I have noticed a thing ever since the government “shutdown” began. The sky – in my area, at least – is all-of-a-sudden not streaked with white lines, some of them criss-crossing in a kind of checkerboard pattern.
These chemtrails – if that’s what they actually are – have entirely disappeared. The sky is blue again.
Now, maybe it’s just a coincidence. Maybe it’s the time of year. Perhaps – it being Fall – atmospheric conditions are such that they are not conducive to the formation and persistence of these white streaks I used to see criss-crossing the sky. Maybe commercial air traffic is less, on account of the “shutdown” (I bracket the word in air fingers quote marks to mock the fatuity of the term; the government is “shut-down” like Dracula sleeping in his coffin is dead).
But maybe it is something else. Maybe – for reasons not-yet-known – they have decided to stop spraying whatever it was they were spraying in the sky. Some suspect that what was being sprayed included various misted chemicals designed to (per Bill Gates’ idea) address “climate change” by blocking the solar energy, so as to reduce rising temperatures here on Earth. A more sinister take on this is that Gates, et al are trying to lower the temperature on Earth, so as to induce crop failure and thereby, famine. Gates, et al are on record stating their depopulationist urges (which of course do not include depopulating themselves or their families).
It is nice seeing blue skies again. I wonder, though, for how much longer.

A search on Grokipedia for ‘Geoengineering’ includes links for ‘Chemtrails’ and ‘Stratospheric aerosol injection’, all of which are surprisingly detailed and almost balanced entries.
The major deciding factor seems to rely on limited surveys and ‘consensus science’ to establish facts. (See: the Gokipedia ‘Chemtrail’ entry.)

How come jets didn’t have “visible exhaust” (Contrails) prior to 2001? Commercial jets don’t seem to have that problem; only Uncle Sam’s seem to make a visible exhaust; and not contrails, but CHEMtrails.
Ernie is correct, the chemtrails theory is pure hokum. How easy would it be for an employee of one of the major airliners to prove that they are allowing their jets to be used to spray insalubrious chemicals over one and all? They could be sued into oblivion if it was discovered and proven (as it almost certainly would have been by now). Secondly, why would the powers-that-be allow themselves and their families to be sprayed by said dangerous chemicals? “Oh, they all take special drugs to protect themselves from the chemtrails,” says the paranoid schizophrenic crowd. This morning the sky here is clear & blue, where usually we see 25 jets every 15 minutes, I now see none. Where have they gone?

The key thing is, not only is there an absence of trails, do you see any jets?

I’m in the Phoenix area tonight, Helot, and I can see a jet coming down about every minute or so. So yes, they’re still flying.
I failed to express the idea well.
Frequently, in the past, in a span of 15 minutes, I could count 25 jets laying down their parallel trails. It went that way all day long.
Today, I see one or two, here & there. No trails.
What happened to the other 23 jets? …Every 15 minutes.

And, I’m not seeing those jets which would fly so low a person could easily make out the shape of the wings.
Also, a snapshot in time: while watching the Sunset this evening with clear skies, where normally I see A TON of jets & trails. … I saw none.

Jet exhaust can indeed form white trails, these dissipate quickly. However, these are a different animal. Here in central WA few trees, few clouds so we get a “big sky” view most of the time. Classic chemtrail buildout – I was westbound I90 leaving Spokane on the scooter. Just leaving the trees I start seeing the cross pattern from several planes, this was in a beautiful clear deep blue morning sky. The Commander was on back, I told her to watch, in about 30 – 40 minutes the blue sky will get hazy and stay that way for our 3 hour ride home. Yep, like clockwork came the haze lasted all day.
I grew up in the “jet age”. Contrails yes, ‘60s as a kid always liked to see jets overhead. Follow the length of the contrail to see where they came from/headed, watch the contrail disappear. And yes Virginia there were early turbofans, then the high bypass ratio fanjet engines 747 (Pratt & Whitney JT9D) an early example. But, no hazy sky until the lingering trails in the late ‘80s and on. Ain’t the same ‘trail.
Respectfully, why would contrails necessarily dissipate quickly? They might, they might not, depending on all the variables of temperature, relative humidity, wind and altitude.
It is and always has been normal for the sky to get hazier after a clear morning, almost always as a result of rising humidity near the ground. And it usually stays until a front comes or the sun goes down, lowering temperatures and or increasing winds.
Contrails are condensed water frozen into ice crystals. They either sublimate back into water vapor or condenses into rain as they fall to the Earth. You do get a fog when you open your freezer but as the ice fog warms your kitchen doesn’t get hazy.
You can generally tell a contrail from a chemtrail by looking at the formation. Condensation trails are flash freezing of the water vapor so they exit the jet at very high temperature and will remain clear for a split second. So there will be a clear gap between the exhaust and contrail. If the white fog starts immediately at the exit of the source it’s not water turning to ice but a chemical, thus chemtrail.
Also you can tell, it’s very nearly impossible for contrails to form on wing or fuselage, the air at altitude is just too dry for that to happen. So if the trail isn’t forming directly the engine or starts as a single stream when the aircraft is multi-engine then it cannot be contrails.
Don’t let the politically-motivated scientists gaslight you. For the first decades of high altitude capable jets contrails were not chemtrails. They’ve actually had to invent 11 new cloud names in 2017 to explain them because prior to about 1992, when the geo-engineering really took hold, these weird clouds did not exist. The concept was first seriously considered when the National Academies of Science published “Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming” in 1992.

But the grants really didn’t start in any volume util 2007, 2008 or so. It’s really only been the last couple of years that the constantly hazy skies have occurred, though. Here in the inter-mountain west it’s really noticeable and that’s because it again looks normal, like I remember from my childhood. Very clear bluebird skies.

One big conspiracy theory is that NASA took images of 3i/Atlas when it went by Mars, with the orbiting Mars HiRise telescope – but NASA has not released the images. The government was shutdown the day before this object was photographed.
Why 3i/Atlas is concerning, it has traveled a very long distance yet comes through our solar system perfectly aligned to scout out the 3 habitable planets.

Please see my TLDR response below. The high bypass turbofan is quite capable of leaving visible exhaust under many conditions. Please note the weasel words “nearly” incapable, and “most extreme circumstances” and respectfully consider whether modern aircraft operate routinely in “most extreme circumstances” like -80F temperatures, 30-60000 foot altitudes, and consequently in thin, dry air.

A buddy of mine worked on the crew of a C-13O refueling tanker about the same time I was in the military. Whenever discussing the issue with him I got the same answer, “Nothing to see here, just high altitude water vapor.” OK, fair enough. Why then can I sit in my backyard early in the morning and watch myriad of planes overhead on a chill day, most have a ‘trail’ that cones out for a bit then quickly disappears, while others leave a widening gyre of something looking like diseased snot that stretches the entire length of the sky. Then it takes hours to slowly dissipate? My buddy would always avoid this question and expect me to defer to his ‘expertness’ since he’d flown on these planes and spent time in the AirForce. I really have no problem doing that, I just want the question answered. Still have never heard a rational explanation that doesn’t require me to suspend disbelief in what I can clearly see with my own eyes.
As to motive, I hope you acknowledge Bill Gates has shown his ill intent to those of sitting in the cheap seats. Agree he and his friends probably laugh their asses off at us. But their laughter is probably due more to their amazment they get away with so much and we do nothing. Oh, no, I heartily agree that the mosquito and quackcine programs are real and incredibly dangerous. As to contrails, please consider there are many kinds of jet.
Turbojets are more turbine systems and likely make the most and longest lasting contrails. They are bona fide high performance engines, a bit thirsty for fuel, thus mostly used by the military. They fly high and fast, where cold thin air will really condense the water.
Turbofans add a contained propeller section to the front so they pump a lot more cool air out the back, diluting and cooling the exhaust and giving better fuel economy and making smaller, more diluted/diffused contrails. They are the most common in passenger and cargo use.
Turboprops are turbine driven propellers, noisy but very efficient and reliable at lower speeds, used in commuter aircraft. They fly lower and probably leave minimal visible exhaust.
Exotics like ramjets and scramjets are basically open ended rockets relying on the extreme speeds they fly at to push more air into the intake than the exhaust can push back, these are atmospheric missile powerplants.
Piston engines generally don’t leave visible exhaust, exceptions like the B-29 Stratofortress of WW2 and Hiroshima fame were very high flying.
So I just don’t buy the chemtrail theory, its not possible to make and dump enough aerosol into the sky to make a difference except very locally. The logistics would be insane, we would have pictures of tank farms all over the country from citizen journalists. You could spray nerve gas at 40000 feet and likely do no harm (but I don’t want to try it).
There are conspiracies galore which are actual, without this one.

To have enough of whatever aerosol you’re spraying you would need a good supply of the stuff. So logically there would have to be tanks of it at airports or air bases. Or if it were a solid nano particle thing there would still have to be storage facilities and dispensing mechanisms for it.
They should be discoverable. And someone should have seen something other than vapor trails in the skies.

IIRC you have some experience with aviation/flying planes. You provided good info about the differences of engines. So I can see where these differences could cause different visible effects. The phenomena, as far as I can tell is local, any one who would say otherwise loses a little credibility imo. When I notice it, its never more than the 5O or so miles of sky I can see. But at times I’ve seen a tic tock pattern which is what caught my attention to begin with. No way thats normal. And the randomness of it begs more questions. Since I have so little trust for any authority and institution, it makes it easier to believe the worst. I’m going to pay better attention and document what I see going forward.
I had a few semesters of aerospace engineering and I am a private pilot.
And if it’s happening in a localized area that is more credible than it being widespread.
And I am equally suspicious, knowing the germ experiments in San Francisco and the nerve gas release/coverup in Utah, and with my family having been nuclear Guinea pigs (Dad was on a USN ship a few miles offshore when they tested an H bomb on Christmas Island, and we’ve had a lot of birth defects in the family since).
So it’s not like I dismiss it out of hand, but the logistics of a “chem trail” make me a non believer.

It’s been a rather dramatic change in my area; blue skies with none of the streaks that were common just a few weeks ago. I did see a high flying jet yesterday while I was out in the field and it did leave a “tail” – but it diffused quickly and then was gone. The onesI was seeing a few weeks ago did not dissipate. Rather they expanded and formed “line clouds.” I am just reporting a phenomenon – not saying I know what it is!
Hi, Eric. I would suggest that atmospheric conditions change with seasons and by definition with weather patterns. But I could be wrong, climate is far too complex to predict accurately, and even weather is a very complex subject where prognostications lose accuracy by the minute.
But maybe if we’re really lucky the Chinese ARE fumigating DC.

It just seemed interesting to me in that I had gotten used to seeing these criss-cross lines in the sky; they were a common sight until about three weeks ago when it occurred to me that the skies were blue again. It’s maybe just a normal pattern. I wish I’d kept better/more objective track of things.

Ernie, It’s not a theory. There are patents for geo engineering which say that can spray particulate matter in the atmosphere to block the sun. So, when you ask about chemtrails they can deny it because the actual term is solar radiation management.
There are such patents, and it has been done. But it is a local temporary thing, how can you put enough stuff in the atmosphere to matter?
The short answer is, you can’t. The atmosphere is self cleaning, if you want something aerosolized be it liquid or solid, you have to keep applying it.
Which takes a lot of stuff, tank farms with hundreds of thousands of gallons of it.

I too have noticed this in my area. Clear, bright blue skies, a noticeable difference indeed. For the doubters, they have admitted that they are doing it. They are seeding clouds to “slow climate change”. Do some research into what compounds they use to do this. Infuriating.

There were times this past summer that I was outside on sunny days, and it looked like it does when there is a partial eclipse. A little too dark for a sunny summer day.
