Trump says he is “willing to risk the giving up of my Rights and Privileges as a Citizen for our Great Military and Country!”

Well, fine. Let him give them up. The issue is the rest of us being made to give them up, which is what the president of the United States – who some may remember took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution (and the rights enumerated therein) – is hectoring the rest of us to agree we must accept.

Because Patriotism, basically.

Is this America’s Enabling Act Moment? Does anyone remember what the reference refers to? In 1933 – shortly after becoming the new chancellor of Germany, the man known to history as Der Fuhrer sought and got the Enabling Act, the Gesetz zur Behebung der Not von Volk und Reich in German and Law to Remedy the Distress of People and Reich in English. It basically shitcanned Germans’ civil liberties – their rights under what had been the law – Because Patriotism.

Der Fuhrer ranted that the state must be given more power to  . . . remedy the distress of the people. Trump says it is necessary to “to protect our Troops overseas, as well as our people here at home.” The secret FISA courts must be empowered to shitcan due process, spy on American citizens without meaningful restraint.

Ja, naturlich!

This arrives on the heels of Trump’s latest explosion directed at the Iranians, whom he once again promises to end if they continue to be uncooperative. It has the smack of Der Fuhrer’s rants about the outrages perpetrated by the perfidious Poles that eventually led to Poland being ended, at least for awhile. 

More and more MAGA is divesting itself of Trump – because Trump has divested himself of MAGA. The same Trump that now demands we hand over our Rights and Privileges to creepy star chamber courts that can pretty much do anything they like to anyone they like – Because Patriotism – are the very same courts the very same Trump once excoriated for abusing his Rights and Privileges.

That was back in 2024 – before he got re-elected. Now safely re-elected, he has done a parking brake 180 on that and so many other things it has become difficult to keep track of them.  But one thing remains the same. Trump demands kicked-dog submission from his followers – and many are willing to roll over on their backs and pee themselves.

It’s contemptible – but not without precedent. There’s an S&M element to what remains of MAGA, just as there was in Germany, under ‘Dolf. The Fuhrer was into degrading his followers – and many of them were into being degraded, if it brought them a pat on the head from the leader.

There are still people – I know a few such – who maintain that this is all part of an elaborate plan designed to restore freedom to the people. To show them not to trust the government, if you can believe it. I have a friend who told me he thinks the recent, infamous Trump-Jesus image was really intended to get people who might otherwise worship Trump to not worship Trump. It is all for the greater good, you see.

  7. No U.S. President is more dangerous, than the one serving his second term in Office. He does not have to pretend nice to get re-elected, for that is not an issue. There is no need for him to impress anyone, or care if what he is doing is pissing off half the country. The second term for any president is when voters start seeing their president in his true colours. Of course he is ready to give up OUR rights for a cause, because he will still have his when it is all said and done.

      I’m out. As in, I’m done voting. I’ve explained why. But, to recap: I tire of being a party to my own destruction via voting to affirm the legitimacy of a system I consider to be illegitimate. If enough of us stop voting, the system can no longer maintain the fig leaf of legitimacy. I realize, of course, that most people will still vote because they think as I once thought – that it is a form of damage control and the analogy isn’t wrong. But the thing is, the damage isn’t prevented. It just takes a little longer to elaborate. I’m done Voting Harder – or at all. I know some will see this as defeatist and perhaps something worse. So be it. At least my hands will be clean.

    Trump is completing the final foreign takeover of the USA by Israel and Jewish interests. He is replacing REAL USA military personnel with yes-men military personnel who are loyal to Israel, not the USA and have mossad ties so that the coup by Israel and Jewish interests can finally take place.
    ICE, FBI, CIA, ATF and other federal letter agencies have already been compromised and taken over by Israeli and Jewish interests. All of these federal letter agencies have offices in Israel as well as sending their personnel to Israel to see how it’s done. Most, if not all top-level personnel in these agencies are Israelis (mossad) themselves and hold command positions within these agencies.
    Currently, ICE personnel receive training in Israel military tactics and wear uniforms and face coverings identical to that of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). This all is by design.

    There is only one solution:
    We the American people must recognize that there is a foreign enemy within that must be identified and dealt with…by any means necessary.
    It’s long overdue to take the gloves off.
    Life in the USA for ALL Israeli assets (those who hold Israeli passports) will need to be made uncomfortable with said assets being identified, called out, marginalized, shunned and eventually deported. This should include all Christian evangelical organizations and members who support israel.
    Any Jew (or evangelical Christian supporter) who has served in Israel’s military must forfeit his or her USA citizenship and must be immediately deported without exception.
    ALL federal, state, and local government agencies and personnel must be thoroughly vetted and purged of all Israeli assets and supporters without exception.
    ALL synagogues and yeshivas within the USA must be thoroughly investigated for terrorist ties, those identified as such must be shutdown with assets recovered to be used to rebuild Palestine. Yes, this includes the jewish propaganda freak shows known as holocaust museums which illegally constitute a state-supported religion.
    As Judaism itself is a foreign political system disguised as a religion, tax breaks for ALL Jewish organizations presently receiving them must be abolished. ALL Jewish organizations within the USA are to be considered agents of a foreign government–Israel–until proven otherwise.
    ALL dual citizenship must be outlawed within the USA with current dual passport holders within the USA being required to relinquish foreign citizenship and passports within 30 days under severe penalty of law.
    ALL holders of any federal, state or local public office who hold dual citizenship and / or foreign passports must be summarily removed from office immediately without exception.

  14. It has been my personal experience that most people of his age tend to exhibit unmistakable mental degradation. Once somewhat well spoken and witty, he now types and speaks in the fashion of a grade-schooler. I think this is nature’s way of easing us into end of life. For most, it’s impact hits hardest on family members. For him, it hits the entire world. No man should be in a position of such power and influence, in any mental state.

    I’d tout my unblemished record of non-voting, but that would be in poor taste under these circumstances.

      That is a problem with many Americans today, be they Democrat or Republican. They’re ok with tyranny when it’s someone THEY voted for doing it. For example, many Democrat voters CHEERED when Joe Biden engaged in COVID tyranny such as imposing face diaper mandates or mandates for MILLIONS of American workers to take an experimental COVID vaxx. Under Israeli rule, Christians in Israel and the West Bank have suffered increasing attacks, including spitting on clergy, physical harassment and the vandalism and destruction of churches, cemeteries and other Christian symbols.         • Here is an excellent opportunity for ALL Jewish patriots who reside within the continental United States of America to “step up to the plate” and support their home country—Israel.
          The “leader” of Israel’s military, the IDF is now complaining that the Israeli military is running out of personnel—volunteers, conscripts and reservists.
          This is a golden opportunity for ALL Jewish patriots who presently live in the USA and are loyal to Israel over the USA to be conscripted and serve in Israel’s military forces.
          The USA Congress (Knesset West) should pass the “Israel Defense Forces Conscription Act of 2026” which would require ALL Jews within the borders of the USA to register with the “Israel Selective Service System” pending an much-needed inevitable future draft.
          USA military aircraft should be used to transport Jewish conscripts presently residing in the USA to Tel Aviv for training and induction in to the IDF.
          This would have the result of getting Israel-supporting Jewish patriots who live in the USA to “put their money where their mouths are” and support their home country–Israel.
          Please notice that I did not use the term “American Jews” as Jewish loyalty and patriotism is to Judaism and Israel first; any true loyalty to the USA being either secondary or nonexistent.

To give you an idea of how confusing all these security and surveillance laws are here’s an example I came across; if you are located within the U.S.A. they are not “supposed” to monitor your internet traffic since you would have a U.S. IP address but if you use a VPN and it shows a foreign IP address they can monitor you but doesn’t that mean a foreigner using a VPN with a U.S. IP address isn’t “supposed” to be monitored because he is “located” within the U.S.A.?

    It made me scratch my head but I suspect they monitor everything you do and don’t care whether you know about it or not.

    So instead you try using TOR, for fun fire up TOR and then go to https://dnsleaktest.com/ and run the extended test and see how many times Google shows up as the ISP.

    We’re living in a Panopticon now and very few people seem to notice or care. When the President makes a mockery of the Constitution no good will come of it but don’t expect the next administration to roll anything back either. 🙁

    • It’s easiest, safest, and smartest to assume they’re always watching. However, unless you’re specifically planning some act of violence it is still covered by the fig leaf of the bill of rights. What is interesting to me is the mockingbird killers (mass murderers) always seem to have an obvious online presence after the fact, implying the surveillance is ineffective, or that they are allowed and encouraged to do their evil.

    • Guarding a TOR exit point and its DNS characteristics is a well known issue.

      If too many TOR exits use Google then Google could in theory start to recognize patterns. This is what they do, they always have, so you have to assume that is happening.

      The IP address Google would see is the exit node, not yours. It’s still anonymous even if the node is using Google directly or as a cache source. Even if the exit leaks TOR will announce your guard (entry) point as the IP.

      A case can be made that blending in is preferred over standing out. You ultimately want your traffic to be indistinguishable from the mass of other traffic and not individually identifiable. Best case is the DNS is local on the same machine or subnet as the exit node. Using a unique DNS server can itself be an identifier, so a safe Google search local to the exit node’s geolocation might next best compared to a known privacy one.

      The issue isn’t using Google as much as you trust the exit node. None of this will matter if the nodes you use are the one who deanonymizes you. The TOR network can’t know which exit nodes are friendly or foes. If you don’t want Google DNS then have your browser build a new TOR circuit with a different exit node.
