This morning – Saturday, March 21 – the price of crude is reportedly about $113 per barrel, which is likely to push the cost of the War Tax we’re all paying at the pump into the triple digits (over one dollar per gallon) by next week sometime. That’s about $720 per year, in case you wanted to know ($1 extra per gallon equals $15 more to fill up a typical car’s 15 gallon tank; times four equals $60 per months times twelve equals $720 for the year).
Trump says he’s “not worried” about the War Tax but he certainly seems to be. According to news reports, he is now “considering” removing the sanctions on Iranian oil and “winding down” the war.
It smacks of losing the war, does it not?
If the war were going well, does anyone believe Trump would be saying or “considering” doing either of these things? It’s humiliating. For Trump, that is.
The problem for Trump – and for us – is that it is up to the winning side to determine when it is time to “wind down” the war. Trump’s hand is weak because the Iranians seem to be holding the winning hand. The “regime” – as the regime that runs this country likes to style the governments of other countries it wishes to topple – has not toppled, as apparently had been expected to happen within days of the beginning of Operation Epstein Evasion. Trump apparently believed it would be another easy decapitation operation and he would be able to enjoy a Triumph a la the victorious Roman emperors of antiquity.
This has not happened. It is not likely to happen.
The triumph – so far – has been entirely Iran’s. The Iranians have withstood the combined assault of Our Greatest Ally and just about everything that this country’s military could throw into the mix shy of actually nuking Tehran. They are like Rocky standing up to Ivan Drago – the much favored opponent who just couldn’t land that knockout punch.
The Iranians must know they are winning, too. Trump’s falling-on-deaf-ears pleas for other nations to help him re-open the Strait of Hormuz is equivalent to him trying to back out of the ring before he gets hit with the knockout punch.
The Iranians have zero incentive to give Trump – and the national socialist regime that styles itself “Israel” – the win they so desperately need in order to save face. They know that they have not only embarrassed Trump personally but are hurting the United States and “Israel.” They are, in other words, exacting justice – from their point of view. It is arguably a legitimate point-of- view. Most people who have a sense of justice will probably agree that anyone who gets attacked – especially sneak attacked – has every right to defend himself. The cries of the “Israelis” all over Xcrement and elsewhere about the damage done by Iranian vengeance weapons ring hollow. Few normal people have sympathy for the bully who cries out after his victim kicks him in the nuts.
The Iranians are not stupid people.
The difficulty – for them – has been the same difficulty most of us have, which is understanding what we’re up against. The normal brain does not work like the brains of sociopaths and psychopaths. It does not “get” that there are people who have neither empathy nor sympathy; who only care about advantage and will do anything to get it. The Iranians believed that negotiating with Trump’s emissaries was actually a negotiation rather than a window dressing. They could not conceive that Trump was going to just kill their religious leader – as well as his grand-daughter and a bunch of girls whose lives meant nothing to Trump or his “Israeli” analogs.
Now, they know what they are dealing with. This fact ought to sober us up about the prospects of this war “winding down” anytime soon. The Iranians understand that if they agree to some sort of “peace” now, it will assure they’ll lose the next war, which will come as soon as the arsenals can be restocked. One hopes they understand this, at any rate – and not just for their sake (which is also our sake because these wars are in no one’s interests except “Israel’s”).
There is a great scene in the great movie, A Bronx Tale, that lays out where we stand right now vis-a-vis Iran.
They are in the catbird seat now. They may have already succeeded in driving America’s military – which serves the interests of “Israel” – out of the Middle East and that would be a blessing for America. Colonel MacGregor agrees with this.
Meanwhile, expect the War Tax to wax. And not just at the pump. No matter what desperate measures Trump resorts to, the War Tax is going to be paid – and not just at the pump. It’s going to get more expensive to eat and to heat and to cool and many other things besides. All of the foregoing may be deliberate, a prequel to the crashing of the dollar in order to usher in the digitized technocracy Trump was probably installed to usher in.
But – just maybe – it will flush him down the toilet of history, too. The tax he may be forced to pay being remembered as something like a spray-tanned Publius Quinctilius Varus.

It says a lot when a fuel distributor thinks they need to electrify transportation when there is insufficient power generation to actually do it. Sadly the same thing will be pushed even harder here. Of note EV sales in Asia are apparently rising again.
As a great deal of the oil processed is from Canada and Mexico instead of from the Middle East and U.S. oil is light sweet crude oil exported to Europe it’s kind of hard to understand why gas prices are going up so fast considering the smaller quantities imported from the Middle East. Either way the increase in diesel fuel prices will definitely have an effect on commodity and retail prices.
Luckily the Israeli’s will be grateful for our sacrifices. Not.

Dynamically varying prices are characteristic of a market. Whereas electricity rates stair-stepping up each year signify a regulated monopoly.

Did you see the WSJ article about Eloon rolling out EV semitrailers? Supposedly have a 300 mile range and can recharge four times faster than a regular EV car, whatever number that’s supposed to be. Nowhere does it mention how much the battery weighs, but does admit they cost twice as much as a regular (diesel) semi. Of course they’re being introduced in Commiefornia and are presently subsidized by some mysterious “foundation” because of course you have to chum the water before bringing out the net.
This isn’t so much a war against Iran as it is against the Middle Class (productive class) citizens of the U.S. Who is paying for this war? The MC via fakeflation. The psychopaths in charge apparently think the longer the war continues, the faster Agenda 2030 gets here. I suspect they don’t even mind “losing” to Iran as long as they can crush the MC with rising prices and usher in full-fledged Communism in America.
And yet there are people who think that putting Democrats back in control of BOTH the House and Senate are the answer to the problems we’re facing, but as many people have warned for years, there’s a UNIPARTY in DC that are pushing the same things though in different ways. The Democrat and Republican parties merely put on a show of fighting each other in the corrupt area known as Washington, DC. Besides, we’ve already experienced how awful it got with Democrats in control of BOTH the House and Senate, AND the White House. And people also need to realize how true the adage “No matter who you vote for, you get John McCain.” seems to ring, as every single president in my adult lifetime has started or been involved in at least ONE war.
