The war we all knew was coming that almost no one except the secular religious maniacs – Zionists and their shills – wanted is on. Iran, which hasn’t attacked any other country, is under attack by this country and that other country that has acquired operational control over this country.
Iranians are dead and more will be, which is no trivial thing if you are troubled by the killing – the murder – of other people by agents who claim to be acting on your behalf, that you were compelled to finance via the money they take from you to build bombs and such to kill other people with. It makes you complicit without your consent, which is doubly awful because what can you do about it?
Americans may be dead as I type this also. Americans may wonder why it is that they are dying in the Middle East (again) for reasons that have nothing to do with their own interests. It is a question more Americans appear to be asking than ever before. Americans, by and large, did not want this war. Yet they are now at war. It is an incredible thing. It is something like – but something worse than – finding yourself in a bar fight because some other guy you don’t even know got into a fight with some other guy you don’t know over some woman you don’t know.
This fight is existential for all three combatants.
The Iranians know that if they lose, Iran becomes something like the Gimp in Pulp Fiction. No longer a state, at any rate, in any meaningful sense. They become the plaything of the creatures that run the state of Israel – who are the same creatures who run the United States. Maybe they’ll get the son of the Shah as their puppet leader. What they’ll have lost is everything. This is understood and it is why the fight back will likely be all-out. Ask yourself what you’d do if faced with a similar fight. Would you use anything you had to hurt and hopefully maim and kill your attacker? Of course you would.
Of course they will, too.
The creatures who are responsible for this war – “Netanyahu” is their current leader – know that if Iran manages to ward off the blows and survive the attack, it will be a humiliation for them that they might not be able to survive, politically. This is why the creatures are likely to resort to the most extreme measures – including the use of the nuclear weapons they possess in defiance of the “international law” they sometimes say other states are bound by, when it serves the interests of these creatures. Iran is the stumbling block in the way of Greater Israel. The creature of these creatures – Mike Huckabee – admitted to Tucker Carlson that it would be “fine” if these creatures seized most of the Middle east, from the Nile to the Euphrates.

For decades, American schoolkids have been lectured about the evil Germans and their demands for more of other people’s lands – lebensraum for the greater German Reich. But the same thing is warranted when it is done by another self-chosen people. If Iran doesn’t fall, America will look ridiculous as well as evil, having engaged in an unprovoked (undeclared by Congress) war – exactly the thing that defined the crime for which the men who launched the war against Poland (for openers) back in 1939 were later tried, found guilty and hanged. That is not likely to happen, of course – because Iran lacks the power to conquer America and set up a victor’s justice show trial. But the point has been made that we are no longer any different than them. It is not a good feeling.
America cannot afford to look ridiculous, because there are other countries – China and Russia – who are watching. If Iran humbles the mighty American armada, it will be clear to China and Russia they could humble it more.
Americans, meanwhile, probably ought to be going out to get as much gasoline as they can right now – before the cost of a gallon sails to twice or three times what it was on Friday, the day before the war began.

I’m listening to the Tucker Carlson/ Mike Huckabee interview currently and the U.S. ambassador sounds more like the Israeli ambassador to me.
I highly suspect that if the war goes hot that the amount of sabotage that happens here will be mind blowing. I remember reading that if just a couple hundred of those very large transformers experience a very sudden high speed related failure the entire electrical grid would go down. How much do you want to bet a couple thousand transformers will suddenly fail all at once if war breaks out?

Modern bombing strategy involves taking out critical infrastructure first. So right away the lights go out. Some of those large transformers are only made in China and are almost always custom built. It can take months to get one delivered.

Maybe, if you’ve got some solar and batteries or a generator and access to fuel, you’ll have a nice third-world power budget. 18th century living might not be too bad if you were prepared to do it. I’ve got a wood stove, axes, house on a gravity flow septic system, close to water, stocked up on essentials but based on where I live the golden horde would overrun me in no time flat. The difference between say Vietnam or Iraq compared to today’s war against Iran is that we know for certain it’s all bullshit. It would have difficult to have known this in the 60s or the 90s.

I had seen 30% support in a Quinippiac poll, but that was the top of the range. It may be that Trump has just handed a big win to the Ds for congress. Not that anything will change.
