flying is that the ID you use to pass Security at the airport (i.e. TSA guys checking) has to be one issued by the federal government themselves. A US passport is the most common example. You can also use your CAC card if you have one of those. The Real ID from state DMV’s is really just an imprimatur from the federal government. To mean they will accept state-issued ID’s with their stamp of approval.

      • This. The Real ID ™ is a feral government thing which they have zero authority to require of state citizens. Which is why it is still possible to resist and refuse taking that mark.

  14. ‘When you download the Virginia Mobile ID, you’re choosing to set up a digital companion.

I would immediately file a FOIA request, demanding that the state reveal whether Virginia’s mobile ID taps into the cell phone’s geolocation function. I strongly suspect that it does.

Shrink: ‘This digital companion of yours — is it in the room with us now?’

    • They claim it doesn’t track your location:

Will the app track my location?

‘No. There are no location or tracking services associated with Virginia Mobile ID.’

      https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/licenses-ids/mobile-id/faq

Do you believe them? Why would Spanbergerarians who plan to violate the Second Amendment to grab your guns tell the truth about anything else?

It reminds me of consulting a high-powered Washington DC lawyer about the security of confidential corporate records which we were obliged by a subpoena to turn over to a Congressional committee.

‘What protection do we have against the committee leaking our data to competitors?’ I asked.

Honor among thieves‘ was the lawyer’s three-word answer. No joke.

      • Morning and Happy Easter Jim.

I’ve found that a few seconds in a microwave oven can kill RFID chips in physical ID’s. Watch through the window when you turn it on and it will flash when it gets destroyed. Research it to verify this as there may be newer types in use that may survive microwaves.

As for the app, nothing is secure when smart and curious people or machines turn their curiosity onto it.
