Here’s a quick – snarky – video about the sounds made by different radar detectors. Some – like my V1 – have different tones/beeps to indicate the proximity of pork as well as the variety of pork in the vicinity (e.g., K, Ka band or laser-wielding).
Some also have a sexy female voice, even!
But what would be really neat – as well as really accurate – would be the sound of actual swine snuffling, the sound of that increasing in urgency the close one gets to the source. And instead of little indicator lights indicating signal strength, how about swine icons (see pic embedded for an example)?
I think it’d be just the thing!
