Trump is now saying, release the files – because has to say it now. It had gotten too politically untenable for him to say otherwise, especially after saying Marjorie Taylor Greene is a “traitor” for voting to release them.
Of course, this does not mean they will be released. Trump could do that – by executive order – but interestingly has not done that. This way, he can claim to be be in favor (now) of releasing the files but leaving it up to Congress/the bureaucracy to actually do the releasing. If they do don’t, then Trump can say: Well, I wanted the files released but they didn’t release the files – and walk away from the mess (he hopes).
Or, the files – really just reams of documents and such – could be released but heavily redacted; i.e., most of the pages blacked out. This happened with the JFK files, if anyone remembers. “National security” and all – even though everyone who was actually or might have been involved is dead now.
But redacted files aren’t going to fly. If anything, the release of more blacked out pages will only make things worse for Trump and it is all his fault. He was the one who made a big campaign deal about the files and then – once elected – acted as if they weren’t a big deal, which of course made everyone suspect they are. Massie and Greene will not relent if all we get are redacated pages.
And if there is any fire where there’s been a lot of smoke, Trump is in even worse trouble than he already finds himself in.
It’s likely to be an interesting holiday season.

I heard that too. In other words, it’s rubbish.
All the names we are going to get are those who are not actually relevant anymore like Larry Summers. The only “big fish” I can see be throw out is Bill Clinton, who hasn’t had any actual power in 25 years, and Hillary herself would be happy to have gone. Many on the right will celebrate the fall of Clinton like they actually “won” something while those still actively destroying their lives remain scott free.
The former Prince Andrew was another one of those easy sacrifices.
I would put money that all of the “revelations” will be those who are yesterday’s news/no longer relevant/on their deathbed/already dead. Anyone who is still useful to the TPTB will of course remained “classified”.

I wonder if this could be another PR disaster for Israel if Epstein file confirms this: ‘In her posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, Giuffre referred to her abuser only as the “Prime Minister,” saying she feared he would “seek to hurt” her if she named him. In past court filings, she had accused former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak of raping her, an allegation he has repeatedly denied.
According to the memoir, Giuffre met the “Prime Minister” on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands in 2002, when she was 18. She was instructed to accompany him to a cabana, where the situation quickly turned violent.
“He repeatedly choked me until I lost consciousness and took pleasure in seeing me in fear for my life,” Giuffre wrote. “Horrifically, the Prime Minister laughed when he hurt me and got more aroused when I begged him to stop. I emerged from the cabana bleeding from my mouth, vagina, and anus.”

Even if Trump is not in the files, he will resist releasing them because Israel is in the files, and Trump will do everything to protect his chosen people. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am very skeptical the government will ever do any good thing, since they are a cauldron of evil. Thus the chances of us learning anything new is like that snowball’s chance in hell.
Regardless of Trump, the rest of our treasonous AIPAC bribed government doesn’t seem to have a problem that our elected officials are being blackmailed by a foreign state. The situation is so horrible and so ludicrous it makes me laugh. And we give our black mailers tens of billions a year while our budget goes unbalanced. That is complete fiscal insanity, not one foreign state should be getting one cent until we shore up our own finances. But that is what sane people would do, obviously we are not governed by sane people.
IMO the only thing that is going to stop this insanity is external fiscal discipline administered by the so-called bond vigilantis. Eventually the bond market has to revolt to such spending prolifigateness. Interest rates through the roof like the late 1970s.

I think we all agree that much of the legislation of the last century and half, at the very least, is unconstitutional. I doubt anything will be withheld since any information deemed detrimental to the Deep State has most likely been destroyed. It’s like the JFK/MLK files. I saw Trump mention them today. He said they released everything, but people still aren’t happy. That’s because any documents regarding what really happened were destroyed decades ago. We will never know who Jeffrey Epstein really was, how he achieved what he did, how he was funded, who controlled him, etc. He was an obscure math teacher who suddenly became one of the richest and most connected people in the world. ‘Senate Majority Leader John Thunetang said he expects the Senate will pass the bill to release DOJ files on the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as soon as Tuesday, a move that would send it to President Donald Trump for his signature.
